Too big, hard to find the room
The pillows.
The photos of the facility online when we booked didnt show the old outdated part of the hotel , which was the biggest part of it. I wouldn't have booked at this hotel had i known that it looked like it did.
Free cookie and friendly staff at check in
It was quite the distance walk to our room. When we got to our room, it appeared that the entire wing of this particular room was under construction. We wheeled our luggage across plastic coverings on the carpet. In our room, we found tools inside the closet in the ceiling in the closet was missing. We called the front desk and they were confused as to why we were even placed in that room to begin with as if we probably shouldn’t have been put there because of the condition of the room. They offered for us to change rooms, but it was already midnight and we had unpacked. The new room wasn’t an upgrade at all. It was just a regular room so we passed on that. I just can’t believe that the hotel was OK with presenting that room as an option to us. We expected the hotel to give us some sort of inconvenience waived discount for the indecency of the room. We did not get that.
The bedding was a bit dirty, appeared to have someone else's hair in the bed.
A place to sleep from airport
One desk person questioned parking my car twice. All was pre scheduled by my travel agent. Bad directions to rooms. Same person evening desk.
Close to airport, able to walk to restaurants, very comfortable bedding
Cost
There was a waiter at the restaurant names Johnny who was exceptional. They gave us some yummy cookies when we arrived.
I was very surprised when I arrived and felt like the facilities inside and out did not match what I saw online when I booked. Everything is very dated and smells musty. I didn't take off my socks the entire time because I didn't want to touch the ancient carpet. I also felt the every staff member was unenthusiastic and probably too old to be working a job where they are on their feet all day. I had to pay more for parking than I was told and they forgot to give me breakfast vouchers which I paid for (not worth it btw) and no one seemed to really know what was going on.
Room and bed great. The complex is just too big for us and difficult to manage if you drive in. Also check in lines were very long and no response to add more check in clerks. Parking also very confusing and expensive.

I notice that everybody was getting a bottle of water with their cookies, but we didn't get any.
Location ok room spacious and comfortable
Hopelessly inadequate number of staff at reception so queues constantly. Also breakfast awful. Coffee machine produces weak tasteless coffee
Bathroom was dated.
Location to airport
Decor very dated for a 4 star hotel. Furnitur4 in room very dated and grubby.corridore need painting and renovating.
Close to airport
Huge,
Very comfortable room with a view of trees and lake. There was a wonderful waitress in the restaurant who saw the little bowl my half salad had come in that was spilling over the edge and immediately sent it back to get a larger plate. Her name I believe was Lori. Top notch! Chocolate chip cookies!
Property is huge, confusing and overall felt in need of updating and tidying. Front desk receptionist was very brusque. I had just come in from hiking and I suppose I didn’t look too presentable for her tastes. Restaurant was basic bar food.
Should have coffee available inl obby or somewhere
They have a gym & outdoor pool, 2 restaurants & a gift shop. Somewhat easy walk from airport, was great to move around after a long flight. They also have a free airport shuttle. I believe house keeping does a good job & the beds were comfortable.
For those that are tired or walk slow, it can be a long walk to the room from the front desk because the hotel is spread out & easy to get turned around. I had to look at floor maps a few times to find the gym. There are some areas that could use a good deep clean (beyond what would be expected of housekeeping) like upholstery in the restaurant & corners & creaveses on floors in rooms. It was an expensive place to stay & there was no little fridge in my room to store my dinner left overs.
Cleanliness, balcony
The hotel is extremely large and has extra plush carpets throughout making it inordinately difficult to push suitcases across carpeted areas. Also no valet, so this 70 year old, my 80 year old husband (along with the 2 grandchildren we're raising) always have a hard time getting suitcases to our room. We divide our time between Washington and Mexico, coming and going multiple times a year, so we stay here often, and very often with a lot of luggage. We dread staying here for that reason, just thinking about getting luggage to our room. Sometimes, we have a car with us in arrival, super expensive parking No free breakfast, the breakfast buffet is on the expensive side, it's over the top in terms of quality. Overall though, this is the Seatac hotel that we prefer for a variety of reasons.
Cookies were good
Had to move rooms at 2 o’clock in the morning because air was not working. Parking was horrible. There were no places to park buffet is ridiculously expensive. They did not clean our room one day. We did not get the room we were charged for.
Pillows could be better.
Hotel needs refurbishment
Furniture only one seat in room
Charged me another $40.00 for a different room that was ready
The location from the airport is awesome! Got there in just a few minutes; very straightforward. I stopped at a restaurant/bar on the way to my room and got food to go. Bartender was so nice and helpful even though he was busy. My room was clean and comfortable and accommodating.
I was disappointed that room service is no longer off, but I also understand that it must be a nightmare for the company. There was something going on in the lobby…a comic book convention maybe? It made it very difficult to navigate through the crowd and I was in a hurry to leave to get to Anacortes and make the ferry.
Location was ok.
Check in was long and frustrating. Rooms are miles away, with insufficient elevators to support them. The room was noisy with water running into the toilet all Night. Shuttle service was insufficient, meaning taxis were needed to get to the hotel.
Nothing
Service, pace of service, quality of room. Stay anywhere else
Convenient to the airport
Huge. Extremely confusing layout. Plan to walk forever anywhere you need to go.
O
One sink was clogged the other leaked, dog hair on the carpet, hallway smelt of pee. No parking in the front by the entrances only way in the back plus it's 40$ Just wasn't worth it.
It was a nice place to stay
close to airport with shuttle service
Location if your are heading to/from airport
Elevator was broken and our room was located in 3rd floor. We had to ask for a change of room. The restaurant took so long to take our order that we had to leave in order to catch our flight.
There was transportation from airport to hotel
We got there around 11pm the guest service at front desk checked us in. 1. I'm still checking on our charges for the hotel for I thought that the hotel was paid for when I booked it thru booking.com. So I was told I had to pay again. Can you please recheck that as well. 2. We was given room 6321. So we went by directions give from front desk on how to get to our room BUT finding out that the evaluator was out of service SO we had to drag luggage 3 flights of steps with luggage weighing 50lbs each. My husband has very bad asthma which set his breathing into very short breath gasping for air and I have a very bad back with titanium rod screws almost the length of my back which about killed me to drag the luggage up 3 flights of steps and then knowing we had to drag them back down 3 flights to check out. Totally unacceptable! 4. We get to the room and it stunk so bad smelled like a wet dog that also set my husband into having a hard time breathing thru the night that he started coughing alot which makes him use his inhaler more than he should and this also effects him for a day or two after for it drains the life out your body when you have asthma that bad. Now our first couple days on cruise ship will be him sleeping alot til he gets his oxygen levels back. 5. Then there was only 1 pillow I had to walk all the way back down the 3 flights of steps to front desk. They got some man little later give us pillows O and then I had to walk back up 3 flights of steps 6. Get up in morning to take a shower and the bottle for bodywash was empty. So I'm soaking wet and have nothing to shower with 7. So upon us getting up and going to front desk to get checked out and tell them what all happened and get some breakfast all front desk lady said was sorry did you tell fronr desk well yes I did. So she gave us a free breakfast tickets and there was very little food on the buffet and food was cold. 8.
Clean, nice hotel with relatively comfy beds and spacious room. Shower was good and stayed warm.
No microwave in the room. Have to walk a good distance to a microwave inside one of the Guest Laindry rooms in either the 4th or 5th wings. Mini fridge was definitely mini. Check-in was far too long with not enough staff, and almost seems to be a ploy to get people to get Hilton Honors higher tiers for the priority check-in. Not a huge deal, but we were kinda rushed getting to our scheduled event.
Bed was comfortable. Room was large. Close to airport. Cookies are always good.
It was a maze. We had to walk down hallways, up and down stairs carrying large suitcases (no elevator), more walking hallways to find an elevator. More walking hallways to find our room. Unless you paid more money on top of what you already paid to get a room just down a hallway from check in. And it smelled old and musty. We weren't the only ones confused in the maze.
There were multiple cancellations and over 50 people in line out the door and the staff was exceptional. They handled a very difficult night with professionalism and efficiency. Well done!!
Nothing
The location was close to SEATAC . Nice pool. Comfortable beds. Nice hot breakfast.
There were only 2 people checking in around 75 people in line. After 1/2 hour we went and had dinner and came back. The walk to the very end of the hotel was long and confusing and took 15 min - maybe longer.
The Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Seattle near the airport was ok. The room was clean but dated. Actually, the hotel could use a facelift. As for the price? We stayed near the airport due to having a 5:30 AM flight home Saturday morning. We thought we'd get a better price than being in the city. Big mistake - paying 700 for a two-night stay was/is outrageous in our view. A night-and-a-half stay, dated decor, no time to enjoy any of the amenities(pool, workout room, etc.). Oh, and may I add here, if you're booking and would like breakfast, book it at the 10 prebook price. We attempted to get breakfast the one morning we could; it would have been 30 dollars a person for the four of us. Another example of gouging in our minds. Lesson learned? If you have to stay near the airport, I'd find a less costly option than Hilton. Yeah, we're HH members, but geez - 700? GOOD LUCK and great health.
Quick Check-in, Considering several people waiting to get checked in
Maybe, putting a trash can in bathrooms..!
Easy check in
Parking was confusing
Very nice!
Nathan at front desk was helpful and empathetic regarding our unexpected layover in Seattle. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Just wish we had time to stay for breakfast since the hotel cafe has always been great.
The seating areas in the wings
Only one restaurant for dinner
Great location, very easy access to downtown Seattle.
It would be nice to have two nice chairs in each room
Close to the airport and clean
Long wait time to check in. Bed really uncomfortable
Shuttle busses a/c did not work. It took roughly 2 hours and three rooms before we could get a room that had a working air conditioning unit. I think a 28.00 hamburger is a little pricey as well.
Praktycznie wszystko. Hotel zapewnia bezpłatny transfer lotniskowy oraz do centrum handlowego. Blisko na stację kolejki do centrum Seattle. Przechowalnia bagażu. Super basen. Duzy pokoj. Wzięliśmy opcje ze śniadaniem i bylo to najlepsze hotelowe śniadanie w USA. Świeże owoce i pieczone warzywa to naprawdę rzadko spotykane w tym kraju
Hotel ma juz troche lat i wymaga odświeżenia- przynajmniej pokoj w którym byliśmy. Wysoka cena, ale to Seattle;)
No air conditioning....91 degrees out. No a/c in the courtsey van, no a/c in the hallways, no a/c in the room. Broken light switches and MOLD everywhere.
we had an unexpected layover so we were only in the hotel for about 6 hours total - room was very spacious and hotel seemed to have a lot of amenities but we didn't get the chance to use. Would go back again if we had an overnight layover and needed to be close to the airport
There was a smoky smell in the hallways. Not in the room thankfully.
Handy to airport with hotel shuttle both ways available and frequent. Quiet
Light in room a bit dim
This place was booked for me by the airlines because they messed up. I'm happy that they did that, I enjoyed my one night stay here. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. Clean hotel, friendly staff. The shower gel and lotion smelled really good
Good breakfast
Room was far from lobby, very dated, old, and had a musty smell. AC was intermittent. Very high price for what it was, a place to sleep overnight.
I enjoyed how quiet it was. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
I wish coffee was available earlier in the morning.
Friendly staff
Room temp was much too warm carpet was sticky long walk to room
This hotel is near the SeaTac airport.
I arrived at SeaTac Airport after midnight and had to wait over 20 minutes for the shuttle. The shuttle was crowded, and when we arrived, there was a long queue at the check-in desk. Despite other employees milling around in the background, there was only one person checking guests in. The interior of the hotel feels outdated and in need of a spruce-up. The room was clean but basic — no better than what I have experienced at a Comfort Inn or Best Western hotel. In fact, I recently stayed at the SureStay Inn near SeaTac and paid less than half the price for a room of a similar standard. I'm shocked that I had to pay almost $400 for a room at this DoubleTree hotel. I will not be coming back.
ease to airport
nothing
We just got to the hotel with no reservations and MJ make our day our trip to Japan got cancel and he was able to find us a room the hotel was sold out and he went his way to make it happens we have small kids and was a very long day. Not to mention we got to the room and we found Camila a housekeeping lady and ask for some extra towels she was so helpful I would not stop recommend this hotel if you are going to Seattle. The best costume service ever.
Too big! Extra charge for parking
Room, pool, food
7$ coffees
I had a couple issues with the room but the staff kindly helped me resolve them and offered me a generous discount. They were all very nice and very responsive.
Took about 40 minutes to check in, the room smelled off, & I requested toothpaste but never received it.
I'm a Hilton Diamond member and am very accustomed to the Doubletree brand. This is hard for me to rank as it's unclear what the hotel is trying to be. Is it trying to pose as a report/upscale type property or is it a mid level airport property. The hotel gives off some vibes of both. Good 1. Rooms are fine--not luxurious but on par for a doubletree. Everything in good working condition. 2. Hotel as a unique and in some ways a resort feel. There is a tower and then some midlevel courtyard annex rooms. 3. Walkable if you like from hotel, with a litany of restaurants around--which is important so you don't go broke dining at hotel. 4. If you like airplanes the tower upper floors have great view of airport. Bad 1. Hotel extras are VERY overpriced. $33+ tax for parking, $13 for ham breakfast croissant, $12 for yogurt--list goes on. I would consider it high for midtown NY let alone an airport property. Definitely highest prices i've seen from doubletree. 2. Hotel has lots of groups (cruise groups etc) airline crews staying over. That at times can overwhelm the desk and result in longer lines. I'd classify to the hotel staff as transactional to pleasant in my 3 days here but you can see at times they get stretched very thin.
Good enough for what we needed, but the place is run down and needs a makeover. Good location for airport and we made use of the free shuttle to get into town via the airport transit link and to return to the airport on departure day. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Another stay where we had problems at check-in because booking.com had not passed the booking on. The hotel was able to accommodate us though. Overly expensive for what it is, given the run down state of the hotel.
I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but this stay needed to be shared. The one positive thing I can say about this hotel is that the airport shuttle service was reliable and convenient. Unfortunately, that was where the positives ended. This is an older property that appears to be poorly maintained and not well managed. After arriving at 1:10 AM and taking the shuttle from the airport, I arrived at the front desk to find a shuttle full of guests all trying to check in, with only one employee handling the desk. Despite the late hour, it took over 40 minutes just to get checked in. The experience continued to decline the next morning when I discovered there was no hot water — only a lukewarm shower. For a hotel charging over $260 per night, this is simply unacceptable. On top of that, the phone in my room did not work, adding to the impression that basic maintenance and guest experience are not being prioritized. To make matters worse, I paid over $7 for a basic drip coffee, which felt excessive given the overall quality of the stay. I understand this is an older property, but age is not an excuse for poor service, lack of maintenance, or an inconsistent guest experience. With the Hilton brand behind it and the rates being charged, I expected a much higher standard.
Everything was good
I wish there had been a mini fridge and microwave in the room as I was traveling and had brought food back from dinner b4 I checked in and had no way to store it or reheat it...I was very surprised it didn't have either and had to toss my leftovers cause they were unsafe to eat...
The location was great. Near the airport was the main thing I liked.
The room was outdated with no fridge or microwave. The AC was not getting the room cool enough.
The room smelt as if someone had been smoking in it.
Closeness to the airport and the response of the staff with questions and concerns.
No microwave in the room, had to pay Xtra to upgrade to get a fridge, toilet didn't run properly, coffee pot didn't work, toilet paper holder broken and lots of dust on the bathroom wall behind the vanity and toilet. I did notify Elizabeth in a response text about the coffee pot and toilet. She couldn't do anything about the room not having a microwave. I only discovered the dust on the bathroom wall the last day and mentioned the toilet paper holder the last day as the paper would not stay on the holder.
I was out in a very old room in the old wing! I looked much different than the photo in the add.
A nicer room
Great hospitality and great staff. Big shoutout to MJ - Supervisor of Front Office Operations. I had issue with my reservation. mJ handled it very professionally. And created a welcoming atmosphere.
The staff was super helpful and kind. The rooms were clean and the pool area looked really cute.
It would have been nice to know up front how much to expect to pay for parking and how it worked. It was a little crazy since it was so close to the airport and buses of people were regularly being dropped off
Location and amenities.
Nothing
Great location close to the airport. Swimming pool was nice.
Had requested 2 rooms close to each other when booking, had to pay extra at check in to get rooms near each other, was told this was an upgrade but rooms were not brilliant. Do not think this was explained to us properly or wouldn't have paid.
Location & Shuttle Services
Outlets need update
Friendly matched my humor with great comebacks. Checked to see y stay was pleasant.
I loved the staff and the rooms
The prices for room service is way too high
Melissa in the lounge/restaurant was fabulous! She was friendly and outgoing and attentive but not overly so.
MJ, the supervisor on duty when I arrived at 2:00 a.m. was amazing! I was traveling home after a long business trip and my connection was canceled. I hastily made a reservation online, and it turned out that the third party that made the registration had the wrong arrival date. It took a long call with them, and MJ having to get involved personally to get the issue resolved. About a half hour later, and I was comfortably settled in a beautiful King room with a balcony. The hotel is very close to SEA International Airport, and has wonderful amenities such as a full service bar and restaurant. I highly recommend it to anyone needing an overnight stay for your flight.
This hotel is busy but digital check in and the team members made my stay easy and memorable. I've got to come back again!
Location to the airport and shuttle service to and from was wonderful.
Pillows were too soft and not comfortable. No eating establishments close by.and cruise terminal shuttle was a crazy mess!
Convenient location to airport, very clean, comfortable beds, convenient to local restaurants, reliable shuttle transportation
Geo
Not clean, staff. Asked 5x for a some on hold our luggage. 45 minutes to check in. Room wasn’t clean
We were executing a military move to Japan and Doubletree came through at every turn. The staff from the shuttle drivers to security and maintenance and especially the front desk staff. They went so far as to shuttle nuts and bolts to the airport to make sure my dog crates were flight ready. I’ll always go to a Doubletree first!
Rooms were spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable . Good shuttle service.
Some spaces need update. All properties were expensive for a one night stay compared to the services offered
Love a room by Bow Lake!
Like it all
Location
Old, small room, long walk to room. No parking available
I’m guessing there are nicer rooms in the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel by SeaTac. I’m in the $280 a night cheap section. Tried, dingy and bordering on dirty if you look closely. But hey, I got a free cookie!
It was convenient and close to the airport.
The rooms we were given were in a very old and outdated part of the hotel. It took us 2 different elevators on 2 different levels to get to our room. It was a maze. A few hallways smelled a little.
Staff went above and beyond, clean and comfortable accommodations
Great service and friendly staff. Thank so much to MJ (Front Desk) for your help. You are the best👌 Yours sincerely Mr Mpiti
Service, food, location

I like the fact that there was an airport shuttle and a shuttle from pier 91. That's what made this hotel stand out From all others. Also, there's a shuttle to the mall if you need to do some shopping or want to get something to eat, but there are good restaurants within walking distance, too. I, also, liked that there were swimming towels by the pool and a place to put them when we were done with them.
The toilet was very low, which is great for kids, but, I'm a senior citizen and it was difficult for me. Having a handle on the side of the wall would've made things easier.
Beautiful hotel with excellent facilities. Lovey outdoor swimming pool and hot tub. Everything was very clean and well maintained gardens.
Everything was excellent except for the staffs knowledge of how to help clients who had special assistance at the airport who used the curtesy bus to get to the airport, We were given 3 differing pieces of information and none were helpful which meant we could not access it directly and caused some stress to us. Otherwise we were delightef with our stay.
Great
All good
Very disappointing stay at this DoubleTree. While the property has a great deal of potential, its age becomes apparent from the moment you arrive. One recurring issue was the door lock system, which frequently malfunctioned. This created unnecessary inconvenience and made it difficult to quietly enter the room or access amenities such as the gym and pool. Additionally, I was offered the standard Hilton Honors welcome benefit choice of points or a food and beverage credit. During check-in, I was informed that the hotel bar remained open until midnight. Unfortunately, that information was inaccurate. I arrived at the bar shortly before 11:30 p.m. and found staff already shutting down operations, despite several guests still dining and drinking. When I asked about getting a beverage, the bartender suggested that I walk two blocks to a gas station if I needed one. This response raised several concerns. First, guests should not be expected to leave the hotel property late at night to obtain services that are advertised as available on-site. As a traveler unfamiliar with the area, I had no way of knowing whether doing so would be safe. Second, if the stated closing time is midnight, guests should reasonably expect service to be available until that time. It is frustrating when published operating hours appear to be disregarded for staff convenience. I was also disappointed by the manner in which the suggestion was delivered. Being told that if I “needed a drink” I could go to a gas station felt dismissive and unprofessional. My intent was simply to enjoy a beer at the end of a long travel day, not to be made to feel as though I was seeking alcohol out of necessity. The hotel’s challenges appear to be less about the property itself and more about consistency in service standards. Improved training, stronger management oversight, and better adherence to established policies would go a long way toward enhancing the guest experience. When employees become comfortable operating outside of established expectations, service quality inevitably suffers. Guests should be able to rely on the policies and hours communicated by the hotel, rather than encountering inconsistent practices. Had I been aware of these issues before my stay, I would have chosen a different hotel that was better suited to my travel arrangements. Accurate information about hotel amenities, operating hours, and overall guest experience is important when selecting accommodations, and the shortcomings I encountered significantly impacted the value and convenience of this stay.
This Doubletree is the larger but older of the two. This one is Tiki themed. The workers are nice, but the rooms are more tired. Pay for an upgrade. Breakfast was included or it would have been $30 pp. Outdoor pool has a lot of sun and people were enjoying it. This will be an amazing property after it's upgraded
Spacious and clean rooms. Easy access to and from parking.
The decor is dated and looked worn. The extra high cost for parking.
Cookies and bottled water were a great welcome after a long day of traveling.
The staff is top notch with Regina and DeeAnn at the front desk. Onsite restaurant has good selection and breakfast is really good! Room was clean and taken care of.
