Mas o que realmente fez a diferença na nossa estadia foi o atendimento da recepção. Quero deixar um agradecimento especial para Flávia e Micol, que foram simplesmente maravilhosas! Extremamente simpáticas, atenciosas, educadas e sempre dispostas a ajudar. Nos atenderam com muita cordialidade e fizeram com que nos sentíssemos muito bem recebidos desde o primeiro momento. É aquele tipo de atendimento que faz toda a diferença em uma viagem. A equipe foi impecável e, sem dúvida, as duas merecem um reconhecimento especial. The room was spacious for my son and I. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. We also went to the roof top bar and the wait staff was excellent. Wonderful customer service.

Comfortable if basic hotel room on the smallish side. Plus side was excellent AC, especially helpful given the high temperatures in Catania. Bathroom was ok but could use some attention to mildew in the tub. Note the tub is a high step up which is standard in Italy. Breakfast was rather pedestrian with a heavy emphasis on pastries. Location is ok and about a 10-15 minute walk to major attractions. Lots of restaurant options nearby.

Lovely, clean property, helpful staff I want to thank the nice people at the desk for helping my husband and I settle in after a stressful day of cancelled flights ! It was so nice to be in a clean and comfortable hotel. This was my first time in an NH property. I will definitely add the name to my filtering options when looking for a place to stay in the future!

O hotel é excepcional e lindamente decorado. Acabamos nos hospedando por um imprevisto, após o cancelamento do nosso voo, e fomos muito bem recebidos por Sebastiano, que nos acolheu e nos ajudou em um momento bastante difícil. Na manhã seguinte, toda a equipe também nos atendeu com muita simpatia e cordialidade. O quarto era extremamente confortável, assim como o banheiro, e contava com todas as comodidades necessárias, além de diversos detalhes que tornaram a estadia ainda mais agradável. A localização é excelente, em uma área mais tranquila do centro, mas a poucos minutos de táxi do aeroporto. Sem dúvida, não hesitaremos em nos hospedar novamente quando retornarmos à Sicília.

The hotel is very well situated and the rooms are nice. I ate at the restaurant on one of my nights and really enjoyed the food. Flavia helped us with out car rental and restaurant reservations. She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and goes out of her way to help the guests.

Great location, good sized room, friendly and helpful staff. We could just see the sea from our room which was lovely. Breakfast was nice with a decent variety of cold dishes.

The twin beds were very skinny.

The rooms are extremely hot in the summer. They control the AC at the front desk. Don’t book here if you want any kind of sleep. I had to take sleeping pills just to get a few hours of rest.

Hotel is well located in downtown and is a good option for the ones that needs to go to Airport or for business. I had an upgrade in my room and it was a good surprise.

We were here for 2 nights and everything was so wonderful. The staff is truly kind and really helpful. Breakfast has a lot of options, and it's served early in case you are planning to explore Etna or outside Catania. The hotel is near the city center (15 min walk) and the area feels safe. There's two parking options nearby. If we come back to Catania we will certainly be coming back to NH Catania City Center.

I recently stayed with friends at Hotel Catania Centro and had a very pleasant experience overall. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore Catania’s main attractions, restaurants, and shops on foot. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with recommendations or any requests. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the essential amenities needed for a relaxing stay. Although the decor is somewhat simple, it feels cozy and functional.

This was such a great place. What we care about? Clean- Very! Spotless and smells good! Location- close to everything! Staff- Fantastic- special shout out to Paolo! He helped us at every step from helping with tours, taxis, rooms! Everyone was great but we loved Paolo! Breakfast- delicious and a nice variety! It was easy and tasty!!! Rooms - lots of room- very spacious!! Loved the showers! Highly recommend this great place! PS - we saw our flight crew was staying here as well - they always pick the best spots!!

We used this excellent hotel as our base for a week exploring Sicily's east coast. Great location (close to the main areas of interest in Catania but not noisy), pleasant and spacious rooms, very good breakfast and OUTSTANDING staff, especially front desk. Professional yet friendly, and endlessly helpful.

Well managed hotel with well trained friendly staff

One block too far from the busiest tourist area, but it is not a real barrier to be honest

A disappointing hotel experience. I paid for services that simply did not exist. Several claims were misleading. On Booking.com, the hotel lists parking, even a garage. In reality, there is none. You either find a spot on the street, if you’re lucky, or use a public parking area three streets away. It also states that breakfast is included. In practice, if you want something as basic as fried eggs, you are asked to pay an extra €6. The room is advertised as air-conditioned. When we stayed in April, it was 26°C outside and 28°C inside the room. The air conditioning could not be used because the system is centrally controlled and was set to heating. Beyond that, the breakfast is poor, the service quality is low, and the overall standard of the hotel is underwhelming. I raised all these issues at reception. There was no apology. I do not recommend this hotel.

El personal de recepción y de la sala de desayuno están muy entregados a ofrecer un servicio personalizado. Felicito a Pietro, Lorenzo, Anna y Micol por una atención magnífica. El desayuno era muy amplio, a la altura de los desayunos en la cadena NH en España. La habitación tenía de todo y era muy cómoda.

La cafetería en la planta baja es muy cara. Un tercio de cerveza local costaba 8,00€ y me parecía demasiado caro. Además, la cocina sólo ofrece comida elaborada de restaurante y nada de comida ligera como un sandwich, hamburguesa, pizza o una ensalada. La dirección debería aprovechar más sus instalaciones y ampliar la oferta para que el bar del hotel sea una opción viable de comer para los huéspedes. El sistema de activación del ascensor con la tarjeta de la habitación no funciona bien y es frustrante su uso. El hotel está ubicado en una zona céntrica con pocos habitantes pero en una de la avenidas grandes que facilitaba la entrada y salida de la ciudad. Encontramos plazas de aparcamiento facilmente en la plaza del hotel y en las calles próximas. La primera impresión de la zona no era muy favorable. Se tarda unos 20-25 minutos para llegar caminando al centro histórico de Catania. La próxima vez buscaré un hotel más céntrico.
