Green Cottage Chamarel

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property surrounded by lush greenery. A peaceful, welcoming and charming place. Raymond and his team are incredibly kind and always available. Highly recommended!

Wir waren für 6 Tage zu viert im Tree Fern Cottage untergebracht. Unser Gastgeber Raymond hat uns am Tag unserer Ankunft empfangen und alles gezeigt. Alle 2 Tage wurde das Haus geputzt und der Kühlschrank für das Frühstück aufgefüllt. Das Cottage liegt mitten in den Bergen an einem Hang am Rande "der Wildnis". Wer Blumen, Vögel und die Aussicht liebt ist hier genau richtig. Wir hatten eher etwas schlechteres Wetter - dieses wechselt auf Mauritius durchaus mehrfach am Tag - und wir haben alleine an einem Tag sicher 10 Regenbögen gesehen. Der Anfahrtsweg ist zu Begin etwas abenteuerlich aber mit etwas Übung geht es immer besser. Innerhalb von wenigen Minuten ist man mitten im Nationalpark und auch der Weg zu den Stränden von Le Morne ist nicht weit (20 Minuten). Es ist ein wunderbarer Ort um zur Ruhe zu kommen - und trotz der Abgeschiedenheit muss man nicht auf WLAN, fließendes Wasser etc. verzichten.

Nádherný výhled, pohodlné vybavení, plná lednice, čistota, příroda na dosah a neuvěřitelný klid. Výhodou bylo ohniště a bazén. I v nepříznivém počasí je toto ubytování skvělým zážitkem a má co nabídnout. Například i deskové hry.

Die Lage ist super.

Perfect place. Very humble and helpful owner and staffs. Plants and flowers everywhere and very well maintained.

It's not a complaint but just a small suggestion that it would be nice if the check out time could be moved to atleast 10 am-11am instead of 9am. Some people come to relax and they would like to comfortably wake up, have their breakfast, maybe use the swimming pool for some time and then check out.

It was super clean. The cleaning team is top notch. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, the rooms. The view was amazing What we loved most is that it was very private.

Traumhafte Lage. Die Zufahrt ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Basis-Frühstück wurde bei uns für 2 Tage wurde im Kühlschrank bereitgestellt. Es wird also nicht frisch in die Unterkunft zubereitet/geliefert. Wer mehr Auswahl möchte, bitte vorher besorgen. Der nächste Supermarkt ist 20 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Lokale Restaurants sind abends geschlossen.

We spent 2 nights at Green Cottage Chamarel - the Tree Fern House - with my husband and our child, and we had such a lovely stay. The view is absolutely beautiful — honestly, it might be one of the best in Chamarel. The house is very comfortable, spacious and really well equipped with everything you could need. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get. We only stayed for 2 nights, but we could easily have spent a whole week there. The host was also very welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, which made the stay even more special. It’s such a peaceful and relaxing place, perfect for enjoying Chamarel and slowing down for a few days. We would definitely come back and would happily recommend it!

Es liegt in einem Nationalpark mitten in der Natur und ist deshalb auch sehr ruhig und idyllisch gelegen. Einfach traumhaft!

مكان رائع بكل معنى الكلمة. الفيلا جميلة جدًا وواسعة، والإطلالة على الجبل ساحرة وهادئة وتبعث على الاسترخاء. الفيلا مجهزة بكل ما قد تحتاجه، والمطبخ يحتوي على جميع المستلزمات مثل البيض، والحليب، والتوست، والزبدة، وزيت الزيتون، والزيت النباتي، والبهارات، والسباغيتي، وصلصة السباغيتي، وعصير البرتقال، والمربى، والعسل، والمياه. يتم توفير جميع مكونات الإفطار، ولكن تقوم بتحضيره بنفسك، وهي فكرة جميلة تمنحك الحرية في اختيار الوقت والطريقة التي تناسبك. يوجد مسبح قريب من الفيلا يمكن الوصول إليه سيرًا على الأقدام. كما تتوفر داخل الفيلا مجموعة من الألعاب الجماعية التي تضيف أجواءً ممتعة للعائلة والأصدقاء. خارج الفيلا يوجد مكان مخصص لإشعال النار مع طاولة طعام خارجية، وهو مكان رائع لقضاء الأمسيات، بالإضافة إلى وجود طاولة طعام داخل الفيلا. من الأمور التي أعجبتني أيضًا وجود شطاف في الحمام، وهو أمر قد يهم الكثير من المسافرين العرب. السرير مريح جدًا، والغرف مجهزة بتكييف هواء، ومروحة، وجهاز تدفئة، لذلك ستكون الإقامة مريحة في مختلف الأجواء. سأزور هذا المكان مرة أخرى بكل تأكيد، فهو بالفعل يجعلك تشعر وكأنك في بيتك الثاني. أنصح به بشدة لكل من يبحث عن الهدوء، والطبيعة، والراحة. This place is absolutely beautiful, and the villa is very spacious. The mountain view from the villa is breathtaking and truly unforgettable. The villa is well-equipped with everything you need. The kitchen comes stocked with eggs, milk, bread, butter, olive oil, cooking oil, spices, spaghetti, pasta sauce, orange juice, jam, honey, and bottled water. For breakfast, all the ingredients are provided, but you prepare it yourself, which was a nice and flexible option. There is a swimming pool within walking distance of the villa. The villa also has a selection of board games and group games, making it perfect for families and friends. Outside, there is a fire pit with an outdoor dining table nearby, which creates a wonderful atmosphere in the evening. There is also a dining table inside the villa. The bathroom includes a bidet spray (handheld bidet), which was very convenient.

Le site exceptionnel, le calme, le confort. Notre hôte a pensé a tout pour que le séjour soit parfait.

Великолепное расположение! Виды - потрясающие, тишина, уединение! В доме чисто, есть вся необходимая техника и даже больше. Особенно понравилось наличие солнечной электростанции и резервного генератора на случай отключения электричества, что увы не редкость в нынешних реалиях. Хозяин отзывчивый и всегда готов помочь, если возникнут вопросы. Очень рекомендую тем, кто ищет уединения и прекрасных видов.

Был запах камина при заезде, что не удивительно, так как камин в доме есть и это тоже плюс. Скорее всего вилла стояла закрытая какое-то время перед нашим заездом. Мы открыли окна на проветривание и на следующий же день запах исчез.

Amazing remote location , beautiful hill settings

Wir waren für zwei Nächte im Haus, um den Geopark zu besuchen und dort zu wandern! Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben, hätte unsere Reiseroute dies zugelassen… das Haus ist einfach traumhaft!!! Die Lage in den Bergen mitten im Dschungel einmalig!! Das Personal hat uns so herzlich empfangen! Leider hatten wir keine Zeit den tollen Pool zu nutzen, den es überraschenderweise gab. Davon hatten wir vorher nichts gelesen, umso mehr haben wir uns darüber gefreut! Das Haus ist sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet! Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Anfahrt zum Haus ist abenteuerlich, war aber mit unserem Auto trotz fehlendem Allradantrieb problemlos zu meistern. Ein Video mit der genauen Anfahrtsbeschreibung hatten wir im Vorfeld per WhatsApp erhalten. Bei der Einfahrt in den Geopark einfach sagen, dass man im Green Cottage übernachtet und schon darf man die Schranke passieren. Wir können dieses Cottage nur jedem ans Herz legen! Vielen Dank an die tollen Gastgeber!

Fantastic view, calmness, ideal for deep dive in surrounding nature in Chamarel mountains. Perfect cleaning service Amazing fully equipped villa (barbecue, relax zone, every sleeping room with bathroom). Breakfast is basic, but enough if you equipped with some food staff with you. We fall in love in this place. Definitely we ll come back next time on Mauritius 🇲🇺

May be early check out time

Geweldige locatie midden in de natuur, iets gedateerd maar comfortabel huis, rustig, klein ontbijtje werd gebracht om 8 uur. Er is een klein gedeeld zwembad.

Uitchecken om 9 uur is niet van deze tijd en niet relaxed. Wij kregen een uurtje extra en dat is prima. Communicatie stroef, personeel ter plekke sprak geen Engels. Muggen!

Krásná vila s okouzlujícím výhledem. Není co vytknout, snad jen k snídani by to chtělo nějakou zeleninu a ovoce, jinak bez chyby. Člověk tam dokáže zapomenout na starosti, práci a můžete se pouze dívat na přírodu a relaxovat. Je k dispozici i společný bazén. Děkujeme

An absolutely beautiful place — a true hidden gem. We spent two wonderful, calm and peaceful days there, enjoying both the house and the stunning sunsets. The home is fully equipped with everything you might need, making it easy to cook breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. It felt like a complete reset — almost like a private retreat. Secluded and serene, yet still conveniently close to all nearby attractions. We truly loved our stay.

Le cadre incroyable au milieu des montagne, la vue a couper le souffle ! La maison est joliment décorée et bien équipée, la literie top. La possibilite de faire un feu le soir apporte un charme fou au lieu. Etre seuls au milieu de rien, un grand luxe ! Petit dej simple mais tres bien.

La maison étant autonome, a la fin du séjour nous n'avions plus de batterie avec l'énergie solaire en fin de nuit et nous avons ete reveille 2 nuits toutes les 10 min a partir de 4h du matin par le générateur qui prenait le relais, Petit bémol egalement pour la piscine commune difficile d'accès en contre bas.

Place where the house is located is truly stunning, surrounded by beautiful jungle nature. The place has everything you could possibly need during your stay, from kitchen utensils to different types of electricity sockets. It really makes you feel at home

Het uitzicht was adembenemend. Vooral in de vroege ochtend bij het wakker worden. Gefilterd ochtendlicht door de " treefern". De cottage is verder van alle gemakken voorzien. Tijdens ons verblijf is er geen tuinonderhoud met lawaai gepleegd. Wel op de dag dat we vertrokken, maar we begrijpen dat dat op enig moment moet gebeuren. Timing leek op onze aan- en afwezigheid afgestemd

De fantastische restaurants in Chamarel zijn alleen voor de lunch geopend.

Bungalow bien équipé avec une vue imprenable sur les hauteurs de Chamarel.

Raymond fait preuve d’une rigidité absolue dans ses procédures de départ et d’arrivée qui frise avec le ridicule. Disposer de bungalows sur un site magnifique ne donne pas le droit de s’affranchir des règles élémentaires d’hospitalité et de l’accueil touristique. D’autant plus lorsque le prix est élevé. Faire le choix de l’hôtellerie, il n’y a pas que les bénéfices à en tirer, c’est aussi accepter les contraintes du métier. Faire preuve d’un peu de flexibilité sur les horaires d’arrivée et de départ est un minimum. En réservant sur booking, j’avais demandé à pouvoir faire le check-in entre 17h et 18h. Je reçois ensuite un message de confirmation qui m’annonce accepter ma demande mais pas après 18h. Soit. Puis la veille de l’arrivée je reçois un nouveau message qui m’annonce finalement que ma demande est refusée, que nous devons impérativement arriver avant 16h. Le jour de notre arrivée, étant en 2 voitures séparées, mon épouse arrive sur place un peu en avance. Raymont refuse de faire le check-in avec elle sous prétexte que la réservation est faite à mon nom ; nous sommes mariés depuis 13 ans et portons le même nom de famille. Excès de zèle… Le jour du départ, nous devons impérativement quitter les lieux à 9h. Non négociable. Soit. C'est très tôt mais nous avons respecté. Du jamais vu à l’Ile Maurice. Après avoir écumé depuis plus de 15 ans de très nombreux logements un peu partout à L’ile Maurice, gîtes, cottage, bungalow, hôtels…, de tout type, de l’entrée de gamme au très luxueux, nous n’avons jamais connu pareil accueil. Le comportement de Raymond ne fait malheureusement pas honneur à l’Ile Maurice, île du tourisme par excellence. Mais soyez rassurés chers lecteur/lectrices de cet avis, cette expérience reste une anomalie isolée, nous avons toujours été reçus ailleurs à l’Ile Maurice par des hôtes de très grandes qualités, portant fièrement les valeurs de l’hôtellerie, ayant un vrai sens de l’accueil et du bien-être de ses clients.

Ein wunderbares Haus mitten im / über dem Naturschutzgebiet Chamarel mit dem berühmten Wasserfall und den siebenfarbigen Erden, nicht zu vergessen der Ebony Forest (unbedingt den Trail bis zum Sublime Viewpoint gehen!). Für die beiden letzteren unbedingt Eintrittskarten am Gate kaufen, an den Spots selbst kann man keine Tickets erwerben. Raymond war ein überaus herzlicher und hilfsbereiter Host! Das Haus ist toll und autark, von Nachbarn weit und breit keine Spur. Den Abend läuten die Hunde im Tal ein, den Morgen die Gockel im Tal und die Vögel am Haus. Traumhaft! Morgens bringen 2 Damen das Frühstück, alle paar Tage wirbeln die beiden Vormitttags durchs Haus und wechseln Handtücher etc. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit Raymond und die inspirierenden Tips! Falls Du mal nach Kapstadt kommst, würden wir uns gerne revanchieren - bitte melden!!

We were greeted with champagne and fruit. They gave us tickets to the ebony forest. The place is beautiful and picturesque. An authentic cottage with its own calm vibe.

We loved this place! It’s a special and calm place, surrounded by nature with an incredible view. The best of it: you don’t have to share it with anyone! The host is a great guy, that thought of everything. There is spray against insects, towels for the pool, breakfast (brought every morning in a basket), yoga mats, etc. We had great days here and it’s worth another visit for sure!

Almost nothing, but the only thing is information about the road that you need to take to get to the house. The road itself is not incredibly difficult, but driving it for the first time needs some concentration. Highly recommended to come with an automatic car (4x4 is not necessary).

Stunning spot. The cottage was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to a comfortable and relaxing stay. It felt luxurious and very natural at the same time. Very spacious. A breakfast hamper was delivered each morning. The pool was lovely, with stunning views and green parakeets flying overhead. We wished we could stay for a month!

Location was stunning. Inside the national park and surrounded by nature and peace. Raymond and the staff were wonderful and very attentive. Was nice to have a chat with him and learn about his life. Very clean and quiet, nice light breakfast and good facilities to enjoy your stay in the mountains. Highly reccomend a visit to the south and this location to rest your head.

Einziges Cottage in einer einzigartigen Lage inmitten der Natur. Raymond ist ein super netter Gastgeber. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit als Familie und haben mehrere Gipfel in der wunderschönen Umgebung bestiegen.

The accommodation is located in a wonderful place. It offers a beautiful view and is extremely well equipped. The host is very kind, attentive, and helpful. I can only recommend it to anyone who is looking for complete relaxation in a breathtaking environment.

Сказочное место! Волшебные виды, пение птиц, очень удобные кровати, красивый интерьер, есть все как для короткой поездки так и для длительного проживания. Бассейн прекрасный, как и прогулка до него. Много живности, но это не мешает отдыху. Прекрасное место для отдыха и медитаций в отдаленности от людей, но очень близко к достопримечательностям.

The cottage was beautiful and had amazing views. Sunrise was amazing and the cottage itself was very comfortable. You get access to the swimming pool and to the fire pit. The host was the best and he catered to all our needs. Even gave us a rum bottle upon arrival. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!!

Helt fantastisk beliggenhed midt i naturen, fantastisk udsigt. Nemt at komme rundt til Chamarel og Black River Gorge.

Køkkenet kunne have været lidt bedre udstyret, der var mange myg så det var ikke så relevant at bruge ude faciliteterne om aftenen.

Loved the isolated location in nature! The house itself is beautiful and very comfortable, we loved the architecture and the decoration. The pool is also great. Just a recommendation for future travellers: use mosquito repellent. They have several types left to be used by the guests, which is great.

Wonderful view, gardens, interior design (rustic but very comfortable), easy access to nature. A lovely pool to cool down in after a day’s walking and then a fire pit or BBQ under the stars. Plus great hospitality.

The cottage has a stunning view. It is a well equipped luxurious and comfortable house in the 7 Colored Earth, Chamarel Falls and Ebony Forest park. A great place to explore the South West of the island.

The charm of the cottage being in this beautiful surrounding in the middle of nature area means it is remote from shops and restaurants so plan ahead with groceries etc.

Cottage magnifique et isolée. Très belle prestation. Piscine très agréable.

Accueil froid. Il y a une tranche horaire d arrivée que nous avons respecté et avons été accueilli très froidement. Difficile d anticiper précisément son heure d arrivée quant on est en vacances. J estime que cela fait parti de la prestation d avoir une latence sur les horaires d arrivées et de départ. 3 heures de latences est un minimum étant donné le budget, cela fait parti du service. C est àu propriétaire de s organiser pas aux vacanciers. Petit déjeuner sans intérêt, autant prévoir le votre. Route d accès très compliquée. Nombreux moustiques. Nombreuses caméras extérieures...

Remote location up an unmade road inside the black river national park. Its quiet and peaceful and surrounded by nature. The views are wonderful and there a lots of birds, frogs , lizards and moongoose to see particulalry at dawn/dusk. The cortage has everthing you need for a comfortable stay with a well stocked kitchen comfortable indoor and outdoor seating ad movely poolside area.

Nothing really….looks just like it does in the lictures so if that is what you are after go ahead!

Amazing property - highly recommend. Views are stunning and very well equipped.

It is a fantastic and absolutely amazing place to disconnect and be close to nature. The place is really well equipped (for example, fireplace and campfire to keep warm, bbq grill, insect repellents, and even board games!!). The amazing views both in the morning and at night are to live for. And the cleanliness of the whole cottage (which is very beautiful) is much appreciated.

Location in the Chamarel park is incredible, amazing views and the house is spectacular, very comfortable and well appointed.

It’s quite a rough drive into the park which we didn’t fully appreciate (with a wait at the gate to get in). We didn’t realise that the host would also be travelling to the property just to let us in so check-in time needs to be very precise. We were later than anticipated and host was a little grumpy/rude on our arrival. Breakfast was not clearly communicated and was disappointing with quite a bit of single use plastic and poor quality bread. Note that whilst you have the place to yourselves, cleaning staff may be on site very early (before 7am). Checkout 9am with host on site at 8:45.

Eines der besten Ferienhäuser in dem wir je übernachtet haben: Fast nagelneu, sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet, ruhig gelegen auf einem großen Grundstück inmitten wunderschöner Natur. Sehr freundlicher Eigentümer.

Nous avons été confrontés à plusieurs situations préoccupantes de la part du propriétaire. Nous avions informé le propriétaire de notre intention de quitter les lieux le 22 octobre à 6h00. À notre grande surprise, il nous a notifié son refus de procéder à l'état des lieux de sortie à cette heure. De plus, il a indiqué que quitter le logement sans lui remettre les clés à 9h00 entraînerait des conséquences, ce que nous avons interprété comme une menace. Cette situation nous a placés dans l'obligation d'annuler des prestations de voyage prévues pour nous conformer à son exigence de présence à 9h00. 1. Le refus de notre demande légitime de départ à 6h00, accompagné de menaces, constitue un abus. 3. Malgré son refus de procéder au check-out à 6h00, le propriétaire s'est présenté au cottage à cette heure et a pris des photographies de nous alors que nous dormions, portant atteinte à notre intimité. 4. Le propriétaire a refusé de nous fournir un justificatif du paiement de la taxe de tourisme. 5. Il a initialement refusé de signer l'état des lieux de sortie, ne le faisant qu'après nos insistances répétées. 6. Le propriétaire nous a insultés en présence de nos enfants et nous a menacés en déclarant : "Vous devriez vous inquiéter avant de quitter l'île Maurice"

The cottage is exactly as shown on the pictures, set in a beautiful garden with amazing views of the valley. It’s the perfect escape from the concrete jungle. The cottage is spacious and comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped for a self catering stay.

Это был лучший отель во время нашего отдыха на Маврикии! Останавливались тут на 2 ночи (семья с 2 детьми-подростками). Есть своя большая парковка. Вилла находится в парке Шамарель, в уединенном, очень зеленом месте - вокруг деревья и много цветов. Дом находится на горе, поэтому, выйдя из стеклянных красивых дверей виллы, ты оказываешься со всех сторон окружен деревьями и зеленью. Каждая деталь дома продумана до мелочей. Много красивых деревянных изделий, картин, предметов интерьера. Кровати большие и удобные. Все очень чистое. Из огромных панорамных окон видна зелень. Есть кухня, оборудованная всем необходимым: плита, холодильник, много посуды (тарелки, кастрюли, красивые бокалы и т.д.). Нас поразил настоящий камин (в котором уже лежали дрова), который мы затопили. Он создает такой уют вечером! На улице в специальном месте сложены дрова для костра. Есть барбекюшница для жарки мяса, уголь и розжиг, которыми мы воспользовались. При заезде хозяин (Raymond) подарил бутылочку маврикийского рома. При отеле (нужно немного спуститься с горы) есть бассейн, но мы до него даже не добрались, так приятно было находиться в самой вилле. Жаль, что мы тут останавливались всего на 2 дня.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Green Cottage Chamarel! The place is charming, peaceful, surrounded by lush greenery that makes you instantly feel relaxed and really gives you that peaceful “escape in nature” vibe. The cottage is well maintained, cozy, and perfectly located for exploring Chamarel and its natural beauty. The cottage is well kept, clean, well equipped. The host is very welcoming and attentive (merci pour le rhum), and you can feel the love and care put into the place. We had such a lovely time at Green Cottage Chamarel! Overall, it’s an amazing getaway spot, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a serene escape in Chamarel. 🌿✨

Der Ausblick und der Garten waren sensationell. Balsam für die Seele! Das Haus wunderschön eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Wir haben jede Sekunde genossen! Haus und Garten sind tipptopp sauber, der Tisch war liebevoll gedeckt, Trinkwasser war vorhanden, genauso wie Strandtücher und Lebensmittel, um sich den ersten Abend gemütlich zu machen. Es ist an alles gedacht an diesem wunderschönen Ort! Raymond war ein höflicher und sehr zuvorkommender Gastgeber und hat uns trotz kleiner Verspätung sehr nett empfangen. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft wärmstens weiter! Sie ist vor allem für Naturliebhaber eine Oase und einer der schönsten Plätze, die wir bisher aufgesucht haben. Unser 10 Jähriger Sohn wäre am liebsten gar nicht mehr weggefahren. Wir kommen wieder, wenn wir Mauritius erneut besuchen. Danke für einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt mit einem abendlichen Abschiedsfeuer an der tollen Feuerstelle.

Nicht gefallen ist ein zu starkes Wort, jedoch war der sehr frühe Check out ein wenig stressig. Das kann man mit Sicherheit absprechen - was wir leider nicht getan haben. Doch es war vorher bekannt, somit gibt es nichts zu Meckern.

Waren als Familie im Juli 2025 in den Green Cottages. Das Tree Fern Cottage ist wunderbar ausgestattet, bietet alles, was man in der Abgeschiedenheit braucht. Der Blick aus dem Cottage ist wunderschön. Wir haben uns sehr wohl bei Raymond gefühlt und empfehlen den Besuch sehr.

The pool and the place are not clean. There is no privacy in the place. The manager was taking pictures of everything and sending it to me via WhatsApp. Very bad treatment.

Green cottage is very spacious, in an idyllic position within the park. Great views of the valley. There is everything you could possibly need for an amazing stay. The surrounding garden is beautiful, with a pool further down the path. If you choose not to cook in the well equipped kitchen, it’s in a good location for restaurants, but will need transport. Watching the fruit bats from the park’s waterfall (short drive) is amazing, but they can be seen from the garden. Raymond ensures you have an amazing stay.

Magical Stay in Nature A great find, the cottage is right in the middle of the Seven Coloured Earth park—a unique and peaceful location. Super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The views were amazing, and we loved being surrounded by nature. The host was friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. Perfect spot to relax and explore Chamarel. We'd definitely come back!

Where do I start! This place is a little paradise on earth. The host's attention to tiny detail is phenomenal. His welcome is truly remarkable. Everything to make ypur stay a memorable one is there. The cottage is spotless clean. The views are breathtaking. Supplies are there, and we liked the concept of "take some, put something back." There's tea, coffee, sugar, and water and much more. Tablets for dishwasher and detergents for washing machine are provided. It's in a quiet place in the park with a parking space for the car. At the end of our short stay, there was even a safe place to keep our luggage safely. We have stayed in many places, being cottages, hotels, or apartments around the world, but this has been the best stay by far. It's one of a kind. Highly recommended

Beautiful house with incredible views and stylish interior. A wonderfully peaceful spot and we enjoyed sitting around the fireplace in the evening. The owner was so welcoming and the cottage had everything we could need for our stay. A special place and we feel so lucky to have stayed at Green Cottage.

Superb wonderful villa that is worth to experience!!! Amazing view on the mountains and a very nice garden. Also a lovely garden/mountain view from one of the bedrooms. It’s a property where you would like to rest the whole day without going anywhere! And you have all you might need for your comfy stay. The host treated us very nice. It was so kind from his side! The villa is definitely highly recommended! P.S. Soon there will be also a swimming pool :)

The way to the villa after the main road is much easier reachable by 4x4 car or at least an automatic model but that didn’t spoil our stay :)

The cottage is located on the slope of a hill with a magnificent view of the highest mountain in Mauritius. Perfect location for nature lovers and hikers. A peaceful retreat and escapism into a fairytale like landscape where time stops and bliss prevails. A cottage with high end facilities and amenities, designed with elegance. Warm welcome and hospitality from the owner and friendly staff attending to customers needs.

Magnificent place with great view. Amazing garten and very nice atmosphere in the cottage. Yannick, the guy who checked us in, is very nice and very helpful! You have everything you need - iron, washing machine, soaps, shampoo, towels for the beach, etc.

The road is a bit tricky when it rains because there is a lot of mud. But driving veeeeery slow helps a lot!

The cottage is extraordinary. You are in the middle of a jungle. Our host Raymond was very attentive and took care of the well-being of his guests down to the smallest detail. The house is equipped with everything you could wish. A very good kitchen with all the utensils you need for a successful cooking

Amazing place, with incredible view - we enjoy every moment being there ! But you need to be ready drive very very deep in to the mountains- on almost off road . Takes around 20 min to get to the nearest shop. Property very nice vintage inspired ! Enough of towels for shoes and beach !

The owner act like he make for us an a favor all the time … feels like he want us to appreciate him to be there . But it definitely doesn’t spoil all impressions!
