ChamGaia off-grid eco-villa

We took the three cabins for our family of seven. Words cannot describe the beauty of the cabins or the location. Our host, Aurelia, met us and went us through all the details. The three cabins are beautiful, we'll stocked and clean. The area is breathtaking and we enjoyed a solitude rare to find, surrounded by a thousand shades of green and sounds of birds. Simply wonderful stay!

Wonderful Environment- great retreat. Clean and cozy loft. The bedding made me sleep good.

Beautiful location and property

The location was amazing! The villas are located in the middle of the jungle surrounded by trees and animals. The views were spectacular. The villas were very modern and spacious. We could also order some local food for dinner which was was not only a great deal but was delicious! If you love nature, you would love staying there.

There was no hot water in the two smaller villas, or at least in the afternoon/evening so this was a bit uncomfortable. Having a hair dryer there would have been nice. Also, some of the nets in the villas were broken so different types of animals enter, which is understandable since you're in the middle of the jungle, but is something to keep in mind.

Everything from the first step was excellent and exceptional.

Since the place is surrounded by many trees you expect lots of Mosquitoes and geckos.

Absolutely everything. Just wow. One of the most incredible villas we have ever stayed in. Amazing view, incredible sounds of nature in the morning, stunning sunsets.

Insects are all around, but don't forget that you are in the middle of the most beautiful national park of Mauritius, so you are their guest. Don't harm them.

Perfect for larger groups. Highly recommend the optional dinner (ca. 10Euro per p.) that is brought to the estate.

Amazing villas in a beautiful and quiet setting. Perfect if you want to be in the middle of nature but still like the comfort of modern living :-). Our hosts, the cleaning and maintenance staff were very helpful throughout our stay - we arrived quite late for the check-in and someone stayed late to give us a tour of the villas (which was much appreciated). That said, I would definitely recommend arriving earlier in the afternoon if possible.

My only minor comment would be about the pack that was sent to us a couple of weeks ahead of the visit. In addition to valuable information about the property and our stay, it also included a detailed list of what to do/not to do. While I understand the reasons behind this (everything in the property has been chosen with care and so, should be taken care of), this made me a bit anxious about our stay. Our host went through these « rules » again at check-in and this did much to reduce my worry, such that I thought the verbal explanation would have been enough. As I said earlier, this is just a minor point.
