Is the third time we stay at this hotel. Was a better experience before so we decided to get the same hotel as is very near the train but When we arrived they showed the room.The mattres was like a rock so we asked to change after a discusion they acepted and changed rhe room Brekfast is a complete disaster never had a breakfast like that not even in a cheper hotel .Very poor so we decided to don't loose or time and did not go any more.Staf need to upgrade english as we had to use translator for everything and the exchange rate they use is much lower than any bank or any other hotel

Location to Guangzhou East rail terminal, ideal when coming thru from Hong Kong on high speed train, easy maneagable walk even with suitcase. Plenty of restaurants in local area to choose from. Metro system easy to use too.

Breakfast setup was not the best. Offered choice of 1-2-3 styles of breakfast, all just put on table. Not cooked fresh. Had issues with using Mastercard on Alipay, it declined 2 cards. Beware! Beds quite firm, but we survived.

Не первый раз останавливаю свой выбор на этом отеле, первое что хотелось бы отметить- это превосходное местоположение отеля, в пешей доступности метро, жд вокзал, Кантонская башня, торговые центры, масса кафе и ресторанов, второе- это чистота в номере и самом отеле, вкусные завтраки, на входе в отель расположен магазин первой необходимости, круглосуточно можно им воспользоваться, голодным не останешься 👍 Рекомендую остановиться в этом отеле!

Toilet not wasting

Bel hôtel avec de très belles chambres. Mais ce qui fait sa qualité, c'est le personnel : souriant, accueillant, agréable et efficace. De l'Accueil jusqu'au personnel du petit-déjeuner, en passant par le personnel d'entretien, toutes ces personnes ont été extrêmement sympathiques et professionnelles. On garde un très bon souvenir d'eux.

Le bruit ! Nous avons passé 4 nuits à ne pas dormir à cause du bruit. Et pourtant, en arrivant dans les chambres, et ne pas entendre un seul bruit de klaxon (contrairement aux autres hôtels dans lesquels nous avons logé) nous a fait dire : "serait-ce le meilleur hôtel de Chine ?". Et bien non, hélas, les bruits venaient de l'intérieur ! J'ai même cru à un moment donné qu'ils avaient installé la salle de sport au-dessus de nos chambres... Et le système de fermeture des portes qui claquent à chaque sortie des clients : infernal !

Location, cleanliness, welcoming staff and Japanese Restraunt

The hotel is located near the Guangzhou East train and metro station, just about 15 mins walk. Across the road is lined with restaurant which is very convenience for anyone filling hungry. Was upgraded to a suite. The room is room is a bit aged but generally clean and spacious with full toilet amenities. The bed is comfy. Connecting to the room WiFi is easy and considerably fast.

There is a knocking sound which we resolved by unplugging the mini fridge.

The smell of smoking in corridors.

The rooms were very large and comfortable. Alot of lighting and space with comformable chair and table. The rooms were Clean & well serviced daily.

The location of the hotel was good because it was central to move to other areas. Parking was a little tight.

The bed was excellent and big however the mattress was very hard. However, It maybe good for people suffering from back problems.

Quartier très animé à côté de la gare et d'un centre commercial. Petit déjeuner correct sans plus. Très grande chambre avec un lit XXL. Magnifique bâtiment d'époque, style anglo-saxon.

This hotel is very close to Guangzhou East Station, just a 5-minute walk away, and is convenient for daily life with many restaurants nearby. The rooms are very spacious and clean for the price, and the breakfast restaurant has a variety of menu options. In particular, the staff are very friendly and provide service worthy of a 5-star hotel. It is a hotel I would like to visit again.

There are many restaurants around the hotel, but most are traditional Chinese and there are no Western options. However, the Japanese restaurant inside the hotel is of very high quality.

Very good breakfast. Metro station is about 400-500 metres from this hotel. All was very good. Thank you very much for all staff of this hotel:)

De locatie was voor mij de belangrijkste reden om voor dit hotel te kiezen. Locatie is zo’n 5- à 10 minuten lopen vanaf het treinstation. En vanuit dit station kon ik de volgende morgen gemakkelijk per metro verder reizen naar het vliegveld. Daarbij is het ‘n nette kamer, met in de buurt volop restaurants.

I stayed here twice (3rd-4th Jan and 9th-10th Jan 2026). AND TWICE, the property double charged my card, transaction went through my card twice (not pending/not holding), funds were double-deducted from my bank balance (the double transaction had the same description, same CNY amount, same date and same merchant). Contacted property to rectify the issue but they kept insisting that they only charged once. I will be doing a merchant dispute with my bank. I have stayed with the hotel in 2024 and did not encounter this issue because my wife paid for the stay via WeChat pay.

The room is closer to the city center

The cleaner entering the room even though the no disturb sign is on, and simply adjusting the room for cleaning. The cleaner also knocking the door without thinking the customer need rest due to severe jetlag of 11 hrs travel even though the no disturb sign is on.

The breakfast was excellent, the omelette station was appreciated. Staff were extremely accommodating and helped me book taxi and recommended restaurants.

The helpfulness of all front desk staff around the clock. The respect for privacy. How they go the extra mile to use translation devices. The mattress was excellent but everything else about the bed and lightings was also great. They even provided umbrella in the room in addition to all the super high class hygiene materials and soaps.

Nice location, staff are very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to Eastern Guangzhou station where is available to take a fast speed train to Hongkong. Restaurants and shops around. Very comfortable room, clean and quiet. Amazing city!

Location - this is the only thing the hotel has going for it.

Food - paid for breakfast in my stay and only ate once. The food was terrible all the way through, no imagination, bland and limited options for a facility selling itself as hosting Canton Fair patrons - who in all likelihood would be from different corners of the world. Staff - unfriendly and inattentive, not service oriented at all. On check out we had had 6 suitcases and they literally watched my wife and I haul them one after the other from lift to counter, from counter to waiting area and then to taxi. Rooms - old and uncomfortable. Inaccurate description claiming a city view from our room while we had the immediate next building as our view - and it was not a pretty building. I am in the hospitality and service industry for 15 years now, and I can only think of one other place that I have stayed and was worse. In the absence of a refurbishment of the hotel my unsolicited advice would be: 1. Food - an easy fix with the right chef/food and beverage team training and creativity. Same ingredients and same portion costs can easily be maintained but just better done 2. Service training of the staff - these are the backbone of the hotel and at the moment are completely switched off. The above 2 can easily make up for a lot.
