Great staff, especially the breakfast staff!!
We specifically asked for a room refresh, even letting staff know at front desk to double check that and was confirmed it would be, came to room still un-made. I understand that it was a holiday weekend tho.
The free breakfast was good. The location was awesome, not far from lynx lake and Watson lake.
The bad was a little stiff, but not horrible.
The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was the best
The walk from the parking lot.
Quaint homey
Needs some work
The full breakfast was very good, and I enjoyed the view from the room.
The air conditioner unit was very noisy even after good-faith attempts to fix it. The fan ran constantly with intermittent buzzing. Since it was in the 80s and 90s during my stay, I had to keep the air conditioner on.
Location, value, free breakfast wine lists, cookies, friendly staff, the grounds. Coffee was good, too!
AC was a bit noisy
Location, staff, continental breakfast
In the room we stayed in, the walls were marked up with hand prints and just marked up. The one bed had a hollow middle and was not supportive. Ok
Breakfast was good selections and fresh. Tina, who managed the morning setup, prep, and service was delightful and friendly. The property is peaceful and relaxing. The young lady at the desk in afternoons was very friendly and helpful. We had a great stay!
Very pretty with crawling ivy and flower garden
Hotel is beautiful, live music, good breakfast, clean pool, garden, nice staff.
Carpet in the room was smelly, but next time I will ask for a room where no pets are allowed.
Location
All good
The breakfast was delicious. Great variety of food. Staff was very polite and quick to answer questions.
When we first arrived to the room. The tv remote didn't work. The shower drain got backed up. When I call the front desk no one answered. Parking was okay.
Location. Price.
Check in says 3. We had to wait 2 HOURS for our room. There were 4 other groups of people that were also waiting that long. Or longer (we were given our room first) No compensation or anything for our troubles. Offered 2 peligrinos (3 in our party) we declined.

Small complaint, but pillows were the most uncomfortable pillows we'd experienced at a hotel
Location was good. Breakfast was good.
Parents room; the handicap bar was off the wall in the bathroom beside the toilet and their microwave was missing.
Comfortable and inviting. Staff was lovely. Had everything we could have hoped for.
Good o look location. Everything was 15 minutes away.
A lovely little hotel located near shopping & many restaurants. The pool & hot tub were perfect after a long day playing softball. It’s located close (3 miles) to the charming town of Prescott, AZ where there are more restaurants, shops & lots of site-seeing opportunities.
One room was excellent . The pool.
The 2nd room I booked smelled of mold.
Very well decorated hotel, the breakfast was fantastic, the carpeting and furniture need to be replaced, I would stay there again if these items are done.
Carpet and furniture
Love the courtyard, the pool/firepits, and the food was great too!
All of the accessible rooms are furthest from the elevator which makes no sense to me.
Lautsprecher in Lobby knarzen leider. Einziger Schönheitsfehler.
no one there to start the fire pit and it was our anniversary. The woman at the desk was rude.
property was perfect
There was a big roach in the shower. Also the sheer window curtain had multiple red stains (blood) on it. The place was older in the inside. Balcony area was dirty too.
I recently stayed at Forest Villas Hotel in Prescott for a three-night birthday getaway (08/01-08/03/2026). Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider returning, but there were enough maintenance and housekeeping issues that I couldn't give it five stars. The highlights of this hotel are outstanding. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and has a warm, cozy atmosphere. The views from my balcony overlooking the Bradshaw Mountains were relaxing, and the outdoor courtyards, pool, wine bar, and lounge areas made it easy to unwind after a day of exploring Prescott. The complimentary breakfast each morning was delicious with a nice variety of choices, and the staff I interacted with were friendly. The bed was very comfortable, the furniture was perfectly adequate, and the peaceful setting made for a relaxing stay. Each day after exploring Prescott, I looked forward to returning to the hotel each evening and relaxing amongst the inside and outside outstanding grounds and great ambience.
There were, however, a few disappointments. The refrigerator in my room wasn't cooling properly. Since I brought pre-made frozen meals for my dog, the freezer wasn't keeping them frozen and the refrigerator section never seemed to reach a proper temperature, even after adjusting the controls. The lower door shelf on the refrigerator was also missing, making it impossible to store drinks or other items there. The room itself showed some wear. One of the patio chairs had a ripped seat, and the carpeting could use a deep cleaning or replacement. Before my arrival, I had requested that a microwave be placed in my room, but it was never delivered. Housekeeping also missed servicing my room on the second day, so I had to track someone down to exchange towels and freshen the room. Despite the issues I experienced, Forest Villas Hotel has a welcoming charm that makes it stand out. If management addresses some of the maintenance and housekeeping inconsistencies, this would easily be a five-star experience. As it stands, I would happily stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a comfortable, relaxing stay in Prescott.
The views from the room
This facility is very outdated and in need of a complete remodel
Absolutely Excellent!! All the way. Clean, fun and beautiful property. Nice people at the front desk. Lovely and fun guests as well. I spent time at the pool mingling with guests. So fun and friendly. Swam in the pool for quite a while. Before returning to my room. Enjoyed the balcony views before heading to a cozy Coooozy bed. Got up just In time before breakfast closed. I was initially thinking I bet there’s nothing left. But the food corner was still fully stocked. Families still getting bteakfast for their kids. Making waffles and piles of eggs and sausages and where still available. A sweet gentleman host to greet us “good morning” and checking in on all the hot And cold breakfast dishes. All while being serenaded by a young gentleman playing live piano for us. I’ve never had a piano breakfast! I chose to take my breakfast out the front door and eat on the beautiful garden out front. Surrounded by live grape vines and listening to the water of the fountain. Went back for seconds and again was cheerfully welcomed my the pianist. After breakfast I went to my room to tidy up and head to my job where I’m working as a set designer for Escape rooms in the PV Mall just a minute away. Check out was fast. And friendly and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience on my work-cation!
Perfect no notes
Absolutamente todo
Nice and tucked away with lots of open space and views. Older but very clean and comfortable.
No complaints
Classic old world resort-like atmosphere. Well maintained. Surprisingly good included breakfast.
Breakfast was great and location was excellent.
Everything met our expectations. We like the staff and the property.
Breakfast is good, location is very nice, overlooking the mountains
The pillows in room way too soft, not supportive or comfortable
Front desk people and every employee we saw were friendly and helpful!
The rain was so nice, but put a damper on our swimming, would have been nice to have an indoor pool!
Staff and overall experience is always amazing This was my third visit and certainly not the last. Many visitors I met there were also repeat visitors. I have and will continue to recommend the facility to others. We are in an age where customer service is in the past, so I it unexpected and a relief to find a place where the customer is treated with respect and a friendly smile. Thank you and keep up the good work
Very well done. Facilities are super not your typical chain operations Unique settings
Very hilly neighborhood. Tough to walk in.
The property is beautifully landscaped and the lobby looks like a high end resort, complete with grand piano. There is a nice fire pit, pool and jacuzzi. The beds are very comfortable (not too soft) and the balconies have a nice view.
The breakfast is not very good, similar to what you’d find at a quality inn motel. Eggs that don’t taste real, the standard potato cubes, unappealing sausage, muffins and a waffle machine. Also disappointed that there is no gym, and the accessibility chair for my disabled mom to use the pool was not working. The woman at the front desk who checked us in was surly and unfriendly, but the other staff are nice.
Super clean , friendly !
Everything was great.
Excellent breakfast. Private balcony.
Small room did not allow for comfortable seating.
We originally booked 2 nights but, because of the amazing customer service by Miss Pamela, and the rest of the front desk, kitchen and house keeping crew, we added one more night to our little vacation. The view from our room was a plus, we enjoyed the sunrise and had a beautiful undisturbed view through the night. The mini piano concerts, the peaceful atmosphere, the fire pits at night, the romantic garden made our stay extra special. We enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you very much. I will be back soon.
Pool was nice. Staff could have been more friendly but one tall guy that worked nonstop was so over the top nice so he made up for the front desk people. Great location. Pool was super peaceful and quiet.
Super outdated furnishings, breakfast was sub par, waffle iron out of commission, juice station out of order, no cereal, kitchen staff not helpful
Great location
Reserved 2 rooms and only 1 was ready by the time we got there. It was all ready 5’oclock and check in was at 3
Other properties might offer the same amenities, but Forest Villas excels at offering upscale ambiance. A grand room for breakfast, a glass of wine, a chat by the fireplace or a palm-sheltered spot to curl up with a book. A pool area sheltered by tall hedges, with areas of sun and shade for lounging. Gardens with space for picnics. Great views, peace and quiet, yet moments away from shopping and the historic Whiskey Row.
Location
The fact the rooms weren’t ready till almost 6 o’clock and they put a handicap person at the very end of the hall
The breakfast was excellent!
The staff was great. They were friendly and professional. The breakfast was awesome and they met my dietary needs. The place is beautiful.
Please, someone needs to clean the doors to the entrance. Hand prints on the white doors and windows. Also, the breakfast area, the counter where the juice machine is located needs cleaned.
breakfast most of the time
cleanliness of room
We stay at Forest Villas whenever we come to Prescott. Great staff and rooms clean, some of the rooms are in need of a facelift ie; furniture, carpet. We will continue to stay there for our frequent trips to Prescott!
Yes, the hotel is on the old side but, the room was clean and comfortable. All the staff were friendly and breakfast was good with lots of options. The pool and hot tub was wonderful.
The breakfast was exceptional! Way more options than expected and everything was of great quality!
Wonderful place to stay. The check in was easy. Bob at the front desk was always a pleasure to speak to. Beautiful property. Very relaxing with waterfalls and fountains. Clean rooms. All staff very friendly. Breakfast served extended hours. Good variety. The lobby is so inviting and nice to sit with friends. Beer and wine available for purchase. Definitely the place we will stay when returning!
The pool and jacuzzi were a plus!! The lobby is beautiful. Staff was friendly.
The carpet in our room was very old and stained. The rooms could use a little updating.
Great location
Slow front desk... No sense of urgency. Many upset guests the day we stayed. The most expensive room they have was filthy. There was food under the furniture, not vacuumed well at all.The spa tub had debris and funk in it, I decided not to partake. Even the Velveteen pillows on the bed looked like someone had gotten sick on it. The garbage was full and stuffed under the kitchenette sink. There was water in the hand soap dispenser, not soap. The complimentary fruit was old and withering. There was no coffee at the coffee station in the room and there were only 2 decaf pods way back in a drawer. No sugar, sweetener or creamer that is usually there. If you want me to keep paying the higher price for this room, get the standards back to what they were a year ago and before that. Things have been left to the wayside for too long....DO BETTER
We love the cozy cute common areas , the rooms are clean and comfortable, we love the pool and spa ! We also love The fountain and garden area ! It’s our new fav place to stay in Prescott .
The hotel is very pretty and unique. We felt like we were in Europe! The decor is lovely with huge plants, really nice tables and chairs, carpet and other decor that made it feel homey but also luxurious.
The sound system is awful and desperately needs updating! Additionally, the staff were frequently overhead complaining about some aspect of their job. We totally get it but just think they should be aware that their guests can hear them.
no comfortable chair in room
We found the hotel to be very classy and and cozy. All of the staff members we interacted with were kind and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. Great breakfast. We also love the stairs!
This is a lovely property in a great location! The gentleman who checked me in was genuinely nice and very friendly. And while the hotel has a little "older" feel, it was really lovely, comfortable and very clean. I will definitely stay here again when I am in Prescott!
I didn't get to stay long enough! This was a very quick business trip. I checked in late, then checked out super early. When I saw my cute little deck looking at the ivy covered walls and bouganvellia blossoms, I was sad I couldn't enjoy a cup of coffee and breakfast out on my deck! I can't wait to come back.
Lovely grounds, pool was delightful!
Excellent accommodations. Very good breakfast. Courtesy EV charger.
Nothing.
The hospitality was exceptional.
The room appeared to have a scent in the ac unit that I didn’t enjoy.
El dormitorio súper bonito
I've stayed at Forest Villas in Prescott for business, and have always had a wonderful experience. The hotel has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel comfortable. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers stunning views of the surrounding area. The staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. From check-in to check-out, everyone I encountered made me feel valued as a guest. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, making it easy to relax after a long day. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and the overall charm of the property, which feels much more personal than a typical chain hotel. The location is also excellent—close enough to enjoy everything Prescott has to offer while still providing a peaceful retreat. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, I would highly recommend Forest Villas. I'll definitely be staying here again on future trips to Prescott.
The bed was comfortable and the shower was modern and enjoyable. Nice hot water, also, the balcony was a nice amenity
The hotel is very dated, the staff was a bit complacent and the room smelled like an old folks home. I had to leave the windows and doors open to let the smell out so I could sleep
The hotel itself was gorgeous, the jacuzzi room was fantastic and really clean, and the pool was amazing. They even had breakfast included that was really good! .
Only thing I didn't absolutely love was the bed, it was a bit hard for my personal preference
The staff was very kind. It's a short way from Sedona. Breakfast in the morning is great.
The plugs in my room didn't work very well.
It is a clean very relaxing place to stay. Staff is very friendly. Specially Bob has been very helpfull on the reservation and other help. It has a nice outdoor pool and a jacuzi. Safe parking is available for your car.
Location was great, nice large rooms
Carpets were dirty
Room was adequate, beautiful lobby, breakfast was very good.
Elevator not working, which I had to carry all my heavy luggage on the second floor.
We stayed for a few days in May. The location was convenient, close to downtown and several dining options. Overall, the hotel was nice, and we especially enjoyed the large sitting area on the first floor. The room was adequate, but the bed was uncomfortable, and housekeeping did not clean the room or make the bed during our stay. We finally requested service on the third day because we needed fresh towels. The hotel was quiet overall, aside from the occasional dogs barking in the lobby. When we asked for service, the staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was good, and the staff in the breakfast room were outstanding. However, the lobby sitting area had clearly not been vacuumed for some time, and visible dirt and debris remained there all week. The outdoor area near the fire pits was also very dirty. In addition, the outdoor fountain was not working as shown in the photos, which was disappointing because I had hoped it would be a nice spot for pictures.
Good location.
Pet friendly but damaged furniture and carpet rooms. $50 non-refundable pet fee!
Elegant
Room had not been thoroughly cleaned stuff left in there
Great lobby
The pool and breakfast were great
Room wasn't ready when we got there at check-in time. The staff tried to be nice about it but were not professional in their telling about it.
It was a great location
The staff was rude, asked for a king room, the gave me 2 queen, asked for early check in, 1:30 to 2:00. They kept checking in people and just let me sit there. They could have done better and getting me a room.
Everything was great except the chairs in our room. Seating was not comfortable at all
Chairs in the room
Great place
I've stayed at Forest Villa's before and loved the room. I like the easy access from the main road and the complimentary breakfast is always a hit.
It was very exciting visiting Prescott for the first time and rolling up to the Forrest Villas Hotel. The hotel has an excellent location and attractive Mediterranean architecture. The staff was very professional and friendly. We were assigned a 2FL room facing east, and looking down on the valley. The sunrises were gorgeous. I couldn’t have picked a better room. The pool, jacuzzi and fountains added to the experience. The breakfasts were perfect. The bathrooms are set back from the bedroom area which is how hotels should be. The bed was very comfortable. My wife and I are pleased with the choice of the hotel, it’s much better than the rectangular box hotels next to a car wash. :) We plan on visiting again.
I loved everything about Forest Villas and our little getaway was perfect ! Will definitely be back !
The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly! The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the room was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay again!
Na
Breakfast was nice. Room was not cramped.
Asked for a quiet room, got one facing the main road. Very low water pressure. TV channel choices were very basic.
The staff was very kind and friendly although they did lock us out of our room one night because they thought we had checked out. We still had one more night to go. It was centrally located to everything we wanted to do and see.
The property is older and could do with a little makeover.
We absolutely loved this resort. If we're in the area again we are staying there. It was beautiful, the price was right, and the staff were delightful. Our room was clean, we had a slightly larger mini refrigerater in the room with a small freezer section. The bed was comfortable - all was terrific!!
Very clean classy and friendly staff. Good breakfast very comfortable surroundings and grounds.
Nothing liked it all!
Spoke w/Bob (who represented himself as a manager) asking for an earlier check-in. He stated there were no clean rooms at that moment, 12n. He said they would have one cleaned and call me. NO call received. We checked in @ 430p! Disappointing to have this property represented by such. On a positive note, the woman who did check us in was apologetic and professional.
Location, spacious room, price
Staff seemed burnt out & tired
Very pleasant. Great location. Very good selection for breakfast. Staff was professional and quite helpful.
In the breakfast dining area we overheard 2 staff members discussing tasks left undone by another staff member.
Clean room, nice view and great cookies when you arrive
nothing
Breakfast was great, lots of nice options. Really liked staff especially Lady, AKA "Freckles"!!
Everything was great but maybe a better view next tjme.
Intimate
Parking
Cute location and atmosphere. Loved the feel of the lobby and grounds. Staff was very friendly.
The room felt out dated and worn. Smelled odd and the bed was very uncomfortable. Unless you like a very firm mattress I wouldn't recommend.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool and hot tub were great. The setting with the plants and shrubbery was beautiful and welcoming. The lobby reminded me of a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was good. The room was spacious with a lovely balcony. The bed was comfortble but the pillow was a little too firm for me. Overall a wonderful experience. I would stay there again.
Tout
Rien
Two hours before we arrived we were called and our room was cancelled. Talked to Sue and she would hold us a room. The mother of the bride called and we did actually have a reservation. Checked in and the coffee pot was full of coffee and grounds still in the coffee pot. Bath tub didn’t seal room 241. Next day I get a call why didn’t you check into your room? I was in the midst of catering a wedding. On the drive back to the hotel to change I told my husband to drop me off at the front desk and I meet him at the room. I walk in and the staff recognized me which I think is great, but I said what the heck you checked us in to 241 last night and now we’re getting calls asking why we didn’t check in. Well, you were supposed to be in room 200! You want that room, we had to rush to change room in the midst of the fix it people in our old room as we moved to our new room that was 4x the size as the night before! There was NO adjustment in the room rate or the inconvenience of the room. The hotel is beautiful, the poisonous bug on the floor not so fun. We fell in love with Prescott but don’t know if we will return to your hotel!
