Comfort Inn Ballston

All good

Nothing

Frühstück hat mir nicht gefallen. Es gab kaum Auswahl.

clean and friendly staff

missing fridge in the room

Location was good great parking that was included in price and breakfast was good.

The entryway light for our room dis not work.

The location

The breakfast was not good

staff was nice

no water in bathtub ; hotel and booking.com lost our reservation; checkin was 50 minutes trying to get ahold of booking.com twice. The hotel did not have payments either from booking.com

Location was convenient. Staff was very nice and helpful. Restaurants are within walking distance.

Cleanliness

Gutes Frühstücksbuffet

Zimmer sehr weit vom Aufzug entfernt, viel Lauferei

The location of the hotel is great, having easy access to highway and tourist spot by car

There is not a lot of variety of food for breakfast

Covered parking

Location was a little bit farther from where I wanted to be as far as walking

Breakfast was as eexpected in a 3 star hotel with 2 hot items, scrambled egg and sausage links. The bathroom sink was draining when checked in, informed the front deask and someone cleared the clog with a thin wire. But the drain got clogged again the net morning. Should have been fixed orrectly the first instance. The room cleanelness was average as expected for a 3 star hotel

Cannot have a clogged drain in the sink.

Very clean, quiet, free parking, very spacious, friendly staff.

No laundry on site.

Very nice breakfast. Close to the metro. Shuttle bus runs on the hour.

When we came to a late check in there was no one at the desk. Phone rang repeatedly and no one answered. Another family arrived and still no one to check us in. Called corporate. Finally someone showed up. The rest of the time someone was always available.

Nothing

Everything. Bathroom toilet flush not working, hotel staff didn't fix it. Bathroom sink faucet water running very slow almost like few drops.

Clean with a privileged location

Rooms are a little bit old

Parking gratuit

tv

Really good for the price.

The free parking and the room

Lobby and elevator look 80' . It is tome for a renovation

Duzy pokoj i darmowy parking

Niezbyt nowy i niezbyt czysty. Sniadania i kawa okropne. Nic do zjedzenia.Kawa podlej jakosci

Comfortable beds, clean, good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. A bit of a walk to the metro, but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel. Free parking onsite.

Housekeeping staff seemed to loiter in the hallways on their phones a lot. Sleeper sofa had a broken bracket which made it difficult to use.

Location

The attention is excellent. The Hotel is clean. The best perk for us is the has breakfast included and free parking

This is the 3er consecutive year that we stay in the hotel at the same time of the year and it was more expensive than before but I think it is the economy of this time. Still worthy to pay for the service provided

Very clean and spacious rooms. Comfortable and clean beds. Very friendly and professional staff. Excellent location, close to everything you may need. Quiet area. Very good value for the level of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is a bit old and dated

La posizione

Struttura vecchia

Sounded like guests in the room beside mine were trying to open the connecting door my first night there. This happened twice. It woke me up the second time and I had trouble going back to sleep. It was a little scary. The door appeared to be tripple locked. There was no repeat after that night. I didn't report it.

It was a little scary. The door appeared to be tripple locked. There was no repeat after that night. I didn't report it. Fruits were not put out for breakfast 2 consecutive days. I would like a wider variety of breakfast options.

The room was large and spacious for the entire family. The staff was kind. The location was great!

The room is clean and nice for the price. The breakfast is decent and it is included in the room fee which is great. The location is 12 minutes walk to the Ballston train station

I saw on the website that there was free shuttle service but I did not see any brochure or guidances on how customers can access the free shuttle. I hope next time when I come, there will be more information about how to use the service

A hely lokaciója jó, könnyen megközelíthető.

breakfast is okay. room is a little bit old but clean. Overall I am happy with it.

Buen trato muy amables

Value for money, very clean and spacious, good breakfast spread

Cute and clean hotel in a very good location

The room was very spacious, quiet, and clean. It's an older hotel but well maintained. Our room (220) faced the courtyard which is the parking lot. So there was no road noise and it was very quiet. The beds were comfortable with nice bedding and ample pillows. The air conditioner was quiet and worked well. The bathroom plumbing is a little old. You have to pull out hard on the tub faucet to turn the water on, then twist to adjust the temperature. The hotel provides a shuttle bus to the Ballston metro station every hour on the hour. I don't know how late it runs but we took the shuttle to the metro at 7:00 am and caught the shuttle on our return to the hotel at 7:10 pm. One thing to know is that the shuttle driver drops you off around the corner from the metro station. You have to turn right and walk a little ways to find the station. Breakfast was adequate, eggs and sausage, waffles, etc. It was easy to get back on I66 when we drove out. We would stay here again.

We opted to stay in Arlington/Ballston to avoid the high DC hotel prices while touring Washington. One of the amenities we found useful was the free shuttle to the close-by Metro station for an easy ride into Washington. It leaves the hotel on the hour from early morning until evening, but is not available after 10 pm for return to the hotel. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable and quiet for being on a busy street. We had no issues, and the front desk reception was easy and helpful. The hot breakfast with a fair selection of options was a great start to the day. Parking is free in a covered adjacent garage. All in all we were very pleased.

The staff were fantastic! I loved the check in guy at night, super friendly!

The parking lot. A bit tight and the shape of the building plus shared space with avis made parking just a tad interesting.

Simpatia dos empregados.

nada em especial

The beds were comfortable.

The refrigerator was missing when we arrived. They did get us a refrigerator, but not for several hours by which time our food was spoiled. The toilet didn't work properly. The water tank would not fill making it possible to flush the toilet. The ironing board was broken and wouldn't stay up, making it useless.

It was nice and quiet. The beds are really comfortable

The check-in process was a little rough and my tub was not clean all the way

Good location

The room was clean and spacious, with all the necessary amenities. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. The hotel is conveniently located near the metro, and you can reach downtown Washington in about 15 minutes.

The breakfast could have been more varied

Breakfast was good even better with bacon days! :D Shuttle to the metro at the top of every hour. They even let us check in at 9am!.

The staff was very helpful and friendly!

I wish there was a pool!

Staff was amazing

Bathroom could use some paint

Free parking

Staff not helpful. You have to ask 3 times for smth basic as soap for room over 2 days. Breakfast poor and ends too early.

Location , close to metro and there was a shuttle service . Also close to restaurants and shopping. Very nice area of Washington. Breakfast was decent.

Dated building ,definitely not a four star, probably a two star. The rooms were clean but the mattress were uncomfortable and no water pressure from the sink .

Beds were comfy and air conditioning worked. Good parking facilities. We found that some staff were friendly & some were not!

No soap in bathroom and when we asked for some it was like we were asking them to donate a kidney! breakfast was ok but not great and they turned the lights out at 9.30am which is pretty early given most people in there was tourists who would have slept in. location is ok but by the time you get Ubers to reduce travelling time /or travelling late at night i think i’d next time stay a lot closer to the city. It also felt far away from convenience shops that operated outside of office hours.

Nice client service and reception associates; very good and varied breakfast; nice room and comfortable bed. Nearby metro allowed us to do tourism in DC.

Our son got some bites of bugs that can potentially be from the mattress. Please check.

Staff were nice, very good access to the metro and downtown

Nothing

Good Location

We paid to booking 219$ for the night while on the arrival day the price was 167$. The stuff tried to change but because we ordered through booking there was nothing they could do

The location was great! Free breakfast from 6a-930a.

Very small room for the price I paid.

The main advantages of this hotel are its convenient location and the friendly, helpful front desk staff.

The main concern is that the price is too high considering the hotel’s overall condition. The property is old, and the rooms are small and cramped. The carpet is old and feel worn with stains, and needs to be replaced, as cleaning it is no longer sufficient. Most rooms overlook the parking lot, and the rooms themselves feel dull and uncomfortable for an extended stay. In addition, the breakfast offers only a limited selection, and there are no guest laundry facilities or washing machines available.

Good breakfast.

Parking hard to navigate

The location made herring around the city by walking, driving and public transportation easy.

Getting into the parking area was okay, but it was different than I expected.

Shuttle Service & Very Nice Staff

Great location and excellent value for the convenience of being right outside of DC. Complementary parking. Hot breakfast. Neighborhood awesome for restaurants etc.

I struggle to name something, but there could have been some sausage, bacon or other meat selection at breakfast. No Orange juice either.

Wszystko w porządku. Polecam. Spędziliśmy tam 2 noce w dwie pary. Śniadania dobre, hotel czysty. Super miejsce jako baza do zwiedzania Waszyngtonu.

Location

Upkeep of the rooms

Staff were very friendly and attentive to the customers needs. It was close to my office and the rooms were very spacious and clean.

Does not have a swimming pool.

Breakfast service, though we could not classify it as gourmet, was clean, prompt, and nourishing. Seating was a bit crowded, but not unpleasant. Coffee was hot, and tasted good.

Toaster only toasted bread on one side, and was slow. Scrambled eggs were somewhat overdone, but certainly edible.

better selection for breakfast. Not everyone eats pork.

The room is clean and location is close to metro station.

Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff

It was a nice big room but not as good as the one I had last week

There was an iron but no ironing board. There was not "Don't Disturb sign" . The water pressure was low both at the sink and in the shower. The AC was set very low. The room I had the week before was better.

Location and cleanliness

I wish I knew the high-speed internet would be so very bad because I planned to work at the hotel and I couldn’t, which caused me a lot of stress. The upload is 10mbps at best and often it was lower than 2mbps, which doesn’t allow for anything except messaging. The front desk staff tried to help but the IT department informed me that’s the max available and I can’t upgrade, although I offered to pay for a faster connection. I stay at hotels often and even motels have better internet than this, it was unnecessary stress for me and I would definitely not recommend.

lighting in bathroom not bright enough Also light connected to fan too noisy

Comfort Inn seems to have increased their room prices. Although it meets my needs, it now seems overpriced for a hotel of this level.
