Hotel bardzo dobrze położony jeżeli chcesz zwiedzać Waszyngton, kilka kroków do linii metra (30 minut metrem). Pokoje bardzo przestronne, śniadania bardzo dobre. Basen i siłownia w dobrym standardzie. Ogromny plus za obsługę na recepcji, pomimo wcześniejszego przyjazdu otrzymaliśmy pokój (co prawda miał być z widokiem na miasto).

Booking.com nie sprawdził się w temacie rezerwacji śniadania nie były uwzględnione w pobycie pomimo rezerwacji, oraz rezerwacja była dla 3 osób dorosłych a otrzymaliśmy bony dla 2 osób.

Room not cleaned for three day. Had to call for service

Used to be a nice Hotel. Opened next door to my condo 2005/6. Then the wear and tear of the neighborhood set in. During Covid The GM Justin was a gem. After that the service changed and the Starbucks' leather seats are tarsh. Restaurant is nice and able to accomodate both local and out of town guests. There is a back tacky outdoor arae with a TV that faces and alleyway. I have worked in Hospitality since I was 21 off & on.This Westin and it's management company is not what Westin used to be. Check out the one in Alexandria City or Crystal City.If not go into the City.

Clean convenient quiet comfortable

The waiter at the restaurant was a little attitudish , he was mad that we wanted plastic wear for breakfast, everyone doesn’t eat from silverware unless it’s their own.

Arrived at the hotel mid afternoon and checked in fairly swiftly and efficiently by the friendly reception staff . On my way to the elevator there was a pleasant aroma in the lobby. Parts of the hotel are undergoing renovation which was evident in the corridor to my room but to be honest during my stay I was not disturbed by any noise although the sound proofing on the windows could be better as traffic can sometimes be heard .Room was clean , bathroom / shower area was clean .Bed was very comfortable, air conditioning was effective as it was quite hot during my stay. Bath / shower was pleasant, good pressure, bath floor could be a bit more non slip, maybe a rubber mat would help WiFi signal was very good . Had a drink /snack in the bar and also had breakfast . Bar and breakfast staff very friendly, provided great service.Some shops and mall nearby. Target across the street. Forgot my toothbrush, front desk gave me a replacement. Unfortunately I left an item of clothing in my room 1432 not sure if I can get it back ! Nice hotel good location, friendly genuine staff who make you feel welcome .

Worst hotel in the area. Gym equipment was dirty and the room is small and HOT! Carpet is filthy, horrible pillows with no other options, mold on the bathroom. Absolutely avoid staying here.

Be advised that if staying at this hotel and you are likely to need to use a hairdryer, check on arriving at your room that there is one. Not only is the item likely not to be there but if it is, it may not work. We were in one of several rooms where this was the case. We requested that housekeeping supply one but made the mistake of not checking it worked, it didn't. The 15 minute delay in a working hairdryer arriving seriously effected our departure to the event we were staying for. Also if you use an Apple watch or iPad do not use the outlet on the table lamps for your charger. The angled base results in the charged slipping and not charging. See photo.

We stayed here two weekends in a row for events and the service and atmosphere is always 5 star service. The area is great as well for any entertainment or night out with your partner.

I highly recommend this hotel for private/semi-private events. I attended a friend’s milestone birthday party there. They hosted a pizza making class and cocktail/mocktail class for our group. It was such a creative & fun event. The staff were wonderful. The service was excellent and their attention to every detail made this celebration perfect. The space is beautiful. Open, elegant, with huge windows. I flew into town for this event. Posted pictures and my friends back home were envious. Highly recommend it.

Amazing experience for a friend’s milestone birthday celebration. The artisan pizza and cocktail making was fun and delicious. Staff were attentive and made our evening seamless and better than expected. Kudos to a stellar management and operations team. We will be coming back!

My family and I stayed at this hotel for a few nights and really enjoyed our stay.The staff was friendly and check-in was quick,with helpful tips for nearby restaurants and attractions.Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable,with a nice view and a tidy bathroom.The kids loved the pool,and the breakfast buffet had enough variety for everyone.The location was convenient,close to shops and family friendly attractions. Overall,our stay was comfortable and enjoyable,and we would stay there again.And the hotel manager was fun to talk to and very very welcoming

Celebrated my stepdaughter’s sweet 16 this past weekend at the Westin and I just have to say how accommodating all the hotel staff was! We had some travel issues gettint to our check-In time and the experience at the hotel really made up our whole trip! Multiple levels of the staff went out of their way to make sure our group (2 rooms) was comfortable and had a great weekend staff. Breakfast at the hotel was really good by the way and I constantly saw the Commentary restaurant filled with people throughout the weekend, which made me want to come back. Even the hotel manager or GM made a point to follow up with our group to make sure we were being taken care of… you can tell their staff is trained well. Thanks so much Westin

This is my go-to getaway hotel for a staycation. The location is perfect for a relaxing stay with a beautiful view of the city (pictured below day and night views from different rooms). The atmosphere is calm and safe for a solo traveler. Many walkable shops & food places on a beautiful day. The restaurant in the hotel is DELICIOUS. You can’t go wrong with breakfast buffet or the dinner menu options. The Starbucks is also perfectly convenient when I’m headed out in the morning and need a pick-me-up. Rooms are ALWAYS clean and staff is welcoming, attentive, and professional. Great price point for the experience, location and amenities included.

Our extended family arranged to have an annual event at this hotel, and people came from all over the country for a weekend. The hotel itself is pleasant and more than adequate in many ways, and the Front Desk staff is exceptional and honest and helpful. Unfortunately however, the hotel uses what it calls it's "signature scent" to perfume what appears to be almost the whole hotel, including the entry area and certainly the bedroom we were assigned to stay in. Like many other people, I have a kind of asthmatic reaction to volatile organic compounds, like those found in aerosol and systemic scents. I could not stay in the hotel that night, and found a family member in the city to stay with. We found another hotel, and had no problems. The family dinner we planned for some 40 to 50 people was great because of who was there, but the food was very, very poor and there was essentially no service, and the dishes that had been arranged for in advance had not actually been jprepared by the kitchen. The meal was also extremely expensive, but what we got was something like a salad bar with a piece of extraordinarily salty chicken. I cannot recommend that anyone host an event at this hotel, until it undergoes a very major change in management and operational organization. I read a review last week that was written sometime ago by someone else who had an event at the hotel who worn that we should never do that, but I thought it was just some loose cannon, maybe. It wasn't. Do not plan on a big family event at this hotel. The people in the hotel are lovely, but sometimes that's not enough.

Loved the location and the hotel was beautiful.

The parking garage was a little bit of an issue. A tad confusing and we didn’t get help there when we needed it. One of the gates wouldn’t lift for us to get out. And we couldn’t get help. That was the only drawback.

Just about everything to do with this hotel was slightly off. The front desk person forgot to give us the WiFi details upon check in. When we called the front desk, someone answered, said they would get it to us, then one of their colleagues immediately talked over them. Stayed in Room 612: the door had an issue with the deadbolt resulting in us having to close it several times in order to lock properly. Also, one of the 2 beds in our room was not in good shape with one side caved in. Staff at the Commentary had issues with taking food orders, and some of our items were overcooks. Also, a breakfast with no orange juice!?!? The pool is nice, though the hot tub is apparently out of service? There were caution signs and the lifeguard said the “water was cold”.?? To add insult to injury, upon checkout, the front desk both did not send an email receipt like they said they would have AND RAN MY CREDIT CARD AGAIN for a room charge that had already been paid. PLEASE DO BETTER!

friendly warm atmosphere and staff. Location perfect. Stayed many times, consistant. We feel at home.

Pros: Clean common areas. Clean rooms. Extremely nice staff. Comfortable beds. Lots of eateries, shopping and entertainment nearby. Free breakfast buffet with real food and not just donuts. Beautiful dining area and bar inside hotel. Had issues with heating and they came in less than 5 min to fix. While under repair we got a space heater that definitely kept us toasty for a good nap before departing. Cons: $40 for parking is insane. Got turned around and confused in parking garage and it’s easy to end up in another building if you take the wrong elevator. Tips: If you don’t like city driving like me, take ride shares to your destinations instead of paying for parking at the malls etc.. Visit Pentagon city mall and Ballston mall. Eat and game at Punch Bowl Social. Enjoy family fun at Immersion gamebox.

Received free parking, thanks to Mohammed. Received free breakfast vouchers after room door would not open. Maintenance arrived quickly to resolve the problem. Loved the daily vouchers for the Market place.

Originally being told that parking was an additional $40 per night even for hotel guests. Mohammed was kind enough to give us free vochers for parking.

I had to stay in a co-worker's room because the staff told me that my room was not paid for and they wanted me to pay them for the room after I told them I had already paid Booking.com. They said that Booking.com never sent them the payment.

I did not like the fact that Booking.com did not send the hotel the payment. I checked my account and saw that we had paid Booking.com so I do not understand why Booking.com did not send the payment to the hotel.

The Manager (Martha) at The Commentary took the time to walk down the street to get the cupcakes I had ordered for my daughter's birthday while she was visiting DC on her school field trip. Not only did she deliver them to the chaperone's room, but Martha also decorated! Her extra kindness and support made this trip a once-in-a-lifetime experience of memories! Martha E deserves recognition and a STARS acknowledgement from the management team!

No hot water for 2 days, gym extremely hot (thermostat was broken), peloton bikes didn’t work, mold in the bathroom, no housekeeping for 2 days even after contacting the front desk, extremely uncomfortable pillows with no other options (bought pillows at Target to sleep), and the carpets are filthy.

The beds are very comfortable and the duvet is very nice. Amongst the best sleep of any hotel I have stayed recently. The rooms are clean and sufficiently spacious. However, on the first day there was no warm water in the morning and the heater in the room would not heat the room above 69F, regardless of setting. Given the sub-30F temperature outside, it was cold. I understand the breakfast is offered by an outside provider in the restaurant and is outside Marriott's control. The breakfast was a bit scarce and the quality certainly lower than what I would get at the Residence Inn I generally stay at. Lastly, a destination fee is a pet peeve of mine, especially given that I am traveling on business. This is not a resort hotel.

Hotel is really good. Rooms are typical business hotel rooms - so all good. Staff was very nice and helpful (helped me with receiving things from amazon, helped with late checkout etc.). Also, the gym is actually quite good, also the indoor pool.

there is no shower in the pool room, so you need to shower at the gym and then walk (with your wet swimming clothes) to the pool. everything else was really good.

We attended a wedding and stayed at hotel. The lobby, restaurant, pool and gym is good. The rooms do not deserve Marriott’s name. Our A/C set at 70 deg F did not cool at all. The air blower start/stop and stayed very loud. The fan speed control did not work, stayed at high speed. The closet door extremely heavy to move. Two complains of A/C and said repair did nothing, don’t believe any attempt to repair was made. We were offered another room, impractical to repack and unpack. Other people in the group reported similar and other issues. Check A/C, heat and bathroom fixtures before unpacking.

I stay last weekend at the western Arlington on Saturday afternoon novmber 15,2025 I check in hotel at 3;25P.M. that afternoon that day the ladies check in hotel right away gave 2 room key she said go up to room on high floor on 11th floor she said king size room nice and big nize size room the work out room was good to excellent the pool was good only me in pool I do lap nize size pool petty big nize size pool the lifeguard ladies was nice she pool attendant and p to me no problems at all at pool with her she was nice and very p she was nice the brastfast was good to excellent and sever was good and waiter was nice and p he help out get dish my table and p to me no ploblems at all brastfast was good to excellent so stay at hotel for weekend from 2nights@2days check in hotel Saturday November 15 to monday to November 17,2025 so check out November 17,2025 so left room at 1;15P.M. I had multiple problems with their electronic keys, both the cards and the app. The app worked only in certain elevators, and only if the front of the phone was facing back instead of front and a certain orientation. It got frustrating enough that I ended up using a card. We were graciously given the ability to check out at 3 PM but after noon, the app and the card stopped working. I was told at 3 PM when I checked out I should have gotten the cards an app key extended separately. I told them that they needed to have made it worked until we checked out and they told me they had to follow a process. My response was they should change the process.

Terrible customer service. Unauthorized and unwarranted $500 smoking charge on my corporate credit card (never smoked a day in my life). Reached out to the hotel management multiple times and they wouldn't even return my inquiries, but through corporate said they wouldn't reverse the charge. Absolute scam. I stay at Marriott properties all the time and have never had an issue until staying here. Will never return.

“Lydia’s Warm Welcome Made Our Stay Unforgettable!” Lydia in the restaurant was absolutely amazing! She was exceptional—so sweet, genuine, and welcoming every time we visited. You can tell she truly loves her job and takes pride in making every guest feel special. The entire restaurant staff was fantastic, and the evening bartender deserves special mention as well—he never forgot our preferred drinks and had an incredible depth of knowledge to share. Our room was comfortable, spotless, and had all the amenities needed for a fabulous stay. Every team member we interacted with was friendly and professional. Stayed for a family wedding- the location was perfect, the room was clean and roomy, the staff was very polite and accommodating.

It’s not every day you meet someone who makes you feel like family while providing excellent service. She truly went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. We stayed at the Arlington Westin for a wedding and the front desk in particular Jalin was fantastic. He was helpful throughout our stay and just made it a wonderful experience. He deserves a bonus for his customer service skills!

An amazing experience was had with this hotel. While having breakfast, Lydia was such sweetheart by getting me their best tea, honey, lemon...the works after noticing I had a bit if a sore throat. Pleasant stay and amazing staff in the commissary/restaurant. Definitely recommend 15/10.

Everything was good except the parking fee of $34/night was ridiculous and it appears like the hotel is trying to make it up for its reasonably priced nightly rate! And the parking was mostly empty for my entire 1-week stay

Was charged $500 for a smoking detection. I have never smoked and raised holy hell. Been staying here for years, several times a year. ..never a problem. Not sure if this is a scam via the management team, or whatever. Never returned phone calls, etc. Got a full refund in one week. Pretty sure will never stay here again. A very unsettling situation. Liked this hotel before this. I wonder if the folks smoking weed there at every stay will get charged as well. Very shady.

Bathroom shower was dirty, looks like it wasn’t scrubbed in weeks. I informed the front desk guy and there was no solution. All of the ceilings were messed up especially in the pool area. Pool water was clean but pool area was dirty and no towels readily accessible by your chair.

A great hotel! Impeccably clean with great amenities and very convenient to Metro and shops. The front desk staff was so friendly and very helpful. Nice gym, too! Carpets and color scheme were a little dated, but no big deal. I was grateful for the recycling bins around the property and in the room, but I'd like to see an eco-friendly plan for towel usage. Most hotels aim to conserve water by only replacing towels that guests leave for laundry service vs. changing out towels every day. Other than that, great property, and I'd happily stay here again.

Nice hotel this is my third time staying always a nice hotel the staff Mag was the greeter very nice. Only thing we did not have body wash in the bathroom. I did let them know I was three the next day. Also was not told about the extra $25 had to pay till the bill came. Not cool

Getting an invoice from property is like pulling teeth. Emails unanswered, phone calls un-picked up, wrong documents sent. Awful. Business travelers who care about things like reimbursement, etc - stay away. And I am a Bonvoy member!

We liked the the king size and it was clean enough, but we wished it included a microwave along with the mini fridge. It was more than adequate for our one night stay even if some of the usual Marriott fare was missing. For the price I would have expected free parking ($40/day) or at least a breakfast $200 a night. City View should be more than a view of the street and cafeterias of the offices buildings in the area.
