The JW is also a good experience. Luis was especially kind and helpful. It was a hot a day and he made sure to offer me the hotel shuttle. He drove me to the destination and picked me up with little wait time.

Luis was so genuine he saw me and my fiancé walking across the parking lot to cross over to the mall and he immediately flagged us down since my fiancé was limping due to his knee injury! The service was truly impactful knowing humanity still exists in people’s hearts and people like Luis are still here to take care of us!

I spent two nights at the hotel and found the room, gym and other amenities to be above average. I am a faithful Bonvoy guest whenever I travel, which is often. Two issues, however. I was on the 12th floor and noticed one of the guests left unfinished takeout food outside their door. That food remained for over 24 hours. Second, the shower water had a funky smell after a few minutes of running. The next day after checkout, my skin started to uncharacteristically breakout in acne (i'm 59), and rashes, as well as peeling skin. Something was definitely up with the water. Hopefully just a fluke, but I travel to Houston often and won't be staying in this property again.

Lovely stay at the JW. Checking in was easy and the staff were great! Michael and Luis with valet always greeted us and checked in to make sure everything was going well and if we needed anything. The lounge was always clean and comfortable. Enjoyed using the pool and gym daily. Even though it's by the Galleria, the hotel is tucked away so it's quiet. Lovely stay. I would stay here again.

The car service provided by JW Marriott is excellent perk! Luis provides superb customer service going above and beyond on our drives to the office.

Our excellent stay began with a wonderful greeting outside upon arrival, and ended with much hospitality from the valet service at the time of checkout. (Thank you Luis) We had previously stayed at this hotel and this time I found the service, aside from the bar visit, to be five star in all areas. Our room was very clean and in good condition as well.

Best hotel I’ve been to in a looong time! Cafe was amazing, so much so that I plan on getting another iced latte before I leave later today. Breakfast buffet was great — everything tasty, lots of choices, and an omelet station. My server Grabiel was great, very kind and attentive, and the hostess Andrea was lovely as well. Will try to come back to this hotel soon. :)

Adrian was sweet to drive us to the mall one evening and Luis drove us to a breakfast restaurant. They both did an amazing job. Luis brought an umbrella to the door of the restaurant because it was raining super hard. Amazing customer service. I highly recommend.

We were in Houston while my husband attended a conference. Kids and I enjoyed the pool and loved having the Galleria right across the street! Staff were so friendly. Special shout out to the valet staff—Luis is a gem!

Luis the valet/shuttle driver is so sweet and wonderful. He takes great care of the guests. They offer a shuttle to take you anywhere within 2 miles of the hotel it’s awesome! Also the coffee shop is great!!

The air conditioner was not working very hot in the room was very uncomfortable for the price I paid I should of been very comfortable. I also was moved twice my room keys didn’t work I was not very happy with the money I paid!

Really comfortable and calm place to stay. Rooms are lovely and the entire team is so helpful and friendly. It makes the travel for work much more enjoyable. Particularly Martha Q who really made me feel welcome. Martha makes a point to cheerfully greet you when she sees you and comes and asks about your day. Such a simple gesture but so appreciated.

I visit Houston for business frequently and this particular JW Marriott is my preferred location. The staff is very attentive and genuinely care for their guests. All the staff helps make a business trip more enjoyable most notably Gabriel and Martha Q.

AWEEESOMEE, experience. Big chain hotels are not very good this days, this one is worth it. Clean, nice decor and spacing, super good service, incredible breakfast. They helped us celebrate a birthday with an nice balloon and cupcakes.

The hotel is in a great location. It is a very tired property and not representative of a JW status. I was also surprised by the lack of attention from Marriott security and managers when a man entered the bar area and asked patrons for money. Several people reported the uncomfortable circumstance to employees and nothing was done for a significant amount of time. About 70% of the people in that area were being asked for money. Security needs to be revisited at this property.

Fantastic hotel. Check-in with Alexander was outstanding. Model agent with a bright future. Housekeeping was the best I’ve seen because of little details, organizing the personal bathroom items neatly was such a nice touch. Had a great interaction with Joshua at the front desk as well. Some of the gym equipment needs to be dusted, just a minor thing. I will be raving about this hotel to everyone. I’m a hotel manager in Fort Lauderdale and have been definitely enjoying my stay. Thank you to the whole team!

Overall the service was ok. However, the bartender ( older lady) was rude and not accommodating at all. Though the bar got crowded at night with our group and they were definitely understaffed behind the bar, it was no excuse for her attitude and actually refusing to serve one of my colleagues because she “didn’t have time.”

Love JWs and this one did not disappoint. Right in the heart of the Galleria Houston walkable and accessible to all major areas. Parking was convenient in and out privileges at self parking and was not too full. Lobby is large and inviting. Front desk staff was professional and friendly. The executive lounge on floor 22 was awesome with great city views. Breakfast had hot cold and to go offerings. Could have used some waters or juice in bottles though. Dinner and dessert selections varies each day. Staff was not as friendly as front desk but constantly busy prepping and cleaning. I did not give a five star as my room was somewhat small even though i was told i received a platinum upgrade. View of city was nice. But elevator noise was loud unfortunately. Bathrooms were upgraded and furnished nicely. Beds were comfortable. Outdoor pool was expansive and empty again great views. Fitness center was solid - clean, modern good equipment and clean. Would return next time in Houston Galleria.

After a very long travel day and a late-night arrival in Houston, the last thing you want is a complicated check-in. Thankfully, our experience was the complete opposite thanks to Norma at the night desk. Even though we arrived very late after a long flight, Norma welcomed us with an incredibly warm and friendly attitude that immediately made us feel at ease. She took the time to help us get acquainted with the hotel, explained everything clearly, and made sure we had everything we needed to settle in comfortably. What really stood out was her genuine kindness and professionalism. Despite the late hour, she was patient, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure our first moments at the hotel were smooth and pleasant. After such a long day of travel, her welcoming energy truly made a difference. Norma set a wonderful first impression for our stay, and we’re very grateful for her exceptional hospitality. Thank you for turning a late arrival into such a positive experience!

One of Marriotts superb hotels. Staff is very friendly, rooms are spacious, 2 bottles of water, nice bathroom amenities. Unfortunately no bathrobe and slippers. Very comfortable bed. A small convenient shop has fresh coffee, pastries, joghurt, salads and wraps. Breakfast buffet had a lovely selection, eggs to be ordered. Conveniently located across the street from The Galeria Mall.

Check in was a breeze even arriving at 1:30am. I needed to go pick up a rental car and Shah immediately offered me a ride (I was going to walk). This saved me 20 minutes!! He was so nice and I loved hearing his story. Also the lobby smelled amazing!
