The room was advertised as having a kitchenette, so I expected proper cooking facilities. However, when I arrived, there was only a microwave, a very small fridge and a dishwasher, but no stove or cooktop. I found that disappointing because, in my view, a kitchenette should provide a more complete setup for preparing meals. Having a dishwasher without any proper cooking facility did not make much sense for my needs.

I paid separately for breakfast because I had a visitor, but I did not feel the breakfast was worth the price. The selection and overall breakfast experience could have been better.

Well located for this area of town with excellent views of the Detroit skyline. The rooms are spacious and clean. Car parking available right next door with a bridge to the hotel. The restaurant was great.

Front desk staff, for the most part, was very unfriendly. At check-in we were told no other rooms were available (we received one next to the elevators), yet later learned most of the hotel was empty. The gym is OK although there was no AC. The pool was OK although not super clean, and the male showers were disfunctional.

The hotel s a great place to stay in Windsor by beautiful Riverside Drive. The staff are very polite and respectful and kind and compassionate. The rooms are spacious and clean and the bed s quite comfortable. The River Room s very cozy and sentimental and beautiful with great selection of food and drinks and very nice atmosphere with great staff with professional service. I ll surly stay again in this hotel and will recommend it to other travellers who are going to Windsor. I enjoyed my time in the hotel very much.

Room had an excellent view of the river. Restaurant was excellent with great view also.

Breakfast excellent. Snack bar very convenient. The view is amazing with the excitement of watching the lakeliners travel past the window. The lake promenade is beautifully landscaped the gardens are meticulously manicured and the walking path is great to get in a good walk.

Beds are too soft for our liking. I prefer a Keurig coffee just a preference.

Great hotel. Staff were lovely. Rooms were modern, clean, well laid out and comfortable. Loved the facilities and the location. Would stay again!

Die Lage ist sehr schön. Das Essen in dem Restaurant ist richtig gut. Der Ausblick auf die Detroit Skyline, rundet das köstliche Essen nochmal ab. Der Indoor Pool ist schön groß. Leider schien das Wasser ein wenig trüb und hätte meiner Meinung nach ein wenig Aufmerksamkeit gebraucht. Das gleich angrenzende Gym ist sehr gut sortiert. Wir waren nur auf Durchreise, also eine Nacht da, aber meine ganze Familie war sehr zufrieden

Das leicht trübe Wasser im Pool empfand ich als ein wenig unangenehm. Ansonsten haben die Kanadier alles sehr gut im Griff.

No refund available if you didn’t stay at the hotel which is absurd if I didn’t stay, I don’t see why I have to pay.

I think one thing that has to be changed that if you don’t stay at the property, you didn’t step foot at the property then you shouldn’t pay for it.

Rooms were very clean, When I called to ask about checking in early the staff was pleasantly accommodating and helpful.

I had checked into our room. It was very warm in the room (77°) and turned on the account to as low as I could get it to go (65°). It would go to 70° and turn off, I turned off auto and wanted the fan to continuously run. We had left for a wedding and when we got back at midnight it was very hot in our room once again. Went to the front desk and we were told there were no other rooms, they sent someone up but she said it was working fine, I explained the issue but she couldn't understand. ,needless to say, I was up most the night making sure the ac stayed on.

Service was excellent, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The hotel had a great atmosphere, was spotlessly clean, and offered excellent value for money. I’m particularly glad I booked a river-view room, as the view was absolutely beautiful. Overall, a wonderful stay.

In my opinion, the location and the view were excellent. However, the breakfast was ordinary and didn't match the price we paid.

There was no complimentary bottled water in the room, no slippers were provided, and the bathroom didn't have a magnifying makeup mirror. The hotel parking garage did not feel secure, and our car was broken into while it was parked there.

We were initially given a room on the 17th floor that appeared to be an accessible room with two queen beds. Unfortunately, the bathroom was dirty, and the air conditioner was extremely noisy. It also produced a strong, unpleasant smell, which made us think it had not been cleaned or maintained for a long time. The bathroom also had issues (see attached picture). The next day, we asked the front desk to change our room, and we were moved to the 13th floor. We packed all of our luggage, exchanged our room keys, and moved to the new b or professional. Instead of simply fixing the key, we had to go through the check-in process all over again, which was frustrating and inconvenient. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience due to the poor room condition, lack of maintenance, and unprofessional customer service.

The room itself was acceptable, but it was very small, and the carpet was dirty. The air conditioner was noisy and produced an unpleasant smell, which made the stay uncomfortable. The staff were not professional, especially the night manager, who did not seem to have enough experience in dealing with customers. Overall, the service and room conditions did not meet my expectations.

Our stay was very disappointing. We were initially checked into a handicap-accessible room on the 17th floor with two queen beds. The bathroom was dirty, and the air conditioner was very noisy and had a bad smell. The next morning, we went to the front desk and requested a different room. We were moved to a room on the 13th floor. We packed all of our luggage, moved to the new room, and received new key cards. When we returned that evening, our key cards did not work, and we were unable to enter the room. We had to go back to the front desk, where we were told that our check-in had never been completed. We had to go through the entire check-in process again. When I asked the night manager what had happened, he simply said he did not know. I found his response unprofessional, and he did not seem to have the experience or customer service skills expected for someone in a management position. Overall, the room conditions and the way this situation was handled made our stay very disappointing.

The rooms and overall condition of the hotel is quite good. The views to the river are beautiful. The service is excellent, from front desk staff to room attendants. We had a small issue with our room and the front desk staff were very accommodating. The buffet breakfast is very good as well, although the dinner was not great. Very reasonable and great value.

The river and Detroit views were amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and made everything easy for us. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had rooms on the 9th floor facing the Detroit River and Detroit River front. View was Great. Bathroom was small. There was a Party on the 2nd floor. The music was so loud it make the room vibrate and we were on the 9th floor. We had be be moved to another room, other people complained about the same thing, party went on until midnight. There was no way to get any rest with that level of sound shaking our room.

There was a issues between the 3rd party 'Booking.com' and Doubletree. I stated 3 travelers, The hotel only had 1 traveler therefore I was only given one breakfast. When I went to the front desk all they did was give me 15% discount towards the breakfast for the other two travelers. When I went to use the pool it was closed, when I saw the sign earlier for the fitness center inside the are by the pool it said 24hrs. I would suggest putting them side by side so you don't get confused with the hours for the pool.

La ubicación es excelente. Las vistas immejorables al río y skyline de Detroit. El hotel está muy bien, limpieza, decoración, personal. No recordamos que había piscina y nos la perdimos. Recomendable 100%

Location was incredible. Had a great view of the Detroit river and probable the only great attribute of the hotel.

Hotel room did not have any free water bottles, room service not available (not sure why this is the case as even cheap motels have room service), Wifi was extremely slow and most annoying the room AC was super loud every time when it started up, so forget about sleeping if you stay at room 1630. Also during check out one of the receptionist lady was very rude while asked about parking fee and has no idea of what customer service is. Not sure why Hilton would hire such a worker who is rude to answer questions. (March 16th morning, older white lady.) The hotel parking is outside of the property and the parking station pay machine is out of service. So you would have bring the ticket from the parking lot, pay at the reception and take it back to the parking lot to get out.

Love the location in comparison to where Caesars is located for us to see a show. Parking is extra but it’s right behind the hotel so not too far away. Clean and modern amenities including streaming services. We arrived early and they accommodated us no problem.

A heads up about pulling up to check in before going to park would have been nice but we figured it out anyways.

The staff were great and the food in the restaurant was very good. There was a great view from the restaurant. My only complaint was that the charge for the dog for one night was very excessive at 75.00 .
