Great comfortable stay. Great breakfast options.

Front desk was helpful. The mattresses had canyons in them. The room was not clean... hair in the shower and sink. Grimy.

Airport hotel near EWR. Flight cancellation was reason for stay. Still trying to remove charge to our room that was not ours. Shuttle was good.

Breakfast was on time and hot. Normal hotel breakfast. Room was comfy.

Everything was great. Our flight was delayed and we had to check in by 3am they were So nice and accommodating. We had a few minutes to spare.

The shower didn’t work in my room before boarding a 18 flight. Nothing was offered to make an amends for there shower that wasn’t working and had to purchase hand whips to clean myself.

Inside is great for a convenient airport hotel.

Hotel was clean, coffee at 5am was ice cold stuff from the night before. Have a car? It’ll cost you about 20% more every day you stay. Got into the hotel at 11pm and checked out at 5am for a flight. I was hit with a $30 charge for parking.

Pretty standard but nice, clean hotel experience. No surprises in a good way! Gym is a bit sparse but has everything you need to get a quick workout in.

We visited just for one night due to an event. The staff was very friendly. The location was super close to the airport and the shuttle to the hotel made things very easy. There is a large free breakfast every morning. Room was very clean and modern. We would definitely stay here again.

We wanted an easy night, before getting the Amtrak home in the morning. I was sure what to expect, but the reviews were good. Exceeded expectations! So clean and fresh, the bed was so very comfortable and I loved the linens! The staff was very kind and efficient, both at the front desk and during breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it too exceeded expectations! Thank you so much, for a great stay!

La chambre d’hôtel était spacieuse, propre avec tout le nécessaire et le confort. J’ai même pu repasser ma robe pour le soir même. L’emplacement est pratique pour ceux qui restent 1 nuit je trouve. Le service de navette m’a permis de faire un rapide check-in avant ma soirée sur Manhattan et de repartir tôt le lendemain matin. Il suffit de demander les horaires (toutes les 30 min au départ de l’hôtel). Le petit déjeuner est très copieux avec des pommes de terre, des oeufs, des pancakes, différentes céréales, différents jus.

Elaine at the front desk greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel welcome. We arrived early due to an overnight flight and were given a room immediately. Great breakfast bar. Appreciated the kindness of the airport shuttle driver who saw the need to drop us off at the check in area instead of making us ride a tram and bus.

Having grown up in NJ I don’t feel comfortable around the Newark area. But, for what I needed, this worked well.

This hotel seemed to be old and not kept up well. The pictures online from the outside does not adequately portray what the hotel looks like in person. On the pictures online, it appears that there are windows. In reality, there are windows with air condition units. Misleading. There are no restaurants nearby. Order food for delivery. The hotel shuttles to the airport are convenient but have seen their better days. The seats are in poor condition, and I found myself holding on for dear life, to prevent from falling out of the seat, since the seat was leaning over. The hotel and shuttle didn't live up to what I expect from the Hilton brand.

Staff was amazing, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

The house keeping was great.

Hampton Inn is a very nice and comfortable hotel very close to Newark Airport and Downtown Newark Historical District. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, topped with a very nice continental breakfast. Staff super cool and accommodating, exception and not so convenient, checkout is at 11:00am instead of the normal noontime at other hotels.

Shuttle driver was most accommodating.

i have never paid for parking at any Hilton Facility, this was a big turnoff & would have stayed elsewhere if I knew that beforehand. Staff Did a Nice job!!! Facility Needs A Makeover!!!!

No food option for dining. No place to even walk to.

The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. It was easy to get to and the staff was pleasant. Breakfast was good with many options. If your going to the airport, they have a shuttle for you. They didn't have vending machines that we saw, and you had to pay for parking. Those were my only cons.

The staff was great and very helpful. The first room we were in had a broken AC. The room they moved us to smelled of cigarettes. I guess that’s on a previous guest, but it needed deodorized. I would say some maintenance is in order.

Shuttle to EWR didn’t go to the airport - took you to the monorail. Would have liked to know that before making reservation!!!

We waited the hotel shuttle bus for more than 45 minutes at the airport terminal. There is no restaurant or cafeteria in this hotel.

Stayed to fly out for our son’s wedding . Only thing was pillows weren’t the greatest. Like using a board. Otherwise very clean.

Only stayed for a night; it was very quiet and clean. Had a nice variety of snacks and drinks in the lobby. We could also use the shuttle to the airport at 4:30 am, which was nice. The only thing that sucked was that waiting on the shuttle at the airport after flying in took like 45 minutes, and we almost got on the wrong Hampton shuttle at one point. Luckily, we had time to wait.

Airport shuttle is a disaster

It was nice stay for accessing Newark Airport. The breakfast was great for starting a day! The gym also worked very well to energizing my body. Like it!

I didn’t make this reservation and was still charged. I called and explained I was looking at this hotel earlier but I didn’t purchase it yet it took $300 out of my account for services not rendered.

Water in the room (toilet) smells bad. Staff at front desk not friendly.

Hotel is old and smells old. Rooms are dated, no clock. Location was noisy. It’s definitely over-priced.

The hotel is very close to the airport but getting there is a maze. The breakfast was good and varied. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. You can use Ubereats and they have some local restaurant’s menus on a table. I would rate this hotel 3 out of 5 stars.
