Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Newark Liberty International Airport

Very neat . The drivers for the shuttle buses are very kind and pleasant

Elevate broke down throughout my stay . Just one elevator working. And we had to take turns to use . Breakfast was not good . Limited choice .The hot water kettle is not working well

Good location, the room was clean and so comfortable

Close to the airport, nice hotel.

Only 1 place to eat lunch or dinner, which was at a nearby hotel. Anything else requires transportation, ie driving or a taxi.

The staff was kind and pleasant - from the shuttle driver to the front desk! The check-in process was quick and efficient.

We arrived at approximately 8:00 p.m. due to a weather-related travel delay. Upon arrival, we noticed a coffee and tea station; however, the water provided was cold. The available food options were extremely limited. Complimentary apples and bananas were offered, but unfortunately, the fruit was overripe. The hotel did have additional food available for purchase, though those options were also quite limited. At first glance, our room appeared clean. However, the bathroom—specifically the toilet—was clearly in need of a thorough cleaning and appeared as though it had not been properly cleaned in quite some time. This was particularly disappointing and raised concerns about the overall standard of housekeeping. We chose this hotel primarily because we needed accommodations following a weather delay. Based on our experience, we are unlikely to stay at this Fairfield by Marriott location again, and unfortunately, we would not feel comfortable recommending it to others.

Convenient to where we were going ..

1 Elevator not working and the other was beyond slow! Hallways were very warm /uncomfortable

It wad Clean and comfortable . It was close to our cruise port.

No USB ports. Minal towels in room.

Very welcoming

I really liked , the breakfast selections. Coffee and tea available all day / no disturbances while in our room. 1 small issue I had , we couldn’t operate the television otherwise all was great.

N/A

There was no swimming pool as advertised. There was only 1 elevator working. I reserved a double room with double beds and I got a regular room with double beds. Very disappointed

Very new and clean inside. Nice sized suite with huge bathroom and nice shower.

I stayed at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Newark Liberty International Airport for one night with my partner and 3kids on our way to summer holiday. Location is perfect for catching an early morning plane from Newark. Room was nice and clean although not very big (two queen beds quite tight to each other). Breakfast is minimal. Good price versus quality ration but I would try another place next time.

Breakfast began 20 minutes later than scheduled and it is basic. I was charged my credit card twice but the lady at the reception was not able to explain reason why.

The address showed on the booking app not correct, should be rectified

Overall, it's a good place to short stay, and the address is wrong. When you want to find the hotel and don't use the order paper address, directly search the hotel name in Google Maps.

Breakfast is nice.

Pulita e comoda all'aeroporto.

Nulla

It was close to the airport

There were no restaurants within walking distance

Era abbastanza pulita, camera grande

Struttura vecchia, moquette nelle stanze

Good

It is ok

very friendly and helpful staff, clean and spacious room, comfortable beds

poor breakfast options

If it was reasonably priced the staff and cleanliness would be passably good

The room was too warm to sleep, thermostat did nothing

The AC was broken and we told them and they said they were gonna have it fixed when we came back. It was never fixed. The bathroom had a pee stain already on the floor.

all is well

all is well

Close to airport. Large room

No restaurant or decent food shop on site. Coffee machine didn’t work in room for a 3 am wake up to get to airport

Location comfortable

Place was great

Nothing.

Interaction with staff went very well. Breakfast was plentiful and had nice area to sit down and eat. Room was updated and clean. Very good job 👍

The location was great but it did seem like you where on an island in a sea of asphalt. The roads surrounding the area are so busy and the traffic patterns confusing. Not really fault of staff or management but that was kinda of a downer. I'm sure if I was flying out my opinion on this would be different but we were just "on the road again '

It was close to the airport and close enough to NYC

I didn’t have any issues

Great shuttle service to airports

Great breakfast

Very clean and comfortable room after arriving on flight late at night. Breakfast was of a high quality. Nice touches like fresh fruit .

All was good

It was close to everything

The breakfast was terrible and on our first night we had to ask for more soap and toilet Paper

Everything is superb

clean and breakfast included was a plus

wasn’t to fond of the little cation due to lack of precise and clear directions on how to gain access to the property. went in circles twice which meant getting back on the highway before we found the entrance .

I liked that there was a shuttle to the airport and the driver was great on telling me where I needed to go. The bed was comfy, the towels fluffy, the pillows just right.

No restaurant . It was wet and was i would have to walk two hotels over. After such a long day, was not going to do that

Transport man who took us to airport was AWESOME!!

Left before breakfast serves, coffee and tea that was out was only warm, not good. And infused water is nice but some plain water would be nicer!!

Clean but very basic

Extremely expensive for what you get

Clean, staff was helpful and friendly

Location is hard to find

Fiyat fayda dengesi iyi.

We actually didn't spend the night here. We rested here before a flight and parked our car for the duration of the trip. Such a good option if you're flying out of Newark. Highly reccomend.

You get what u pay for. It's an older building and the rooms are a little drab. But it worked for what we needed.

Clean, breakfast was decent.

Location not near anything.

Precio

everything was pretty OK. breakfast had choices of eggs, meats, dairy, yogurt, cereals and breads. It seems like the room was good because I don't remember anything tragic unless you count the toilet stopping up a bit. Staff delivered a plunger and it worked fine. The staff was ok.

the stopped toilet up likely was something the folks before us put up with as it was slow from the start. didn't ruin our night. Hotel has no restaurant

Everything

Nothing

Clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms, with ample parking available, though it costs $16 per day. The hotel offers a direct shuttle service to and from Newark Airport, but you need to register for this at reception. As this is an airport hotel, the reception and breakfast areas can be quite busy. Luggage trolleys are very helpful for moving bags in and out of the rooms. The furniture and carpets could benefit from renovation. A 24-hour coffee machine and fruits are available in the breakfast area. If you do not eat pork, it is advisable to request chicken or beef options in advance. The breakfast is decent, and the staff are very helpful. If you plan to visit New York City and the Statue of Liberty and have a car, it is better to park at Liberty State Park Park & Ride, which costs around $9 per day, and use the ferry, metro, or light rail for commuting. Train services are available until midnight, but it’s always best to check the latest schedule. When parking at Liberty State Park Park & Ride, make sure to use the daily parking area (not the monthly section) and note your parking lot number, as it is required to pay the fee at the machine located inside the nearby light rail station.

Nothing.

The breakfast was fantastic! Also, it was nice that we didn't have to pay for daytime parking.

The price was quite high, but comparable to other hotels around Newark Airport.

Everything

Front Desk went beyond my expectations, they were amazing, very polite and friendly. Place was under maintenance but they managed the situation smoothly, breakfast was great and room was clean. Loved staying here.

I liked everything

Convenient location. Quiet.
