My spouse got heat exhaustion as we were in a Slingshot and it was a very hot day, the Valet took very good care of her. So grateful to the Valet.

Easy to check in and the use of an app to call the valet to get our car was convenient when we were leaving our room or when we were on our way out for the day.

Parking was only provided via Valet which was quite expensiveas it cost per day (probably not compared to other garages) however, given that it was not included with the price we paid for the hotel, was quite disappointing. Likewise, two days in a row we allowed for our room to get turned over and have housekeeping fix the room up and the most that was done was towels were removed from our bathroom which were on the floor and the trash wasn't even taken out. Pillows were very small and were not standard size pillows, so that was also a disappointment.

Staff was nice

When booking, it stated new updated king bedrooms. Our room did not match the images. Our bed was super squeaky and uncomfortable. We also didn’t know our room entrance would be outside.

The only working elevator is in the parking lot. I asked someone if the other elevator had been broken for a while: “oh yeah”. Also, not their fault but literally every route to the hotel is uphill.

The attendant in the breakfast area kept the room well stocked and perfectly clean. We gave her our compliments.

Das Zimmer war so schmal, dass man in ein Bett nur von einer Seite hinein kam. Das Fenster ging zum Gang und man sah auf eine Wand. Der Raum zum Wäsche waschen wurde renoviert und somit war das nicht nutzbar. Das Parken mit 45 $ plus tax und Service bei 2 Nächten mit 104 $ schon ein stolzer Preis, dafür, dass das Auto um 5 m bewegt wurde und dann dort stand.

As our first time traveling to a city that had valet parking, I can say without a doubt the team here made it an amazing and easy experience. Kyree greeted us and said not to worry he had us and helped us get the vehicle checked in. The ladies at the front desk were kind and made checking in easy. Our vehicle retrieval for the following day only took a few minutes and getting it put back was also simple. Upon checking out, Kyree helped us load everything back into our car with the upmost respect and professionalism. I highly recommend the hotel at well as the valet service l.

False advertisement on your ratings and amenities! The parking and making money through the valet as well! No irons in the rooms, no ice on the floors! Over all I'll give you guys 3 stars!

The staff was very nice and friendly. The location of hotel is convenient. Valet was quick in retrieving my car.

Fotos on website did not match hotel, did not know our room would be outside (motel vibes). There were cockroaches outside and found one in our room. For the price of our stay, I was expecting a better and cleaner experience.

This is a great hotel! I was traveling alone with my two young kids, and I did not get to the hotel until very late at night, the staff was so accommodating and genuinely made me feel so welcomed and safe. I will stay at this hotel every time I come through Nashville. Our valet Will was awesome too!

The hotel was conveniently located. The staff helpful and friendly. The room was modernized however the air conditioner blows directly on the bed and it was exceptionally uncomfortable. The room is extremely small so there was nowhere to move. The floor in the shower was very slippery. Nashville is great!

This is a motel. The website — your website — was completely dishonest about these accommodations. I paid the same rate as the Sheraton across the street, and I got half of the quality. You need to take these goons off of booking.com. They are lying.

Great stay at Capitol hotel, fantastic location a short walk to Broadway and many other attractions. Staff very friendly, hotel nice and clean with fresh towels most days, very tasty and enjoyable breakfast at the complex.

The location was perfect to attend a concert at Nissian Stadium. The staff was friendly.

Understanding Nashville is a party town gave the other patrons reasonable amount of time to go to their rooms even though intoxicated. We all have had those nights out having a grand time and I get being loud trying to get into the room but this was all night. I waited an hour before the first call. Had to call the front desk twice to get security to come tell the other people who were all talking in the hallway and slamming doors once at 1am and once at 2am. Did not stop there it was all night long. Please know the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything and I mean everything. The lobby elevator was down had to use the outdoor elevator. The valet parking takes forever to drop off and pick up. The beds squeak every time you move. If you want to sleep at all would never recommend this hotel.

On Monday 1/19, my trip to Dallas was canceled due to the impending winter storm. A state of emergency was declared in Texas. I followed Booking.com’s process to request waiver of the cancellation fee for reservation 5483656200 from Capitol Hotel Downtown in Nashville. There was no response. Next, I followed the process to contact the hotel directly. Again there was no response. I did however receive an email that there was work happening in the parking lot. I tried one more time and did not receive a reply. I finally received a reply from the hotel on 1/23 directing me to contact Booking.com. Booking.com pointed me back to the hotel, which said the room was not refundable, sorry for the inconvenience. I fully own that I made a nonrefundable reservation. However, given the state of emergency, some service-oriented human intervention would have been appreciated. Even a partial cancellation penalty. Of the seven people in my travel party with various reservations, all but Ascend provided an exception and courtesy cancellation under the extraordinary circumstances.

I saved $200+ a night by staying three blocks away instead of paying the negotiated $399 per night at my convention hotel (the Renaissance Hotel). The room was excellent - very clean, comfortable bed, good water pressure and temperature in the shower, modern fixtures and furniture, ample work area, above-average desk chair, Keurig coffee brewer. The breakfast area was also very clean and modern; standard Comfort Inn food is the closest analogy to the items available. The lobby is adequate, and the bar looks like a nice alternative when one tires of the crowds six blocks away on Broadway. Now, the negatives. First, only one of two elevators was operating, and that required going outside to the parking area. Second, even if your room is on an interior corridor, you must use an exterior corridor on your floor to get there. The exterior corridors are okay but not attractive.

So to get this straight from the beginning this is a motel not a hotel. All the rooms open onto a very busy street area. We were booked in here by our UK travel company for our anniversary but checked straight out after seeing it. There are plenty of decent hotels downtown which is where we ended up. My advice give it a miss. The only + was that the staff were good and helpful and totally understood our situation.

Parking attendant was aggressive. Basically was trying to take my keys before I had even checked in. (The car was parked already and out of the way) For the price it was just your average hotel.

Close to Broadway and decently priced

Checking in the front clerk was a little abrasive. None of the ice machines worked, on any floor. The walls to the outside are thin so every group that came through you could hear everything. Valet parking had a mix up on something, didn't really tell us, and took almost 30 minutes to get our car.

The pictures are false. Very doctored. The lighting is aweful in the room. You can hear the traffic pretty well like horns honking. The value is not there. This is not an over 300 a night room. Plus parking fees. Recommend bringing your own pillows. For the king size it was 5 half pillows. Staff is nice and friendly. For the price there is better places to stay. We was not happy the sec we walked in. The pictures make it look so much nice.

Great location, 5 minute walk to the bars on Broadway and felt really safe walking surrounding streets at any time of day. Adequate breakfast, and enjoyed playing the games in the reception area! Friendly staff and valet guys!
