Delta Hotels by Marriott St. John's Conference Centre

Air conditionIng wasn't working very well

Location , friendly helpful staff , comfortable rooms , Starbucks in lobby

Cold showers in sport club, sauna not working , changing rooms run down , staff kept forgetting to replenish our shower gel in room despite requests

I was highly impressed with the check in. They were able to have my two rooms available upon arrival at 7am from Vancouver overnight flight with a stopover in Calgary.. I wast totally grateful due to needing a comfortable bed to rest. The lounge access was a plus as well. Thank you Delta for an exceptional stay.

Perfect stay.

View, great bed, dog friendly

An hour or so after check in staff person entered our room without knocking. This caused our dog to bark and we received a noise complaint from the desk. (The desk person had my name wrong, not sure why?) I went out to hall to see what was going on and she was apologizing and backing up but it did make me feel unsettled for the entire stay.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to advise us on places to go, etc. safe parking.

Didn’t know there was a restaurant on the premises. That would have been helpful to know when checking in. Only knew of a Starbucks downstairs.

Chambre spacieuse, très confortable. Hôtel bien situé au centre-ville.

La salle de sport n'a aucun poids, seulement des machines d'entraînement.

Convenient downtown location; stop for hop on hop off tour

Great staff. Great location.

Breakfast is too expensive.!

Our room was very nice, had a great view and a comfortable bed. Also appreciated an early check in.

The dog in the room next door barked for over an hour (until 9:45)

We requested a room that was close to the top and quiet. We got the 9th floor. The food and service in the club Room was excellent. The cleaning staff where very attentive to our needs and made us feel very welcome

Nothing

Convenient location

Rooms old, dated furnishings. Pool area dirty.

All good. Room smaller than last one with same description. Leisure area smaller.

Location, staff/service was amazing, rooms are good and clean. Refreshed everyday which is appreciated

Bit pricy but worth it for the experience.

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful..

Accommodated early arrival Tended to concerns quickly.

The excessive noise late at night.

We enjoy every visit when we stay

Nothing

Close to downtown. Everything was in walking distance

Nothing really

Adam at the front desk was genuinely one of the nicest people I’ve ever talked to Room was beautiful nice high corner view of the harbour

Nothing, the pool area is a little outdated but everything felt clean and we were very happy to get in the pool and sauna

The bed and the pillows were super comfortable. The room was very clean and we had wonderful view.

Parking was full and I had to stand in the last parking spot on the street outside the the hotel until my husband came around to get in The spot.

Got woke up early by a basketball bouncing on the floor in a room close by

I requested a late check out as my daughter had a dance competition but I could t get one so I was rushed to check out by 12 as my daughter was dancing up to that point

i love the floor, it has a good view, and the bed was perfect

that i had to walk to microwave outside my room

all good

all good

Great service, staff were friendly, rooms were clean.

Parking was very difficult. No space, very congested. Parking garage is very narrow and dangerous and very low ceilings. Pillows not comfortable. Hardly anything in them.

Great place

Parking!! No where to park whenever there are concerts or events in the area.

Great service as always.

No complaints!

Location was good and hotel had good services available

Parking was awful, my vechile was oversized leaving limited and at times no spaces to park. Checked out night before as no parking. Checked out at 8pm Wasn’t as clean in room as expected it would be. Also hot tub was broken in pool area.

So close (close walking distance!) to all the fun things downtown (Water St, pubs, shops, restaurants, sporting events, etc) Clean and newer decor. Friendly staff. A pool and nice views ! Definitely recommended to anyone wanting a nice spot to stay downtown.

We had dinner the food was extremely delicious

Having to pay for parking the room rates should of had parking included

Breakfast was great,a little bit expensive but decent.we liked that our room was cleaned each day, very friendly staff

Didn't like that had to pay for parking, very expensive, $86 for three nights. Coffee and tea in the room was not to good.

no breakfast

Noise level open room doors .alcohol

Loved the clean room and the wonderful view. Staff was also excellent

Charged for parking at the Hotel. After staying there lots of time, first time charged for parking. Wasn’t told upfront. When checking out was informed 😢

Friendly

Good location

Facility is bright, clean, and well maintained. Great location, however I did not leave the hotel other than for my meetings. Restaurant downstairs had great selection and good tasting food.

The building is getting older and some rooms, washrooms, etc. could use a refresh. It is still a very nice place to stay.

The staff are great! The rooms are very comfortable and clean. We took advantage of the pool & hot tub and had a great stay! Definitely recommend and will be back soon 😊

The price of the parking could be better.

Bed was fine, lobby with Starbucks was great.

the pool could be a bit cleaner

Clean and inviting

Clean and great location

The room was clean, comfortable and a good location for our needs.

The Sauna and Hot Tub were not working. As part of our tradition, the pool and hot tub are a big part of the NYE experience and it was disappointing that the hot tub wasn't functional. Also, while not a huge deal, we had to return to the front desk to have our key reprogrammed as it didn't work. While small, it adds annoyance to the experience after dragging all our luggage and supplies to the room, only to have to go back because the key didn't work. A microwave in the room would have been helpful

Very well laid out

Nothing

Clean & nice staff

The walls were very thin I could hear a full conversation from the next room. Also a lot of drunk people running through the halls all hours of the night being extremely loud

Great location ,room clean ,had fantastic room view of the city and harbour. Pool was super , temperature was great and hot tub as well. Staff were friendly and helpful when needed.

All good.

Beds were extremely comfortable, the room was a great size and you could access personal apps like Netflix on the TV.

Communal areas like the corridors were a little untidy, I don’t think they were swept for days whilst we were there and with the snow, it meant those areas presented a little grubby. Presentation of the swimming pool & gym could also be improved.

Accommodation and staff very friendly and helpful

Great friendly staff,clean and comfortable
