Convenient location and very clean & comfy. Located across from convention center and bus stops for 3 bus routes. Lots of restaurants nearby. Very friendly staff.

Je n'aurais jamais assez de 3 phrases pour décrire mon dégoût au prix de la chambre ! Chambre crado et un simple petit dej offert pour dédommagement car impossible de faire une ristourne car le paiement de cette chambre pourrie à été prélevé avant notre arrivée bien sûr ! Je ne recommande à personne cette établissement avec un soit disant standing et des prix élevés ! Nous regrettons amèrement nôtre nuit au JAG qui devait être nôtre nuit de noces attendue depuis 17 ans !

Room was a good size, comfortable and had a nice bathroom. The staff was generally friendly and helpful. Location is walking distance to restaurants.

Signs within the hotel could be better between buildings. There could be more detail upon check in regarding amenities.

Les lits et la literie étaient super confortables. C’était très utile d’avoir une cafetière Keurig dans la chambre, avec des k-cups fournis. Aussi, à chaque soir on nous apportait des chocolats accompagnés d’une belle pensée. Les restaurants dans l’hôtel se sont avérés très pratiques surtout en cas de forte pluie à l’extérieur!

The location is a little outside of the core downtown area and a little expensive for what you get.

The hotel was extremely well appointed and the theme carried through every room. Professional and clean. We found the best coffee in town was at the Jag coffee bar. The staff was friendly and attentive. The location was perfect for access to Water and George street.

The room was exceptional and all the rock paraphernalia was right up my alley, very interesting hotel!

It wasn’t so much I didn’t like it, it was just rather disappointing that the pool and hot tub closed so early, should be open at least till 10PM. 😎

No street parking. Mandatory valet parking. Extremely limited family swimming times. Not a very kid friendly hotel.

I liked the uniqueness of the hotel. Instead of a bland modern box you get color, pattern and rick music. But it was also comfortable, luxurious and a good value. And the breakfast was actually cheaper than the local restaurants! The beds were exceptionally comfortable

The room didn’t smell amazing when we got in. It was a bit musty. The air conditioning is on the wall and maybe it hasn’t been on in a while.

The building was great, valet parking, facilities were awesome..rooms were fully stocked. The location was top notch especially in the summer you can walk everywhere.

Habitació confortable i espaiosa. El llit bé, excepte els coixins (massa gruixuts / massa alts: no m’han permès dormir bé). Hi ha hotels que es pensen que els coixins son per “decorar el llit”, no estan pensat per afavorir el descans. L’esmorzar bé. Moltes opcions. Bastant bo.

Els coixins del llit (incomodes per a dormir). La decoració en general del hotel: pensada només per a fanàtics del rock&roll. Ina part del personal: tota la recepció: incompetents/infocacos i passius. Diuen qie et tornaran la trucada i ni ho fan. Els reportes problemes i fan cara de “i que hola que hi faci?”. Un dels porters: mo em dona opció d’usar el parking del hotel si lo es per el “valent”. Després m’adverteix (seriosament) que si àpat o al carrer haig de pagar a la màquina per la “zona”. Al arribar a l’habitació, no funciona la cadena del water (!!). El preu: molt car

It is well located, walkable to most everything in downtown St. John’s. The price was good. Very unique decor.

Of course, it doesn’t have the views others in the area have. Our room could have been cleaned a bit better (carpet), but the beds were made nicely & clean as was the bathroom.

Facilities were very good, the room was spacious and comfortable. Everything that was needed was provided. The location of the hotel is excellent, and every member of staff encountered were welcoming, efficient, and friendly

I have one reservation, the breakfast in the exile could have been better. No cereal offered apart from porridge, and unfortunately the service was slow, friendly but slow.

Decorated nicely, comfortable lobby and furniture. Location was central and walkable to downtown. Valet parking staff were excellent, friendly and efficient and helpful!

The Newfoundland Music Festival was going on when we arrived on August 2nd, we were able to walk to and from the festival & one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in!

All OK. Rooms quite comfy and modern. Loved the build around the lobby, the bar deco is great.

The greasy smell of burger and fries when you get into the hotel turned me off. Would have appreciated help with my 3 suitcases to get to my room. Rock'n roll stars from the 70's to 00's made me feel old. If this is about music why not going ahead with recent / modern artists ? I'm 51 and felt like I was in an hard rock cafe for old people.

The location is good … that’s about it … this hotel is so overpriced ... beds and pillows were uncomfortable ... also, the vibe of the hotel is kind of eerie ... i get the whole rock and roll thing but there was an empty cold feeling to this whole facility … i would not recommend

Hot tub was out of order … when you pay 360/night it would be nice if the amenities were available

The room was very cool. Lots of windows but big black out drapes that didn’t let in any morning sun.

We went to 3 dining places on property. The lounge, restaurant on the main level by check in and the one adjacent. Every single one was extremely slow. We were slow to be seated, slow to order. The lounge was the worst of them all. Once we were seated it took over 15 min of sitting there to get our drink order in and then another 15 for the drinks to arrive. The food at the restaurants was good. But not worth the time we had to wait.

The hotel is very upscale, the decor is very modern. The dining/restaurant was nice. Location was perfect. There was a cafe in the lobby available for a quick stop breakfast at reasonable prices.

Parking was not included and it was also valet. The rooms were nice but very dark, no overhead lighting.

Stuff! We left two brand new hats in a room after 2 days constantly calling about missing hats we went there and manager said sorry! That’s all we got not even free breakfast or some credit especially that we stayed there before few times.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of downtown with easy access to restaurants and events. Loved our room as we got a corner with harbor views. Wish we could have stayed longer but already planning on coming back!

It was perfect

This hotel is so fun and interesting and is really a great option if you are looking for a one of a kind stay! The staff are very helpful and kind and you are greeted with a smile no matter what time of the day or night! The location is fantastic, not even a 5 minute walk from the main drag of st. Johns. I have seen reviews saying this hotel is over the top and tacky but I absolutely do not agree! The room I stayed in, and the hotel on a whole, while decorated with a bit more fun and whimsy than your typical boring hotel, was exceptionally clean and had a level of quality that I really appreciated - the room was serviced regularly and a turn down service every evening was a nice touch! Also the bed was so comfortable I really got a wonderful sleep every night! I really do recommend this hotel to anyone who likes things out of the ordinary - even walking around looking at the decor was one of the highlights of my trip! If you like the typical snooze-fest you'd normally find in a hotel this size, maybe give it a skip instead of booking and then leaving a negative review based on personal preferences! But if you like fun (and so many photo ops if you are so inclined), I would really consider checking this place out!

There wasnt really anything I didnt like! Do make sure you listen to the person checking you in when they direct you to your floor because it can be confusing the first time you navigate between the towers with luggage. That's not a negative at all, just something to keep in mind!

Chambre donnant côté rue, vue containers, très très bruyante, y compris la nuit. La piscine n'était accessible avec des enfants que deux heures par jour, le matin, ce qui n'était pas du tout pratique. D'une façon générale, l'hôtel paraît privilégier une partie de sa clientèle, plus âgée. Le petit-déjeuner ne peut être pris qu'à un tarif prohibitif (plus de 100$/ jour pour une famille de 4) et de préférence en réservant. Enfin, il faut aussi rajouter le prix du parking, avec valet. Bout à bout, l'hôtel lorsqu'il est réservé avec Booking, ne vaut pas le coup. Nous ne reviendrons pas et nous déconseillons aux familles.

Art work on the walls of musicians from the 60's and 70's were just amazing. The service was excellent and very friendly.

Loved everything about this hotel! Super clean, amazing staff, but oh my - the decor! Out of this world! Hands down, the BEST hotel we have ever stayed in! If you are a music lover, pack your bags. It's also very close to Water and George Street, so you can leave your car parked and walk around.

Everything about this property was top notch. We had an amazing, albeit short, stay at the Jag. Had a beautiful suite overlooking the harbour and Signal Hill right from the couch in the room. Staff was attentive and friendly. Food was amazing. Ambiance 10/10. Would highly recommend!

We had a double queen bed room for a party of 3 people for a one night stay in St. John's. The room was nicely decorated, very spacious and clean (I am very picky about hotel cleanliness) as was the bathroom, great shower. Property was spectacular with a unique rock design and vibe. The location and walking distance to Water Street/Duckworth Street /George Street only minutes away was perfect. We didn't eat here so no comment on restaurant nor did we make use of the pool or fitness area. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Nothing really. Loud music in the restaurant area could be prohibitive for some but it goes with the concept of this hotel. So no fault/shortcoming of the hotel.

Clean and location

8th floor get together room should have live piano player or any other live performance always empty waisted space. Charged $12 for small bowl of nuts to gave with drink ridiculous.

Strange bathroom lighting that only goes out if you close the door and wait for 5 mins. Wakes up others trying to sleep if you want to make a nightime visit! Restaurant linked to hotel Exile - not very good and food and service average. only ate there once
