Very friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Fantastic Gluten Free Breakfast cooked fresh to order. Clean and comfortable.
A very grand place, rather “tired” now, definitely in need of a refresh. And beds need to be much softer please. A topper on the mattresses would transform. Lovely grounds and quiet. Plenty of parking.
No walk in showers: all showers are “over the bath” which is uncomfortable/awkward/unsafe, given the clientele are mainly elderly, arriving by coach and some by car. Not a family hotel, not suitable for children.
The staff were incredible hobestly nothing was too much trouble . Room was lovely Some mould down side of shower NOT GOOD but hidden by shower curtain still NO EXCUSE Breakfast was amazing
Lift situation could be improved Worn carpet could. Be improved upon Mould down side of shower tray

L'emplacement.
Staff were first class. Hotel was lovely. Breakfast was excellent.
Not using this hotel before.
Very nuce
All of it
The hotel was very spacious, an elegant building in lovely grounds.
The window in our room was fixed so you could only open it a little way - and it was very hot.
Location, staff and great breakfast. Very comfortable rooms, nicely decorated.
Evening food menu not that good, food doesn’t look like it’s freshly made by a chef, more ready prepared. We are out as we wanted to avoid disappointment.
Receiving an email to say my card would be charged for a no show stay when I paid on arrival settled my dining room bill before heading back to my room after dinner.
Breakfast was delicious. Lots of choice.
Location and friendly staff
Dirty carpets in rooms. We had to move from first room due to terrible smell. Not being allowed to eat at a table in the restaurant despite it still being open as staff needed to ‘set up for the morning. Saw a couple have to eat their meal off a coffee table next to a room of empty tables.
The grounds of the hotel are well kept and spacious - good parking. For dog owners plenty of walks for all sizes of dogs. The bar was friendly and well stocked. Breakfast was a treat with all aspects, I.e. continental, full English, variety of cereal, fruit and breads. Great. The receptionist was really friendly and helpful.
Our sat nav took us on a very varied narrow road trip.

Stayed for one night with the afternoon tea, as we arrived they had a power cut, which did not last long , so our afternoon tea could be served, it was quite filling and we could not eat all of it, there were plenty of staff on duty ( a rare treat these days) so if you wanted anything they were on hand and efficient, the room was of a decent size and clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, the breakfast was one of the best we have seen, it was a proper continental offering, not just pastries E.T.C., the cooked breakfast was very good , quality products and well cooked, again plenty of staff, and the food was replenished constantly.
Andrea and I recently had our wedding at Bowden Hall and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. From day one, the team were incredible. Throughout all the planning and organising, they were always helpful, supportive and accommodating and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The day before the wedding and the wedding day itself ran so smoothly. The team looking after us were absolutely amazing, friendly, attentive and always there when we needed them. It meant we could simply relax, enjoy ourselves and take everything in without having to worry about a thing. The venue looked absolutely beautiful and so many of our guests commented on how lovely Bowden Hall was. We also had loads of compliments about the food, the service and how well the whole day was organised. Most importantly, our wedding day was everything we wanted it to be and more. It was genuinely one of the best days of our lives and the team at Bowden Hall played such a huge part in making it so special. Andrea and I can't thank everyone enough for everything you did for us. To everyone involved in the planning, the food, the bar, the service and everyone working behind the scenes, thank you! We will never forget our day and couldn't recommend Bowden Hall highly enough.
Very basic I would not give 4 star for this hotel . The only thing all I could smell was sewage from the drains sat out side it was awful had to come in and sit in the lounge The rooms are basic I think they need updating the food very basic for a 4 star
Las vistas de la habitación y el jardin. Muy buena atención de parte de todo el personal, tanto en la recepción, como en el restaurant
Lo staff molto cordiale e accogliente
Nella stanza mancava un armadio dove riporre i vestiti
We had our wedding at Bowden hall in August and honestly it was the best day. A massive shout out to Chelsea, Vicky and Rachel who made my day the best it could be. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they are incredible! The rooms were lovely, the food was the best we’ve ever had and their hospitality was phenomenal. Thank you so much! (wish we could do it all again)! ❤️❤️
A big old house in the countryside, good deal for people with the car. Big and clean room. Good breakfast above all the salty stuff. Gentle and nice staff, very professional and kind. Funny to walk in 3 or 4 corridors of the big old house to reach our room. A labyrinth!
It was hot. If you don't have the air conditioner you have to provide for different windows. Of course it's an old house but a way to open the windows must be found.
Good things about the hotel: Nice location. Setting is lovely and nice grounds to walk the dog. Room was big (I booked a superior room). Bed was comfortable. Very dog friendly. On the downside: Visited at the end of the heatwave and the lack of air conditioning was a challenge for sleeping. Dinner was terrible. Had grilled fish and Hunters Chicken and both were over cooked, tough, dried out and disappointing. One of the worst meals I have had for several years. My wife is Gluten intolerant and almost all the items on the menu were not available to her. Just the fish for the main course. I found the breakfast buffet to be very good. Overall, the hotel was tired and I would agree with other comments that it did not meet my expectations of a 4 star hotel. I think 3 stars is more reflective of the qualify of the rooms and food.
Lovely hotel in a quiet location. Facilities and room lovely
Lovely old building with good surroundings.
Paid extra for a bigger room but the room was far too warm. No air conditioning. Breakfast was overcooked.
No AC
The hotel was lovely in nice surroundings and nice walks in the village my husband particularly liked it because he was born their
There could have been a pit more choice on dinner menu and wish I had a lift
Staff were fantastic food was to a great standard and some great views.
Room was very hot only a small fan that didn't do alot, needs air conditioning fitted or a mobile one in the room.
Location staff and breakfast
Nothing
All the staff here are absolutely brilliant, friendly and helpful. The hotel is wonderful, I would stay here again at the drop of a hat. We needed a stop off on our way back from Cornwall to Cumbria and it was a great location for us. The building and grounds are superb. Food fantastic with a good bar, but honestly the staff at this hotel are better than places three times the price, not pretentious just professional and friendly, well done Mercure 5*
This hotel could be so much better. It’s classed as a 4 star. Now I don’t claim to know the rating system for hotels however based on experience staying in others of the same level this fell below and I’d put this as a 3 star. As with many things these days the marketing and web site over sells it in my view. The hotel is in an old Georgian house. With hindsight perhaps we should have paid more attention to this fact as it contributes to much of the “down sides “ listed below. The hotel appeared clean and tidy throughout with the exception of the restaurant on the last morning as the floor hadn’t been cleaned since the previous night. We had booked a “Privilege” room as we expected this to be better. Bar a larger room footprint, with not really anymore furniture and the addition of a coffee pod machine, I wasn’t seeing where the extra cost was. The first night there was canned water and biscuits. These were never replaced the entire time. Small thing but not expected from a 4 star hotel. Even in a pub room that sort of thing gets refilled daily. It was supposed to have a “garden view”. More on that below. I think the biggest point of note is the floorboards. We visited four National Trust properties whilst staying here. All much older. None had floorboards that were as noisy as here! I appreciate its part of the building fabric however you could not walk anywhere in the room we had without very loud noises coming from the floor. You could hear people in other rooms too. In the middle of the night the noise could wake you up. There is no lift. This is probably hidden away on the website or maybe we just missed that information. We were on the top floor. Up four flights of stairs. I was offered help from the female receptionist. I declined and later saw her struggling to lug cases down for someone else so it appears there are no porters or such either. I would love to see the health and safety risk assessment for that one! There was a wheelchair lift to first floor if required. There was also no air conditioning. Something I would expect these days. Especially in a hotel pitching itself as 4 star. The very old single pain sash windows only opened a few inches (quite rightly for safety) either at top, bottom of if lucky both (and they weren’t quiet to operate either). As I’ve said we were top floor. In summer any year, but especially this year it was uncomfortable . There was a large, fixed floor fan provided but even on its lowest setting it was very loud and did little to improve the lack of ventilation. Having the windows open created another issue. Our room was on a corner. One window over looking the car park (even more on that later) and the other overlooked other hotel buildings with some what I think was ventilation outlet noise. Ergo there was an issue at night. A hot room and outside noise were not conducive to a good nights sleep and neither of us hand one after three nights. On the last morning we overheard a party of guests discussing how some had it and couldn’t believe others didn’t. I suspect in winter it’s the opposite due to the ceiling heights as I think it was maybe one radiator in the room. You could hear the drone of traffic (the M5) in the distance. This was ok but motorcycles being louder were noticeable at night/early morning. I would describe the bed as “very firm” . Not uncomfortable but noteworthy as such ( we have from at home). Further on the “requires updating” piece all the plug sockets were on the far wall. Miles away due to the size of the room. At least one must’ve been low wattage as high speed chargers wouldn’t work. We found two that worked ok. The bedside lights were ceiling downlighters on a dimmer switch. Think back to Georgian building, high ceilings and your side light is 20 ft above you. These weren’t usable as they just lit up more than the “traditional” , and less intrusive, table/reading lamp I’d expect. Still on more “modern” things the water pressure in the shower was poor at best. It was sited over the taps at the top of the bath. For me the hotel shower is a litmus test. You want to be able to have a decent, refreshing shower daily. Now I’m not a big guy by any means ( 5”11, slim) but I was huddled up trying not to bump into the taps or fall over whilst trying to shower and checking that yes, there is actually water coming out as I couldn’t physically feel it. Anyone of a bigger frame would’ve struggled. There were no grab bars either to help you get in and out (of balance). The toilet I think is the lowest one I’ve ever used. Quite odd. Again something we didn’t note, or was not obvious to us, that is that this is a very dog friendly hotel. There were at least four or five we saw while staying. Now I’m a dog owner who personally would never bring a dog to a hotel and I wasn’t prepared for any to be there. One night someone had a dog which was on the large size of medium in the lounge. We’d gone down for a bite to eat and a drink. This dog was of a breed that must struggle to breathe at the best of times but the sound of it struggling in the heat was so loud, disconcerting and not very pleasant considering we were (trying) to relax and eat. Again not something I’d expect at a 4 star establishment. If you’re going to allow dogs it would be better to place some form of area restrictions common indoor areas especially where people eat. This also meant the grounds were at times used for dog exercise and associated “activities”. It’s not much fun eating breakfast and looking out at dogs doing what they have to. Everyone was clearing up however, again, a more specific area, especially away from the restaurant and lounge would be better. The breakfast was “ok”. There was a good choice but nothing again screaming “ this is a 4 star breakfast buffet”. Perfectly adequate would be my description. I’ve had better at my local garden centres. We ate in the lounge area on two early evenings. Again I’d class it as average at best. We had a pizza one night and a ham sandwich (not a sandwich). I can’t adequately pitch a level of quality but I think you’d get better at a local pub. Edible but not amazing. The menus in the room also differed from the lounge which caused some confusion and we were told they were out of date. We were helpfully sorted out in the end. The bar itself again, I have to say, was sub par for what I would expect. Drinks menu was limited and if you wanted a cocktail , well that came out of a can! I’d say they’re serving staff behind the bar rather than an actual bar person . The property is also a wedding venue. This is clear on the web site and I guess the market they are mainly aimed at. We weren’t however, made aware of the fact that there was one during our stay either when we booked or on arrival until we saw things arriving for it’s preparation ourselves. Now back to fact that the room was overlooking the car park. It also overlooked the venue. Bearing in mind how hot it’s been lately ( but would be the same any summer I’d say), the last night we couldn’t have any windows open as there was so much noise coming from the loitering “chuggers” outside the venue and kids running around . Guests were also very noisily coming to bed up to 1.30 am. This was after I’d had to complain to room next door who decided to have a disco (not the hotel's fault but it was part of our “experience”). It would be better if the bookings for wedding guests are nearer the venue end (or even a separate part) and everyone else is away at a quieter part. A simple thing like a lower chain has of simple signage for guest behaviour to keep quiet would help. The weddings obviously also give them an issue as at breakfast the following morning with “freeloaders” trying to get a freebie. There seemed to be quite a bit of guest “wrangling” by the team lead going on to mitigate this. The one thing that saves this place are in fact the staff. Everyone we met was friendly, polite and appeared to genuinely make the effort . They are a real credit to the company and probably don’t get paid enough. In terms of overall location it’s ok but if you need to head out on the A46 this is via “nuthill” which is a narrow lane and larger cars can manage it ( unless you go the “long way via ring road “ but you have to be wary I would say. The other direction is mainly residential until you hit the ring road. Overall, in its current format I wouldn’t return. If investment was made I think it would need to be sizeable and is perhaps why it’s not been done. Up until the last night it was “ok” but that was just the final nail. Due to personal circumstances this short break is it for this year and in my humble personal opinion there would’ve been better places to stay I’m afraid.
Gute Lage, gutes Frühstück
Verwinkelten Bau ,vierter Stock ohne Lift, sehr Viele Stufen. Fenster konnte nicht geöffnet werden, Sehr heiss im Zimmer. Essen im Restaurant nicht Besonders gut.
Great location. Big room comfy beds. Lovely staff. Walking in the grounds with my little dog. AC in the bedroom
Bedroom was a little tired but considering the cost I shouldn’t even be mentioning it. And 2 flights of stairs.
Lovely food. Francesca the host as we arrived was fantastic.
No air con
Great location and staff were lovely and very welcoming. The area was very quiet - no road noise at all.
The walls and ceilings were very thin, so we could hear other guests in their rooms, especially a child thumping around in a bedroom above ours. I also think hotels should inform guests if there is a wedding or other event planned during your stay so you can choose to stay elsewhere if you prefer not to be disturbed in the night.
Location
Poor value food. No lift and room up 4 floors. Room facilities required refurbishment.
Lovely building and in a tranquil setting. Spotlessly clean and comfortable.
We enjoyed everything.
We had an overnight stay with breakfast which was excellent. The lady on reception was amazing so lovely & welcoming, helpful but still professional. All the staff was so nice. Would stay overnight again.
Nothing
My wife and I came for dinner in one of your pods today (2nd august 2026) and what a lovely idea it turned out to be. The pod is such a novel idea, one that both my wife and I. Annoy recall seeing anywhere else. The facilities provided in them, are much more then we would have expected with the air con units x 3….this is fantastic attention to detail given how hot it has been this year. Also the decor of the pod was beautiful, can quite easily see, that although trying to come across minimalistic, a huge amount of thought and attention to detail has been considered. The food, top drawer! I can’t top that for praise, everything there was one point. However, and this is very important, the young lady, who was our server, Sarah. She is a stand out credit to you and your company as a whole. If I was working within the service industry, I would Absoloutly employ her, no hesitation. Nothing was too much trouble, had a unique ability to make us feel special and that we were all that mattered (no doubt she was doing this alongside other duties) very kind, pleasant, attentive and took the the time to find out it was not only our second wedding anniversary but also that my wife is pregnant, with this info, unbeknown to us, she had a surprise dessert prepared for us. Whatever you’re paying her isn’t enough. There was also a very kind, young man at the bar, Luke. Who again, was very attentive and even though there was a que, took time to apologise for waiting, double checked the occasion, anad again nothing was too much trouble. Another fantastic asset you and a credit to your hotel. I cannot speak highly enough of the level of customer service experienced tonight, absoloute class, too top drawer. Thankyou again to Sarah and Luke for making out wedding anniversary a memorable one. We will be back With warm regards Mr M Jordan
Garden area , room was comfortable , quiet
Very tired needs a good refurbishment Coffee not good
Before I start I’d like to point out I’m not the sort of person who has high standards at all, I love myself a Premier Inn but thought for my birthday my partner and I would treat ourselves and spend a bit more money, however; don’t feel the price reflected the stay at all. The room was very outdated, not like in the photographs on the website. Especially the bathroom. There was also black mould in the bathroom and the shower pressure and temperature was poor and the temperature would go from hot to luke warm frequently. The air con unit in the bedroom was filthy and clearly hasn’t been serviced regularly. There was also dust all over the bedside tables as I have photographed which I would say is quite a basic thing to clean between guests. There was dust all over the skirting and stains and marks on the walls. Throughout the communal areas of the hotel the carpet was severely worn and stained. The food was average, nothing to complain about but equally nothing to rave about either. At breakfast there was a buffet style which was fine however I had finished my breakfast by the time the beans and eggs were topped up again so missed out on that, but again not the end of the world. There isn’t lemonade or cola on tap so it’s poured out of a bottle meaning the lemonade was slightly flat. The staff were all extremely friendly and professional and service was brilliant, however; I would not say this was a 4* hotel and I’m someone who is easily pleased so for me to write a negative review it must have been bad.
We had our anniversary dinner this evening in one of the lakeside pods. The atmosphere was relaxing and the pod was beautifully decorated without being OTT. We had a wonderful server called Sarah who made it clear nothing was too much trouble. She was attentive and just genuinely so lovely and kind. The food was delicious and generous portions too. At the end of the meal Sarah brought out a lovely surprise plate for our anniversary- such a wonderful gesture. Luke behind the bar was also super friendly and attentive. Overall, I would 100% recommend this dining experience. It felt like a very special evening. Thank you once again to Sarah for making the evening such a smooth one :)
Nice location and friendly staff
The room was extremely hot to the point it was uncomfortable. A fan was provided, but you had to stand right next to it to feel any air. The room was outdated and the carpet could have done with a clean as there were stains all over it.
The only hotel available in the area. Staff friendly.
It was the only hotel available in the area and I think that is the only reason it gets booked. Very basic accommodation Several stains all over the carpet, I wouldn’t recommend it. It was dirty, no wardrobe, one fan. Room was boiling hot. Smell of the toilet. Very disappointed
The location
Food Useless fan.
The scenery cocktails and just perfect
The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I arrived late with my daughter and they opened the kitchen and allowed us to have croissants for an early departure.
Our room was in the roof and we were concerned about access in case of a fire.
The staff were exceptional. Particularly on reception. Couldn’t do enough for you. Beautiful location, beautiful rooms
Great location, quiet room with nice view, excellent breakfast
Smell in the room, not sure what it was
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious!
It was very warm in the room. (Heatwave week 2). .
Schönes Haus und Park.
Zimmer sehr warm bei sommerlichen Temperaturen, da Fenster nur einen Spalt breit geöffnet werden konnten.
Location and setting
Very hot in the room
The hotel itself was beautiful and the staff were great. Location and grounds were superb.
Our pillows were not the best. Maybe a personal preference.
Beautiful building and surroundings.
Really noisy. We stayed in room 241 and it had a view of the bins!. Really noisy all night with doors banging and bottles being emptied at 1AM.
Breakfast

Our room was comfortable, attractive and cool with a lovely garden view.
We have no negative comments.
Very comfortable and bright with lovely grounds
The property is very comfortable and the staff very pleasant. However the food was not quite as good as our previous 2 stays in July 2024
No lift or refrigerator.
Room was warm even with a fan provided

A very pleasant couple of nights at Bowden Hall - a lovely location. A decent size room and easily accessible for bringing in the dogs. The staff are truly wonderful and very helpful, always going out of their way to provide assistance.
Restaurant evening meal was not to my liking - it doesn't match the quality of the hotel or the quality of the staff. Mercure should look at their menus and the quality of food on offer. Average food at a high price point.
Nice traditional manor house. The bubbles for dining were unique and fun. There was a prom and wedding which made fir a lovely stay.
We assumed the hotel was unairconditoned as we were placed in an unairconditioned room at the farthest point from the reception. This was difficult for my 86 year old mother with walking problems and for me at 64 with three suitcases. On our way out, we discovered there were closer rooms with air conditioning.
The staff were lovely, you couldn’t ask any more from them. Gorgeous location and dog friendly.
The restaurant was expensive. £18 for some double cooked chips and gammon. Room very loud in the dog area. Although my dog isn’t a barker really so perhaps I’m not used to it.
Ruhige und schöne Lage im Grünen. Grosser Parkplatz. Gutes Restaurant.
Lovely staff tidy room with air codition
Det lå skønt. Værelset var stor og morgenmaden rigtig fin
Værelserne var meget varme
Lovely large old building with outside space and lovely lounges inside . Free parking which is an added bonus.
It’s a shame it was such a long way off the motorway down country lanes etc, as it was a stopover on a long journey north. We didn’t realise and thought it was just off motorway . But it was nice and quiet . Only a minor thing but the shower was over the bath, we knew this when booking though.
Clean well located
No fridge
Stopped off at Bowden Hall for two nights while visiting family early July 26. Very reasonable rates and staff are friendly and helpful. Surrounding landscape is beautiful.Breakfast is good and a selection to suit all. The standard room is fine with comfortable bed and shower over bath. Air conditioning in the room was very welcome during the very hot spell of weather. WiFi also very good. Great value for your money. Highly recommended.

All staff freindly and helpful
Only one umbrella available in the garden. No tv in the lounges unable to watch England play in world cup
Nice and quiet hotel, very clean and comfortable. Lovely, fresh breakfast and beautiful gardens.
Location
Breakfast was excellent, staff were very accommodating. Grounds were lovely
Had to ask to be given a different room, than the one that was allocated to us. As the first room had no AC so was like an oven. Some of our party had to put up with a very stuffy room, as there were no AC rooms left . So their stay was uncomfortable
The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings Hotel reception areas good
No plug points by the bed Couldn’t open the window in the bedroom Bedrooms are tired No air conditioning
Friendly attentive staff , polite and very accommodating in our needs
Nothing
Lovely rural location close to Gloucester
Loud music at reception
Lovely situation and parking in the grounds. Spacious, well decorated interior with period details.Terrace and bar for drinks outside overlooking mature gardens and Trees. Breakfast was excellent and optional dinner also. Room was a delight with two arched windows viewing trees. All facilities were of quality and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Key cards were a slight issue, but successfully resolved.
Staff were lovely, especially the lady on reception. Food was delicious, we had the Gnocchi with chicken for dinner. Had to wait for hot breakfast items to be replaced as they soon ran out but there was plenty of choice. The setting was beautiful.
Room was a little tired compared with the rest of the hotel's decor
Location was perfect, a quiet & peaceful location but only 10 minute drive from centre of Gloucester
The stairs was hard work in hot weather
The nice setting.
Not enough outside furniture as there was a wedding on and we had nowhere to sit outside for quite a while on a lovely day.
Welcoming staff excellent room Very well situated Good food and service
Nothing
Nice property ideally located for my work in the area Good food for dinner and breakfast
Room was a little tired and it was a bit of a trek to my room but that’s being picky
Location, lovely staff , lovely room
Breakfast wasn’t great , Luke warm from trays ,
Great location for overnight stop on long journey. Attractive grounds. All the staff were brilliant and the hotel has to be one of the most dog friendly establishments we have stayed, allocating rooms close to an exit door for easy access for the dog. Plenty of on-site parking. Excellent breakfast.
Some of the decor was beginning to look a bit tired in need of a refresh carpets and paintwork. Bathrooms have showers over baths and perhaps in any remodelling level access showers would be better for ease of access.
Excellent breakfast, good choices and very efficient and welcoming service. Exceptional reception for our dog, good doggy pack , lovely welcome and interaction from all staff and nice walks on site All the staff we met were impressive , friendly and super efficient . Set menu and overall package deal very good value for money
Decor is a bit tired in rooms and corridors e.g. bathrooms and corridor carpets . Dining room and reception attractive but chairs in dining room are low for tables, the addition of a cushion made a big difference !
The hotel in a good location Enjoyed the pods by the lake.
Room was quite small no real view and dimmer lights didn't work.
The staff were friendly the room was lovely
We felt a bit awkward and out of place as there was a wedding on and we initially felt uncomfortable. However, the wedding soon moved to a different room and the staff made us feel at home. We wish we had been pre-warned that there was a large wedding on though.
It was good.
The layout of the corridors to the rooms is rather confusing . Lots of stairs to climb and no lift. And no signs to guide you back to reception. Carpets in rooms and corridors have seen better days.
The location of the hotel and the friendliness and willingness of the staff, who were extremely helpful and professional.
Although the breakfasts were fantastic, which I would score at 100%, the evening meals were very poor, both in terms of choice from the menu and the poor standard of the cooked product. I would rate the evening meals/dinner at 50%.
Easy parking and lovely setting. Tasty food and pleasant staff.
Outlook even at first floor was to a conrete section retaining bank but we did request a walk in shower which actually was a full assisted.
Just a nice place to stay
Hospitality and courtesy of staff was excellent. Although we were attending a wedding nearby, it was also my birthday and the staff very kindly made the stay special with a pot of honey, a birthday card and also a mini cake. It was quite unexpected and made my stay extra special.
Perfect Venue for Our Wedding We recently celebrated our small wedding at Mercure Gloucester Bowden Hall, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The venue itself is beautiful, but what really made our day so special was the incredible staff. Every single person we interacted with was welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. They made us feel completely looked after and at ease throughout the day. The food was very enjoyable, and the team serving it were outstanding — polite, attentive, and extremely efficient. Everything ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment. Anna and I would like to sincerely thank the entire team at Bowden Hall for the care, effort, and attention to detail that went into our wedding. It was a truly memorable day, and we couldn’t recommend the venue highly enough. — Marcos & Anna
Breakfast and the grounds..
Warm and friendly service. Excellent buffet food and breakfast.
Not a complaint but more sun parasols would have been welcome in the outdoor seating. The bedroom was extremely hot with an ineffective fan. Unable to open window more than 6 inches with no means of holding it open. It was a very hot day.
