Teeny Tony room . Lights not functioning. Plugs not convenient, had to unplug a lamp to plug in coffee machine or kettle . Staff , only amicable and polite . Nothing noticeable .

The staff were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Upon arrival I immediately felt treated like a long term beloved guest. Hussein on front desk and Anhelina in guest relations really made the whole stay so much more special

If I had to choose anything at all, the rooms feel slightly outdated, but I am clutching at straws here as the stay was absolutely exceptional (they are also in the process of refurbishing their rooms, so this will likely be addressed in the next 12 months or so)

De entrada me dieron una habitación en la que no se podía vivir, sin acceso por ascensor y sin ventanas, eso me obligó a decir en el front-desk que no aceptaba la habitación,y gentilmente me dieron otra que era aceptable. Pero me preocupa volver al Hotel sin saber que me van a dar, frente a la posibilidad que no haya otras disponibles.

Room was spacious and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome with chocolates and a gift for my son. The room was quiet too despite the hotel being very central. Located right on Piccadilly, it was convenient for museums and sight seeing as well as Regent street shopping. We used the swimming pool which was lovely. Did not use the gym but was well equipped. The staff were excellent with help and transport arrangements when plans fell through and were always ready to assist.

The only thing I struggled with was how to order room service but contacted reception who took my order directly and resolved the issue. Everything else was great.

The absolute attentiveness of the room , with roses and a teddy and bottle of wine and beautifull little deserts which were left when we got back from a drink in the bar , all complimentry x thankyou so much xxxx

The location is phenomenal and the recent refurbished areas are just beautiful. I found the rooms comfortable and clean, they are a little older and still going through modernisation, however that’s reflected in the current price, once the full renovation is complete this hotel will cost much more to stay at. The staff I encountered were all super lovely, and the touch of a handwritten note, chocolates and wine in my room were very appreciated. I’ll definitely stay here again when in London.

The water pressure in the shower was pretty woeful. I also tried the cocktail bar at Madhus twice and found the cocktails very ordinary and overpriced both times. They sound nice but taste like meh.

We booked a twin room and was upgraded to a family room, so had a very spacious room with 2 double beds. The location of the hotel was ideal as our visit was to go to the theatre. The theatre was only a 8 min walk and the tube a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Whilst the breakfast was very nice and lots to choose from and the location on the terrace was beautiful, I do think the breakfast was a little pricey. Once checked out, we left our bags at the hotel before going shopping on Regent Street close by. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff were very professional and helpful and I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Die Lage entsprach den Erwartungen und war Top. Das Frühstück ist gut, der Frühstücksraum etwas "kalt" für ein Frühstück- das ist aber Geschmackssache. Entsprechend unseres Anlasses wurden wir auf dem Zimmer überrascht. Schade das das Zimmer selbst keine schöne Lage/ Sicht hatte - mit Baustelle

Der Preis ist für das Alter der Zimmer - auch wenn es London ist - nicht mehr angebracht. ( Obwohl es für Londoner Verhältnisse geräumig war ). Aber das Zimmer ist im gesamten in die Jahre gekommen.

It is a charming building that is being renovated. I have stayed there before and they decorated our room because we were returning guests.

I hope it doesn’t lose any if its charm in the process of renovation.

Purtroppo la struttura è vecchia e a parte le camere hanno una moquettes che grida vendetta. Inoltre, il personale della spa molto scortese e non c’è un’area relax dopo la piscina.

Posizione eccellente. Grande attenzione da parte dello staff per soddisfare qualsiasi richiesta e per rendere il soggiorno assolutamente perfetto. Upgrade gratuito con camera più grande e tante inaspettate attenzioni all’accoglienza. Letto e cuscino comodissimi. Check in anticipato senza alcun problema e check out in orario comodissimo alle 12. Mi è piaciuto tutto.

Se proprio devo scrivere qualcosa preferirei una comoda doccia piuttosto che la vasca con la tenda di plastica. Ma si tratta di un dettaglio perché il bagno era molto comodo e dotato di tutto.

The breakfast only

Unfortunately, this stay fell short of expectations. The room felt outdated, and everything from the furniture to the fixtures gave off a sense of neglect and grime. Despite being promised a quiet room away from work noise and disturbance, I was given an old room with a poor, unappealing view — not what was advertised at check-in. The wall color was extremely dark, which made the whole space feel gloomy and honestly affected my mood during the stay. The bathroom was in particularly rough shape: the door paint was peeling, several fixtures were broken due to moisture damage, and the bathtub had visible green algae — not something you expect at a paid stay. Overall, the property needs serious maintenance attention before I'd consider booking again.

Bathroom was in need of repair. The shower nozzle needed descaling and shot everywhere including the ceiling, ending up as a puddle on the floor. Bath shower could be difficult for people with mobility issues, hip, knee problems.

Gym/Pool staff not very forth coming or helpful. After checking into the pool I had to go back to get towels that weren’t offered to us. Full English Breakfast good be a bit better quality - For £33 I could get similar at the greasy spoon down the road for a fraction of the cost. I’d expect a cleaner and more Superior quality

The rooms are massive, the location between soho and mayfair, superb. The raised terrace for breakfast was great, it has a cruise ship feel. The bar down stairs is also very cool, old school, but cool.

Housekeeping spend a lot of time covering the beds with towel swans and plastic rose petals which took an age to remove. We took the dog and they were a clear choke-hazard. On the terrace, the chairs are very heavy and staff and some guests delight in dragging them across the tiles floor, which is deafening and very unpleasant.

Location excellent

We found it unacceptable that, in a five-star hotel, the showerhead was fixed high on the wall and did not have a flexible hose that could be brought closer to the body. There was also no way to adjust or select the water temperature. These are basic features that should provide comfort, convenience, and personal control. We also found it completely unacceptable that the electrical appliances and lights did not switch off when a guest left the room. This was not only highly impractical but also inconsistent with modern energy-saving practices. Equally problematic was the fact that the room door required considerable force to close properly. Furthermore, the door was so thin and inadequately soundproofed that almost everything happening in the corridor could be heard inside the room. This significantly compromised both privacy and the quality of sleep. For a five-star hotel, we consider these shortcomings unacceptable and believe that they fall well below the level of comfort, quality, and service that guests should reasonably expect from a property of this category.

Very old, it smells like a cigarette and sometimes very spicy food even the rooms… rooms are very old and not comfortable at all. They dont replace the towels( i used a towel and they took it but didnt replace with the new ones?) also there is no vanity kit or dental kits in the bathroom. You have to call and ask for it extra. For the money we paid and as a five star hotel it is a very poor service. And the staff are also not very friendly.

We were only in London for a few days, but we had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the restaurant and breakfast in the terraced area. The standout memory from our brief visit was the Piano Bar in the hotel. The atmosphere and service from the staff were second to none, and we were made to feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed a selection of intriguing cocktails and loved learning about how they were created. Each drink was a unique and mouthwatering experience, featuring ingredients sourced from across the world. For us, it was the warmest and most welcoming place in the entire city. We would give it a huge 10 out of 10 and would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting London.

There were building works and renovations going on outside although there was no sign of that inside the Hotel, and that is about all we could see.

The hotel overall was disappointing. lunch on the terrace was nice.

The room, noisy aircon. lack of plug socket near a mirror. no sofa, only one chair. fridge was not cold. Staff greating us was not overly welcoming. No draws to put clothes. bathroom very small and not alot of room. lighting was bad. no main light and couldn't turn on the shaving mirror light so was annoying at night had a drink in the bar it was so overpriced. 2 drinks £47 a sparkling wine and a whisky. The cost i paid for the room does not reflect the facilities. Thus was supposed to be a superior room. There was nothing that was superior about it.

El vestidor del gimnasio necesita una reforma urgente, el hotel esta un poco deteriorado, tanto en las habitaciones como en los espacios comunes, los pasillos, los muebles... Entiendo que es un gran inversión, y también hay considerar que si estuviera renovado el precio por noche seria otro. El salon de desayuno y el restaurante si han estado recientemente renovados, pero queda el resto del hotel pendiente.

We absolutely love The Dilly, we have stayed multiple times. The rooms desperately need the upcoming refurbishment to match the stunning entrance, restaurant etc they are dated and rundown but the beds have always been comfortable. Staff have always been so lovely and helpful. The location is brilliant. We will be back.

The night room service food options do not include any options for gluten allergies. NOT GOOD! The breakfast options also were not easy to find information on allergies. They really need to update food signs with the allergy information for guests to see. It would make it so much easier as getting staff attention to ask is not always easy as they are so busy. Food signs including allergen information would be such an easy solution that would make a HUMONGOUS difference to those of us with allergies and intolerances.

The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. As this was a special birthday celebration the room had been decorated with balloons etc and a gift of cake and sparkling wine.

No shower gel or soap in the shower or bath provided. The shower system was poor. We were unable to switch the water flow from the overhead shower to the hand held one. Having to queue up at breakfast to make a mug of tea/ coffee at a machine. On previous visit to the hotel this was served at the table. We felt the standards had slipped a bit since our last visit 18 months ago.

It is a quality place so that reflects in price. Most of the staff wonderful and friendly, couldn't do more for you. However the male on desk at the swimming pool was a bit mehhh. Felt a bit out of place at that point. As if I shouldn't be there as he didnt seem that bothered. Not sure if it is cause im short, perhaps he thought I was younger than I am so couldn't be bothered, but he was absolutely the exception. This is my second stay here and I would still return as not the usual encounter.

Lovely stay with my teenage son. Slightly old and tired rooms, albeit very nice and comfortable size (premium Twin) I did however ask for a nice view, not directly critical but anyhow. WE were given a room opposite some building works which was slightly annoying. Great with check out time of noon! We went to breakfast at the end of stay and the serving staff there was quite rude. Not helpful at all and did do nothing when we said that lots of the food was cold (such as waffles/pancakes etc).

F&B staff were great! The doorman who wears hat is amazing and very informative!

It was very central, amazing staff, clean, good aircon and blackout curtains, amazing entrance and bar area, safe lifts, calm pool area, nice gym. Anhelina prepared our room really well, made us feel very welcome and special.

The floor in the room was very creaky, so that was very annoying.

I was informed that I may be charged a penalty because I smoked while standing directly by the open window in my room. I am genuinely very sorry about this. I did not cause any damage to the room or its contents. I only smoked by the open window because I did not feel comfortable going outside alone in the surrounding area, especially later in the evening. I completely understand and respect the hotel's non-smoking policy, and I sincerely apologise for my mistake. I have contacted the hotel and kindly asked them to reconsider the charge, as there was no damage to the room. I truly hope they will take my circumstances and sincere apology into consideration, as this would mean a great deal to me.

The room was a let down, I appreciate that renovations are underway. however the room looked like it had been freshy painted so unsure that's there attempt at renovation. they should charge lower prices for such rooms to match.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour, et surtout la qualité exceptionnelle de l’accueil et du service. Nous sommes arrivés tard le soir et la personne qui nous a accueillis à la réception — dont je regrette de ne pas avoir retenu le nom — a été formidable : chaleureuse, souriante, extrêmement serviable et efficace. Notre demande de dernière minute pour un lit bébé a été prise en charge immédiatement. En arrivant dans la chambre, nous avons eu la très belle surprise de découvrir de nombreuses petites attentions que nous n’avions absolument pas demandées : chocolats, fraise au chocolat, bouteille de vin, pétales de rose et serviettes pliées en forme de cygnes. Ce genre d’attention devient malheureusement rare dans les hôtels et nous a vraiment touchés. Même excellente impression avec l’équipe qui s’est occupée de nos bagages : sympathique, rapide et professionnelle. L’hôtel est élégant, très propre et idéalement situé en plein cœur de Londres, à deux pas de Piccadilly Circus et à quelques minutes de Green Park et Hyde Park. Depuis notre chambre au 8e étage, nous avions même une vue partielle sur le London Eye et Big Ben. Ce que nous retenons surtout, c’est qu’au-delà de son emplacement exceptionnel, cet hôtel offre un véritable sens de l’accueil et un niveau de service que l’on rencontre de moins en moins. Un immense merci à toute l’équipe. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir et recommandons cet établissement sans hésitation !

40 min to order drink at restuarant bar. Asked for food. By the time the person who was ser ing me came back. While dealing with other customers. I was to late to order food of the main menu. I ordered another beer while waiting. Then a second one. Asking for the original brand. Yep 2nd person ran off to go change the barrel. Bar closed around 1 am. I would have thought a 5 star hotel would have 24hr drinking avaliable. The room was shabby. Not able to put plug in sink for a shave. Location of plug sockets on wall hard to charge phone comfortably. Worn and creased carpet in room.

Great location but still a quiet and tucked away haven from central london. Lots of care and attention paid to the checkin process and the room was beautifully prepared. Staff were lovely at the bar in the evening and breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was served on 2nd floor glass terrace which was stunning.

Nothing really to dislike. It is an old building so don't expect minmalist and new, the bathrooms and bedrooms are a good size but have London character.

The location - easy access to all transport facilities ( no car parking) the indoor facilities such as a gym and swimming pool plus more Outside for certain times of the day weather conditions permitted and time of the year Restaurant Indian there is a vip lounge - etc
