Radisson Blu Hotel, London Tottenham Court Road

Very clean room close to the theatre we were going too.

Room was a little small and could only see a wall from the window

Once we had arrived it was a very nice hotel. A good example of Raddison Blu. The location is actually quite good, but the hotel is mis-named. Interestingly the Raddison Blu - Bloomsbury is directly opposite across the road. Staff were good and helpful and the chocolates on reception delightful! One really major win - this hotel had Gluten Free biscuits in the room and reception. Unusual and noteworthy!!! Hopefully a sign of things to come. Breakfast was pretty good but had the usual issue of having to get the GF bread out of the freezer in the kitchen, toasted and delivered to you.

A couple of relatively minor issues. One is the naming of the hotel. Taxi drivers will drop you off at the Raddison Blu at the top of Tottenham Court Road if you ask for the hotel using the name. It happened to us and it's a 15 min walk between the hotels. All the staff know of the problem and sympathise but that's little consolation when you're tired and just want to check in. Getting a taxi at the top of Tottenham Court Road is a virtual impossibility! Second issue is that the restaurant in the hotel is mornings and lunchtime only. Evenings you are directed towards the one at the Raddison Blus hotel across the road. OK but very fancy food and high prices. Between the pair of us (me GF & other no chillies) there was nothing that appealed. Fortunately, other eating establishments are available nearby.

Decor, comfiness of bed

quite small. Bathroom was disappointing, toilet was on an angle and didn’t flush properly and the shower was awful. Took ages to warm up and was like a drip. Certainly not powerful enough for a shower and not what I would expect for spending so much on a hotel.

Great location, comfortable bed but tiny rooms, if you have a couple of cases and are sharing disaster, breakfast had no coffee cups, plates, service was very slow - when coffee cups came everyone grabbed - there were none left again because they only filled one tray…

The staff is delightful, helpful, and responsive to every question and request. The bed is very comfortable, and the room is clean.

I stayed in a single room; aside from the fact that it was extremely small—especially considering the price—the elevators didn't stop at my floor, so I often had to use the stairs. The soap and shampoo dispensers are difficult to use.

The location was amazing. Richard and the team covering the night shift were outstanding. I arrive agitated as I left my handbag in the London Cab and Richard was amazing calming me down saying the cabbie will return it to you and he did. Staff were amazing.

It was a clean hotel, good location near the underground

We paid almost £500 for what we thought was going to be a family room when in fact it was a double room with a pull out couch. Two of us were essentially sleeping on a very uncomfortable pull out couch bed. 4 adults were in a cramped room with a small toilet after paying over €135 each for the room. A family room should mean everyone can at least sleep in a bed, especially for those kind of prices.

The hotel is near Tottenham court road tube station and near the theatre.

The room and bathroom where very small and deco was old. The room was very costly for the size.

Whole experience was great. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Only down side was not serving evening meals in this hotel.

Staff very welcoming and courteous. Location is brilliant - so easy to walk to lots of visitor attractions but also a great neighbourhood for eating out. Room was quieter than expected for such a central location.

The hotel was ideally situated for the theatres we visited, Covent Garden and Oxford Street. It was comfortable and well furnished. A comprehensive tasty breakfast buffet was also enjoyed.

We were dismayed to find that the hotel bar closed at around 10pm just as we returned from our theatre visit and expected to have a nightcap.

Very quiet once the place settled for the night, comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful.

Shower was a little small. Tv could have been positioned better in room 114. Doors to the corridors were on our bedroom wall so was noisy everytime someone used them slamming behind them, (bed could maybe be repositioned off that wall)

Oda aşırı derecede küçüktü. Pencere açılmasına müsaade edilmiyordu, kitlenmişti. Ne kadar klima olsa da odanın küçüklüğünden dolayı cam açma ihtiyacı hissediliyor. Booking’de rezervasyon yaparken kahvaltı dahil seçeneğini seçtim ama, otele gittiğimde kahvaltı dahil olmadığı bilgisi verildi. Buna rağmen çalışan bana iki günlük kahvaltı için ikramda bulundu. 2 günlük seyahat için uygun fakat, uzun süreli konaklamalarda uygun değil.

It was a nice room with inoffensive decor

The staff at check-in offered to have breakfast ready for when I checked out at 6am (I didn't ask, they proactively offered), however this message wasn't passed on so at 6am I was left waiting while staff told me I was wrong and when they did realise the note was there but had been ignored they assured me they would quickly make arrangements. They left me waiting almost 30 minutes to provide me with a breakfast that turned out to be three apples and an orange. No juice, no coffee, no bread or anything else. I had to get a taxi to make up lost time and paid for breakfast twice (once at the hotel, once hours later when I could get something).

God frokost, flott å kunne bestille omelett, stekt egg, kokt egg, det man ønsket. Veldig god beliggenhet. Hyggelig personale i frokostsalen, og resepsjonen. Michael var veldig hjelpsom og hyggelig. Hjalp oss med alt vi trengte av billetter, og svarte på alle spørsmål vi hadde. Rengjøringen var god!

Vi savnet kun en adapter. Kontaktene på hotellet er av den gamle sorten.

Small elevator that could only handle a couple of people with luggage. Last day elevator didn’t work, but did have an alternate down the hall.

Some renos going on led to some not great odors coming through but was addressed promptly once identified. Shouldn't be an ongoing issue.

朝食はとても美味しかったです。ロケーションもとても便利で空港からエリザベス線1本で行けて 駅からも歩いて近いので良かったです。

部屋が狭いので、大きいスーツケースだと置く場所にちょっと迷いました。あと写真だと窓が２つあったので明るい部屋を思い浮かべてましたが、実際は窓小さい窓１つで、しかも暗く景色はすぐ隣の建物で残念でした。あとトイレを流す時、結構力が入りました。

Location was great for everything. Decor and furnishings were clean and in good order.

The room was just a tad small but met our needs as we weren’t in it for any length of time during the day.

Reception arranged a taxi for me and stayed with me until taxi arrived. Then he opened the taxi door for me. Staff very welxoming.

The price is rather costly for 1 night.

The entrance was nice

The room smelt of damp, the teabags were in a draw that smelt fousty and made the teabags tasted awful. Stains on the carpet, wet cloth left on the table. The shower tray had marks and not very well put together as can see it’s wonky. The under neath of the sink wasn’t put together properly. They say it’s 4* but our room didn’t show it. We were only staying for one night but we thought we’d go a little luxury for that one night and treated ourselves. Spent £210 for two of us and we could have got better at a premier inn or travel lodge for cheaper. Really disappointed!

Lovely lady on reception who went out of her way to ensure out room was ready by normal check in time because the early check in we had requested was not available, despite being re-confirmed the day before arrival. Beds were ridiculously comfortable.

An early check in was requested - off the back of an offer, and also re-confirmed the day before arrival when the hotel called me, also checking what time we planned to arrive. Unfortunately when we arrived at stated time the room was not ready and ended up only just being ready at the normal check in time thanks to the amazing lady on reception who went to sort it out herself. A huge credit to the hotel but something she should not have had to do.

Very small rooms. Double bed but against wall on one side in two of the rooms.. Difficult to get to window to open curtains. Minimal room between end of bed and desk so difficult to open doors to fridge and get to kettle Light switch and socket plates fell off when in use, shower door wouldn't shut. Appeared to be only be one small customer. lift accommodating maximum of 4 people and luggage meaning lengthy waits. Also only one tea/coffee machine in dining room for breakfast resulting in queues and long waits.

The hotel is nice and our room was clean. There was only 1 elevator working and the one elevator that did work seemed to have a problem stopping at floor 4. We literally had to punch the #4 button several times before it was activated. We told the front desk a couple times and finally on the second day we told them this was unacceptable I rode the elevator up and down several times and finally they had a maintenance person fix it. When we arrived we had 2 wash clothes after the first day they didn’t replace wash cloths they gave us hand towels to use. When I went to the front desk they said they don’t have wash cloths I said we had them yesterday. Also we had to ask for toilet paper since our person who cleaned the room did not replace the empty roll. The hotel was in a good area for restaurants.

בהגעתנו קיבלנו חדר ובו מיטה אחת ולא שתי מיטות נפרדות כפי שהזמנו. לכן קיבלנו חרד קטן יותר ובו שתי מיטות נפרדות (אחת לי ואחת לילדתי בת ה-16), אך בחדר קטן בהרבה מהחדר הקודם. לא היה ניתן להחליף בהמשך לחדר בגדול שהזמנו מאחר וכל החדרים היו תפיסים לדבריהם

No information about anything .ie how to operate the coffee machine or the safe , in the room . The safe was faulty and had to be replaced . I requested a quiet room if possible . The receptionist , although lovely , gave us room 701 which was next door to some sort of boiler / generator, not so quiet. Poor selection of chopped fruit at breakfast .. mainly melon .
