It was a dump. Stained carpeting. Ripped screen, filthy windows, no breakfast served as advertised

Despite my arrival at 4:30am, the front desk staff was helpful and spent considerable time trying to find me a clean room. Hotel seems safe.

1. I called ahead to let the hotel know I would be arriving late, however this information was not shared or noted and when I arrived I was told I was considered a no show and my room had been given away. After driving all night and arriving at 4:30am, I had to wait over30 mins while the desk agent tried to find me a room and then get the system to release it for me. 2. The hotel was advertised as having free breakfast and this was one of the reasons I selected the hotel. The hotel has eliminated breakfast and removed all vending machines from the hotel. This is a misrepresentation. There are zero amenities. 3. Photos are not representative of the facilities. The hotel is old & dingy. 4. My window blind does not open, and I have no control over the AC/Heating in the room. My room is so humid that my sheets are actually damp. 5. Hotel has apparently been purchased by a major chain and is undergoing renovations. Hotel should be closed until renovations have been completed - The hotel conditions and lack of services makes this a waste of money Note: this was the first of a four night stay.

The carpets are wet. You can tell that the roof is leaking. Everything about the place is damp. The toilets don’t flush. The bathrooms were clean and it was Ok until you flush the toilet

It was almost as cheap as the red roof next door, which looked even worse.

Cleaning staff ignored the "do not disturb" sign and walked into the room while I was undressed. Unbelievable. The front desk staff has no power to do basic things you'd expect from a hotel. Extending the stay means rebooking multiple rooms, changing keys, and re-running incidentals charges on the card.

There was no breakfast but I knew that ahead of my stay. No problem there. The room was clean and quiet. that is all I needed.

There was no breakfast like the listing says. The pool was closed. In our second room, a big chunk of the blinds was missing, and the wood to the closet was falling.

It was the graduation week, the location is close to the north campus so it was good for us. The breakfast was decent nothing fancy but worked well for us. There was enough parking space and the staff was friendly

The property clearly listed a bunch of amenities like a dental kit or shower caps and so while packing we didn't pack these things but on asking we were told that none of those things were available; while this might seem trivial to some but advertising something and then not having some amenities doesn't sit well with me. In one of the rooms the sofa bed was not comfortable at all and the springs felt like poking us.

The location is close to the north campus of Umich, which is good for visiting the Engineering school.

The bathroom floor tiles are cracked and loose, making a sound when stepped on. The edges are protruding, posing a risk of foot injury.

Close to University of Michigan

It was not too clean, the curtains were horrible and needed to me replaced, my toilet over flooded and my sister was not able to make my cousins graduation!!

The rooms were filthy, not updated, rooms were not clean when we first were given the keys, There was mold in one of the showers, urine in one of the toilets all upon check-in. It was a nightmare. I had 4 rooms and all had issues. The fire alarm even went off in one of the rooms because the battery was low. And in another rooms had to be switched because it smelled of urine

The property definitely needed some updates as in the pool was down the blinds and tile in some of the bathrooms needed replaced and fixed. They needed to replace some of the walls in the bedrooms.

No ramp into the breakfast area.

They took incidentals deposit and just kept it. 99% of hotels give back the deposit. I don't know what they do with it

We used to stay here often. Then during one of our stays we were told there was no hot water. We decided to stay anyway. The next time we booked, we had no hot water, but was not told about it in advance. The next time, something else was massively wrong. So we booked it once more, and got a call during our dinner that the rooms had no heat. we decided to go to a different hotel, I must say they at least gave us a heads up this time. That was the end of January, and I am still waitnig for a refund. Needless to say, this hotel is off our list.

The location was great the main road was about 200meters from the location. It was awesomeness quiet. No screaming kits or running in the hallway. Its the cheapest in the area. Even it's short Cummings is not as bad as other places ive been. Alot of open parking. Food options for around the area are quite great.

Blinds where broken. The lamp next to the bed didnt work. The faucet didnt lock for a good shower. The connected restaurant went out of business. Couldn't turn off the heater. Just set it lower. Vending machines not filled regularly. 50.00 insurance cover for the room after I paid in full though booking its been 6 days still haven't got back yet.

The hallway carpets have a few stains, but with a pet friendly hotel you'll have that. Not a big deal.

We didn't even check in. The grounds had not been maintained in weeks and the parking lot was completely empty with no signs of guest. Pool was closed and it didn't mention pool closed when we booked. Looked like ownership has abandoned maintaining the hotel.

Location was perfect for my activities. It was quiet at night. Room was clean & had good lighting, comfortable bed. Pleasant staff. Great natural foods grocery store next door!

Near impossible to find (NO SIGNAGE at all). Breakfast was very standard fare. My room looked out over the entrance canopy and I could not see anything other than a sliver of sky.

For a last minute decision (Wednesday) to stay in Ann Arbor Thursday night due to an early doctor visit at U of M Hospital, the rate was exceptional compared to other nearby hotels. (It was only 15 minutes away from the hospital.) There were several very nice restaurant options in the immediate vicinity. The staff was very nice and they had afternoon freshly made cookies for guests in the lobby area. The room was perhaps a little smaller than other hotels I've stayed in recently (and the bath sink had a smaller amount of counter space than others), there was plenty of room for our needs and the king bed was comfortable. The hot breakfast was much, much better than I expected it would be for the room rate charged. This is an excellent choice for a stay in northeast Ann Arbor! It would certainly be worth a look by others planning a stay and will be my choice if I have a need to stay again. Excellent Hotel!

They could have had plain instant oatmeal packets; they only had 3 different flavored oatmeal options. Also, perhaps another non-sugary boxed dry cereal option (shredded wheat or raisin bran); they did, I think, have rice krispies.

Great location, great value for the money and loved the continental breakfast. That was amazing! The guy who checked me in was very nice and gave me a giddy bag!

Breakfast was good; front desk staff was very nice. Free parking. Bathroom was clean and so was the room (it was an accessible room which I did not reserve but it was fine).

For the price, it was below average. There was nothing walking distance to eat. Ubers are hard to find; I was cancelled 3x at 4:3oam to get to airport and luckily I called Ann Arbor Taxi service I found on google and they picked me up right away and I barely made my flight. The roof on the hallway had mold on the tiles. The rug was old.

The room was nice and bed comfortable.

The property pretty worn out. There was no room makeup service for any of the 3 nights we spent there. The hallway carpets are dirty and worn. The breakfast was blah and the coffee undrinkable.
