The room was great, a good size for a family to stay

Had to ask for pull-out bed sheets and blankets. Only 1 roll of TP was provided; had to ask for more.

Wonderful breakfast with omelettes, biscuits and gravy and fresh cinnamon rolls. Staff was friendly and the beds were actually very comfortable.

The bed was very comfortable. The sheets soft and pillows werer good. The Bathroom looked good but (see below). The towels were adequate (3 sets available). Loved having the room immediately after exiting the elevator.

The bathroom's shower could have been cleaner. The cushions on the sofa bed side of the seating were a little flattened from use but they did seem clean.

Great sized room with everything you need to be comfortable and sleep.well.

No streaming services and a smaller than preferred TV. It's very out of touch to only offer cable channels (with loads of ads) so please consider keeping pace with your competitors and add streaming TVs like we had at two Hilton properties this vacation. It makes all the difference!

The pull out sofa needs a new mattress. Its very uncomfortable. The mattress is uneven and you can feel the bars.

BREAKFAST WAS GOOD ALONG WITH THE COFFEE. THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH MY CHECK IN AS BOOKING NEVER SENT OVET THE CHANGED DATES, BUT THE FRONT DESK..I THINK HER NAME WAS MELISSA, WAS ALL OVER IT TRYING TO HELP GET ME CHECK IN PROMPTLY. CALLED HER BOSS, REVIEWED THE MANUAL FOR EXTERNAL BOOKING AND IT WAS ON BOOKING.COM'S SIDE OF THINGS. I WAS ON HOLD WITH THEM WHILE SHE WAS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT MY ISSUE ON THE BACKEND. ALL THINGS WERE TAKEN CARE OF AND I WAS ABLE TO CHECK IN AFTER ABOUT 23 MIN AFTER ARRICAL

The continental breakfast had some of the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had; the rest of it was just ok. Also, the coffee was excellent.

The ice maker being broken on our floor was a bummer.

The pool tile is nasty, it need scrubbed. And they took the hot tub out!

Cinnamon roll was good. Bed was decent.

Dog food all over the floor in our room upon arrival. At least it didn’t smell like dog. Breakfast was largely not edible, and I’ll eat just about anything. Eggs tasted like lukewarm plastic. Fridge compressor was very loud and had to unplug st night.

The staff at check in was great and very friendly.

The price of the room could have been a little cheaper. The hotel is slightly older, but it is very clean!

Booked this hotel months ahead of the big Thanksgiving game knowing we had to drive in to A2 to meet our daughter. This location was so easy, 11 mins away from her apt, it was immaculately clean, and there was coffee, tea, oatmeal in the lobby starting at 6am. I liked this hotel so much I rebooked it for her graduation in May.

I was very disappointed that this hotel didn’t have a hot tub even thought it’s pictured on the website. I would have chosen a different hotel because of this. Very misleading.

Although this Holiday Inn is listed as "no pets" on the website, there was a dog barking in the room next to mine from around 6:30-7 a m. on Monday, Sept. 22, 2025. Very annoying!

The staff that work at the front desk seem to work hard and do their best. We were impressed with their efforts. However, the room we stayed in was extremely outdated and stains were everywhere. There were also stains all over the carpets throughout the hallways and elevators of the hotel. The bathroom in our room was not clean. A main light was not working at all so they switched us to another room but the review still applies, if not more so. The front desk did mention that they are in the process of their "ten year renovation" (didn't see any signs of this other than maybe the lobby), and the room we were in looked like it hadn't been renovated in over twenty years. Furthermore, we did not have a smart TV so there was no movie watching or streaming at all! Just a lame channel lineup with a terrible picture. We were not expecting this and between that and our room, it felt like we stepped back in time. Had we known, we would not have rented at this hotel because we were two moms on a girls' trip with our middle school and high school age daughters. Watching a movie was part of the planned fun! We also opted out of using the pool. It did not look clean or up to date. Breakfast was probably the best value there. I'm sorry to have to give a negative review, but until this hotel is renovated I cannot recommend it.

Love this stay. The suite was súper clean and equipped with everything. I will be back for sure !!

The breakfast was very plain and only mashed eggs, thin pancakes when working and sausages that seemed a bit undercooked. The staff however were very pleasant and helpful.

Grossly overpriced. Probably the most I've paid for a motel, therefore making the following problems inexcusable. Wifi signal strength fluctuated and frequently dropped (and this was just to read messages, news, and other low demand uses). Heating/cooling unit was so loud that it had to be turned off; fortunately, weather was such that temperature remained acceptable in room, but some air circulation would have been nice. Probably the worst towels I've seen in a hotel - very thin and cheap. If the cost of the room was 1/3 of what I paid, I wouldn't mention this. Haven't stayed in a HIE in quite a while; they used to be very good, but after this experience I won't use one again if I have other options

Clean room, excellent staff, good continental breakfast. It was a little loud and little overpriced, but other than that, nice stay.

Very pleased with our choice! The building and rooms are clean and well maintained. The proximity to Michigan Stadium is perfect. They even offer a shuttle service to the games. We did not use this service but it is a great extra perk!

I had an excellent stay here. I stayed here last year for the Michigan game and will be staying here next year. We had a suite and it was very comfortable and breakfast was great. Me only issue was no signal in the excerise room and I work out with music but couldn’t

The room was so dark you could not read a book without opening the window shades, but we were on the ground floor where anyone can look in. It was frustrating not to have bright light when working at the desk or doing paperwork or even sitting in the chair that had a light fixture just over my head that gave off a yellow glow. It was like living in a cave. I would walk into the entry way or the bathroom to read properly. The property was nice, the bed was comfortable, the people were nice, location was great. Put in a central light so you can see to pack your bags!!

The absolute best customer service we have ever had at a hotel. The front desk agent, Melanie, has been so kind and welcoming to us! She made sure we had everything we needed and we appreciated it so much that we’re writing this review. We definitely will be coming back!

We came from Seattle with family to attend our granddaughter’s graduation. We spent 4 nights at the Holiday Inn Express and were very impressed. The room was impeccable, the staff were so friendly and the breakfast was very, very good with many choices and they were all quite tasty. I might add that their warm cinnamon rolls were a real treat. The bed was comfortable with very nice bedding and a choice of pillows. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay in Ann Arbor.

We liked the dining options within walking distance. Our room had modern accommodations and was comfortable. The staff was friendly. The area was lovely and quiet.

the evening staff is exceptional. A man working evening shift was superb. The lady who works nights at the Reception was excellent.

converting to IHG points was impossible, as I booked over Booking dot Com, and that did not allow me to get IHG points. What a disappointment of IHG loyalty program (not Holiday Inn problem)

Great stay! Besides for the pool needing a good cleaning it was nice. The floor of the pool was Slimy and the tile around the pool was green. Other than that breakfast was top notch and the rooms were nice!
