Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Regina Downtown

Room was great. Burger in lounge was yummy.

Mouthwash had been opened - yuk. At check-in I was not informed we were eligible for free breakfast. I found out when I asked at checkout. And I think there was a mix up with rooms as our keycard stopped working. They reactivated but then phoned us to come down with Identification. I had presented ID at checkin but it was ignored.

Everything was very nice. The room was great and clean and all the staff from check in to complimentary breakfast the next day were all wonderful and helpful and happy.

Nothing

It’s within good walking distance from Mosaic Stadium

Room was very dated and old, our faucet handle broke, the whole room could’ve used some air. Very stale, not worth 200$

Convenient, well kept and great amenities. Rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Love streaming options instead of boring old cable.

I didn’t like that you have to pay for a late or early check in. That’s a money grab and I don’t appreciate that considering the cost of a hotel room already. Either you can accommodate or not.

Location and check in was fast. Nice room and breakfast was included.

We found a used sock under the sink in the bathroom. Otherwise it was clean.

Breakfast

Majority of staffs especially on reception are not approachable, polite, no basic customer service ethics.

Super comfy beds. Awesome pillows. The pool is very spa-esque. Great location for foodies.

Hair was in the tub upon arrival, no biggy. The towels all had stains…like they smelled clean but the stains were off-putting.

Close to good restaurants

Nice lobby Comfy bed and pillows

The pool/ hot tub area could use some work.

The location was good. The room was clean and comfortable.

The pool was is in very bad repair. Loose and missing tiles, rotten wood and rusty rebar show on the side of the hot tub.

The room was okay. The bed was good. The bathroom to small no room toilet to tub and dangerous step in bathroom getting out of the tub or shower.

Are Hallway door stuck and talking to other guests in hotel same thing. And a lounge in a hotel not open and a cafeteria not open either. And location good but not good with a noisy bar across the way. And not being able to get real cutlery instead of plastic. Nothing is open in the hotel but the pool . GUests want more then that. I had to go across the way to find a lounge open and same for food. It isnt worth the price to pay for the room plus to be gouged to park in the parkade.

It was very clean

My last night there, there was loud music all afternoon and through the night

Great hotel

Everything was great

Nice hotel

Great hotel

Very clean Beds were extremely comfortable

Very nice, renovated rooms and a good amenities

Just no under ground parking

Convenience of location, very clean, room is great pillows superb.

Nothing, perhaps we thought parking was included but it wasn’t.

Clean Beds were great.

Hot tub jets did not work. Was told they were not supposed to

I really liked the customer service. I was very impressed with the front desk attendants (Ryan) willingness to accommodate our needs. He was a clear and concise communicator and was very helpful. Customer service like that is hard to find.

The stay was amazing-the one thing I would have liked is the gym to be separate from the pool. I found it very humid when working out. That's not really within the hotels direct control so I wouldn't count that as something to hold against the hotel on the whole

Location was good, room was clean.

No option for digital key card so we had to get keys reprogrammed twice. Only room service options so we went and had brunch across the street at the DoubleTree Hotel.

I like the beds

The traffic noise

I like beds.and under ground parking

The traffic was a bit loud but however it is down town.

We booked a special room on thos site and received a very downgraded very old musty small room, this hotel is very old and no updates, even the TV lagged...people talked but the sound came a minute after...this was an absolutely horrible experience...the room had paper thin walls we could here EVERYTHING going on in the next room...we were told management moves around guests so that's why we got stuck in this situation...and booking .com does nothing to help...we traveled for a great experience and got a nightmare...BE VERY AWARE OF THIS HOTEL AND BOOKING.COM.

The front desk staff...that's it.

Central to shopping, mall, casino, and good restaurants near by

Location was great

The smoke detector in the room was beeping all night. Phoned the front desk and they said someone would be up to change it. Waited an hour and still nothing. Finally gave up on sleeping and checked out. Told the front desk and they didnt seem to be bothered. Very disappointing.

We love the pool area.

When we went inside the room there's some kind of smell. And the room was too dark, maybe because of the carpet rug.

clean and updated

i had to pay $25 for breakfast that looked in the booking window that it was included or $12 kind of false advertising

Room was ice cold due to no heat. Food was lukewarm at best. Couldn’t get out of there soon enough to try to warm up.

Heat the restaurant. Also, perform routine room maintenance to ensure frigid air from the outside at minus 45 was not pouring in from the bottom of the window wall in our room.

Staff were amazing

Having to pay for toast , coffee It should be included with your breakfast package

Both times I stayed at the Ramada. The climate control in the rooms did not work properly. Maintaince did fix quickly both times .

Location was awesome for the football game

Good downtown location, excellent front desk service and the underground parking which is appreciated.

Can’t think if anything

It was central to the places we were going.

There was a lack of communication between what I had been told through bookings.com and online check in with check in staff. I had been assured we had side by side rooms but staff was not aware. Also the bill was higher than expected.

Bed was really comfortable

Hairs from previous user shoved inside towels

Room service not available. You could phone kitchen, then they would pack your order to go an call you to come pick it up. Hot tub broken and that was the reason for going.

The literally lock you into the hotel at night which is a fire hazzard

affordabilty and location

No free breakfast or breakfast not included

Clean

The breakfast was adequate, but the location of the Dining area being next to the main entrance into the building is a bad design feature for those cold Saskatchewan wintry days. It was terribly cold whilst we were eating.

See above

Everything, location was brilliant

Front desk staff at check inn and out was hopeless

Everything

Front desk staff completely useless

It was great, bed was very comfortable.

Door between room let through quite a bit of sound.

Room was clean and the tub was great.

The hotel was so noisy, we could hear the conversation word for word of the people in the room next to us. Then people in the hallway were so loud and the gap under the door was so large. For a hotel I would expect better sound proofing for this reason. It’s the noisiest hotel I’ve stayed in. There was no fan in the bathroom which was super odd. Not able to open the window, it was really stale and stuffy in the room an option for fresh air would be nice. The screen casting on the tv did not work and we tried it on 5 different devices. The wifi wouldn’t connect.

Worked fine for our one night stay

Convenient location, lots of parking, friendly staff.

Slow service in the restaurant.

The beds and pillows were comfortable. Great location.

The building is old but the rooms were renovated.

The bed was super comfy

Dirty, sticky carpet, dirty hot tub.

Great location for what we needed. Nice lobby.

Room was in need of update and very cramped. Bathroom didn’t have exhaust fan.

Good staff, good location, clean facilities.

Sink backsplash unfinished, uncaulked, misfitting and had wax pencil marks at three places. Motion activated washroom light shut off in mid shower! Could not over ride. Elevator did not service parking garage so had to haul suitcases up stairs. Hot tub was tepid, so did not use.

Lots of great dining options nearby.

Good location Comfortable bed

Expensive parking. Breakfast not included. Poor ventilation. Dusty surfaces. Room magnetic keys stopped working multiple times. Washroom door difficult to close. Overall, it is not worth the price.

Not much other than location

Mostly everything Very noisy hallways

The staff was very friendly.

The pool had a hole in the roof and was leaking dirty water and chunks of the ceiling were falling into the pool. The breakfast was so gross we didn’t eat it (server was great. Food yuck) waited in kookies for 15 m with no service

Clean parking

The size of the room

There was pictures that showed a very large jet tub in the room and there was not , coffee machine did not work and it took 25 mins of running the shower before the water warmed up
