Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Sina Suites is truly a hidden gem of Cancun if you enjoy the authentic experience of Mexico. The rooms are large and clean and the staff is always available and willing to help. They have a large, relaxing out door pool and a dock overlooking the lagoon, where you can see the entire hotel zone lit up at night, including the Skywheel in La Isla across the lagoon. Situated in a quiet cul de sac at the north end of the hotel zone, it is quieter and more relaxed than other more prominent resorts. It also makes using UBER easier since the area isn't as heavily controlled by the "taxi cartels" found at other places in the hotel zone.I would definitely visit again.
If it's your first time in Mexico, there is a few things about staying here you should know. Central air conditioning is not very common, and while every unit does have a mini split which works well in the sleeping area, the front living room doesn't get very cool. But it does have a ceiling fan so that helps. Also, and this is very important, Sina suites is an older complex than some of the other resorts in the hotel zone. The older plumbing systems in many parts of Mexico, are not designed to flush ANYTHING but human waste, including used toilet paper. There is always a trash bin next to the toilets for toilet paper and the staff does an excellent job keeping them clean and tidy every day, but when staying here follow this rule when using the toilets: "If it doesn't come out of your body, it goes in the trash."

La atención del personal puede mejorar para hacer la estancia mas agradable. La habitación que nos tocó es amplia pero una decoración muy simple , fría, sin vida. S mi parecer y desentona con el ambiente alegre de Cancún.

La televisione non funzionava. La colazione. Niente di che , inoltre il secondo giorno era disponibile solo la colazione continentale (pane e marmellata) ed era disponibile un'ora dopo del previsto. Consiglio di far colazione fuori assolutamente.

Es war alles sehr wohlwollend, tolles Ambiente an der Lagune sowie am Pool. Das W-Lan hat auf der gesamten Anlage sehr gut funktioniert. Sehr seriöse Abwicklung (auch Zahlungsmodalitäten). Wir wurden herzlich aufgenommen (allgemein freundliches Personal), durften früher Einchecken und nach dem Auschecken noch den Pool nutzen. Toll ist, dass gleich ein Restaurant am Pool dabei ist. Wir würden immer wieder kommen!

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026El lugar es muy bonito, las habitaciones cuentan con gran espacio y unas camas fabulosas para descansar, la alberca tiene una altura ideal para nadar un rato y descansar, los alimentos y bebidas son deliciosos con una gran relación calidad-precio. En cuanto a la atención del personal fue más que buena. Sin duda regresaría a este lugar!
Todo fue maravilloso, únicamente en una de las habitaciones que rentamos la Srta. Encargada de la limpieza a veces descuidaba un poco detalles como acomodarnos las almohadas, dejar los productos de higiene personal y cambiar toallas de baño. Pero fuera de eso, todo fue sumamente agradable. Creemos que son pequeños detalles que al final a grandes razgos no perjudicaron nuestra gran experiencia en el lugar.

Banheiro pequeno. Uma boa caminhada até a avenida. Não oferecer café incluso na diária, café pago caro e escasso. Uma camareira chamada Helena, muito grosseira e estúpida no trato.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Room was very spacious, stayed in a junior suite. Cleaned whenever needed. AC was great! Hotel has a nice pool even though more on the hot side, it was still great. Views from the restaurant/pool were amazing. Breakfast had a nice variety of options and was very good as well. Location was great, a little walk from the main avenue, about 10 minutes and about 15 minutes from a little mini mart which had snacks, food, subway, drinks, alcoholic drinks and miscellaneous stuff to buy and able to take to your room. Even though I didn't need the parking, had parking for guests as well.
There was nothing that I didn't like. Everything was great, exceeded my expectations in all aspects.

Bueno no tiene playa o mar, porque esta en la laguna, le falta luz a la alberca por la noche puedes nadar pero esta muy oscuro, y quizás algunos precios en restaurante algo elevados pero para la calidad si lo vale. En general mucho mejor las cosas buenas!

It's only a couple of blocks from my dentist so I could walk. The bar (especially the bartender!) and food were wonderful. All the staff goes out of their way to help with anything you need. Beautiful setting on the lagoon and huge pool. There is a filtered water cooler in the lobby so you can refill your bottle.
The first downstairs room they gave me had mold everywhere. I refused to stay there so they moved me to a beautiful upstairs suite. In the upstairs suite, there were tiny ants in the bedroom. There is no AC in the living room or kitchen, only the bedroom, and it was very hot. You have to put your used toilet paper in the trash. There are signs not to put it in the toilet. The downstairs rooms are very dark. In both rooms there is no stove or oven. But both times I've been they were able to give me an electric skillet to use.
The pool area and the pool were amaaaazing. It was at the start of the strip, so the location was fine. But not very walkable. Needed uber always.

The location wasn’t walkable. That’s not convenient. Showers were very very hot. One woman at the reception was very nice. Spoke very good English and guided very well.
The other one didn’t speak much clear English and she wasn’t too help Gul.

En la ducha el agua salía demasiado caliente y no se podía regular, incluso la llave del agua fría.
It's cloistered away far from the beach, or other touristy things. We wanted to change hotels, this space did not meet our needs and expectations, and the management told us it was our fault, and there would be no refunds. We stayed only an hour, and went somewhere else that was amazing. I suggest you look elsewhere to stay in cancun

Dispone di un ristorante nella palapa che si affaccia sulla laguna di Cancun, dove abbiamo cenato e fatto colazione con buone proposte.

Se encuentra un poco alejado de las principales playas y la zona nocturna, sin embargo lo resolvimos llamando uber que tenía buen precio y llegaba rápido.

Reviewed Jun 24, 2026The room was huge with two beds, a kitchen area and a seatiing area. The air conditioning was perfect for the 30°+ heat outside. The pool area and bar were lovely and all staff were attentive. Bathrooms were very clean and housekeeping always kept the towels refreshed and restocked shampoo and soap. The hotel was located in a wonderful area - easily accessible to the bars and restaurants.
There was no iron which would have been useful.

Nothing on the website mentioned that the restaurant and bar were closed all day Monday. The restaurant looked it was in a bunker on the property. If it was an adult only property why was there no deep end in the pool. The bar was a joke. One had a choice of two beers Dos XX and Corona. The latter i don’t consider a beer. So in my opinion this is Ana was never a Bar. I would never recommend to an anyone to stay at this hotel. The only aspect that was positive was the rooms were large and the beds were comfortable. This is for Booking.com, why were these issues I pointed out not posted on the website. Overall very disappointing.

Immense suite très propre et confortable. Très bonne literie, bonne wifi. Très propre, grande salle de bain (bonne pression d’eau dans la douche). Dispose de plusieurs rangements, d’une cuisine avec un grand frigo, micro-ondes, cafetière et bouilloire.
Notre chambre donnait sur le joli jardin tropical.
Hôtel calme car un peu en retrait mais est très bien placé pour se déplacer en voiture aussi bien dans la zone hôtelière qu’en centre ville.
Le personnel est adorable.
Dispose d’un service de blanchisserie très abordable et rapide (on a donné le linge le matin et ils nous l’ont rendu l’après-midi).
La piscine est agréable.
Nous avons mangé deux fois au restaurant et c’était vraiment bon.
Je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

Reviewed May 24, 2026Hervorragende Lage mit eigenem Strandabschnitt incl. alles was man am Strand braucht, sehr sauber und sehr guter Frühstück, Personal ist ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit.
Im Haus-eigenen Restaurant kann man auch sehr gut zu Abend essen. Jedes Gericht wird sehr gründlich erklärt und auf alle wünsche eingegangen wird.

The shower was a little too cold for my liking, but you get used to it with Mexico's heat. Aside from that, the only thing I didn't like is that a door connects with your next door neighbors and sometimes you can hear them while in your apartment.

The location was far from everything, no coffee shops or other restaurants near by. Felt like the only restaurant in the hotel was not worth the money.
