The male receptionist was so bad, he didn’t help at all didn’t want to do his job every time I asked a question he would get bother,
Hotel is not too far from Powell Street Bart station. We were made very welcome by the receptionist Madz who was extremely helpful and informative. Sje made our stay special. Our room is very spacious and very well decorated with a big bathroom and a large TV. The hotel is close to Union Square and has plenty going on around it for dining etc. Looks a great place to stay. There is free coffee all day in the lobby area. We had breakfast every day. There is also a bar at the hotel.
Ben was the front desk reception checking us in and he was so kind and helpful! He let us check in earlier and even waived the early check in fee for us! Such a positive energy and hotel is super cute and has amazing views from the balcony in our room!
Ben was extremely kind and welcoming at check-in.
We had a great stay at Hotel Zeppelin. The location was excellent, the hotel was comfortable, and the service really stood out. A special thank you to Maria at the front desk who checked us in. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay special, including surprising us with breakfast vouchers. It was a small gesture that we really appreciated and that made a great first impression. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and would definitely stay at Hotel Zeppelin again. Thank you, Maria!
We arrived last night in the hotel and was greeted by a lovely lady in the desk named Madz. Checking in at the hotel was straightforward it was quick and easy. Madz gave us a clear instruction on how to get into our room. As a first timer in SFO Madz made us comfortable with her warm personality. She even took her time to advise us on how to get around the area. The hotel itself is nicely decorated. We had the King size room it is big and spacious . Room was very clean . Bed and pillow was very comfortable to sleep on. Location was perfect it was in the centre and close to everything. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to come and explore San Francisco.
Ben was super great during the check in process! Really appreciated his help and getting me a room early.
was a clean and very minimal noise level based environment to be able to sleep would definitely return only recommendation is that at brunch to have a certified or licensed bartender at the bar was the guy [resent does not now how to make generic cocktails
Amazing staff. Kris and Madz made me feel right at home from check in. Really clean and cool vibe in the hotel lobby as well as really well designed rooms with a super comfy bed. Very affordable especially given the location. I will be back next time I am in town!
-Posizione strategica, adiacente a Union Square -Grande hall con zona relax -Presenza di una sala giochi -Ristorante
-Camera leggermente piccola, comoda solo per brevi soggiorni -No parcheggio, se non uno convenzionato ma a pagamento
Amazing experience! Highly recommended. The area is good and the hotel as well! If I come back to San Francisco I’ll be in Zeppellin again.
I was greeted with a warm smile by the front desk receptionist named Ben. He was so kind and knew I was checking a little early and allowed to me check in. He honestly made my day because I was having anxiety having to leave my stuff unattended. Thank you so much for your customer service Ben. I would give him 6/5 stars if I could. The hotel is nice and located centrally as well.
We stayed at Hotel Zeppelin as a couple in July 2026. Overall, I’d give it 3 out of 5. There were definitely things we liked about the hotel, but the overall experience was pretty lackluster for us. We arrived in San Francisco early in the morning and took BART into the city. By the time we got to the hotel, it was around 11:30 a.m. or noon. We asked if there was any possibility of checking in early since our flight had arrived early, but we were told there was no early check-in available and that we would have to wait until 3 p.m. They did offer to hold our luggage, which we appreciated. We made the best of the time and went to brunch, walked around the Union Square/Powell Street area, explored downtown, and went over to the IKEA on Market Street. Honestly, the location is probably one of Hotel Zeppelin’s biggest strengths. You’re close to Union Square, Powell Street transit, shopping, restaurants, and plenty of things you can walk to. We returned around 3 p.m., and our room was ready. This is where things became unnecessarily confusing. Our room number started with a 4, so naturally we went to the fourth floor after being directed toward the elevator. We eventually learned from a housekeeper that our room was actually accessed through the third floor and that we needed to cross over into another tower. We had not been told during check-in that the hotel had separate towers or given clear directions explaining how to reach our room. Once we crossed over to the other tower, we discovered that the elevator there was out of service. That meant carrying all of our luggage up a narrow flight of stairs while other guests were trying to come down. After traveling all morning, it wasn’t exactly the welcome we were expecting. The biggest issue wasn’t even that the elevator was broken. Things break. The problem was that nobody explained any of this when they handed us our room keys. A simple “You’re in the other tower, take the elevator to the third floor, cross over, and be aware that the other elevator is currently out of service” would have made a huge difference. The room itself was fine. It wasn’t huge, but it was about what I’d expect from a hotel room in a major city. Coming from New York City, smaller rooms don’t really bother me. I actually liked the design and especially the sliding barn-style bathroom door. The room had air conditioning, a nice TV, and a small refrigerator, but no microwave. Overall, it was comfortable but fairly basic. Noise was another issue. There was construction noise during our stay, and at night we could hear people above us walking and stomping around. If you’re a light sleeper, that’s something I’d keep in mind. We did enjoy the downstairs bar and happy hour. It was convenient to be able to come back to the hotel and grab a drink without going somewhere else. The food was pretty standard bar food. Nothing memorable, but it did the job. Another frustration was trying to call the front desk from the room. Getting someone to answer the phone was difficult. They may have simply been busy, but when you’re already dealing with an inconvenient room location and an elevator that’s out of service, not being able to easily reach the front desk adds to the frustration. I do want to give Hotel Zeppelin credit for its personality. It’s quirky, different, and has a cool San Francisco feel instead of looking like every other hotel. We liked the decor and the uniqueness of the property. I can understand why some travelers really enjoy it. For us, though, the style wasn’t enough to make up for the overall experience. Nothing was disastrous, and we made the best of our stay, but there were too many little inconveniences and communication issues that added up. Would we stay here again? Probably not. On another trip to San Francisco, we’d likely choose a more traditional Hilton, Marriott, or another property where the overall experience feels a little more seamless. Hotel Zeppelin has a great location and plenty of personality. It just needed better communication and a smoother guest experience to make us want to return.
Retro vibe, location big comfortable room Great shower
Breakfast options, need more staff
If you’re looking for a reasonably priced family and pet friendly hotel that is close to everything with onsite restaurant and game room then you can’t beat the Hotel Zeppelin. It’s my favorite place to stay when I’m in SF. But it’s not perfect and could benefit from some retraining or renovations. Staff is friendly but inconsistent with requests. When called upon for fire logs for the fireplace, I’m told they don’t know where it’s stored. Or they will deliver a fire log but forget a lighter. The rooms are a great value for their size. The Zeppelin apartment is massive but not luxurious as it lacks such modern amenities like Bluetooth speakers or in-wall USB charging ports. These are minor inconveniences for sure. Just don’t expect a luxury penthouse experience. The apartment is really just a large one bedroom suite (without the extra luxury features) but still a great value in SF!!
Location , lobby was attractive and had a stylish feel.
The smell on the guest floor hallways was stale and not pleasant. Light in room flickers and shade on lamp completely torn .
Hotel Zeppelin was such a vibe! 🙌 From the moment we walked in, the energy, music, and whole atmosphere were just SO good. It has that cool, fun San Francisco feel without trying too hard. We even got a free upgrade, which was such a nice surprise! But honestly, what made the stay extra special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and a special shoutout to Madz, seriously one of the friendliest people ever! ❤️ Loved the music, loved the vibe, loved the people. We had the best time and would absolutely stay here again! 🎶✨
The staff is rude and/ or put off by guests. Every interaction seems like it was an annoyance. The thoughtful design/ vibe is terribly inconsistent with the people who work there - making the vibe seem fake.
The room wasn't cleaned despite our requests; they only brought fresh towels without taking away the dirty ones, and the coffee ran out quickly in the morning.
The location of the hotel was excellent. The room was clean and had good amenities. Plus the hotel had a really great games area for entertainment. The hotel did seem to lack atmosphere though and the front desk staff were neither very friendly or helpful, which was disappointing. I also observed other instances of poor service to other clients. Very much an average review I am afraid.
Great experience as always! Friendly staff, nice amenities. Just a solid, reliable hotel in Union Square. I'll stay here every time!
We stayed at the Hotel Zeppelin when doing a bunch of activities in the city with friends. The scene outside the hotel felt a bit sketch at night but inside the hotel we felt relaxed. Our room was pretty good except the bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed and the lighting was kinda dim unless you had all the lights on. I liked the funky decor and it was actually pretty quiet at night. Our room had zero view but it was good value for our purposes.
Like the hotel
Front desk was rude and room was tiny
Nothing
Cold staff. Very bad location. Dangerous streets.
The hotel was very nice, with spacious and comfortable rooms in a good location. The staff were friendly and helpful, although there was a strong focus on repeatedly introducing themselves and encouraging guests to leave TripAdvisor reviews. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay and found the location to be a real plus.
Upon checking into our room, my son opened the window and the entire window unit fell out, shattering inside the room. Thankfully nobody was injured, but it could easily have resulted in a serious accident. We immediately reported the incident, however no apology was offered and it felt as though the hotel was attempting to place the blame on us rather than acknowledging the seriousness of what had happened. To make matters worse, the following day we noticed contractors replacing windows on another floor of the hotel, suggesting they were already aware of issues with the windows. In our view, our room should have been prioritised given the obvious safety risk. This incident significantly impacted our confidence in the property's maintenance and management of guest safety.
Madz was incredibly helpful and professional. Great experience.
I stayed here 3 nights for the SF Marathon. The price is great for the location. You are a block away from Union Square, and two blocks away from downtown. You are walking distance from a muni station, and a bart station. Ideal if you want to explore SF, or go catch a game at Oracle or Chase. Downsides: the hotel is small, and acts like it. The drop iff area is tiny, and when I arrived, it was occupied by construction trucks. I had to circle around until a spot opened up. The staff is nice, but undermanned. The “lobby” is really small, and lines formed quickly for check in and check out. There only two elevators, so sometimes you had to compete or use the stairs. The hotel doesn’t seem to have a back entrace, and the construction crew had to use the front door and guest elevators to come in and out. Overall, it was an ok choice for the location, but next time I might just pay extra for the more name brand hotels.
We had such a wonderful stay at Hotel Zeppelin! The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. They even texted to make sure I was happy and asked if I needed anything, which made the stay feel so personal. They also allowed me to add extra time for a late checkout, and I truly appreciated that. The room was comfortable, and the decor throughout the hotel was a whole vibe—from the games in the game room to the flower peace signs. The location was perfect, especially being so close to Union Square, which made it easy to take Cloudee out for potty breaks. The valet team was great too. The elevator was temporarily down, but they immediately had an engineer come help me up the stairs, which was so thoughtful and handled perfectly. Everyone made us feel welcome, including Cloudee (service dog). I was genuinely so happy with our stay and would absolutely stay here again!
It was a nice, central location. We loved the atmosphere and the game room. The room was clean and big for four people (for a city hotel) and the staff was very helpful and service minded (Madz and Kris). Thank you for a nice experience 😊
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Zeppelin in San Francisco, made even more memorable by the exceptional hospitality of Madz at Reception. From the moment we arrived on Monday, Madz made us feel genuinely welcome. Her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding. She took the time to ensure everything was perfect, even giving us a courtesy call to Room 511 shortly after check-in to make sure we were happy and comfortable. That thoughtful gesture truly reflected her commitment to excellent guest service. Throughout our stay, Madz was consistently friendly, approachable, and always happy to help with anything we needed. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary, and thanks to her kindness and genuine care, our visit felt even more special. Madz is a true credit to Hotel Zeppelin. Her exceptional customer service and dedication to creating memorable guest experiences are exactly what hospitality should be. Thank you, Madz, for making our anniversary trip to San Francisco one we’ll always remember. We look forward to returning in the future!
I was upgraded to a king which I enjoyed more than my last stay
lighting in the bathroom is not great. Curtains I couldn't roll down the lever that takes it up and down was not working
booked a last min hotel room since me and my girlfriend needed some rest in the city. the staff was truely amazing! everyone greeted me when walking to my room and asked me if i needed anything. the room was clean and they even called me once i got to my room to check if everything was good. i would like to thank the staff for the amazing job! Madz, Lina and Ben i appreciate the hospitality. would book again!
Fantastic hotel in the center of San Francisco. Madz and Lina at the reception were amazing. Thank you
Clean room with good A/C. Madz was knowledgeable and helpful. Would go again.
Good location, easy transport links. Bar/restaurant in hotel but short walk to so many great food places. Loved the games room also. Maria was great at check in and helped us work the air con when we couldn’t figure it out.
No tea/coffee in room, only available in the morning in the lobby. $35 per night service charge added on check in, mentioned local taxes when booking but not amount.
Great location. Cool funky atmosphere and decor. Rooms clean and spacious. Great value.
This is my first time staying here, and it’s been a wonderful experience so far! The hotel is beautiful, the interior is stunning, and my room is fantastic. I was even given a great upgrade, which made my stay even better. A special thank you to Madz at the front desk—she was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made check-in a great experience. I truly appreciate her excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
I was staying after a 16-hour flight. The lady in the front desk couldn't accommodate me to check like 2 hours earlier than the official check-in time, even though I offered to pay for the extra day. To be quite honest, the immediate surroundings of the hotel are kind of scary, filled with homeless people doing all kinds of things. I did not feel safe walking around the hotel's location.
The hotel has quite of a dark vibe to it, so did the room, lights all very dark, zero views, dark carpet. Everything was kind of dark. That, the surroundings, the lack of understanding while coming from a 16 hour flight which you could tell from my face how absolutely tired I was. I wouldn't stay here ever again.
Great central location, very comfortable beds, large TV in the room, quirky aesthetic, perfect for a few days in the city.
Rooms were a little on the small side, barn style sliding door to bathroom had a gap either side when closed which wasn't ideal 🤣
Maria at the front desk was great!! Hotel is super nice.
This place was seriously impressive! It's super clean, totally modern, and has this really trendy and funky vibe. I loved that they're eco-friendly too with free water refills and incentives to stay green. The location is perfect for food places and public transport with muni/bart for access to whole bay area and airport, and the food was absolutely delicious and free beverages in the morning was really good. Also the free games room is very good for families. But the real standout was Maria at reception – she was exceptionally helpful and friendly, making our stay even better and ensured we never had any issues and always personally greeted us everytime we entered/left.
Overall hotel was nice - the bed was comfortable and although located in a busy part of the city it felt quite peaceful at the hotel. Staff were friendly The option to also chose whether to have your room cleaned daily was nice - and when you didn't you got a voucher to use at the hotel bar which was quite a nice touch
While clean it did feel a little dated in places Our room was by the elevator and it was a little noisy - we did flag this to reception to see if we could switch, however they advised they were fully booked so unable to do (we got used to it in the end) WiFi was a bit temperamental on a couple of the days
Ben at the check in was probably the nicest human I’ve ever met! The check In process was super easy, and Ben made sure to make us feel So welcomed. The hotel atmosphere was awesome! Definitely will be staying here next time we visit San Francisco
Maria was a great host and had all the answers we needed. She made our experience wonderful and if we come back, we will be staying at the Zepplin.
Not my favorite, but ok if you want a central location. Good and bad factors - Good: First, the hotel upgraded us to a suite, which was very appreciated due to the spacious interior. The lobby was cool and gave off a rock-n-roll vibe. Check-in was easy and quick; hostess was welcoming and friendly. Good instructions to get to the room in a second tower were provided orally and printed on the key sleeve (thank you!). This hotel was in an excellent location if you want to stay near Union Square. It was close to lots of high-end shopping, an easy walk to Chinatown, and some great restaurants. Several car rental places were within walking distance if you are venturing outside of the city. The bathroom in the room was cute and roomy. Just Okay: The overall price was okay for the city with impending World Cup tourism, but kind of inflated for the decor. Not So Good: The decor was tired both in the room and in the upper hallways. The halls had a very musty fragrance- would have rather they pipe in some kind of scent because it smelled like mildew and cooked broccoli. Carpets seemed to be fading along the edge. The room (with the exception of the bathroom) was just plain-jane white walls, cheap furniture. There was a floor lamp with a hanging shade that we kept hitting our heads on. The bed was not at all comfortable. Would I stay there again? Probably not. Did it work for our 2-night stay? Yes, it was ok.
My partner and I had a great experience at Hotel Zeppelin. The location was convenient for activities near the Civic Center and easily getting to public transportation. The staff was helpful and welcoming while being very professional. The room was clean and spacious. The game room/floor and posh-rocker vibes made it a memorable place to stay.
I have stayed at this hotel few times. Great location and good rooms. Especially appreciate the great front desk and all of Maria’s help. Will come back again.
Booked this after having to cancel a previous booking and honestly wish I booked this place in the first instance as it did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and the restaurant that’s located beside the hotel is super convenient.
Nothing to mention, it was great.
Truly can’t beat the location! Stayed here with last-minute plans to visit San Francisco for a casual, celebratory Pride 2026 reunion weekend. Hotel Zeppelin matched the pace fabulously from the start. Place strikes a rare and wonderful combo offering appeal and character that reads ‘fashionably nostalgic’ while ‘authentically S.F.’. Our room (Accessible Standard Queen) was extremely comfortable (plush AF beds, people…), spotlessly clean (I’m a harsh judge admittedly), cool (I’ll say it again), offered reasonable privacy (thank god), and delightfully spacious even with the downtown address. In the end Hotel Zeppelin offered us amazing value and we’d highly recommend it to most any type, size etc production enterprise. One last but important message would be a very heartfelt, sincere THANK YOU to MARIA and KRIS at the front desk, who went to remarkable lengths today to ensure that our complete experience, following through long after a late checkout, was handled securely and with maximal care and convenience. Thanks to their distinctly gracious care, demonstrated accountability, and high agency mindset, the two stepped in with the cool, easy, smart attentiveness that may have just saved the day—or at least significant chaos and inconvenience for us that certainly would not have left us with the peace and gratitude with left with later that day. Put another way, their actions had an impact much like the goodwill of friend that’s trusted to have your back and vie for your singular best outcome. MARIA and KRIS may not recognize or suspect the practical extent of their impact, but your simple kindness really did mean a great deal today. Thank you.
We found the male Asian receptionist very rude. He didn’t look up for a few minutes when we arrived to check in and wasn’t helpful with telling us details of where our room was or anything about the hotel in general . However the room was clean although small . We overlooked what looked like a lot of flats that were extremely noisy where a dog was barking outside for hours when we wanted to sleep. The rooftop pool area was lovely and some great views. Pool was lush too . It also had a great variety of that had a happy hour between 3-5 and a games room downstairs with free pool and basketball games . Overall a good hotel base .
Incredible hospitality! I was kindly helped by Kris and made our stay comfortable. Amazing location in the heart of downtown! Strongly recommend and will come back
Great hotel, great location Love staying here, staff is so friendly, rooms are spacious and clean and it’s good t a great vibe. Maria at the front desk is amazing and caters to your every need. Highly recommend
Maria and kris were great !! Best service I’ve ever had at a hotel!!
Great hotel Kris and Maria are really helpful They have looked after us and helped us out a lot Very good hotel 5 stars
Maria and Chris are the best! They really looked after us and made us have a great stay. definitely recommend staying here. Maria you are amazing
Stayed at Hotel Zeppelin in San Francisco for a few nights and really enjoyed it. The location is hard to beat — right near Union Square, walking distance to cable cars, shopping, and a ton of restaurants. The lobby has a fun, slightly quirky vibe with vintage-inspired decor that sets it apart from your typical chain hotel. Big shout out to Maria and Kris for their amazing customer service. They gave us a warm welcome and helped us regarding any questions we had
Maria and Josiel are 10/10. So helpful so kind so always willing to help and be there to support and provide you with everything you need really lovely. Thank you for a lovely stay!
Booked the zepplin for my fiance and I on our Wedding/Pride weekend festivities. Coming from out of the area getting everything arranged to be able to check in early and get ready on such a busy weekend was stressful initially because we NEEDED and early check -in. BEN WAS OUTSTANDING!!! He really went above snd beyond for my Fiance and I. Even upgraded our room and made us feel super special to make sure we had time to shower and get ready for our Wedding. MARIA also! She was very accommodating and goes above and beyond as well. Super cheerful! We love the energy! They even offered us some energy drinks to start off the celebrations! The room was beautiful and super clean. Nice showers and bathroom! Walking distance from all of the fun happening nearby. & record players in the rooms! Super original. Thank you BEN and MARIA! You made memorable impressions and helped us greatly on our big day! We will definitely be coming back to the Zeppelin!
Near Chinatown. Walking distance from everything if you like walking
It’s like the city. Been around for a while. No complaints.
We were graciously greeted by Maria and Kris who were quick to check us in and get us settled into the best rooms in San Francisco. This hotel has it all and we are so glad we found it! Thank you for an amazing stay!
Thank you for a great stay! Maria and Geoff were extremely kind, welcoming and knowledable.
Great location at a great price! Right in the heart of Union Square, but close enough to walk to other neighborhoods and attractions. We were here for our friends birthday and walked to the North beach festival - about a 25 min walk but well worth it...took in the sights and sounds of the city. Safe neighborhood. We've stayed at the Zeppelin many times and will be back for sure. Thanks for Jasmine and Ben who were super friendly and helpful during check in and check out! ;)
Awesome 👏 location and amenities. Highly recommended.
Excellent location, cordial staff
Loud night noises of city easily penetrated walls and windows making poor sleep
If you’re looking for a centrally located place to stay in SF, this is the spot. It has a different kind of vibe, a solid price-to-quality balance, and a very attentive staff. I especially want to thank JASMINE, who helped me during check-in when my reservation had an error. She was not only attentive and helpful, but also understanding and incredibly kind. Huge props to her level of service 🙌🏽
Great customer service, Kris and Maria helped me sort things and get settled in, i was super comfortable and happy!
Loved my stay, hotel was very clean as well. Staff are simply the best :) thank you Maria, Ben, Jazz and Lina!
The room is very comfortable and the staff is excellent! Maria and Ben were extremely helpful and welcoming! Would definitely recommend for a nice getaway.
I love thé hôtel and staff Jasmine and Joisel are the best Merci 🙏🏻
We're returning guest and once again had a great stay. Friendly staff Yasmin recognized me right away when I entered the hotel. Highly recommended!
Room was clean and comfortable. Jasmin and Ben were very helpful, Jasmin checked me in early and upgraded my room. They made my stay enjoyable and comfortable.
central location my room has bad smell not a big deal but i wish they at least spray Jasmin and ben were friendly.
Kostenloser Kaffee am Morgen
Lüftung vom Nachtbargebäude war zu stark zu hören. Lautstärke wie Zimmerklimaanlage
Reception desk was welcoming, helpful and friendly notably Jasmine snd Maria. Hotel is quaint, as old buildings go, in a good location.
Absolutely wonderful hotel. Rooms are clean. Great location Staff are wonderful particularly Maria on reception. She even had a bottle of wine sent to my room as it was my birthday. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The hotel is in a a central union square location. It is stylish, clean, and the staff were so pleasant and helpful.
Lovely, spacious and clean room. Maria at the front desk was so helpful and welcoming, and made sure to call and check if we were happy with everything. Great location of the hotel too, and really good value for money! Can be booked through Airbnb, which is what we did, and we were very happy. Check in is 2 minutes and you’re ready to go!
Hotel is very conveniently located Rooms are pretty neat and spacious Received a warm welcome at the front desk by Maria and Ben. They were very quick with check in formalities and extremely polite. Very good service. Thank you!
Great area, close to a lot of popular places. Maria helped us get settled in, she was very sweet and professional. Very cool hotel!
Our stay at Hotel Zeppelin San Francisco for three nights was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome, and the facilities exceeded our expectations with their high standards and excellent service. We were especially impressed with Room 700—it was incredibly spacious and comfortable, making us feel right at home. Our kids absolutely loved the playroom, which made the experience even more enjoyable for our family. As first-time visitors to San Francisco, this hotel played a big part in making our trip so memorable. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, and we will definitely be coming back on our next visit. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
When traveling with my family to SF we always stay at Hotel Zeppelin. The rooms are way larger than normal places, the game room is amazing, and you can grab a ridiculously delicious milkshake!
Love staying here when in SF for work! Maria at check-in ensures a smooth check-in and great hospitality. Valet and the restaurant attached are great perks.
Maria at the front desk was amazing! My husband and I travel often, and I can usually tell how a stay will go from the very first impression and concierge experience. Maria was top-notch from start to finish; handling our needs, arranging valet for my car, and offering great restaurant recommendations. The room, location, and overall service made the cost feel very fair. Highly recommend!
I had a wonderful stay at the Led Zeppelin Hotel in Union Square, San Francisco. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city and reach many attractions, shops, and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel was very clean, and I especially appreciated the stylish and modern design of the rooms, which made my stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. A special thank you to Josiel at the front desk. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always available to help with any questions or requests. His professionalism and friendly attitude truly made a difference and contributed to a great guest experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Francisco. Between its fantastic location, spotless facilities, beautiful room design, and outstanding service, it is an excellent choice!
Seamless check-in. By Jazmin, she gave us a free upgrade. We travelled 13 hours to get here, and we had time to rest before we explored the city. The room was clean and comfortable. Lina was friendly too. We loved the fireplace in the lobby.
Staff was great. Clean and quiet room.
Josiel at the front desk was amazing! She was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Her positive attitude and excellent customer service made me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. Hotel Zeppelin is lucky to have her on their team. Thank you, Josiel
Room and entire hotel had a musty stench. A rat crawled out from under the refrigerator, and when I reached out to the front desk for it to be handled - was told to wait an hour since housekeeping isn’t in house 24/7.
Our stay was splendid. Perfect place to stay if you’re planning to check downtown! We love that it’s very close to the cable cars and a lot of food places nearby!
Great hotel, really loved the location and cleanliness. Also jasmin at reception was great! Shoutout!!!
Great location!
Nothing
Nice lobby, and fun with the games downstairs. Big and very comfy bed.
Pretty disappointed overall! Paid $260 for one night, expected better amenities - no tea/coffee in the room, no conditioner in the shower, bedside lamp didn't work. Biggest issue was the smell - you could tell it's a pet friendly hotel. We were also initially upgraded to a suite, which was not at all what we were after being split into tiny bedroom + office, but the smell was so bad we had to move to our original double room, which was much nicer. Also, sliding doors with such big gaps for the bathroom is quite awkward when sharing. We were up all night with noise from the street - glass recycling at 3am?! - but not much the hotel can do about that.
location
faucets at bathroom that have a stick design; stick was difficult to push up/down , cannot contil properly water temoerature snd volume ;
The Style, a hippster location
Dark rooms, few daylight
I had late check out and the hotel charged twice. I noticed that and email to the hotel on May 9th and no one has respond to me until a local friend of mine help me sort it out. Until now, the hotel still didn’t explanation or properly apologise the inconvenience causes. The experience is really awful and very disappointing! Also, the front staff an Asian guy who is very rude and unhelpful. And the hotel never did the house keeping during my stay.
This is our 4th times, and didn’t fail us! The room are fantastic, nice, clean, and comfy. The location is perfect close to downtown with great value. Their staff are awesome especially, Maria - she is so cheerful, nice, friendly and welcoming, we always tried to come back here if we come to SF. Very recommended place to stay.
I stayed at the Zeppelin for the first time last night. I picked it blind off Hotel Tonight, and it was a wonderful surprise . Maria welcomed me with a big smile at the front desk and gave me great advice on local food and parking. The room was spotless and quiet and I loved the industrial desk and workspace. The vibe is fun, the game room was a great bonus, and the bed was very comfortable . Very good value and a great stay! Thanks and I will be back.
