Direi nulla, copritevi bene c'è sempre tanta aria e attenzione ai continui sali e scendi per muoversi, se non avete delle buone ginocchia è impegativo

Great accommodation, staff very welcoming and in perfect location. Rooms are spacious, with complimentary wine being provided for the evening time which was a lovely treat! No complaints at all- fabulous place!

Nos dieron una invitación a una copa en el restaurante que finalmente no utilizamos. El personal es atento y muy amable. La ubicación del hotel también es algo a destacar ya que está cerca de todo.

En realidad todo estuvo bien. No obstante, sí me hubiera gustado que el servicio de cafetería incluyera zumo y algo de comer. También sería recomendable un cambio del mobiliario y la decoración de las habitaciones ya que puede parecer algo anticuado, aunque entiendo que forma parte de la imagen que se quiere dar de un hotel que lleva muchos años de servicio. Otro aspecto es que se encuentra cerca de Tenderloin, lo cual implica que frecuentemente se vean vagabundos por la calle en la noche, sin embargo no es algo que se pueda reprochar al hotel (el centro urbano de San Francisco es así)

Lekkere kamer en goede faciliteiten (sportschool). Bij aankomst werden we zeer vriendelijk ontvangen en de receptionist dacht heel goed met ons mee over wat we konden bezoeken in de stad!

Het hotel zit in een mindere wijk van San Francisco. De straat zelf is oké, maar de straten rechts en links hebben veel zwervers. Hier moet je even omheen lopen

Well appointed hotel.

There was a 24/7 street protest, very loud, on the same block as the hotel. We would have expected not to get rooms looking at that side, it was very difficult to sleep. Despite it being an obvious tourist area, with many other hotels next to ours, there was a noticeable presence of homeless people. While we didn't have any problems at all during our stay, the area could probably feel unsafe for some people.

Curtis, Melinda and every staff member exudes sincere personal interest and care. Outstanding kindness and empathy!

Walk in showers and bidets would be a nice upgrade. Needs more electrical duplexes.

The location is good. Very close to Union Square. But a bit scary at night outside with lots of homeless people on one side. The room is very old and in need some renovation. We had to change room in the middle of night after check in as the first one the shower head didn't work at all. The photos look much better than the room in reality. However, the hotel lobby and the "library' area are very nice. You can bring your own meal to eat there and has a very cosy feel.

There were demonstrators outside and the soundproofing of the rooms wasn’t as good as it could have been. We were moved to a quieter room.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. Staff were generally friendly, hotel was comfortable and the facilities were good. Location is great, very close to Union Square. Hotel is a little tired/ dated in places (broken ice machine for example) but generally nice and for the price we paid was an excellent choice for our family holiday. The water bottles and welcome drinks were a nice touch and the gym facilities were very good. However, the reason for the low score is the amount still held on my credit card 17 days after we checked out. I appreciate it’s standard to take a deposit but this still hasn’t been released and is showing as pending on my credit card almost 3 weeks later. I’ve never had this experience before and contacting the hotel from the UK is difficult as they don’t have an email on their website. I’ve managed to contact a helpful member of staff in the reservation dept who in turn is speaking to accounts but at the time of writing this still hasn’t not been resolved and is not something I should have to follow up. A disappointing end to an otherwise nice stay.

Schönes Hotel mit toller Einrichtung

Chambre propre, bien décorée et assez spacieuse pour San Francisco. Bonne localisation. Bouteille d'eau offerte le premier jour.

Le quartier est étonnant: proche voire à l'intérieur des commerces luxueux mais on peut trouver au pied de l'hôtel des SDF ou croiser des zombis drogués. Le service de voiturier n'est pas au niveau de l'hôtel. Petit déjeuner moyen.

We come out to see our son. The location of the hotel is very close to where he lives. Liked the fact that we could babysit his dog in our room while he went to the dentist. Loved the coffee in the morning. Friendly staff.

We had a wonderful stay at The Marker. Everything about our experience was excellent. The location is very convenient, the hotel is beautiful and comfortable, and our room was clean and well maintained. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay and were happy with every aspect of the hotel. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to San Francisco and highly recommend it.

Overall excellent experience for a couple of days in San Francisco. Nice room, great atmosphere and good location close to Union Square. Breakfast was really good, too. Charles from reception deserves an extra five stars for his great advise.

Wir haben mit 2 Teenagern ein Zimmer mit 2 Betten gebucht und ich möchte besonders erwähnen wie wahnsinnig bequem die Betten sind und auch die Kopfpolster - für uns ist das sehr relevant im Urlaub. Es gibt kein Frühstück um Hotel aber wir haben in der direkten Umgebung tolle Cafés gefunden. Vom Hotel aus ist generell alles gut erreichbar.

Nichts - alles super!

Lage ist gut und es gibt ein sehr gutes Restaurant im Haus. DIe Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Schon ein bisschen abgewohnt und plüschig. Teppich war schon sehr abgenutzt. Fenster waren extrem dreckig.

Very nice location, walking distance to Union Square. Claßen atmosphere . The room was nice, spacious and clean. We gad an issue with smoking in the next room and the staff was very helpful and we got even a discount due to the inconveniences, really great service. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice and central hotel in SFO.

We had such a wonderful stay! The location in Union Square was perfect—close to everything and so convenient for exploring the city. The customer service at the front desk was incredible; everyone we interacted with was genuinely kind, welcoming, and helpful. We also had an amazing dinner at the adjoining Italian restaurant—the made-from-scratch pasta was absolutely delicious! We loved the complimentary glass of wine during happy hour for hotel guests, too. Such a fun and thoughtful touch. The hotel itself has such a cozy, inviting atmosphere, especially the lobby with the fireplace. It was the perfect place to come back to after a day in the city. Great location, wonderful service, delicious food, and so much charm. We will definitely be back!

My stay at The Marker was wonderful. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and hospitable. I didn’t get the “California laid back” vibe from them at all. My stay came with 2 complementary bottles of wine because I booked through Expedia and was a silver member (I believe), no one in my family drinks so they were kind enough to replace it with local popcorn, which was delicious. We enjoyed the free coffee in the lobby every morning and the library area was a great third space to get some work done and people watch. Originally, booking in Union Square gave me anxiety considering its proximity to Tenderloin, however all went well. I would look on a map before walking aimlessly and planning your route to avoid certain streets. The hotel is safe. During the weekend there was a protest going on at a nearby hotel that was pretty loud but a day later it was no longer there and the hotel was very quiet for being downtown. The rooms were cozy and I enjoyed being able to refill my water bottle at various water stations. I love booking boutique hotels as opposed to big chains and this one was well worth the book! We were also able to check our luggage for a few hours on our last day since our flight wasn’t until night time. Also 12 pm checkout is pretty late compared to other places which is a perk. Thank you to kind staff that made our stay possible.

2 things will stay with me about our stay - the staff and the lobby/library. The staff were wonderful! We had a few issues with our first room but after we were moved, things were great. Staff were also super helpful with food recommendations and just helpful and fun in general. We used the library every day as "our living room" as per the staff. It was great. All the great seating areas were a fun way for us to gather after our day's activities. Lobby is breathtaking. Free (really good) coffee in the morning was clutch.

Rooms could definitely use an update. Our first room - the AC, safe and fridge didn't work AND the toilet kept running. They did send someone up look at it and he did fix the safe, fridge and toilet...but AC was not something they could remedy easily so we switched rooms. Location is right on the border of the Tenderloin so you should be mindful of which direction you walk. Personally, coming from and being familiar with big cities, I felt fine walking through the hotel's neighborhood...but some may feel uncomfortable after dark. BUT It is in a great location being by Union Square and a nice leisurely walk to Chinatown if you're willing to walk some hills.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Special thanks to Dhali who helped us deal perfectly with an issue regarding a booking mistake made by our travel agency. Staff is really nice and always here for you, rooms clean and delicious restaurant. 100% recommend.

Location very close to the tenderloin area so it wasn’t the best area to be. Atmosphere was quiet in the hotel. Room was below average, in the first room the door was too short so you could literally see into our room from the hallway so I requested a new room had initially been told this is standard for doors to be like that by the “engineer” but the hotel receptionist knew by my face that there was no way it’s standard to be able to literally put your hand into the room under the door, I could see my wife walking around the room from the hallway so they changed us then, this room was better overall. There was a strong smell of excrement in the hallway on our floor. The gym was ok for a hotel gym it had the basics to work with. Overall I feel like it’s more of a 2-3 star hotel. Hotel staff we nice on check in, changing the room and also check out.

Great location as a base for exploring San Francisco. Excellent value for money compared to other hotels in the area. Room was a little tired but that was fine and reflected in the price. Staff were very friendly.

Big shoutout to Dhali. Agoda messed up our booking, but Dhali did his best to find a solution for us and I'm beyond grateful especially after flying 16h from Australia. Especially after almost booking at The Spero (which was on strike), I'm so glad we decided to stay here

The location is very good (the parking is very expensive), the atmosphere is very nice like in a classic Europe style city The room are not maintained properly, the shower stream is very weak and the sink was clogged although The maintenance man came he convinced himself (not me) that is normal. The matters is old and the springs are broken

Taxi or Uber to the hotel. We caught public transport SamTrans bus from SFO to The Marker, which meant we had a short walk, this was a mistake as the sheer volume of homeless people and dog poo on pavements was the worst introduction to San Francisco. This meant we were relieved once we finally found the front door and stepped inside The Marker. It has a grand feel to it with high ceilings, tasteful decor, it’s a shame there isn’t more internal lighting to brighten it up. We appreciated the voucher for a free drink at the bar. Overall the service was good. My only bug bear was the bath sheets towels had threads along the edges. I let them know and another set turned up at our door promptly- again full of threads. Good news is you can sleep, comfy bed. You are located not far from cable cars to take you down to the much nicer waterfront at Pier 39. We each got the 3 day mini visitor passport for $35us each which sounds expensive to a kiwi but when each cable car ride costs $9 it soon paid for itself.

La ubicación muy cerca de Unión Square. Hotel moderno con instalaciones modernas. Camas cómodas. Tenían por la mañana zona de café por si querías tomarte en el desayuno ( no dan desayuno ). El personal muy amable y atento.

La habitación doble se queda pequeña para cuatro personas, sin sitio para dejar maletas. Las camas un poco pequeñas al ser para dos. Baño con cortina en la bañera. Tienen parking privado muy caro.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel in San Francisco. The location is fantastic, the staff is very friendly and attentive, and the rooms are extremely comfortable and clean. We arrived late with our kids because of our flight, and they were incredibly kind and even gave the children a gift. The hotel’s decoration and cleanliness are a 10, and the coffee area is absolutely gorgeous and pleasant. We really appreciated the warm welcome and would happily stay here again.

We loved our stay at The Marker. We've been coming here for years, but I think this was our first stay since the pandemic. So we weren't sure what to expect. We were definitely pleased with our stay. The rooms and common areas of the hotel are extremely clean. And the front desk staff was extraordinary. Everyone was so kind and helpful....especially Brian who checked us in. What a nice guy! We would definitely stay here again. Side note...we felt extremely safe inside the hotel during our stay. However, just beware that the Tenderloin district is just west/southwest of the hotel. So it can get pretty sketchy if you venture off in that direction. That is not a knock on the hotel at all. Just pointing it out for those who are not familiar with the area...especially those with kids. Best to keep the kids away from the Tenderloin district if you are setting out on foot.
