Jin Jiang Tower

First, we arrived at the hotel on a really early long haul flight and were left exhausted and with 6 hours to kill. Upon arrival we mentioned this to the reception staff who let us in to our room early with no fuss and no mention of any charge. This act of excellent service made a huge difference to our short but wonderful stay in Shanghai. Furthermore, our room was great, the breakfast was really good with a decent mix of Chinese and Western food and there was a daily happy hour with a selection of free food and drink. Just a great place and great value.

Расположение. Тихо, спокойно, вдали от трасс и толп туристов. При этом, такси приезжает за пару минут. У персонала в лобби весьма сносный английский и они всегда готовы прийти на помощь. Рестик в лобби, где завтрак весьма не дурен. Свежие фрукты, соки, кофе, жарят яйца с компонентами на выбор, как в курортных отелях. Также в лобби есть бар, жаль, что он рано закрывается.

Ресторан на верху. В рекламе одно, на деле -хрючево по баснословным ценам. Официанты отвратительные. Персонал даже не знает открыты они или нет. При весьма скудном меню, которое кстати отвратительно переведено на английский, наличие простого сухого белого вина не гарантировано.

Dentro de la habitación muchisima humedad, vijos muebles y la ducha rota. Parece un hostal. La cama horrible, las almohadas parecen que tenía mas años que yo. Aguante una noche y me fui. Chocos, las cortinas de ducha no valen nada. No puede ser que es un hotel de 5 estrellas. Horrible todo

Заселение. Я планировала, что оплату за номер спишут с указанной мной карты. А на ресепшен при заселении, мне пришлось искать способ для оплаты всей суммы за номер.

everything is overpriced. You walk out the hotel and the prices are 10 times cheaper. Coffee for 8 pounds, a bit more expensive than the most fancy drink at Starbucks, given this is standard amerciano, nothing fancy. Laundy is 5 pounds per 1 t-shirt thats a rip off, cheaper to buy a new t-shirt from the local shop than doing laundy. They make you buy head caps for swimming pool, but hair gets wet anyway. so thats just a waste of money and very unlpleasant experience.

Con un po’ di difficoltà siamo riusciti a risolvere un disguido della reception nonostante la barriera linguistica,non parlano inglese, e tutto é andato bene.

The hotel is in a good location for both sightseeing and business trips.

The reception service was extremely poor. The receptionist provided no information or guidance about the hotel at all. In addition, although the Wi-Fi was easy to connect to, it did not function properly.

Water are coming out from flush toilet and carpet are wet at 2nd night. Front desk is not willing to change room for us until we make serious complaint, Initial plan is to share good experience with wife and son to stay at this hotel. Останавливаюсь в третий раз. Отель не новый но аккуратный. Хороший завтрак, приветливый персонал, бассейн, вращающийся ресторан на 42 этаже с вкусной едой и доступными ценами. Метро прямо за углом. Рядом полно торговых центров и магазинов, милых забегаловок с вкусной местной едой.

Отель не отвечал через букинг на вопросы после бронирования. Также сняли депозит при заселении, о котором не было указано в условиях при бронировании

早餐太多碳水的食物，对于有血糖问题的人不是很好。中餐基本上都是血糖炸弹，西餐也差不多。

Rooms are very small. The shower is in the tub which is very inconvenient to get in and out.

The bed, the blanket and the pillows were wonderful. I slept very well. This swimming pool, the hot and cold tubs and the sauna were perfect for me. I had a good relaxation there. The location in the French Conscession was excellent for me.

This five-star hotel exceeded every single one of my expectations. Check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient. The guest room featured elegant decoration, perfect lighting and impeccable hygiene. The on-site restaurant served delicious food with rich options, while the leisure facilities including gym and lounge were well maintained. Every member of the service team was polite and thoughtful, always ready to solve problems promptly. It was a fantastic accommodation experience, and I sincerely recommend it to all travelers.

The best location is right by the subway station, in a neighborhood that truly showcases the authentic side of Shanghai. The room was spacious, with a great view and a very comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, especially the concierge team. We were able to store our luggage for several days while traveling to other cities, and they also assisted us with sending packages and arranging courier services. Their excellent service made our trip much more convenient and enjoyable.

Nice hotel, huge open foyer, rooms are comfortable. We had an issue a couple of times with the toilet blocking but it was sorted pretty quickly. Breakfast was very good, plenty of selection. The chef was a bit temperamental, got upset when I took some lettuce which was amongst a selection of other salad thing which was expected as it seems was for display only… started calling to one of the staff to come over in quite a rude manner. Actually the let down for this hotel was the staff. The concierge was as unfriendly as you get. Barely saw a smile on any staffs face. I went to ask for milk satchets or a small amount of milk for tea in our room ( no milk/ coffee mate supplied) .Concierge pointed at reception who told me to ring housekeeping. I told them that they didn’t understand which is why I went to them. They sent me to the cafe who wanted to charge me for enough milk for two cups of tea/coffee.! They then sent me to the dining area which had closed. Someone was walking through there and kindly gave me a small jug of milk. The next issue was the next night I asked the cafe where we could get a light meal, they said they didn’t do light meals. I then asked reception if they had a room service menus, there was nothing in the room. They told me to ring room service and order but I couldn’t do that without seeing the menu so they had someone bring one up. When we went to order around 6.30pm, they were busy and not picking up so we decided to just go down to the restaurant and see what they had. Amazingly they had the light meal we wanted and were told they didn’t do, and what we couldn’t get through room service and paid a lot less. Despite how nice the hotel was, it was all too hard. If you ask for a packaged breakfast to take away because of an early departure, will consist of two hard boiled eggs, a banana, small bun and croissant and a bottle of water. The handles in the box will break before you get out the food. One last foot note…. Handwritten note put on the reception desk said… if staff are asleep, please wake them. Just what you would expect from a top hotel!

The property was nice but they need to get some English speaking staff because we couldn’t get any guidance how to get around places.also they need to get some English Chanel’s on their Tv programs to accommodate for tourists.

Uszoda - rugalmasság, dohányfüst a szauna elött. Túlárazott lobby bár Igénytelen kivitelezés a szobában. Hólyagos tapéta, törött padlólap, nem jó irányba folyó víz.

飯店位置適中去哪裡都方便。 13號地鐵線就在飯店的 對面。 維拉行政套房住起來很舒服。 下午可以在那裡喝個簡單的下午茶 。可惜的是沒有提供早餐。 一樓吃早餐的 咖啡廳 經常找不到位子。 幾乎都要跟陌生人合併著使用。

早餐真的不怎樣。 餐點樣數很多， 不過都不怎麼精緻。 如果 維拉 行政套房 不提供較為精緻簡單的早餐， 就失去行政套房的意義。

Несмотря на возраст отеля, вопросов к чистоте не возникло (кроме окон, они даже в видовом номере на башню были грязные). Чистые и удобные кровати. Замечательный завтрак. Отель не в пешей доступности от центра, но за 20 минут на метро добраться просто. Из аэропортов (обоих) тоже добраться не сложно. В отеле недорогой трансфер. Прямо у отеля много местных кафе, в 5 минутах ходьбы - торговая улица с Uniqlo, Adidas, H&M, NB. Есть онсен с джакузи.

Отель достаточно возрастной - построен в 1990 году. Учитывайте при выборе. Это сказывается на мелочах - телефоны, оконная и иная фурнитура, состояние мебели и ее вид. Имеет смысл брать только видовые номера. Проблемы с вентиляцией - она древняя, и не реагирует на вводные, живет своей жизнью. Бассейн не для детей - спортивный, но маленький и со странной атмосферой (аж двое спасателей сидят на вышках в огромном помещении с маленьким бассейном). В номерах китайцы курят, а с учетом возраста вентиляции иногда стоит специфический прокуренный запах (зато можно открывать окна).

I was overcharged for my stay at Jin Jiang Tower by almost 1000RMB. I kept emailing, messaging and contacting them but they did not reply or get back to me. Not acceptable.

Location is really good, just opposite the underground line 13 exit 3 , a lot to eat n shopping area near by, comfort bed , cleaning staff are nice .

Not must space to sit down the reception public area.

This is a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located 5 star hotel close to the commercial strip of Huaihai Road. The staff were welcoming, and the breakfast buffet was tasty. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip

Housekeeping staff did great job! The dated room was cleaned nicely, all amenities filled everyday, they were smiling and friendly, also at the reception you could grab what you needed extra. Daily water provided. Very decent thick slippers. Very comfortable beds. Although hotel fully booked it was kind of quiet (floor 26) unless people slamming doors. Incredible view from the restaurant on the highest floor. Breakfast very good if you like Chinese food. The western options are not bad either but limited. The buffet is filled until the last moment. You don’t have to wait long for anything. Exchange machine available. Download Alipay , add your credit card, this way no need to exchange money. Hotel very close to metro (line13 close, line 1 further) and bus. Didi (uber) very affordable. Metro and bus super cheap. Hotel is near some attractions but if you want to be more in the Bund area hotel is 3 km from there so rather far. Hotel is near many shopping malls (brands) . We could do later checkout. Friendly doormen. Complimentary water and tea at the reception.

Hotel has been for sure 5 star but 20 years ago. Now it’s 3 stars for most rooms… keep that in mind.Staff: all of them, and I mean all of the ladies and gentlemen at the reception were very unfriendly and even rude if you asked a question, if it became 2 questions they just wanted to run away. The staff between 2/05 and 6/05. The only and really only a bit nicer one was the one doing our check in, young guy with glasses and that’s it! Same counts for breakfast staff, as it was a very busy period they were all rude and on edge all the time, the last day of our stay they were a bit more relaxed but still don’t expect even a little smile! If I only saw the staff of this hotel I would have said that all Chinese are rude but good that people in the city were fun and nice everywhere. The swimming pool was very uninviting, felt like a public swimming pool with the 3 lifeguards sitting on highchairs looking over the 1 or 2 people who were swimming. Very strange set up but maybe obligated by law, anyways, very uncomfortable! The pool area could use a cosy makeover, not a kind of pool place to have a relaxed 5 star feeling. The hot-tub at ladies did not work. The dry sauna was very much dated and the wood coming off. Steam room ok. Lockers and slippers and 1 towel provided. Being a swimming cab. If you don’t have they have some to borrow. We arrived at 7am, no room was available as the hotel was full booked the day before but they did not provide any information about staying at lounge for example. They just said go wait there or go to shops! At 7 am??!! Later we saw that there were several places we could sit more comfortably.

I stayed in the executive villa and found it very spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel is located across from exit 3 of metro at Huaihai Middle Road Station on line 13 so very easy to get to.

Had to change my original room assignment as it was next to the lifts and the noise of the lifts was too loud. The hotel staff was very helpful in changing the room. The lobby bar/restaurant was closed by 10 pm so the only option for a meal was room service or local restaurants.

Room was fine, ac wasn't up to par and it was quite warm in the room which was the main issue. Hotel is large and standard for region. Has a good currency exchange machine in the lobby which is very helpful. Location is good, short walk from IAMP mall and many cafes, shops and restauants + Metro.

AC did not cool enough (central air wasn't on for that time of year). Does make a difference as room gets quite warm, but it is a preference.

Rooms are spacious Location right next to an underground station (Line 13) Elevators are plenty and fast An automatic money exchange machine that exchanged US$ at a reasonable rate. An automatic cleaning bidet at the toilet.
