ventilation of bathroom was horrible. I did not like the food and liquor tray displayed on the credenza. I suspect that recovering alcoholics would have a problem.

Carpet in room was extremely dirty.

One of the best one in this location. Morning ocean breeze in breakfast. What else!!

The staff.. exercise room and restaurants

The room was quite small.. and the bathroom was more like a closet. That. Was the main reason we did not give higher rating. If we had know the quarters were so tight.. we would have chosen differently

Proximity to beach

Way overpriced for what you receive. Poor communication be aware that they charge $100 a day for parking in addition to your stay and it’s not mentioned until your credit card gets charged. Incredibly poor communication. Unless you’re staying here for nostalgia would not recommend.

The location was fantastic on the front of Santa Monica and the restaurants and bar on site were excellent.

The gym was extremely small and unusable and the partial sea view room we booked and paid for had no view whatsoever.

Beautiful setting and felt like being transported 80/90 years in time. The attention to detail was 100% there. You walk out and you're right in the beach too!!!

The AC unit seems very old and noisy, it woke me up each time it was going off/on with a bang!

I loved the style and old age vibe of the hotel. I also appreciated the friendliness and courtesy of the staff.

The small bathrooms and lack of terrace on the oceanfront.

The total enchantment of this beautiful art deco hotel. Every where your eye lands, there's something beautiful to take in. They have done a marvelous job at restoring to all of her glory.

Not enough places to hang towels or to place your clothes.

Quaint, charming, and classic! Staying at the George is truly special experience. From the incredibly personable staff to the unique touches in the room like saltwater taffy and the record player, it feels like coming home to visit a fun eccentric family you didn’t know you had!

Only that the Hot Water took along time to get to the shower. But it’s an older Hotel and understand.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and attentive, with a special shout-out to Joshua for going above and beyond. I really appreciated the bikes available for guests – such a thoughtful addition. The location couldn’t be better, and the hotel truly has a unique character that makes it feel special.

Our stay was absolutely fabulous. As we were on honeymoon the hotel offered us an upgrade which was just exceptional. The suite we were given made our trip so much more enjoyable and we loved being in our room with its gorgeous sea view & every little detail was accounted for. Right down to dry shampoo in the bathroom with gorgeous robes and slippers. The whole experience was so luxurious. The staff were wonderful from the very first person at the valet, reception & the lovely gentleman who took our luggage to the room, the lovely turn down service staff in the evening to the housekeepers in the morning everyone was just wonderful & so professional! Location is superb and when you look back from the beach the hotel stands out a mile with its quirky colours. We stayed in 5 different hotels throughout out USA trip & this wee by far the best.

Loved the style of the property. Really unique and special place.

For the quality of the rooms, it’s very expensive. There’s nowhere better in Santa Monica to stay but we also stayed in West Hollywood and had a nicer suite with a city view for about a third of the room rate.

Nice glass of Prosecco upon checking in…..very friendly staff!

This is great Hotel, staff are amazing especially Preston! Its so close to the beach and walkable that makes it a easy choice. Always my go to place when staying in Santa Monica

The location is unbeatable, the building is beautiful and exceptionally maintained and the staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay. The room and facilities were perfect. We didn't use any of the restaurants on site, maybe next time.

It was another amazing/magical weekend. Always love the Georgian Hotel. Staff always amazing service, food/drinks were excellent.

We loved everything about this hotel. From Amanda at the front desk to the bar manager, we felt well taken care of. Excellent location.

Uncomfortable bed and really, really, really loud noises from hallway, rooms, adjacent, and outside. The furnishings are beautiful, but, at its core, it’s an older hotel that made for a rough day.

Great location, nice ambiance, kind staff. Check-in was easy and fast. The bed was very comfortable. The decor of the hotel is phenomenal.

The shower/bathtub set up made it hard to keep the bathroom floor dry. This could use a little update.

Hotel w świetnej lokalizacji, z pięknym widokiem na plażę. Pokoje są niewielkie, ale bardzo stylowe i dobrze wyposażone – niczego nie brakowało. Restauracja w hotelu serwuje naprawdę smaczne jedzenie, a parking z obsługą działa sprawnie. Jedynym minusem jest winda, na którą czasem trzeba długo czekać, choć zawsze można skorzystać ze schodów.

The cocktails and meals were delicious, I had breakfast lunch and dinner. Hotel beautiful and really fun to even just walk through. But the staff really shined, I felt welcomed and like I could ask for anything and it would happen right then. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back my next time in town!

Poor functionally of basic things in the room: A bedside light that did not work, Leaky shower. For this price point, we expected full functionality of basic room amenities like electricity and water.

Fabulous hotel. Beautifully decorated. Feels like i time traveled back to the 40s having a business/romantic weekend with my husband. Just such a classy place all around - from the service to the decor to the amazing food at the restaurant. Will definitely return.
