La proximité de l'océan et des transports publiques. Il fait plus frais à Santa Monica qu'à l'intérieur des terres grâce au vent constant, ce qui est particulièrement agréable.

L'année dernière alors que je n'avais pas utilisé le service de nettoyage tous les jours, l'hôtel m'avait remboursé plusieurs dizaines de dollars, en fonction du nombre de jours sans service. Cette année, pas de remboursement. Je pouvais dépenser la somme en achetant des médicaments ou de la nourriture à la réception. J'ai appris cela en partant, et malheureusement, je n'ai pas pu dépenser tout mon avoir qui est définitivement perdu.

The hotel’s proximity to the ocean is just perfect! The front desk staff is very friendly! Fun to sit outside on the balcony/patio and people watch as well as admire the ocean.

An overall great experience at the Ocean View Hotel. Stayed for two nights and check in by a friendly Theresa was a breeze after a long flight from London. It’s well located across the road from the Santa Monica pier and 3rd street promenade and lots of other restaurants. Theresa was helpful and friendly with advice on the area. The room was clean and well purposed for our family. Nice balcony to watch the sunset (albeit with a busy road in between) It’s not a huge hotel and didn’t have an onsite gym but was told I could use one near by. We didn’t use the hotel parking and used the parking garage (structure 6) as we didn’t need to use the car for a couple of days but we were told it wasn’t an issue to pull up and load our luggage in their car park which was appreciated. Would stay here again for sure a very good choice for a Santa Monica Stay.

Ashley and Teresa were fantastic. Most helpful with making sure my reservation was all good to go. Always appreciate coming here to Oceanview hotel . The entire staff is amazing.

We loved staying at the Ocean View! It was so conveniently located right across the street from the beach, and walking distance to a ton of amazing shops and restaurants. i am going to start with my overall experience was excellent. we started out with a slight issue, which was that i called to see if a room was ready for early arrival. they said rooms were available, but by the time i got there, none were ready. it was explained, they are given out on a first-come, first-serve basis. which is fair. so we waited until one was available. the hotel accommodated us by securing our luggage while we walked around the area. besides that small hiccup, everything was excellent. the staff was beyond friendly and helpful. especially the cafe out front. i cannot forget to mention the front desk and how friendly they were to us. valet was great too. top notch all the way around.

What a pleasant surprise! So clean. Incredibly convenient location near the Santa Monica Pier. Huge rooms that are reasonably priced for the area. But what put it over the top was the service. Eva & Theresa at the front desk went out of their way to make my stay perfect. I travel often and was blown away by their genuine kindness. What a refreshing change from the big corporate hotel feeling.

This hotel is right across the street from the beach however, to get there is not easy. But the staff; Joy and Josue, went out of their way to assist our family. Both of them were so nice! Rooms were really nice with view of the pier and ocean. Nice shower!

I really liked the location, beach is across the road near the pier, nice walk to Venice, plenty around for eats and drinks and ability to go to Anytime Fitness was a bonus. Room was great, clean and roomy. You can experience Venice without the loud noisy nights by staying here. Happy with the cost for a balcony king room. Heidi was very welcoming and helpful as concierge.

A huge thank you to Joy, who was absolutely fantastic! As soon as she learned we were coming to celebrate my daughter's birthday and that this trip to the United States was a surprise for her, she was incredibly kind. When we arrived at the hotel, my daughter was very emotional and in tears. Joy took her in her arms, said some lovely words, and helped make the moment even more special. When we returned to our room, a delightful surprise awaited us: a small gift box filled with treats for her birthday. This gesture deeply touched us. The hotel is also ideally located, which allowed us to fully enjoy our stay on foot. The premises are very clean, well-maintained, and pleasant. A big thank you to Joy for her kindness, professionalism, and generosity, as well as to the entire hotel team for making this stay even more memorable.

I recently stayed at Ocean View Hotel and wanted to share my honest experience. The location is excellent, and the ocean view from the room was amazing. The room itself was immaculate, very clean, and well maintained, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I’d also like to give a special thank you to Joy and Teresa. Both were very helpful, friendly, and made my stay more enjoyable. Their professionalism and customer service really stood out. Unfortunately, I had an extremely disappointing experience with Heidi at the front desk. At check-in, Heidi mentioned that she would get paid if I left her a review, and she also offered a free room upgrade in connection with that review. I found that concerning because reviews should be based on a guest’s honest experience and not influenced by incentives. I was originally planning on leaving a positive review and mentioning Heidi by name. However, that changed after my pregnant wife went to the front desk for help after forgetting her room key. Heidi was on her phone and was extremely rude when my wife approached her for assistance. I don’t know if she was having a bad day or dealing with something personal, but the interaction was unpleasant and unnecessary. I want to emphasize that Joy and Theresa were great and represented the kind of service guests hope to receive. I hope management looks into these concerns, because guests should feel respected and confident that their experiences and reviews are genuine.

Everything about the customer service and the hotel has been absolutely phenomenal. I’ve been privileged to be assisted by Heidi, Emily, Ashley, and Joy and no matter who’s helping the hospitality is incomparable. Amazing hotel and experience constantly. Also shoutout Cristian for always helping with the bookings and customer service I’m staying here for work and they’ve made the experience amazing.

The location of Ocean View Hotel cannot be beat. It is right on Ocean Dr., across the street from Santa Monica Pier. The staff, especially Eva, are amazing and take great pride in their work. They were kind to accommodate me with an early check-in when I was feeling ill. I definitely recommend Ocean View Hotel!

The hotel was average. For the price we paid, $980 for two nights, I expected more than average. You can hear everything, the walls are paper thin. The rooms are outdated. It is a good location and parking was nice. We did enjoy the balcony. However, if we were to come again, I would select a different hotel.

We booked this hotel last minute and have no regrets. The ocean view hotel was a great experience. We stayed one night while passing through Santa Monica. It is in a very convenient location to walk to many attractions, shopping and food. The best part of the stay was the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly. Heidi and Emily checked us in and were very kinda and accommodating. We arrived early and were asking about parking and they got us in our room early so we had a place for our luggage while we went to explore. The Oceanview is definitely worth the stay. Incredible experience!

The location is amazing! Right on the beach next to lots of places to go shopping and eat. The hotel is super cute. We were helped by Mario and Joy. Mario greeted us and helped us get an early check-in he was super friendly and prompt. I would definitely rent another room here.

It's a wonderful hotel right next to the beach. The room was comfortable, clean, and nice to be in. The hotel has access to a great number of good restaurants around it. Had a wonderful 2 week stay at Ocean View! The staff was wonderful during my trip and incredibly helpful before my arrival answering my questions. Special thanks to Heidi, Joy and Prudencia! I opted to do their green clean program for all of my stay except for one day and they were extremely nice helping me swap towels and change out glassware. The location is excellent for walking around and visiting the pier and local restaurants too. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful hotel with fantastic people who are willing to help at the drop of a dime. I loved the location and how easy it was to get to everything without feeling like I was constantly traveling. What really made this stay special, though, was the staff. Heidi and Ashley helped make my daughter’s 16th birthday something she’ll never forget. On very short notice, they somehow pulled together flowers, a birthday balloon, and a collection of sweet treats waiting for her. The look on my daughter’s face was priceless it nearly brought my 16-year-old to tears, which isn’t easy to do. In a world where good service can sometimes feel transactional, the people here went above and beyond simply doing their jobs. They genuinely cared. Their kindness, thoughtfulness, and willingness to make a special moment even more special meant a lot to me as a dad. The hotel itself is beautiful, but it’s the people who make it exceptional. Thank you, Heidi, Ashley, and the entire team for helping create a memory my daughter and I will carry with us for a very long time. We are deeply grateful.

I love my room with Oceanview, I came in late and didn’t want to drive because I was drinking and lovely Porsha showed me how to order 711 from Uber Eats and even verified my ID. Hotel room was clean and staff was nice but Porsha was the best. I will be back to visit soon

I found this hotel at the last minute on my actual birthday and was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable rate for an ocean-view room. From the moment I arrived, the experience was exceptional. I pulled into the VIP valet area and was immediately greeted by the valet team, who were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help. Their smiles and positive energy set the tone for a wonderful stay. At check-in, Whitney made my birthday truly unforgettable. She was warm, energetic, and genuinely kind. When she learned it was my birthday, she sang “Happy Birthday” to me and then surprised me with a beautiful birthday card signed by her, along with a delicious assortment of chocolates presented in an elegant black Oceanview-branded box. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture. Whitney also recommended a dinner spot that was absolutely phenomenal. When I returned to the hotel later that evening carrying my birthday flowers, she welcomed me back with another grand rendition of “Happy Birthday.” Not only was it incredibly sweet, but she can actually sing! It made me feel so special and celebrated. The hotel itself was charming, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. What stood out most was the genuine hospitality and personal touches that made my birthday one to remember. Thank you, Whitney, and the entire team for making my special day even more memorable. I will absolutely be returning and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for outstanding service and a memorable experience.
