Perfect location, spotless clean, helpful staff, it is more like a motel so keep the expectation as such but very good from cleaning perspective, number of towels, pillows etc. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Choose a room with balcony, it makes the difference. Ground floor rooms are just at the parking lot and some next to laundry so if you book balcony ans higher floors ypu aill love it.

The pipes were having some issue so the noise was a bit too much, the floor in the room is a bit uneven but not a big deal. Overall a good price/performance choice in torrance.

The manager refused to give deposit back until I video taped the room was left in proper condition, meaning no violation. When the Maid Sandra let me back inside the room to video tape the room was left in proper order and no rules were violated. The maid Sandra lied and said she saw cigarettes ashes in order to keep my deposit. I recorded the conversation on my I phone and took pics , when I informed them , the Manager n Sandra the maid . the Manager then threatened to not give my Deposit back, I called my bank and informed them of the possible fraudulent a activity with $50 deposit, the bank said they charged me $170 , no $120 , so I went back in to inform the manager and get get receipt for deposit n credit for deposit as well Manage refused to supply document for deposit nor refund . Horrible experience. Also the room carpet 224 was soaking wet at the entry uoto 4ft into the room from an adjacent flood of water coming from another room. I called Corporate Howard Johnson to report fraudulent practices as well .

Staff is incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. This was my third time staying here and staff is always the best thing about the stay. Beds are comfortable, location is excellent for accessing everything to do in Torrance, and waffle maker breakfast was very nice. Price is the best you'll get in the area- but do remember you get what you pay for.

Every time I have stayed here (three times in three years!) I have noticed the rooms are extremely damp. The carpet feels almost wet on bare feet, the air is musty and mildewy, and any wet clothes or swimwear left out to dry remains damp. Leaving the extractor fan on in the bathroom doesn't help, and putting the AC fan on high doesn't help either. I understand the hotel is 10 minutes from the water but it is dreadfully, uncomfortably damp, moreso than any beach hotel I've stayed in. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a mold problem that guests can't see. It feels like the hotel maybe needs a central dehumidifying system and new carpets for the rooms. I won't be staying here again when I return to Torrance because the humidity of the rooms is so gross.

The only good thing at breakfast was the coffee. The beds and bathroom was clean.

The carpet in room 203 was old & dirty. We had black stuff come off our feet. The carpet should be replaced. Eggs & bacon should be added.

The rugs were filthy. Our feet were black just walking across the rug once. Only waffles for breakfast. Not much of a breakfast. It should not be advertised as offering a breakfast.

Это просто чудесный отель за эту стоимость!!Ещё и с бесплатной стоянкой!Завтрак скудноват конечно ,но во-первых,он есть))Что опять же за эту стоимость удивительно!А во-вторых кофе-чай-сок были в доступе круглосуточно и без ограничений,что большая редкость.Номер был без нареканий,чистый,с хорошими кроватями,средствами для душа,феном,холодильником и микроволновкой.До аэропорта LAX минут 20 до гаражей для сдачи прокатной машины,а оттуда бесплатный шаттл в терминалы вылета.

The carpet was stained/dirty, website says room service and there was no room service available( had to walk almost a mile to get a cheeseburger), website says check out is noon & its actually 11am so we were asked to hurry up and leave ( which was embarrassing ) and we were stuck in the elevator for over a half hour. When that happened we hit the emergency alert button and no one came. Yelled n screamed, no one heard us. Then I called the front desk from my cell phone then they called the fire dept.. I've heard nice things about this hotel and I am just very disappointed

The location is close to I-10, which is very convenient. The hotel is clean, and the staff are very helpful.

Not much, the rooms were nice and clean. The property itself was not so good. I didn’t know only coffee and waffles were available. We will never stay there again.

The location was great, room was big, there was a sliding door that opened to a small balcony.

The room was next to the stairwell and you could hear people all night and day. The people were not quite and sometimes set of their car alarms on purpose. Housekeeping only goes in every 3 days to service the room. The floors don't get cleaned daily the trash isn't emptied. If you ask for service sooner they will tell you maybe if they can then reset you 3 day time. Was there for 5 days and housekeeping came in 1x.

Noisy at night, there was a parking issue. I guess there were visitors using the clients parking space and blocking the access to the parking area. There was an instance in which a visitor insulted one of the guests because he blocked him and was not able to get out of the parking space. The problem was that the visitor should have not been using the guest, space because we pay for the staying at the hotel and the visitor should respect that ! There should be order in this facility, some one has to let visitors know that the parking is for the clients and not the visitors.

Location is very nice. Lobby is on the 2nd floor which was a little confusing upon arrival but actually worked out better when getting some coffee, which is available 24/7, in the morning before leaving. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable.

Our family has been using this location for the last 4 years, twice a year. Mainly because of location and the comp breakfast. We were here also in February , but THIS visit...Very disappointed that the breakfast was only serving waffles. No toothpaste, bar soap, iron/board. Like it was before previous visits. The ice machine on 3rd floor IS ALWAYS out of order, EVERY time we visit! The room smelled of BO...this place went down hill. We are visiting again in June, but will look elsewhere. We stayed 4 days.

La moquette de la chambre etait propre en apparence mais en realite poisseuse. Il s'agit je crois d'une difference culturelle avec les USA (port des chaussures dans la maison ?)...à moins qu'elle n'ai pas ete bien nettoyée. Mettez des chaussettes et elles finirons noires. Je recommande de prevoir des chaussons pour les personnes qui ne sont pas habituees ou qui ont la peau sensible. Aussi, petite deception sur le petit dejeuner avec juste des gauffres pour se remplir l'estomac.

I had an issue with someone at the hotel that reported some negative information regarding my stay. I just wanna mention, I found a bedbug in my bed. I’ve attached photos! I did not bring it to the hotel manager or the staff attention because I did not see any more on the bed so I did not want to cause any issues!!! So, when I went to extend my stay there because I really do like this hotel, they told me I could not go back there!!!???? They have a problem with my two dogs that are very well behaved and did great. They may have made a boo-boo on the carpet, but I always picked it up. Maybe one got by me wow no big deal! But I’ll tell you what finding a bedbug in my bed with proof I want my money back now I’m done.

The whole place was just weird and doesn’t look clean at all. There was no iron/ board . The hand soap and body wash were glued in a wall outside the bathroom. I found a pubic hair in the toilet seat when I went to used it. Good thing I always carry a wet whipped towel and disinfect wipes with me.

Itza is awesime, she helped me check in with ease and is courteous and professional. Breakfast was waffles and cereal bars. I really enjoyed the complimentary coffee and tea. Room was on the smaller side but did its job.

Horribly noisy hotel with staff that just adds to the noise problem of the paper thin walls that allow every kind of noise; from the street, from the adjacent properties, from the A/C units, and from the loud carts that the housekeeping staff wheel around all morning while they yell to one another down the halls. It's impossible to sleep in this place due to all this noise! The facilites are old and poorly maintained and the carpets are filthy. They clean the best they can, but broken tiels, peeling paint, old worn carpeting that gets rained on from outside and the noise make this a place to stay away from

Beds are too tall for short people like me. Housekeeping should make a footstool available. Breakfast was adequate, although not expansive. The waffles were good and light.

Everything and everyone working there was wonderful. Loved staying in clean well kept rooms. They got anything that needed attention done or fixed right away. The beds and pillows are totally fine and more comfortable than many hotels. Great accommodations for a great price.
