Great hotel

Pricey. “ Acropolis view” is just a peak of the acropolis if you lean out on the patio. The rooftop restaurant is great with a great view.

Excellent and convenient location

Not 5 star standard at all. Cleanliness and quality of bathroom very poor. Took an extra 300 Euros off our card on check in and still had to pay for a drink at the bar. Could not put the drinks on our room tab. Barman told us wrong opening time of rooftop bar so we did not get to see sunset views of the Acropolis. Pool was cold. Room was missed for cleaning as our door sign had been turned round for maid service.

Die Lage war absolut top! Besonders wenn man nur kurz in Athen ist.

Wegen der Fotos habe ich ein relativ modernes und schickes Hotel erwartet. Dem war nur teilweise so. Vorweg: Alles war sauber und das Personal zuvorkommend, aber es war dich sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Man zahlt definitiv für die Lage. Das Frühstück war im Untergeschoss in einem Raum der vermutlich seit den 80ern nicht mehr renoviert worden war. Früherer Luxis, der jetzt einfach nicht mehr guter Standard ist. Für eine Nacht war es ok, trotzdem hat mich der Zimmerprei im Nachhinein geärgert.

The hotel is in a residential neighbourhood a few minutes walk from the Acropolis Museum. It was a quiet area with great access to the vibrant streets of Plaka and surrounds. Staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. The hotel is clean, has a good size pool, a bar and a fabulous rooftop restaurant with a view of the acropolis. We enjoyed our time there.

Chambre : annoncée avec balcon équipé, ce n'était pas le cas. Restaurant roof-top : prix exorbitants pour prestations faibles; tant niveau culinaire que du service. La magnifique vue ne justifie pas ces tarifs.

Everything was perfect. Every member of the staff was so friendly and helpful. Hotel was in a perfect location for touring the acropolis and surrounding areas with beautiful views from our room and spectacular rooftop restaurant.

De locatie is op 10min van Acropolis en Plaka. Het hotel heeft een mooie roof garden op 6e verd.

Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding, zwembad is meer een badkuip en gelegen in volle schaduw, het ontbijt is eentonig na 5 dagen, zonder enige variatie.

Hotel clásico. Antiguo pero muy muy bien cuidado. Trato personalizado extraordinario. Las vistas desde el restaurante del rooftop son inigualables.

Todo nos gustó. Simplemente tener en cuenta que es un viaje al pasado. Piscina agradable de ciudad pero con sombra por la tarde.

Breakfast was good. You can ask for any type of cofee you want. Location was 15 m far from attrations and plaka place and not as mentiond "5 minuts" .

I did not like the area around the hotel. I did not like the exucutive room where is the only exucutive is the price. No vew, no offers.

The staff was very friendly and spoke almost perfect English which helped since my Greek is not perfect. We were a 5 minute walk from the Acropolis and the best parts of Athens. The rooms were comfortable and I got to enjoy the balcony.

I wish the pool temperature was a bit warmer. Was a little cold even with the outside temp hitting 39 degrees Celsius. I had to get out to warm up a little.

Central location - but not easily accessible via metro. Very clean and nice large bed.

Staff were not very helpful - I was asked for identity verification 3 separate times during the check in processes. They also misinformed me about the opening times of their rooftop bar. The pool is quite disappointing as gets little sun, the shower is also disappointing for a luxury hotel.

Die Absaugung der Toilette funktioniert nicht und die Möbel waren schon bisschen in den Jahren gekommen.

La posizione eccellente, Acropoli a vista e vicinissima anche alla passeggiata pedonale, nonché al Museo: perfetta. Altro plus è la colazione a buffet, davvero ottima e molto varia, uova e pancake troppo buoni. Personale più che gentile, disponibile a risolvere ogni richiesta. Camera un po’ piccola, ma pare sia frequente negli hotel di Atene e cmq la vista sul Partenone dal balcone ripaga. Biancheria da letto/bagno molto bella. Letti comodissimi. Spazi comuni molto ampi e confortevoli. Il ristorante sul tetto è splendido, ottimo cibo, un po’ caro ma la vista sull’Acropoli illuminata è impagabile. Piscina piccola e a pian terreno, ma in mezzo alla città non si può pretendere un’olimpionica ovviamente.

Mah piccoli dettagli, tipo avere la scelta tra due tipi di cuscini, tuttavia è bastato chiederli e sono arrivati immediatamente. La prima notte restava accesa la luce interna dell’armadio, fastidiosa, ma abbiamo segnalato il problema e il giorno dopo era già sistemata. Bravi.

Свм готель розташований в старому, грязному кварталі. Застаріла система кондиціювання, в нашому номері регулювання температури не функціонувало Телевізори застарілі - відсутня функція Smart, і при цьому тільки грецькі канали та Al Jazeera Дуже сумні балкончики, на які краще і не виходити Сам дизайн - повертає вас у 90і або 00 роки, коли чорний мармур та позолота вважалися сучасним ремонтом Подвійна кровать - це зіставлені 2 ліжка :)))

Colazione ottima e varia con molti prodotti sfiziosi. Vista dal bar sul rooftop incredibile, sull'acropoli. Posizione centrale, a 5 minuti a piedi dall'Acropoli e da molte vie piene di ristoranti e localini.

Le dimensioni della stanza un pò ridotte ma i servizi erano eccellenti.

We stayed at the 5th floor, right underneath the rooftop at 6th floor, so it was extremely noisy, even after restaurant was closed, as the staff was probably cleaning it.

Excellent location to walk to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum plus Temple of Zeus and other attractions. Close to all Hop On Hop Off Bus pick up locations. Beautiful facilities and roof top view of the Acropolis.

Staff in restaurant were very pushy to get us in and out in the shortest of time so not a very relaxing experience as they hovered around the table the whole time. Not much room around the pool

Le rapport qualité prix est très mauvais. La chambre était vieillotte et la salle de bain aussi... Le petit déjeuner est servi au niveau -1 : quel dommage !

The hotel is beautiful, and I especially liked the design of the lobby with all the marble, it gives the hotel a very elegant feel. The pool area is nice, and the rooms are comfortable and pleasant.

Unfortunately, the rooftop only opens at 19:00, which was disappointing. We didn’t have the chance to visit it and enjoy the view that is shown in the photos on Booking.com. I think the hotel should clearly mention the rooftop opening hours in advance so guests can plan accordingly. Another small issue was that the balcony floor was quite sticky, possibly because of the trees along the street.

El restaurante de la azotea donde se come muy bien con vistas increíbles a la Acrópolis. Su ubicación también es muy buena, a 10 minutos de los principales monumentos. El personal: camareros, recepcionistas, limpiadoras…atentos y amables. La piscina que sirve para refrescarse después de un día de caminata , aunque igual que las habitaciones, necesita una restauración.

Las habitaciones y los baños necesitan una remodelación, aún más si es una habitación superior con vistas al Acrópolis por la que se paga bastante más.

La ubicación es inmejorable y las vistas al Partenón desde la terraza únicas, aunque sólo abren a partir de las 19 h. para servir cenas y copas. La atención del personal es exquisita y la habitación dispone de detalles como cepillo de dientes (que ya no se ve en hoteles de 5 estrellas). El desayuno está muy bien, contra las críticas que había leído: es variado y los productos son frescos y el espacio donde se sirve el desayuno es muy amplio.

Considero que las habitaciones y los baños en concreto necesitan una reforma, al igual que la piscina.

La ubicación inmejorable, el hotel muy bonito. El restaurante en el rooftop es un must, maravilloso. Lobby con gusto, apetece tomarse algo.

Esperas algo mas en lo que habitaciones se refiere, algo mas de espacio.

Merkeze yakındı yürüyerek her ere gidebildik. Etrafı da güvenilirdi özellikle gece otele dönüşlerde sıkıntı yaşamadık. Çocuklu bir aile olarak rahat ettik

3 gece 4 gün kaldık hiç bir sorun yaşamadık.

Konum olarak iyiydi, çalışanlar yardımcı olmaya çalışıyor ve ilgiliydi. Çatı katındaki Roof Garden manzara ve yemekler açısından iyiydi.

Oda temizliği yoktu, sadece toparlamaktan ibaretti. Lavabo gideri tıkalıydı, not bıraktığım halde düzeltmediler. Balkon giderinden pis su geliyordu. Sadece ilk gün odaya su koydular, diğer günler ücretliymiş, ilginç bir politika. Rezervasyon öncesi görsellerde göründüğü gibi bulmadım.

We loved the location and the staff was very professional and helpful. We were rather disappointed with the breakfast. Some fresh fruit would have been nice, and the menu was the same every day. A little variation would have been nice too. We ran out of body wash the second day in the hotel and notified the front desk. They never did refill our body wash. The cleaning staff needs to pay more attention to the amenities in the room. The terrace restaurant was nice, but very pricey and hot. There wasn't much shade there when we went there for dinner. It really needs some shade.

Great classic hôtel with Amazing view on acropolis

Very friendly staff. Great location. Less than a 10-minute walk to the Acropolis, temple of Zeus and plaka Market. Had a pool which was nice at the end of a hot day. Loved the halva yogurt!

no nos dieron la habitación con cama king size aunque estaba confirmada por el hotel, la habitación ni estaba terminada, sucia, la maquina de cafe no funcionaba e hicimos una reserva en el rooftop para una mesa en concreto y confirmamos hasta dos veces la mesa y cuando llegamos la habían dado a otra familia

We absolutely loved our stay at the Divani Palace! The location is excellent - literally a 5 minute walk to the Acropolis Museum and the Acropolis entrance. The beds are really comfortable and the bathroom provides counter space and a walk-in shower. The staff was also very accommodating, they even let us check in a tiny bit early after we were so exhausted as it was the end of our trip and we had just gotten off a plane. If we ever return to Athens, we will definitely be staying at the Divani Palace!

To be honest, I can't think of much we didn't like. The only thing that sticks out to me is that the pool area was a little bit buggy - so be sure to bring your bug spray!
