Lots of facilities, great to have use of kayaks etc Boathouse organised a great trip for us(private trip which we paid for but was worth it) Spa is lovely and very chilled.

Very large and limited capacity for the activities, you need to be very organised to book restaurants or even try to get a ball or golf clubs to play with. For me that takes away from he relaxation and freedom of a holiday. Also feels very isolated, would advise having a car to have flexibility and be able to access towns unless you want to pay for taxis which works out very expensive. Very much a resort and would be easy to stay confined and miss out on more authentic Maurutian experience.

Un magnifique site avec plein de activites (golf, equitation, tir a l arc,…) et un service remarquable. Nous adorons cet hotel et y retournons souvent.

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen, verfügt über einen schönen großen Strand mit reichlich Platz, so dass man zu keinem Zeitpunkt das Gefühl hat, dass es irgendwo überlaufen ist. Die Sonnenuntergänge sind atemberaubend. Das Wasser ist aufgrund der Korallen eher zum Schnorcheln - sehr schön! -geeignet als zum Schwimmen. Der Strand wird jeden Morgen gereinigt. Die Zimmer sind gut, großzügig und ruhig, die Ausstattung ist prima. Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön und für einen Urlaub sehr gut geeignet. Da ich mit meinen beiden Söhne gereist bin, hat das Hotel flexibel auf den Wunsch nach einem dritten Bett reagiert und dies unkompliziert ermöglicht. Die weitläufige Anlage bietet verschiedene Restaurants und Bars, so dass man die Unterkunft nicht unbedingt verlassen muss. Aus dem Poolbereich hat man einen tollen Blick auf das Meer.

Wenn man auf - allerdings auf hohem Niveau - etwas kritisieren möchte, dann ist es die Schnelligkeit im Service, dies war insbes. im Beach Restaurant auffällig. Die Abläufe sind nicht immer effizient, viele doppelte Wege, wenig Abstimmung der Servicekräfte, da könnte mit etwas mehr "Blick für die Lage" die Schnelligkeit verbessert werden. "2 minutes" war eine gängige Zeitangabe, das konnte aber sehr, sehr viel länger dauern.

Excellent, j ai croisé que des professionnels. Le petit déjeuner était somptueux. Moi qui aime les fruits je me suis régalé avec ma femme.

Buffet variation could have been better specifically with regards to Mauritian food. Tourists come to experience local cuisine and wouldn't trust street vendors (outside the hotel). Could have had gateaux piments, dhal puri, Mauritian curries etc. Spa was slightly underwhelming. No pool there. Lack of scents in steam rooms. Given an XXL gown when my wife is petite. Slightly poor staff service in terms of having to ask them various things. But all the above are minor gripes as opposed to being dissatisfied or let down.

Wir hatten traumhafte Tage in dieser schönen Anlage verbringen dürfen - ein Ort wie im Paradies. Die ganze Anlage ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Man fühlt sich wie im Garten Eden. Unsere Suite war sehr großzügig ausgestattet und wir hatten einen direkten Blick auf das Meer und einen separaten Strandzugang. Das Personal war hervorragend und es wurden alle Wünsche jederzeit erfüllt. Ein großes Dankeschön an die Mitarbeiter :) Das Essen in den Restaurants war sehr gut und vielfältig. Am meisten beeindruckt hat uns die Pflanzenvielfalt in der gesamten Anlage. Einfach nur schön. Bei Fragen zu Ausflügen etc. wurden wir sehr gut von den Mitarbeitern an der Rezeption beraten. Vielen Dank.

Good Spread for Breakfast. Having many restaurants gave us a good choice. Staff were very helpful and courteous. We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary and they were exceptional. they even baked a cake and personalized it.

L'hôtel est vraiment très grand, très nature, vous pouvez voir des animaux (chevaux, coq poule), des terrains de tennis, mini golf, arc à flèche, 2 piscines, 6-8 restaurants, des activités à la plage ou même à la piscine. Le personnel est vraiment très gentil.

Je ne peux pas dire apprécié ou non car l'hôtel était vraiment bien mais je trouve que les piscines étaient bien mais il y a mieux et la plage de l'hôtel également n'est pas folle, obligé de prendre la voiture pour aller en voir d'autres

This is a perfect getaway holiday destination. The beach offers an amazing sunset view beautiful and peaceful. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We received excellent service from Mariam at the restaurant, as well as from Roshan and Andriano, who made us very nice cocktails. They were friendly and professional. Dinner was great, with a variety of cuisines every day. The seafood was good and we really enjoyed it. Breakfast was also amazing. The rooms are very nice, with a bathtub, a comfortable bed and a minibar that was always fully stocked.

Provide a digital map with clear directions. The property has a large number of rooms and navigating is a challenge.

Alles in Ordnung besonders mein Zimmermädchen Rosette. Die ist besonders gut. Der Strand war wunderschön und hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Dieses Hotel hat Stoffservietten. Ich war auch im Spa. Die Dame Komal hat mich sehr gut massiert. Insgesamt ist es ein gutes Hotel.

Schöner Strand, gutes Angebot für Ausflüge/ Unternehmungen, schönes Zimmer und gemütliches Bett. Das Spa-Angebot und Spa-Bereich, gepflegte Anlage.

Schlechter Service. Beim Check-in wurde uns direkt gesagt, das wir froh sein können, dass unser Zimmer schon fertig sei (wir waren 15:15 Uhr da). Zudem erhielten wir nur wenig Infos beim Check-in und mussten die Buchung von Booking per Mail an das Hotel weiterleiten (bei 5 Sterne?). Das Personal an der Rezeption und Poolbar wirkte teils wenig erfahren und war kaum auskunftsfähig. Auf einen Cocktail haben wir 40 Minuten gewartet. Wir mussten selbst herausfinden, dass man die Tischreservierungen nur am Buffetrestaurant vornehmen kann (wussten einige Angestellte selbst nicht), nachdem wir auf dem Gelände uns erstmal ohne Hilfe zurecht finden mussten. Die Rezeption wollte/ konnte nicht auf kurzem Wege telefonisch die Reservierung vornehmen. Leider waren dann aber auch alle Restaurants für die nächsten 2 Tage schon ausgebucht. Das Buffetrestaurant bietet viel Auswahl aber ist geschmacklich eher Kantine, was für den Preis dann doch enttäuschend ist. Es gab viele Mücken, mehr als wo anders auf der Insel. Da wir vorher in anderen Orten und Unterkünften (mit weniger Sternen) waren, hatten wir den Vergleich und wurden bei weniger Sternen mit wesentlich besseren Service verwöhnt.

Einfach eine superschöne, ruhige Lage, großzügig genug in einem ehemaligen botanischen Garten. Mein Deluxe plzs All incl Zimmer war mit 58 qm sehr groß, sehr sauber,, große Dusche, Fön, Duschgel, Shampoo, Condituoner, Seife, Bademantel, alles vorhanden. Servicepersonal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das SpA ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Genug Liegen am Strand und Pool. Bügelgelegenheit vorhanden. Strom wird mit Zimmerkarte am Eingangsstecker aktiviert

L’agencement des espaces de vie de l’hôtel est bien fait ! Le buffet est varié et de très bonne qualité, le restaurant grillades est au top . Tout le personnel est attentionné il y a un vrai changement à ce niveau par rapport à notre précédent séjour .

It was good.

We were returning customers to the Maritim Mauritius, so knew generally what to expect. We were again blown away by the quality of customer services from every level of staff as well as the quality of the hotel as a whole. The general restaurant food quality was really very good and having vegetarians in our family group, it's fair to say that veg and non-veg are well catered for. The main buffet restaurant has been re-vamped in recent years, with a very wide selection of starters, mains, salads etc. The bedroom (superior) was great, loads of room and a very comfy and enormous bed with a good view through the palm trees to the sea. Other restaurants were equally great with a pan-Asian, a beach side, and a BBQ/grill/Pizza "sand in your toes" one as well. The pools were a great size (a little chilly initially, but we stayed in for ages). There is also a variety of water sports available, glass bottom boats and snorkelling trips, plus a stable for horse riding along the beach, mini and full golf (extra), plus of course a lively spa. Something for everyone! All in all, we would recommend going without any hesitation. The big plus was the customer service. We cannot fault the level of care and genuine pleasure they get from seeing customers have the best experience. Any issue or question is dealt with immediately. In a nutshell, we absolutely loved our stay. We did have one problem with the booking (via Booking.com) whereby arranging two rooms (one with 2 adults, the other with two adults and a child): the system would not enable us to book a superior double which we knew had a sofa bed, but would default to make us book a third room/junior suite (extra cost). We had numerous frustrating calls with Booking.com to make sure the child was included on the booking in two rooms, which we eventually resolved.

No real grumbles at all to be honest, everything was as good or better that we would expect from a 5 star hotel. The main issue was wityh the actual booking process which added unnecessary stress.

Staff was not helpful and when you can solve the things they simply don't want to do what good for you, and of course manager is always on some meetings and I think politics on this hotel more about money and not good service! In the restaurants the food not the best and my son get poisoned so he was spending 2 days in the bathroom. Later on when I ask for the invoice they say they will send by email but I had to send so many mails and after long time explaining they is they obligation they finally do. I'm righting only if it's good or bad and this is really bad experience so I'm definitely not recommend!

L’expérience a été globalement agréable, notamment grâce à un personnel exceptionnel, d’une gentillesse rare, toujours professionnel, disponible et réactif. Mention spéciale à Ravi et Fanny du SPA, dont les soins de qualité et l’attention ont largement contribué à rendre notre séjour plus serein et agréable.

Plusieurs aspects ont nettement entaché l’expérience, et ne sont pas à la hauteur d’un établissement se présentant comme un cinq étoiles. La literie, tout d’abord, était particulièrement inconfortable : les matelas n’étaient pas fermes et les oreillers peu ergonomiques, ce qui a rendu le repos difficile sur la durée. Nous avons également été surpris par le manque d’entretien de certains espaces communs : les tables et les chaises du restaurant en extérieur étaient régulièrement souillées par des déjections d’oiseaux, sans nettoyage entre les services. Le système de réservation des dîners s’est révélé peu pratique, avec une organisation rigide et pas toujours adaptée à la réalité du séjour. Enfin, nous avons constaté à plusieurs reprises que les draps en chambre ainsi que les serviettes de plage ou de piscine étaient tachés, ce qui laisse une impression de négligence difficilement excusable dans un hôtel de cette catégorie.

Where to start! Terrible food, many restaurants closed, those that were open all require advanced booking, too many buffets and very little Al la carte. We couldn’t eat in the hotel pretty much, terrible. Staff ignored us. Didn’t get served once on the beach. Staff unfriendly, uninformed. They explained nothing about the hotel. The golf course is in really really bad condition. Room was really cold and couldn’t adjust AC. We visited Westin and Intercontinental and found them to be far superior.

The fact that the hotel was located on a west facing beach with glorious sunsets and within acres and acres of a beautiful garden.

Dans l’ensemble le personnel n’a pas la qualité que l’on attend d’un 5 étoiles. L’accueil est plus que négligé. Pas de présentation sérieuse de l’hôtel et de ses nombreuses facettes à l’arrivée. Mon mari a des difficultés pour les escaliers . Nous avons dû trouver des solutions tout seuls. Heureusement que nous avons fait la connaissance d’un voiturier charmant et dévoué. Nous avions réservé une chambre pour adultes par booking. La réceptionniste péremptoire soutenait que la réservation était effectuée pour une seule personne. J’ai été obligée de chercher mon mail de confirmation dans ma boîte aux lettres et de le lui transférer.Après ces longs atermoiements, nous n’avons reçu aucune excuse. Le vin est servi à température ambiante. Le café est de très mauvaise qualité. La plage du côté du restaurant La Marée est remplie de feuilles mortes et de poussières et insectes. Il semble qu’elle ne soit pas préparée les matins.

Ресторан Château Mon Desir и Cafe Anna работают только в определенные дни, а хотелось бы каждый день. Долго регистрировали заезд. В остальном нареканий нет.

We have enjoyed every minute of our vacation in this beautiful resort. It is located in lush park and has great beach. If you like to snorkel, this is the place to go. We've met many very helpful and kind personnel. Special thanks go to mr.Jay on the Suite beach and Mrs. Kavita, which both were extremely professional and always prepared to help. For sure we'll come back soon!

The hotel was excellent and the views were amazing, the grounds were beautiful and the vista over Turtle Bay was spectacular.

A 5 star hotel but 4 star restaurants. The a la carte restaurants were below standard making the main Belle View look exceptional The food in the restaurants were under or over cooked which made the B V impressive Also the all inclusive drinks package was 3rd world due to lack of quality. This was really disappointing.

The place

We were disappointed with our stay at the hotel. Despite requesting two adjacent rooms at the time of booking, we were placed in rooms that were far from each other. We spent our time worrying about our two elderly and disabled members of our family in a room far from us. Additionally, we had specified a preference for two single beds but did not receive that option. The hotel is not wheelchair accessible, which meant that my mother had difficulty accessing many areas, with the main restaurant being the only exception. Moreover, upon our early arrival on check-in day, we were made to wait for 90 minutes at the reception after receiving a subpar drink that was more water than anything else.

Room allocated was too far and my request for having a room at the lower level was unfortunately not met hence it was a struggle for my elderly parents to walk such a long distance around the block. Hope we could improve the service for senior citizens. Thank you.

We booked this hotel to end our 2 weeks in Mauritius with a plan to relax and enjoy the access to the private beach and activities and spa. We checked in at 3pm on 15th. Our rooms were simply not acceptable. a twin room initially requested was not prepared our double room had dirty bed covers which was witnessed by the Duty Manager. We were then moved to upgraded rooms but not adjoining and not ground level to ease and speed of access to the beach, pool and spa as we would have preferred. Our new room had soiled sheets - see images uploaded- this took 2 days for a response as this was reported with photographic evidence by email to be addressed by the Duty Manager and Housekeeping Manager in person due to no response. We booked a massage for 3 people by phone only to turn up and be told that only 2 people were on the booking with no time left this meant I did not get the spa experience I wanted and paid for. For a 3 day stay of which hours were wasted sorting out issues that were simply.down to quality control and attention to detail for a 5* experience - made our last days disappointing. Whilst staff acted in reactively to our complaints - we were not there to be constantly apologised to and issued rectified ......... the tedious need to have to addressed what Should be standard quality and service for such a short period was not acceptable. If an immediate refund was available to us - we most definitely would have opted to stay somewhere else..

wunderschöne Hotelanlage mit viel Atmosphäre, sehr hilfsbereites Personal, das perfekten Service garantiert, geräumige Zimmer (insbesondere die Suiten), traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge, die man speziell vom Hauptrestaurant aus genießen kann und anscheinend der beste Strand an der Westküste - wir haben bereits für nächstes Jahr gebucht.
