I traveled with a group that in total booked 7 rooms. I found mold in my first room and got a room changed but my new room and all my other traveling companions rooms smelt moldy

The small things- the pool was not in service and the breakfast wasn’t the best. The big things- first room I was put in had a roach in it. The replacement room had beds that creaked and moved when you sat on them. Both rooms smelled bad. Both rooms looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in quite some time. Minimal towels given, asked for more and only received one.

Breakfast-ok. Not the best Best Western breakfast I’ve had but there were scrambled eggs (from a carton, not even pretending to be fresh) and sausage patties. Hotel is showing its age a little.

Reviewed May 29, 2026The Best Western Gwinnett was very nice and clean. The staff were very pleasant and informative. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast area was clean with staff continuing to check on the food and clean tables and handles on the egg & bacon/sausage trays. They had a good choice of food items. The pancake machine was something new to me and fun to watch as you wait for your pancakes.
The property had good parking spaces and you didn’t have to go far to the entrance of the hotel.
