The rooms were cozy and welcoming. The patio for morning coffee and the location was perfect.

At first booking I thought it would just be a place to rest the head. But once settled in we were extremely happy with the accommodation and felt very lucky that we found this place. Defiantly worth it.

Beautiful rooms, great attention to detail in everything. I loved the selection of books about Ucluelet, the little monster toy welcoming us. The coffee and tea in the room was delightful, as was the bento box breakfast everymorning.

Although this place is a little more expensive, it is a beautiful unit. They even had a personalized message for me when I checked in my room. This place is very dog friendly. Unfortunately the room was pretty hot and the air-conditioning was down for service. I like my room cool at night. That was the only issue. Everything else was great. Staff was friendly and my room was very clean and comfortable. If you’re a dog owner or even if you’re not, I do recommend this place.

We stayed two nights at this property. On the first night, we enjoyed an absolutely fabulous 5-course meal, with wine pairing for each course; the food courses (and carefully-selected wines) were excellent, and the entire staff was very helpful and well-informed. There was only one disappointing feature: although I understood (and respected) that the buildings were definitely non-smoking, I was somewhat disappointed that I was told that I couldn't enjoy a cigar in the furthest (unused) corner of the parking lot); however, the rest of our time there far outweighed that small negative feature (which some guests might, of course, consider to be a very positive feature!).

Auch wenn das 5 Gang Menü im Restaurant fantastisch war, war uns bei der Reservierung des Tisches nicht bewusst dann es nur die Option für dieses 5 Gang Menü für 145$ pro Person. Bei Rücktritt von der Reservierung werden 50$ Person Stornierungskosten fällig. Das sollte den Gästen bei Reservierungen bewusst sein. Das im Kühlschrank bereitgestellte Frühstück (Vortag) ohne Brot ist nicht jedermanns Sache

Close to amenities like restaurants, grocery and liquor store and waterfront. Enjoyed the deck and shared patio for a quiet outside place to sit with a drink or to read. Loved a unique breakfast each day with allowances for our dietary restrictions. Super coffee using the French press… yummy cookies. Nice artistic aesthetic touches in the room, and extras available like books, puzzle, cards. Lovely shower and warm floors. High class!

We really enjoyed our stay there. The room was cosy, super clean and very quiet. We loved the bento breakfast box. The 5 course dinner at the restaurant was absolutely wonderfull and would easily deserve a Michelin star. Lily and Warren are running a true hidden gem there ! Thank you.

I think they need to understand customer service. They could have done better with very little effort, but that was not the case. Disappointed in that.

Beautiful property in the heart of Ucluelet. Very clean and modern rooms with a nice view off the covered deck when enjoying the French pressed coffee in the morning. Friendly staff and a fantastic breakfast. Would stay here again next time for sure.

Wonderful stay. Room was laid out thoughtfully, nice decor and fixtures that tied into the natural feel of the area. Breakfast was delicious!! Room right within walking distance of everything however set back from the road so that you couldn't hear a peep!! Staff was friendly and respectful. We have stayed at more expensive hotels in the are a few times and actually preferred Pluvio. We will definitely be returning!

The food was amazing!

Included breakfast was amazing, attached restaurant was great value. Room was very clean and well decorated. All amenities were very nice. Everything was very modern. Check-in and checkout was a breeze and the staff explained everything about the room which was very helpful.

Das Frühstück war täglich gleich (gekochte Eier, kalte Kartoffeln, Beeren und ein Löffel Joghurt, Granola und Milch). Am zweiten Tag wurde die Milch leider nicht nachgefüllt.

The rooms at Pluvio were lovely, clean and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay there. While we didn't get the opportunity to eat at the restaurant, the bento box breakfast provided was incredible and unique. Plus the cookies were amazing!

Intimité totale, 4 grandes chambres et une vingtaine de couverts au restaurant où j’ai vécu une expérience sensorielle magnifique ! Assis au comptoir proche du Chef j’ai assisté au ballet des cuisiniers pour chaque plat que j’ai dégusté ! Alliance des goûts, textures et couleurs parfaitement mariée avec pour chaque plat une boisson sans alcool raffinée et unique ! Je recommande sans hésitation ce magnifique endroit avec sa chaleureuse équipe autour de Lily avec Sophia, Anaïs et le Chef Rory. Je suis devenu un Pluviophile inconditionnel !

Excellent customer service with all staff communication from prior to check in to check in. The room was spacious, modern and clean. The care for animals such as the things provided to ensure my dog had a comfortable stay as well was such a nice touch, we really felt so welcomed!

A wonderful two days!. Everything about Pluvio was faultless. The owners and staff made us feel so welcome. And our meal was the best meal I’ve had! Wonderful to watch it being prepared right in front of us.

It was a lovely stay in a beautiful location. The room was really thoughtfully appointed with many nice, thoughtful touches. The bathroom is really nice with great in shower products (shampoo, body wash). We also ate at the restaurant and we highly recommend this. My wife and I agree that this was probably one of, if not the best meals we’ve ever eaten. The included breakfasts are fantastic and we really like how they are served. The daily cookie was awesome!! The only negative thing we ran into was the club next door was a bit loud on Saturday night—nothing outrageous, but a bit annoying.

The room was very comfortable and well appointed, the only drawback being that it had no view except a bit from the porch but it was too cold to sit outside. The provided breakfast was awesome and very well done. We were very tempted to try out the top rated restaurant, but after taking into account cost of meal, plus wine and gratuities, decided to allocate those funds elsewhere. Maybe we will try it the next time

The headboard was attached to the wall so if you were lying in bed at times you could hear thumping from the other rooms.

We loved our 2-night stay at Pluvio. The "storm room" is spacious, stylish (we went home with some great ideas for a renovation project - bonus!), and extremely clean. We loved the bento box breakfasts and very much appreciated an extra French press pot each morning. Although we missed dining at the restaurant, the stay alone comes highly recommended, plus the owners are lovely people. 5 stars, Pluvio!

This was a fantastic place. The staff were very kind and helpful. Everything was available to walk to. The room was very clean and the morning Bento breakfast was a great idea with a variety to choose from. Very delicious aswell. The back garden was a pretty view to see each morning and the rooftop garden so lovely to relax in. Overall a wonderful place to stay at.

Beautiful room, thoughtfully decorated with art by local artists. And great attention to detail - we really appreciated the locally-sourced products, the very helpful information/instructions, and the exquisite breakfast.

Our stay was nice except for someone banging on our door at 1 am while we were sleeping. They also need a stool in shower for ladies to shave legs with mobility issues.

Wonderful layout of rooms , lots of room And spacious bathroom. Of course, highlight was their famous five Course planned dinner with wine pairings! First Class !

Great location, spacious modern accommodation.

We enjoyed our stay at Pluvio. The property was easily accessible and no issues with parking.The room was spacious and nicely decorated.We particularly enjoyed the spacious clean bathroom with an awesome shower. We won't hesitate staying at Pluvio on our next visit to Ucluelet.

We loved our stay. Only stayed one night on Sept 2, 2024. We booked the Star room. Rooms aren't numbered, just symbols. It had one king bed with a garden view. Booked through Expedia for $336 all taxes in and included their cold breakfast. Room was very spacious and very clean. Tile floor has in floor heating which you can adjust so no need to worry about chilly feet. When we arrived in our room there was a nice little welcome note with 2 complimentary cookies! Such a nice touch! Most restaurants close around 9pm so we were very happy to see that our room came supplied with cards, crib board, books and a puzzle. How thoughtful! Our room was very new and modern looking. Lots of lights with dimmer switches so you can make the room as bright as you like. Also a full length mirror for getting ready which is always nice. We had a little balcony where we enjoyed eating our breakfast which was included. The bathroom had a wonderful rainfall shower and a handheld shower head. Also there is a rooftop gas fire pit to enjoy and sit around in the evening. You are welcome to bring your own wine or drinks up there. There was even a blanket box stocked with fluffy soft blankets that you could use while sitting by the fire if you feel chilly. Just bring your used blanket back to your room for housekeeping to ensure all blankets in blanket box are clean and unused. The Pluvio team has thought of everything! Beautiful property in a great spot. The rooms are so well decorated and kept in pristine condition.The delicious breakfast, coffee, robes, and quality furnishings made us feel luxurious and comfortable. Amazing restaurant with dishes sure to impress any type of diner. No detail was overlooked and the team is amazing at what they do. This place is a must stay, I highly recommend.

Very nice reception. Love everything prepared in the room. Great gourmet prepared full breakfast every morning. Hotel is right in the middle of this small town, walking distance to everything you keed and places you need to visit. Wish I have time to try out the 5 course dinner.

The room was large, clean, and quiet. The whole atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxing - there was a feeling of luxury without being ostentatious about it. The shower/bathroom area was separate from the sleeping/living area without intruding one one another. The furniture is comfortable and just the right size and amount for the place. The breakfast bento is original and perfectly composed. The whole thing is simple and delightful. I would be over the moon to have a chance to stay there again.

Really nothing. I wish I had had the time for another night or two. I guess the only half-hearted complaint is that my wife could not figure out the shower controllers had a lukewarm shower.

We loved the style and comfort of the room. It was cozy and clean, a pleasure to stay in. The bento box breakfast was a clever and delicious way to serve, and to have this in our fridge when we were ready to eat was lovely. Also loved the daily fresh cookies! I loved sitting on the small deck with a glass of wine and the hummingbirds all around. Truly magical.

Not much, just the loud music coming from next door (which we had been warned about). It was fine as long as windows closed but just weird how long it went on for, even on a Sunday night.

Absolutely perfect location, right in the heart of town and walking distance to everything. Incredibly spacious and comfortable. Everything worked perfectly and they had thought of every detail, from mozzi spray to coffee in the cafetière and beach towels.

Check-in was easy, and there were a couple of delicious homemade cookies waiting for us in the room. The bed was very comfortable, toiletries were nice and breakfast was already in the fridge for the following morning.

The meal in the restaurant was amazing and a unique experience. Room was perfect and included French press coffee and bento box breakfast, heated flooring in the bathroom, comfortable bed and a beautiful view of the garden in the back. Wouldn't change a thing about the place and would stay there again if we are ever back in Ucluelet.

The rooms are beautifully designed and feels like a home away from home. The commute to the most amazing restaurant is ideal with a 1 min walk : )

We would have preferred a more traditional breakfast. I understand that the breakfast they served would be enjoyable to many people and certainly went with the west coast theme of Pluvio.

This fantastic gem offers everything! The room and bathroom are huge and exceptionally clean. The room is well stocked with basic necessities and robes! The breakfast was exceptional and the location offers convenience. Finally have found our go to stay! Thank you for having us :)

The location was a bit noisy with construction. Parking was tight onsite.

The room was wonderful with great decor and layout. The bed was very comfortable, and the chairs were great too.

It took a long time for the hot water to get up to temperature for showers. .

I’ve stayed at Pluvio suites multiple times now, and I can’t say it enough…this place is absolutely wonderful. Selfishly, I want to keep it more of a secret, so it’s not sold out when I need to come to Ucluelet for business. Jokes aside, the rooms as cozy, clean, beautifully decorated, and come with unreal savoury and sweet options for breakfast (not to mention some delicious baked goods and sparkling water, orange juice, and great coffee). Plus, the owners are so lovely, this makes the overall experience 10/10. Highly recommend.

this small resturant/hotel with 4rooms is an absolute gem. the room we had overlooked the garden area with its own balcony the room was superb very modern with a fantastic bathroom superbly comfortable bed, we had dinner in the resturant on our 2nd night (of 2) and wish we had booked the two nights, the food was fantastic. the staff were excellent Ucluelet is a small town on the west of the island but well worth a visit with a lovely harbour area and a superb rainforest boardwalk not far away. would stay here again, this is a superb small hotel with excellent food.

Although I did not get to sample from the restaurant it looks absolutely amazing. My selfish suggestion is that they offer a dinner package for one-night solo business travelers, but otherwise the rooms are large, clean, and well-appointed. Staff is friendly and the surrounding area is beautiful with a few local shops and restaurants within walking distance. Only minor (very minor) complaint is that during restaurant service hours there is a bit of noise from the kitchen out the back, but unless you're going to bed very early and a light sleeper it shouldn't be an issue.

Unfortunately we stayed there the last night they were open before they closed for the season. We wanted to stay another night but they weren’t open. They welcomed our dog, had treats out, a bed for him, a special blanket and dog bowls. It was New Year’s Eve and they even provided a small bottle of champagne, on the house, for the occasion. If you went to a bigger city you’d expect to be easily paying upwards of $450 per night, if you were lucky, I know because I have. If they have a vacancy I’ll absolutely stay the night again.

They didn’t have enough staff to have the restaurant open for our stay. We were very disappointed as we read they have amazing food.
