Staybridge Suites Waterloo - St Jacobs Area by IHG

Excellent service and friendly staff. Place was very clean

very comfortable beds. great breakfast included

Cleanliness and attitude of staff’s

Other customers attitude towards my autistic niece. That was so rude.

De locatie was dichtbij de farmersmarket.

Het ontbijt was matig. En we moesten 2 x vragen om schone handdoeken waren ze vergeten.

Beautiful suites, kitchettes with dishwasher, coffee maker, full sized fridge, etc. Beds and pillows were great! The management went above and beyond to leave a wonderful birthday surprise!

A 6:30am call from Front Desk asking if our smoke alarm had gone off. Apparently a malfunction in the system.

Very clean, quiet and comfortable

The location was surprisingly good; rides to other parts of town were quick but there were interesting things withing walking distance. The room was clean comfortable and pleasant, and the staff were very helpful.

The shower fixtures were due for a little maintenance; they leaked and lacked water pressure as a result. The breakfast lacked both variety and quality, though quantity was not an issue. Nothing which I would consider a dealbreaker.

The rooms were lovely. We really liked the sitting area and the kitchen layout. The gym was fantastic.

Nothing

Beautiful space.

We ended up using the pull out coach that wasn’t comfortable for our nephew since the ac was too close to a bed. It ended up being too costly unfortunately. Especially for a pet.

Staff. Was super friendly and very accommodating location was great and super cleam.

Spacious suite. Free parking. Very cordial staff.

Hot breakfast was a bit sad. Fresh waffles were good. Coffee was meh. Fridge in the room was noisy when compressor ran.

How quiet it was and breakfast was great

Bathroom door kept sticking and couch was a little lumpy

Nice clean room. Location was my favorite thing

The water pressure was low in the shower.

Very nice place. Would stay again.

Nothing

We liked the fact we were able to check in early, there was fresh coffee in the lobby, the room is huge and very clean. The bed is super comfortable.

Nothing to complain about

The room was amazing nice and cozy. Loved that I could cook in my own room and was nice and quiet and room service with extra towels and pillows when u asked 😊 I will stay again

The shower was the only horrible thing water pressure was horrible and I think the pool hours sound be till midnight so adults can also enjoy themselves without all the kids running around.

The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good. The location was excellent.

Easily located, easy to navigate, great room, good A/C, my dogs liked it.

It was good

I don't have any concerns

Breakfast was good - exceeded our expectations

Breakfast was great! There was a wide variety.

The oatmeal was watery. The banana bowl was empty and when I inquired to the staff there she looked at her watch and I thought hmm, maybe close to closing time but in face it was 845 and breakfast was closing at 930am...plenty of time to get some bananas....

Great swimming pool for kids, clean spacious room, nice lobby, good breakfast, restaurants close by.

I was staying at the hotel for one night. After the fast, professional check-in, I went up to the room. The room smelled like a very strong air freshener or perfume. It was so strong that after half an hour in the room, I had a headache and a scratchy throat. I went downstairs and asked to change rooms. The girl at the reception was very kind and agreed to change the room right away. Thank you for that.

The perfume-air freshener smell in the room was too strong. Not very comfortable pillows.

The manager Christine was exceptional. She made our stay amazing. Will stay her for every future trip to Kitchener.

Nothing

The pool area was fun for our daughter who loved it. Good breakfast as well.

We had little ants crawling around the bathroom. That was a bit of a turn off.

Everything

Nothing

Breakfast was very good.

The breakfast was good, lots of variety. The breakfast room area was very comfortable.

Nothing to add.

Beaucoup de choix et OK

Le montant demandé pour l'animal de compagnie (75,00$)

The EV charging stations

Clean and breakfast and near the market

None

The staff was very welcoming, and everything was great

Nothing, everything was great

Low volume and not crowded in December. Complimentary breakfast was surprisingly decent. Free parking out front.

Good selection, clean and staff polite.

Nothing.very enjoyable

Breakfast was excellent. Great location.

I can not think of any now.

Breakfast had a good variety. Just didn't like how it shared a room with the hotel next door.

Kamer was erg groot en het ontbijt was erg goed en uitgebreid

Tv had maar beperkte selectie van kanalen, en een bar in het hotel was wel fijn geweest

I was really not in a position to enjoy anything this trip. I fell ill with food poisoning (not from the hotel) so could not give an honest review.

Fantastic stay. Will definitely be back

Clean, great location, very good breakfast, pet friendly

Sink in bathroom was clogged

Our stay was very pleasant - welcome reception, accommodation, services and breakfast, all excellent.

A great place to stay if you’re going to St Jacob’s. The market is across the street. Loved the separate bedroom! Great staff & very clean!

Great big room, great breakfast

Nothing - all was good

Swimming pool was too cold to use!

Made an error with the booking and immediately called to correct the dates. Basically was told too bad, take it up with Expedia who said take it up with the hotel. Money is the only driver. Forget Albany form of customer service from either party.

Ideal location to St Jacob’s area

Over all was a nice stay

Specifically chose this hotel because I enjoy having a kitchen when I’m travelling for work for an extended period of time. I found all the kitchen utensils and appliances to be quite used and appeared unclean. The staff was very helpful and providing a new coffee pot when I requested as the original one had a significant amount of rust inside the pot. Great location and friendly staff, just needs a little updating

As we walked in the Staybridge Hitel we were met by a young man with a welcoming smile, he was professional and courteous, which for us is the beginning of a great stay! The breakfast buffet had lots to choose from, the scrambled eggs were fluffy and delicious, the bacon and the breakfast sausages was cooked to perfection. We will definitely return to this Staybridge for all our future annual visits to Waterloo!

The room was huge and lovely. There was a kitchenette and living room with a separate bedroom. The fellow who checked us gave me the impression that we were disturbing him. He was far from welcoming and warm for a front desk clerk. The breakfast was adequate for this type of establishment. We were there for 4 nights, a change of breakfast items during this time would have been nice. On our first morning a whole tray of glassware was barely clean and as was much cutlery. Staff didn't seem phased by this. I subsequently used paper glasses in order to ensure cleanliness

Overall the hotel was great. Very clean, modern suite. Excellent location. St. Jacobs Market, St. Jacobs Theater, Restaurant, and Stockyards Craft Brew all within a very short walk. Great for spot for visit.

The breakfast looked great. We only had a coffee and a muffin because we were meeting relatives for breakfast in Waterloo.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Breakfast was fantastic and the workers were extremely helpful

Helpful and professional staff. Impeccably clean. Quiet neighborhood.

Short staffed, we could not use the pool it was so cloudy and there was so much clorein it was burning iur eyes. We had no towels in our room

I just love the green nature of St Jacob’s Farmers Market area and the air quality in this area is amazing. Much better than other parts of ontario

Its location and the fact that it offers breakfast

The staff are very friendly! The room is great! Large windows, bed was relatively comfortable. Over all great place!

very convenient to the market

We had a fantastic stay. Room was upgraded and it was a lovely surprise. The room was beautiful and spacious for our family. The only disappointment was the pool. It was intoxicating with chlorine and could only stay for a short time as it was too much. Overall a great stay though.

Nice stagg and clean room.
