The loft room option was a great, unique experience versus staying in a standard hotel room.
A complimentary breakfast and/or parking would’ve been great additions to my stay.
Great room and facilities
Location was great, staff were welcoming and joyful, room was clean, and price was excellent!
I wanted the bar to be open when we got back from a concert, but no other complaints!
The room was amazing. It was quiet and cozy.
The parking was not good. Very difficult to find a parking spot.
The bed was great
The bathroom door was weird, very hard to open and close. The parking fee of 32.00 is outrageous. We are elderly and felt like that was the only place to park and it was too expensive
Location and charm
Replenishing towels and coffee
The location is great and the building and common areas are lovey due to it being a historic building.
It didn’t feel any more special than staying in a roadside, Holiday Inn, Hyatt, etc. I was expecting a slightly elevated experience, but the room was anything special. The bathroom had stains on the wall. Overall felt dated. I’m glad I purchased when they were running a special and not the regular prices or I would’ve been even more disappointed. I’m glad I’ve stayed there, but I know that it’s not worth it. In the future, I will choose to say at a Hyatt or something that also offers breakfast for the same type of room and the same type of service.
Very clean historical hotel. Beds were super comfortable.
Nothing was a perfect stay with great value.
Beautiful property and clean.
parking was 32$
Excellent atmosphere, food & service at the Magnolia Hotel's Olive & Iras's. My server Sam was the best! Professional yet personable and very accommodating! Appreciate the offered complimentary waters and mints, too!
Nicole was great, food was great
Top Lage TOP Mitarbeiter, extrem bemüht und sehr sympathisch
We hosted a bridal shower at the Magnolia Hotel for our soon to be daughter in-law and what a wonderful experience we had. The event space was very nice and the service we received from Lindsey, Sydney and Cassie was exceptional. We really appreciated everything they did for us, highly recommend the Magnolia for event needs.
Nicole very amiable and professional. Responded well to good natured ribbing.
Sam was awesome, extremely helpful and made our dining experience fantastic!
It was a pleasant surprise. Really beautiful, great location and the staff was really friendly.
Nothing. Loved it all.
Great food and really good cocktails!! Nicole was a wonderful server! Highly recommend
Hotel was centrally located. Clean and very old and beautiful restored. Loved the outdoor patio space in the evening to have a wine and listen to the music playing on the speaker system. Bed was comfy. Shower pressure was ok. Hotel smelt amazing. Nicole - wattress was great.
I stayed overnight at this hotel on my way to Chicago. It's advertised as a 4-star boutique hotel, but there was no valet (it was 100 when I arrived) and I had to self-park in the back. The accessible room I was given was ok, but not up to the standard of other 4-star hotels I've stayed in. I felt like I was paying to stay in an historic building, rather than a luxury hotel. I wouldn't pay more than I would for a room at the Drury Hotel, where I get added benefits for a 3-star stay (extra food & large room with bath).
What a great experience this morning at Olive & Ira’s at the Magnolia Hotel! Monique deserves a big shout of “Job Well Done!” as our receptionist and server for breakfast.
Unfortunately, our stay at the Magnolia Hotel in Omaha was disappointing. We arrived around midnight after a long day of driving and the bathroom in our room did not even look fully ready or properly tidied. The receptionist who checked us in was also not particularly friendly or welcoming, which was not a great first impression that late at night. The much bigger issue happened after we parked directly in front of the hotel. Our tire was deliberately slashed overnight, which appeared to be an obvious act of property crime. As out of town guests, we had no way of knowing whether this was an area where vehicle damage or theft was a concern. I feel the hotel should make guests aware of potential security issues and, if this is a known concern in the area, provide or clearly recommend a more secure parking option. When people are traveling through an unfamiliar city, they rely on the hotel for more than just a room. A clean, ready room, a welcoming arrival and reasonable guidance about where it is safe to leave a vehicle should be basic expectations. Unfortunately, our experience here fell short on all three.
Had a wonderful time at a wedding celebration. Cassie was a wonderful waitress always checking in on our party and the bride. She worked tirelessly and was there consistently with a smile and compliments.
Parking on the street was easy and cost effective. We walked four blocks to Old Market so we were just near enough but away from the noise. The hotel is close to the police headquarters! Good walking distance to Old Market.
Monique at Olive & Ira’s! She makes the best drinks, and has an amazing and fun personality!
Sat belly up at the bar Monique is super friendly and helpful with any questions you have. She made a really good martini in brew & French 75 cocktails! I love her vibe and the/bar here. Super close to the downtown area! We will be back!
Stayed at Magnolia hotel for my friends wedding. We had a great experience! Cassie the banquet manager went above and beyond to help us set up for the wedding even giving us her number to text her with any requests. Brenda the bartender, took care of us all weekend giving us tips everyday of where to go and suggesting great restaurants. Overall, a vety friendly and accommodating staff and my friend had an amazing wedding!
Perfect service and kind professionals
Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Gleich 5 $ Trinkgeld gegeben, obwohl ich keine zwölf Stunden dort war. 🙂
Monique took such great care of us at Olive and Ira’s for breakfast. We had the yogurt bowl and the Magnolia Breakfast (eggs, bacon, biscuit, breakfast potatoes). Missy our cook made our delicious breakfast to get us going for the day.
The hotel is beautiful, nice central location. Just a short walk to great eateries and bars. Just a few blocks from the OmaDih if that's what you're into. The staff are fantastic. Easy going personable. Eager to help. I will definitely be returning when I come back to Omaha.
Located in a great central downtown location close to several Attractions
It’s older so the bathroom doors were creaky and hard to slide open
I ended up with extra time after dropping my kiddo off at college and this was the perfect place to relax after the long drive from Oregon. It was a beautiful and perfect location.
This is a charming older hotel that does not feel old--it feels unique. Convenient enough to the Old Market district and to other Omaha attractions. We really enjoyed our stay! And a shout out to the Front Office Manager Jack Irvin who was one of the friendliest people you will meet!
Kat at the front desk was friendly and very helpful! The hotel is beautiful, clean, centrally located, and the price is very reasonable. Room is spacious and the bed is comfortable.
Nice atmosphere service was adequate
10/10 experience. beautiful rooms, clean and aesthetic. restaurant and bar served yummy food and drinks. the staff is lovely, shout out to Karl at the bar in the morning 😊
My server, Karl, was very kind at attentive. My food was delicious and came out quickly, would come back!
The Magnolia Hotel was recommended by friends who had stayed there several years ago. So, I was eager to try it with my friend who was visiting from out of town. While the hotel is historic, the rooms really need a refresh. There was paint missing on walls and doors, the baseboards were in rough shape, and the tile in the bathroom needs a facelift. A lightbulb was missing in the bathroom and there was no ice bucket. When we asked a housekeeper she just shrugged her shoulders. The customer service was okay and check-in was easy. I was disappointed when we checked out that we weren't asked how our stay was. The night's stay was $173 plus parking so I would look around at other hotels before staying at the Magnolia again.
The proximity to the airport and Old Market...
Nothing comes to mind...
Perfect walking distance to downtown without begin in the heart of the busyness. Complementary milk and cookies at night.
The shower did not drain properly. The towel bar broke the day we were leaving. Looked like it was just pushed back in previously. The down button on level 3 did not work, had to press up in order to get the elevator to come.
Come and eat three times in a row. The taste is very delicious, the various ingredients are very well handled, the service is warm, and it is physically and mentally pleasing.
Sam’s service as waiter at the restaurant, Olive and Ira’s, was exceptional! Go to the restaurant and ask for him; you will be glad you did!
Excellent. Breakfast was fast and coffee very good! Service was prompt and attentive. Would highly recommend!
The hotel had so much more character than many out there! It was a classy feel walking in.
The shower curtain was so short and light it blew into the shower stall. The toilet was a pain to flush.
Location and the historic feel of the building, room was very nice and bed was comfortable.
Parking was limited on the street, pricey on the property.
In recently stayed at the Magnolia hotel in Omaha. Wanted to leave a quick note about the restaurant. Service fast and friendly—the food was outstanding…thank you Carl and Lisa.
Monique was amazing. She absolutely catered to our every need. Was very responsive and checked on us quite often. Missy the cook prepared us a very great meal. One that you would get at a higher end restaurant. Great place to stay and eat.
We had breakfast Friday morning, Monique was so friendly and helped us get what we needed. Thank you! Our food was amazing and filled us up! Thanks Missy!!!!
My wife, daughter, and my daughter’s mother-in-law had brunch at Magnolia’s restaurant on July 4th prior to going to see Wicked. The experience was fantastic. The employees were polite and friendly. Our meals exceeded our expectations with the eggs Benedict which I ordered was the best I have ever eaten. Can’t wait to go back.
What a fabulous experience. Alyssa and Brenda were amazing! I sat at the bar and chatted with Brenda and she was awesome. Great customer service and very pleasant! I will definitely be coming back
Loved the older building style.
Charging guests for parking on the lot behind the hotel seemed like an unnecessary up charge. We did not like that at all. Restaurant off of lobby (which hotel may not have any control over) was sorely understaffed and service slow and generally poor.
Room service and breakfast was great! Monique was a great server! Thank you
Our waitress , Monique was very nice making sure we were all good! Checking on our drinks. Our food was very good the cook was very talented. Very good would come again!
My sister and I ate at Olive & Ira’s and from beginning to end everything was fantastic. Monique provided attentive service, we wanted for nothing. Kim the cook made a fantastic meal. Worth a stop for breakfast or lunch
This was such a cute brunch spot! Monique was super sweet and very on top of everything. The food was great thanks to Chef Missy. Definitely would come back!
Had breakfast in the hotel’s restaurant, Olive and Ira’s. Fantastic food and great service from Monique and the chef, Missy.
Good food, with plenty of options at fair prices, and great service! Our server, Nicole, was super pleasant and helpful!
Monique at the Magnolia Hotel restaurant was fantastic! Affordable, filling breakfast options!
Me and my significant other came to visit for our mini Vacation and had a great time especially with our server Monique and her expertise and knowledge of the Restaurant, it was truly an amazing experience and will come again next time I’m close by
Olive & Ira's, Monique was great. She was very pleasant and efficient.
Monique and Martin were great tonight. Great service and food. I’ll be back for sure.
From start to finish everything was amazing! Izzy at the front desk was beyond accommodating and even went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. Then Sam at Olive & Ira’s was wonderfully attentive and gave amazing service! 10/10 if you’re coming through the Omaha area!
Had dinner at the restaurant prior to going to the Orpheum theater. Monique was our server. She was excellent. Very attentive and personable.
We had a wonderful dinner before a broadway show!! The food was wonderful and Sam was perfection! Highly recommend!
Excellent food and service. A beautiful place to go before a show!
In town for the CWS. Great service! Warm and friendly. We 🩷 Omaha!
Breakfast was awesome (Thanks Missy!) and the service was friendly and prompt (Thanks Monique!) would definitely come back.
The atmosphere is awesome and the service was great. Monique and Missy were amazing.
Monique and Missy were great!
Monique was very kind and recommend lots of good options. She checked on our table often and was patient while we figured out what to order!
I had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the overall experience. The location was excellent, and what stood out most was the atmosphere and sense of history throughout the property. I felt like I was part of the town’s story rather than just a visitor, which made the stay feel authentic and memorable. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean and well maintained, and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. I also enjoyed spending time at Olive & Ira's. The food and drinks were very good, and the staff were kind and attentive. Overall, it was the combination of the great location, wonderful staff, comfortable accommodations, and unique atmosphere that made this such an enjoyable stay. I would gladly return and recommend it to others.
The elevators felt quite slow, especially during busy periods. I also found it inconvenient that the bar was closed from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Also, bar service was occasionally slower than expected, although it was College World Series weekend, so I understand the staff were likely dealing with unusually high demand. I would also have appreciated a larger ironing board in the room. None of these issues significantly affected my stay, but they are areas where the experience could be improved.
Room was large, and clean. Front desk person was very nice and helpful. Bar downstairs was nice and served us even though it was real close to closing.
Nothing
We had lunch at Olive and Ira’s. Monique was great!!!
Wonderful food and Monique was a great server!
The staff was friendly and helpful. Beds are wonderful and the location was perfect for the College World Series.
We have stayed here for the CWS for 18 years and we can see that the hotel is aging. There is little to no water pressure in the shower. The windows are filthy. Most of the trim needs paint. I expected more for the rate charged. We will try another place next year.
Olives & Ira’s was fantastic! Our server Monique was incredibly friendly and provided top notch second! Will definitely be back.
Food was delicious. Service very well
Great food and service. Our Waitress Monique was very attentive and super sweet!
The style
Nothing all was good
The hotel seems seriously understaffed. And many of the other staff members seemed tired, verging on surly, from overwork possibly. We experienced this throughout. On my other trips... the restaurant/lounge was always open and serving... and welcoming. Now all of that is underutilised, locked off much of the time. My sister and I were amazed it wasn't buzzing as it had been on past trips. I do understand the airport shuttle discontinuation... fuel challenges .... but that was definitely a huge perk in the past. Anyway, the room was really nice, GREAT shower. If the current guests are happy with everything, that's good. But knowing how wonderful it USED to be, made it harder for me to swallow the $800 for two nights here. (College World Series boosted the room rates) I have family here and will most likely be back in Omaha, but not sure I'll return to Magnolia. Sad.
Love her. She took great care of us.
Very attentive great food Monique and missy were great
Close to old town Omaha. Secure private parking lot.
Main reason I booked hotel was for secure parking, as i travel with lots of valuables for business, and bikes on rack. Reservation said $38 night valet parking. On arrival was told Valet parking was eliminated & was now self park, still $38. Secure lot is not indoors but gated area outdoors in urban neighborhood, with signage warning to take all valuables out of car & that hotel assumed no risk. I had to move all my valuables and bikes to our hotel room. No bell service helping. Hotel price was high-$200/night- for what I got in return.
This hotel is a wedding venue. We stayed 3 nights and both Friday and Saturday night there were weddings and the party music lasts until 11PM. Then you have drunk wedding attendees in the halls until all hours. Front desk was not helpful.
Great old hotel that is more than reasonably priced. Overnight street parking is free until 9am then a dollar an hour. No pet fee! A perfect stopover for the night with the kids and dog.
Getting close to time for a renovation, but everything worked fine for an antique hotel.
The staff was fantastic. Room service, restaurant and front desk were exceptional.
We stayed in a queen loft. We chose the room because of the pictures. Very misleading. Kitchen was updated and nice. The rest of the room needed completely gutted. Hallways and room didn't smell good at all. All the carpets need replaced everywhere. For the price we payed, we could have stayed in a much more updated hotel
I’ve been here several times and it’s always the best stay Rooms are beautiful and cozy
Solid food, Monique’s a great waitress!
The fan in our room was making a constant noise.
Love this place. Great for dog parents on the road. Cozy rooms and nice views of the city. Great location for exploring downtown. Had parking at the lot. Need to pay hut better than other parking lots. Would highly recommend. The nightly cookies were so yummy. Thanks for a great stay and allowing dogs stay free. Great perk.
Traveling via motorcycle from Charleston, SC to the Badlands of SD. Cassie, Warren and Nicole made our trip. We had the pleasure of making their acquaintance at the Olive & Ira’s bar during our one night stay. Great conversation and genuine friendliness made the evening special. They made our night in Omaha special. Forever grateful.
The staff at the hotel was responsive to our needs. The restaurant, Olive and Ira’s, was delicious. Sam, the waiter, did an outstanding job.
Loved it! My waiter Sam was incredibly attentive and gave excellent recommendations. The food and the service were impeccable! I will definitely eat here again the next time I’m in town. Thank you Sam for your wonderful hospitality!
The food at Olive and Ira's was excellent. The price point was great even for a hotel. Monique was an outstanding server and Missy the chef has MAD skills
I liked the historic atmosphere of the hotel. The room was decorated nicely and had a welcoming feeling.
The noise from the street...I would stay here again and would ask for a room on the courtyard.
they make u feel like your at home and staff goes out of their way to give u there 200%
that I couldn't stay longer!!
Monique was helpful. Room was great. Bed was comfy. Decor was lovely.
We had our work conference here in April. Our room was clean except for the dusty light fixture, food left in fridge and poor water pressure. I would take caution in planning future events here. We did not see our event planner nor did that department ever check in on us once we finalize things the weekend before and had arrived. The finalized information must not have been passed on to those that were assisting us and they were constantly trying to make up for a lack of communication. At the end of the day, I am grateful for Cassie and Robert who truly went above and beyond to make sure that things were corrected. Thank you for your extra effort!
Great stay at this hotel! Very beautiful property and rooms. In house restraunt Olive and Ira’s was fantastic and our server Sam was great!
The atom sphere was amazing! Monique truly made us feel welcomed and made sure we were good! check in and check out!!
