DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Lexington

Everything was great.

I liked how big and clean and comfortable the room was. And the large shower was also nice. I also liked the friendliness of the staff.

I was disappointed that the Peloton bike in the fitness room did not hook up to the internet. I was told that the hotel had stopped paying the licensing fee for the Peloton service. That's too bad. Also, one of the two treadmills did not work properly and was potentially dangerous. The other treadmill worked fine.

Comfort and cleanliness of the room; staff were very friendly and efficient.

The staff is terrible

Staff is terrible and facilities are inaccurate

room was large

limited breakfast choice

The breakfast was pretty good. Hot items as well as cold on the buffet and service for drinks or Ala cart items.

The staff was very nice. The building is beautiful.

We checked in late and went to our room. It hadn’t been cleaned. The bed was unmade, trash hadn’t been emptied and there were old keys on the console. We went back down stairs and the night manager said he would go up and clean it up. I guess he took the comforter and sheets off and replaced the fitted sheet but nothing else so there were no covers on the bed. I had to pull a scratch spare blanket out of the closet to try to sleep with that. The toilet was broken and the room smelled like sulfur. He said there were no other rooms available, and it was so late and we had to leave early so we got the sleep we could and left, but I felt sick and we couldn’t even use the bathroom.

The hotel was beautifully renovated, clean, and well staffed. Good value overall.

After a nation wide computer outage effecting Hilton properties my arrival your staff did a good job attending to our needs. I give your staff a 2 thumbs up on their professionalism regarding an impossible situation!

The second TV in our suite would not turn on. Suite 313

It was such a wonderful place filled with such wonderful people everywhere. From staff to tenants, everyone was so polite and hospitable. Even when we woke up to a flat tire. My back passenger tire had been punctured by a screw. Almost every person who didn't see us denying help stopped and offered assistance with putting on my spare. Just so happened, I had a spare tire this time, but it feels good to know I was around good people who were willing to help if necessary. Great place to stay!!! P.s... ask for their cookies!!YUMMY!

Short staff, couldn't getting our extra bedding for over an hour after bedtime hours for our kids bc of the short staff so we were waiting extra long. We were out of shampoo, conditioner and soap in our shower and there was dirty cheese power on our faucet.

It is well kept, the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and there were plenty of towels, shampoo, body wash etc. The cookies are definitely a nice touch.

I my gps routed me to the rear of the building for some reason and the gate was locked. I had to call to get a code to enter.

The location, and it was beautiful

Paying for parking when the room is already so expensive is crazy. Also the air didn’t work in our room and for 200$ a night almost you think it would.

The location is great. The art work was a pleasant surprise.

The water pressure was just horrible and the toilet was loose from the ground. Also the bed wasn’t very comfortable. So more other little things not really worth mentioning.

Beautiful, unique hotel. Friendly staff, nice atrium bar/restaurant with good cocktail menu.

Beds were amazing Hotel is very unique with French style

Location was a little congested area Didn't offer omelets like advertised and we had pre-paid for breakfast. Buffet was less than a free breakfast at other hotels.

Clean friendly and good value

I was here for business amd Devance was fantastic, helping with early check in, changing billing, and was overall pleasant to work with.

The hotel was super comfy with exceptional space , nice done wash rooms and very comfortable beds , the breakfast was nice but the chef and the staff at Resturant were great , I really enjoyed the cheese omelette, it was perfectly done , thoroughly enjoyed my stay

Love the new renovation and staff.

great location, a lot of restaurants and stores nearby, facilities clean and organized, free parking space and very nice staff.

Wonderful, nice, clean hotel!! Friendly staff!! Recommend this hotel!!

As a Lifetime Diamond Member I can say this was one of the best properties we have stayed at. Friendly and professional staff. Excellent facilities. No issues.

We stopped for one night on way to NC. The hotel was quiet, clean and staff was friendly. The room was spacious and quiet. Air conditioner a little loud when clicking on, but didn’t bother me too much and I have misophonia, causing extreme annoyance from sounds. Loved that the air conditioning kept room very cool. ASI had ceiling fan in other section of room. I would definitely say here again.

Nice clean hotel. Kind of hard to find, aways off highway. Outdoor pool in back. Several floors, we had outside view. Interior view is of Atrium. Hotel suite was clean. Our room A/C was located next to the head of left side of King size bed. Vert loud. Stayed on Monday night, place was empty. The restaurant is large, on the first floor of Atrium, next to the bar area. All with a nice view of the the Atrium looking up. Would stay again.

Obviously the cookies! Plus the room was quiet and clean.

The bartender did not appear to be friendly, as well as the gentleman at the front desk.

Fast, friendly and quiet. The warm chocolate chip cookies are amazing btw!

This hotel checked all the boxes. We had a great stay! We are very picky and my wife said this hotel was perfect! if we are ever back in Lexington, this hotel will be out first choice.

Room was great, front desk lady was exceptional, buffet breakfast was underwhelming.

Nice large room and super friendly staff.

I have stayed at this property approx. 10 times in the last 3 years and it never disappoints. Hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff is always accommodating. Excellent location right off the highway and convenient to downtown Lexington. Highly recommend.

Check in was smooth and I came back because of the location and the hospitality. The rooms were clean and comfortable and it was quiet. I am a light sleeper and managed 8 hours of sleep with a room facing the courtyard. I also took advantage of my AAA discount. It's a great place to stop when your on the road.

We stayed here for 4 days to attend a graduation celebration. The hotel location was perfect. The staff was lovely from check in to check out. The rooms were large and comfortable. The beds were firm and we slept well. Everything was immaculate and the housekeeping staff was excellent. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Lexington.

Convenience, cleanliness and friendly staff

Paying for parking

Location. Close to family

Little more then I would like to pay. I’m not complaining

Like service and very professional and prompt.

I would have liked more variety at breakfast, more fruit, cheese and ham perhaps.

I was quite and peaceful. Pleasant atmosphere

There were ants in my room and I believe I was charged for breakfast when it was Included in my plan. The price was hiked because of the race, I wasn't happy about that.

Very spacious, larger than average room sizes compared to other hotels in my opinion. Enjoyed my stay.

I couldn’t have asked for a more helpful and professional staff

It was clean and had comfortable mattresses.

The sofa was hard and uncomfortable. When the heater kicked on it was so loud it woke us up every time.

From the very beginning, working with Denise and the hotel staff to secure a block of rooms was a seamless and pleasant experience. The atmosphere of the hotel is absolutely wonderful, lots of places to relax and enjoy the atmosphere in the lobby and the complimentary coffee was greatly appreciated. Check-in with Cheryl was fantastic—she was welcoming, professional, and made everything easy. The rooms were very comfortable, spacious, and extremely clean. The location was also perfect and conveniently close to everything we wanted to do. Overall, this was a great experience from start to finish, and I would happily stay here again and recommend it to others.

Location was great! The atmosphere was definitely Kentucky-inspired, and I loved that! The rooms were spacious and clean. The value was incredible. I was worried about having an interior room, but the noise level was minimal. Margot was wonderful at the front desk when I needed assistance. COOP IS THE BEST! He made our stay the best! He needs a raise and a free vacation! We loved his service and attitude, and he made us feel at home while away.

It was close to restaurants and clean and the bed was comfortable.

$15 to park

Location was great, in the middle of everything we needed

The bed was awful, it was like sleeping on a box spring, as if we were sleeping on the floor… we went to the living room and slept on the let out bed… for the amount of money that we paid the beds should be comfortable… also the air conditioner unit sound like a car with no muffler every time it came on it woke us up out of our sleep. This hotel was to nice to have issues like this, the staff was awesome and atmosphere was amazing.

The bathroom was amazing!

The toilet keep getting lose but its okay.

Employees were friendly, room was clean, great stay

Clean

Ice machine not working the 2nd double tree we stayed at and no ice machine and paying for parking ridiculous

We stayed at the DoubleTree Suites in Lexington and it was fabulous! We are ALWAYS impressed in just how clean and immaculate, not only the rooms are, but the hallways and lobbys as well! The staff is always so friendly and kind! And the WARM COOKIES!! YUM!!! What a wonderful touch!

Luxurious, clean and cozy.

We loved everything

Clean and nice rooms with plenty of space. The warm chocolate chip cookies at check in were great!

My wife and I were very pleased with everything

Nice clean and updated

They charged us an additional fee for parking and incidentals which was not included in the total price given from Booking.com. They are non-refundable and we could not check in without paying them

NO MICROWAVE. I ordered wings from restaurant and was not able to warm up food.

Everything was perfect!

Unique architecture, very nice. Late night staff was wonderful.

Great rooms. Beautiful building. Nice admin.

The food at the restraunt there was amazing!!!!!! Coop was an awesome bartender!!!!

It was all good!

Awful

They didn’t give me the room I reserved. The tvs didn’t work. I had to pay for parking. I was given a different room but had to pay for a bigger room.

Should start at 6am

Food options.

It was very nice!!

Toilet paper holder was broken.

That the shuttle did not run until 0900.

Staff is always very pleasant.

I want to stay somewhere other than the 5th floor next time.

Clean quiet and very nice people

Location was great, right near great restaurants and easy on off of the highway! RO the bartender was excellent! Great staff all around and bourbon selection?

The atrium was very nice. The food was excellent. Every staff member that we interacted with was very pleasant and friendly. Our room was very clean and spacious.

I have nothing negative to say.

Clean, spacious, front desk staff was excellent!

Wonderful hotel to host business meetings, seminars, and dinners. Staff is amazing to work with, facilities are recently upgraded and lovely. The food is top notch. Highly recommend!

We had a few days off so we stayed here a second time to continue the Bourbon Trail. (See separate reviews) The Doubletree brand is one of our favorite Hiltons (Honors Gold) and this one is unique. The French Quarter decor is charming & we love staying in the rooms with the indoor balcony overlooking the atrium. The Atrium Bar is well staffed with creative drinks. We enjoyed breakfast in their restaurant the 3 mornings & the servers were friendly & efficient. The front desk also has very personable, efficient staff! Housekeeping was thorough & our room well stocked. We had one minor issue with an air freshener & GM Michael graciously made it right without asking. After talking with him for a while, it’s clear his management style makes the difference in this fine hotel. All staff seem happy, which typically means they’re treated well by management. Very refreshing to experience! Thank you Michael Curd & team for another great stay. It’s a pleasure to be in your fun hotel & we’ll definitely return.
