Noise disturbance in the middle of the night. Someone yelling and pounding on a door at 1:30 am.

Location was good for the venue I was attending. Restaurant staff were very friendly and attentive! Front desk staff were polite and sympathetic!

The hotel is poorly maintained and public facilities like the elevators and floors we not clean. Elevators had not been cleaned in quite some time. Toilet seat in my room was clearly broken. Would have been nice if cleaning staff reported it, but there was no report! Was not repaired after 2 days!

I did not request free parking. It said it had free parking.

Carpeting throughout the building was not clean and stained everywhere. There was mould in the shower. We had to change rooms because our tv didn't work.

Rien de bon, il suffit de regarder à travers les fenêtres pour assister à une terrible sene de misère et des cas horribles des itinérants. Un camp des itinérant juste en face. Sans parler de la saleté de la chambre. La poussière est partout. La moisissure et la fumée des cigarettes est intense. À 2h00 du matin, une femme droguée ou sous les effets de l'alcool, créait, frappait les portes, nous n'avons pu dormir.

Rien à apprécier dans cet hôtel.

The bathroom door is always getting stuck. The carpets are old and smelly. They needed a higher deposit on a physical card in this digital age where most people pay with their phones! Quite an outdated hotel! I won't be staying there again!

The odour of old urine in the bathroom. The area is somewhat sketchy. A noticeable number of homeless and drug related activity. My husband was approached by such a person in your parking lot. So not as safe.

The location and neighbourhood did not seem safe, with many strange people in the vicinity of the hotel, and the room was not clean; a dead insect was found on the bed, and a dirty armchair with a stain on it!

There was no microwave in the room. The resteraunt wasn't open on Sundays.

Key cards didn't work. Front desk had to open door each time with master card. TV would not turn on. Asked for a discount but expect nobody will care.

It was decent value for Sudbury. The place seems safe and in the downtown region. The parking was convenient. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom towels were very clean and fluffy.

Little things. The hallways needed a better vacuuming. I couldn’t get the television to turn on properly. The framing of the bathroom door had not been properly painted. The bar refrigerator was leaking water.

The room was clean and the breakfast was excellent and good value.

The front lobby could be cleaner and bottled water in the room would be appreciated.

Alles andere war schlecht. Gegenüber ist ein Zeltlager von Obdachlosen. Nicht umsonst weisen alle 3 Meter auf dem Parkplatz Schilder darauf hin, dass man dort auf eigene Gefahr parkt. Das Hotel ist komplett verdreckt. Das Bad ist eine Katastrophe. Die Klimaanlage ist laut. Im Flur riecht es schrecklich. Nie wieder!

The breakfast was very good. There was only one girl taking care of the whole restaurant, and she did a great job, was very pleasant, and kept a smile on her face the whole time.

The hotel needs to be redone. There was a cracked window in our room, mold on the shower grab handles. Looking out our window, we saw a tent city just beyond the hotel parking lot, with people on drugs wondering around. We got a call that my husbands father had a heart attack, and we needed to go home right away. The manager would not even consider giving us a refund for our second night we had booked, because their policy is 24 hour notice for cancelation. How is that even possible under these circumstances. We will never stay there again!

I did not eat at the hotel. The location was alright, but the neighborhood is sketchy. If I was to go for a walk in the area I would not go alone therefore I did not explore the area.

There was a very strong odor in the entrance area, it may have been from the pool or some type of cleaning product that is used. The elevators were dirty, and the carpets in all public area were in need of cleaning. Public areas were tired looking. The room was alright, there were a lot of towels and the space was clean and did not smell.

We left and i felt we had no choice. The room was used, there was a wet dirty, HAIRY face cloth on the tub edge, open wet hotel soap and the wrapper right on the sink, garbage in the can and one bed looked used. The hotel staff refused to clean it, or change our room so we left. Outside picture is actually the open used soap and wrapper found on the bathroom vanity. I should be refunded my charges for this room in full

The room was clean and well stocked of towels. There is a fridge, microwave and coffee maker Which made the stay more comfortable. Gym and the swimming pool are good. Also close to sci nice north and dynamic earth. Also close to grocery stores if you need to buy some stuff. Staff on the front desk were friendly. Check in and check out was fast and easy.

Only thing I don't like was the Ac unit that was noisy so sleeping at night was little tuff but got used to it the next day. Kids have not complained. Alsoy door card didn't work for the gym door so had to visit the desk coue of time to make it work.

The room was clean with very comfortable beds. The restaurant in the hotel Hardrock 42 serves great food!

The hotel is right downtown and unfortunately there is a huge tent city with homeless you see from your room if overlooking the parking lot. There was some homeless in the hotel parking lot as well, one actively injecting on the front steps of hotel.

Was easy to find and the staff was very helpful and pleasant

The tent city outside the location made the stay a bit less comfortable, as if made us more nervous about issues of security. The rooms were not made up between the two nights we stayed, which was a surprise. The restaurant in the hotel was also closed on one of the mornings we were there, so we had to seek breakfast options off site.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean. And the price was reasonable. I would recommend this place to stay.

I choose the hotel to enjoy the pool but was almost all time closed. They don t care.

Ayesha was really friendly made the checking in and the stay really comfortable . I want to appreciate her. The location is probably not the best but it easily accessible with amenities nearby. The stay was comfortable

Room was comfortable clean and bright. Staff were helpful and welcoming, beds were comfortable. Dogs were welcomed.

Area of building felt a little unsafe walking my dogs alone. Several times I had people come up to me asking me for money or things while outside.

Receptionist girls were really nice. I didn’t have to wait long for check-in..

This was our second stay at the Clarion. I love the value, the central location, the pool, the staff, & the comfy beds. The restaurant in the hotel is great to have as well.

I had booked 2 rooms with 3 people in each room. We only had 2 sets of towels in each room & housekeeping did not come by to replenish the second day, even though we didn't leave a DND marker. Otherwise, everything else was good!

Breakfast was good , however very slow in serving ordered a second cup of coffee, it never came. Server was more interested in talking about her past with another customer.

Hallway were very dirty leading up to our room. Windows were dirty both inside and out. Poor lighting. Beds were not made on our second night of stay. Key cards kept deactivating this was no holiday!!!

No breakfast as advertised. Pool very small. Biggest issue though is the location and safety of the neighbourhood. Unfortunately, the hotel faces a tent city where crime and drug trafficking is an issue.

Liked the service and the pool.

I didn't like the area if you have to travel with exposed luggage. They even say park at your own risk. I have never seen that before. So it threw me off and put me on my guard for my belongings as we were traveling through town on the way home and needed a place to stay for the night.

Water pressure was non existent, toilet was broken and wouldn't flush. All kinds of displaced people roaming the outside area. Pool had chunks of hair and dirty bandaid floating.

The staff showed compassion and was very friendly. They understood our situation and worked with us to ensure our stay was pleasant.

We were overall pleased. Nothing you can do for the outside.

Older hotel but room was renovated. Clean. Not far from the city center. Pub downstairs serves decent, albeit basic food. Staff went above and beyond to help me recover a lost item of mine.

From the windows you can see a homeless encampment. Not much the hotel can do about that. It’s not too close. Just be grateful you are not having to live in a tent

Door to room was very hard to open. Key card worked but Door handle and frame was jammed. Also mini fridge is small and shouldn't be on the ground. Get a small end table or a wood frame and elevate it. Make it user friendly. Seniors have a HARD time with reaching down to the floor.

The staff were very helpful and prompt. Alyssa and Ken gave great suggestions of things to do in the area and took care of any concerns we had. The location was close to our activities....room was clean...beds were soooo comfortable that we slept in twice..lol...

Only thing missing was a microwave. Everything was awesome

The front entrance should be open wide and more lights.

I liked that they had cameras and were monitoring everything because they do have an encampment not far from the hotel and I was concerned about my vehicle being broken into, but I was assured my vehicle would be safe. The bed was comfortable and the second room we were assigned after the first one we complained about was clean.

When we arrived we were given the keys to a room that once we went in had never been cleaned prior to the other person(s). So we let front desk know and they immediately gave us a key to another room. Other than that, the stay was comfortable.

Location was not ideal. Didn't feel safe leaving car unattended however parking lot well lit at night and is monitored.

I was there for 4 nights and 4 days. My room was only cleaned on day 3 and at that they picked up 2 days worth of dirty towels but left 1 day of dirty towels. $680. No continental breakfast. Shelving in bathroom made sitting on the toilet uncomfortable, if you sat back you epuld make contact with the shelving. Cosmetically, the bathroom was looked like it was cut with an exacto knife in several places. Paint visibly peeling on the bathroom ceiling. My room had no phone. The ice machine on the 3rd floor was out of service the entire week. Bedding was only changed on the 3rd day. Not that it needed to be. Bar fridge incredibly small and periodically froze anything I put in it.

Not that we didn't like but concerned, the shower tray sides are shallow and water leaked out on the floor, pretty bad, over time the walls etc will be damaged and mold

It was central to the activities we were there for.

Double booked and paid twice though app. Still haven't rectified the two billings even though the girl at front desk acknowledged it.

Location is rough. Homeless people hovering outside the front door at night. Although beds were comfy, the mattress cover had stains and Because there was reviews of past bed bugs i lifted the mattress and found a blood stain. Dark and did not look like its been cleaned at all. Room 605 first bed coming in.

Property manager is wonderful.. it is right in the middle of town and convenient to food and shopping

There is a large homeless encampment near the rear of the property.. separated by a chain link fence.. quite a bit of foot traffic through the parking lot… had an upper floor room that overlooks the parking lot and management has installed huge floodlights that light it up very well. The king size mattress was ready to be replaced as it had a large dip in the middle

Staff not very friendly or polite. No water in the rooms, not very clean, hairs in bathroom, mold stains in bathroom, bed slightly lumpy. Definitely not 4 star.

L’hôtel est directement à côté d’un campement de sans abri! On dirais que les ascenseurs allais lâcher quand on été dedans ! Énorme odeur de cigarette dans la chambre et grosse tache de sang sur le tapis dans la chambre. La nuit ses les gens dans la rue sur la drogue il n’y a que sa !
