Friendly staff, clean rooms, TH kurig coffee cups in the room, little gift bag, the restaurant is great, everything was perfect. I travel alone and will be returning 100%

Breakfast was ok. Beggers can't be choosers. But that's the only weak point of the stay.

We were very pleased with the attentiveness of the staff when we had difficulty with the TV remote. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The bed was comfortable.

The location is good, the room was well-maintained, and the housekeeping services were efficient. Furthermore, the staff provided friendly and professional assistance. Upon check-in, we received a welcome package containing two water bottles and two mini chocolates, which suggests our reservation was recorded for two guests despite our booking for four.

I reserved a room for four guests, consisting of one adult and three children. Upon arrival, reception informed me that the room capacity is limited to two people; although two additional towels were provided for the first night, these were not replenished for the remainder of my stay. The platform should give detailed information to the host and guest should be facilitated accordingly. The ice dispenser on the first floor was broken, so I had to bring ice from the ground floor. Regarding the breakfast service, I recommend expanding the current selection to enhance guest satisfaction. It is advisable to designate staff to monitor inventory levels consistently. Furthermore, stricter oversight is required to mitigate the risk of cross-contamination, particularly concerning shared serving utensils. While guests should be encouraged to exercise caution, implementing more rigorous staff supervision is essential to ensure food safety standards are maintained.

The positives The staff and facilities were great . Excellent dinner and breakfast . Negatives you need more than one person on reception at busy times.there was space for two. The poor lad did a great job but was also having to answer the phone as well. Annoying as i waited 30 minutes to check in . The same applied to the rest aurant in the evening . An excellent lady was having to run the bar and see to diners and it was very busy. A bit of management required

Hotel and room was very clean. Staff were very polite and attentive.

Food at buffet was very cold and potato tots were not cooked enuff. Breakfast was not very good due to not properly being cooked. Hotel is in a rough part of town. Lots of homeless people.

The hotel itself and staff were great. Everyone was friendly and it had everything a standard hotel should have. Breakfast was decent. Location is alright. You need a vehicle which I'm sure you'd realize since you are going to Sudbury.

The Wi-Fi. Wyndham corporation charges for the Wi-Fi and you can get a free one by giving them your information to sign up as a member. It is terrible wi-fi. If you need the internet for anything I suggest looking elsewhere. At times I couldn't even load simple websites. Hotel also has the standard Canadian hotel problem where you can hear everything outside in the hallway. The only reason I'd look at other hotels if returning to Sudbury is the weird wi-fi rules.

There was a dog barking into the night disturbing. Most annoying and a girl room is no place for a dog.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. We had a couple of minor issues, but they made our stay pleasant.

Room had some recent renovation leaving a slight odor. Our TV would not turn on unless you unplug and plug back in. It then randomly turns off on its own. We declined the offer to move but appreciated the gesture. They still compensated us for the trouble.

This was exactly what we expected for a days inn. Nothing specstular nothing terrible. All good. Thank you.

Lovely spacious room, very comfortable beds. Full hot breakfast choices ( but although there was ample supply of food, the bacon and eggs were rather cold).

Having to pay for wifi unless you went through a cumbersome process to become a Wyndham member. Even then, you supposedly could connect 5 devices but didn't work. Needed the receptionist to give us an access code instead.

Room was clean and comfortable, and we got our extras we asked for. Breakfast was good but could be a bit better. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Large clean room with lots of table space. Excellent staff and a great eat-restaurant. Breakfast was free & better than other hotels we’ve stayed in. They even gave us a goodie bag with 2 bottled waters, 2 mini chocolate bars, a pack of microwave popcorn & a soft cookie.

We didn’t have the strongest internet signal when trying to stream on their tv, but that was just a small issue for us.

The room was very nicely redone and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very good.

Included breakfast was convenient, hot and good. The hotel was clean, but a bit worn down. However, the room (215) had clearly been updated at some point. The TV was a smart TV, which was nice, and a nice, big size. The staff were very friendly, attentive and efficient!!

Need a place to hang towels in the bathroom. The tub had a couple of dings in the enamel. The sink did not drain properly; it drained very slowly and clearly needs the drain cleaned. The bar fridge needs to be raised a centimeter so that the door doesn't drag on the carpet

Breakfast was good . Lots of options . It’s just a suggestion to please buy a new toaster because it was not working well.

The complimentary snack bag at check-in was very thoughtful after a long drive, the bed was comfortable, the room had a microwave, fridge and was spacious, the breakfast on site was convenient, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Decent sized room with 2 queen beds, large TV with good choice and good coffee maker. Separate walk in shower. Waffle maker at breakfast, with good buffet selection. Possible to walk into town for restaurants (15 minutes, crossing main road outside).

Fitness room did not appeal - limited equipment and ventilation. Parking access to rear of hotel useful for unloading car, but it's not been resurfaced for some time. TV has separate cable box - no instructions as to how to set it up. Had to involve reception. No safe in room.

We were only in Sudbury for a night. The price was great. The bed is an 8/10, so pretty comfy. I liked that there was plug in for my car right outside the door. That being said, I am disabled and would appreciate one in the disabled spot. Thanks.

Cleanliness was good, room was comfortable, breakfast needs more attention.

Just breakfast needed additional items and the eggs required more attention to the delivery. It was scrambled but it appeared more minced. Taste was okay just the presentation of the eggs were a bit unappealing.

Helpful friendly staff, upgraded comfortable rooms, clean, quiet hotel, restaurant, bar, continental breakfast on site was very convenient.

The beds were comfortable, everything was very clean, the staff were very kind and helpful, and the complimentary snack bag at check in was a thoughtful touch, especially after a long day of travel!

The beds were comfortable,the room quite spacious and we were very comfortable. The shower was strong and plenty of water. Very relaxing. Parking was perfect, lots of spaces to choose from. The little gift bag, included water, microwave popcorn, cookies and a yogurt bar. It was a pleasant surprise!

We were not told that hockey teams were going to be staying there. The young people were not supervised and were running up and down the hallway and slamming doors way past 11:30pm at night. We sent a text to the front desk complaining and got no reply. We had a sleepless night and because of all the ruckus, missed the complimentary breakfast. We were not happy. When checking out, we complained to the person on the desk and were told, sorry about that. No compensation. I am sure the hockey teams rooms were given at a much lower price that we had and feel cheated!

Room was very cold on arrival, the heater wasn’t on (23 Jan) There had been renovations done in that room that was barely patched up. We were 4 occupants in the room (2adults and 2 children) we had two towels. We asked to have two extra and they took back our old ones but didnt leave us with 4towels. Breakfast was decent but we had to ask for plates and utensils and on the second day they ran out of coffee.

Let me start by sharing the young lady at front desk was very friendly and accommodating. The care package was an added feature. My request for a ground room floor was accommodated 2nd to last room (104) in hall…long way from breakfast. I am a senior and would have appreciated this being acknowledged and perhaps option for closer placement to facilities. The room appears to have been recently painted as evidence of paint splatters on lamps, carpet etc. the room was a stark white, no accents, paintings and had a “cold” unwelcoming feel. There was no light bulbs in bedside lamps , I managed as I removed one from the table lamp. The room could use a deep clean…very dirty corners close to heater and in bathroom. There were no towels racks…towels were folded on counter top. I have stayed at this location many times and I recall the rooms were better appointed in the past. I appreciate that you are renovating, perhaps leave incomplete rooms for a real last minute need. I was disappointed this visit.
