Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the popcorn, nachos and beer. Very relaxing after 10 hours in the car. Breakfast was great!

It was a nice room and breakfast was good.

The flyer that was placed on the dresser in the room was a large flyer and it said in Large letters "Room Service" with the your hotels logo on top. So we ordered room service and gave them the room number and they said it would take about 45 minutes. We waited a hour and a half and we were wondering if they had to go out and catch the chicken first before they cooked it. Well we then got a phone call asking how their delivery service was and I was shocked because we had not received it. They were confused too, so they said they would contact the Front Desk to hold on. When she came back she said it was sitting on the counter at the front desk for a time. When my husband went down to get it the desk clerk said we had ordered from a outside vendor. That totally confused me because we thought according to the flyer on the desk in the room that it was the hotel room service. I feel that was quite a misrepresentation of the flyer and when we checked out I mentioned all of this to the morning desk clerk, and she said she could understand how that had looked. I told her maybe she should bring this up to her management, and she never said another word. Why didn't the desk clerk at night tell us the food was on the counter? The food was great too bad it was not your hotels.

The room was perfect! Clean, nice comfortable couch, chair, and bed. Nice location, quiet and nice hot breakfast. And all of the staff was wonderful.

Hotel had a man operating a noisy leaf blower outside our window at 8:00 AM. This was very disrespectful to guests trying to sleep.

It is a good location to the city. Easy to access restaurants and shops. The breakfast was exceptional. So many choices and the staff kept it well stocked during the entire time.

We have stayed here multiple times over the last 5 years, and we keep coming back. It is close enough to the U where our daughter went to school. The rooms are nice and clean.They are very accommodating, gave us a refund on a prepaid reservation when we accidentally canceled it. We booked again immediately. The breakfast has a large variety of hot and cold foods. I was impressed with two waffle irons making large and mini waffles. The manager’s reception of wine, beer and snacks is very unique. The pool, hot tub and outside patio with a grill are all inviting. Best of all the price is the best in the area. We chose this over the bigger hotels on campus. You would be happy to stay here. Sad to likely not come back now that our daughter is leaving.

The room had a strong musty smell and some spots on the wall were missing paint.

Small TV, shower is dated and drain backed up easily, hallway by the elevator did not get cleaned. There was a pile of chips and taco meat on the floor that stayed there for 2 days and was still there when we checked out.

Breakfast was amazing. The 24 hr supply of hot drinks was greatly appreciated. Staff was friendly and professional. Will definitely come back again for our next travel to Madison.

It would be great if the bathroom can be a little more spacious, and the faucet at the sink didn't spit water uncontrolling to the surrounding area.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the room had everything we needed for the night. There was a noticeable smoke smell, but overall it was a good place to stay if you're just looking for a clean, convenient place to sleep.

For a more last minute reservation, we did get our two rooms close to one another.

Small TV in the room. I'm a tea drinker and there was only coffee in the room. When I checked in the receptionist didn't ask if I had any memberships to take advantage of any savings.

The location was wonderful and the staff were incredible.

The room was a little dirty. There was random hair that didn’t belong to me in the shower. Also, there was a concert that was happening, and there were some very loud guest above me that slammed doors and until almost 3 AM.

Clean facility, courteous staff and great breakfast!

Staff here were lovely. However, I traveled as a single woman - and would not stay here again without my husband. I was woken multiple nights to loud truck sounds, men fighting, and people being loud in the hallways. The latter didn't bother me - it's a hotel, so I expect to hear other people. The first two were not ok for me. It also *always* smelled like smoke. The exercise room is *very* tiny - so I didn't use it at all. If you are a single man who smokes, then I think you'd enjoy staying here.

The whole hotel in the hallways at least on the second floor in the lobby smelled like pot. also there were lots of young kids that were making a lot of ruckus until 3:00 in the morning I don't know if they threw them out or if they left but I didn't sleep all night So that said that's the problem

I didn’t like they did not have any kitchen accessories but they did had a toaster & dishwasher liquid.

The breakfast was very good, and the breakfast staff was very friendly and efficient. Most of the staff was positive in their interaction with customers.

I had a bad experience with Robin, one of the front desk associates. She was unempathetic and not customer oriented at all. Her behavior can best be described as rude and uncaring.

Die to us having to be at the hospital so early we were not able to partake in the breakfast.

When I checked in I was not asked if I was an awards member or no other effort to see if there were special that could be applied to our stay.

First of all ,we opened the door and there was a bad smell in the room.when we got in bed there were 2 little bugs crawling on my side of the bed. We had to pull the blanke and sheets back to check for more. Not a very comfortable sleep!

Nothing about the property itself. I didn’t love the other guests smoking marijuana. The smell was overwhelming. I don’t care that people do it. I just don’t want it around me!

I really appreciated that real plates and silverware were used at breakfast. This makes a huge impact on the environment. This isn't common anymore, and it disturbs me. Breakfast was phenomenal! I loved the breakfast burrito bar. The staff was very kind to me and my young kids.

The front desk person did not return my cards after checking in. I did not realize they had not been returned until I was across the country. I wish they would have let me know with a call to my room, a knock on the door or at check out. The good news is the manger of the hotel sent my cards to me with one day express shipping. I was very apprehensive!

This location is in a busy part of Madison, but whatever you want/need from fast and casual restaurants, retail, and services is very close by. Much within walking distance. The hotel and room we had met all of the base criteria you'd expect from a decent hotel. However, for me, the DAILY Manager's Happy Hour for hotel guests 21+ is what bumps this to 5 star status. The hh consists of FREE tap beer, wine, nachos, and popcorn! Again, all FREE and on a daily basis! This was a an amazing bonus.

We enjoyed a quick check in followed by the managers reception (free beer/wine and nachos). The pool area was pretty busy as it was MDW, otherwise we would have taken a dip. The room itself was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The walls were a bit thin, as we could hear the family in the adjacent room. However, guests surrounding us respected the quiet hours. The breakfast buffet was filled with many different options and there was unlimited coffee/tea near the front desk. This was a great spot for a one night stay.

More snack options for the managers reception would have been appreciated.
