Tru By Hilton Madison West

I liked how kind the staff was and how easy parking was.

-

Un hotel excelente, moderno, tranquilo, muy limpio. El personal es demasiado amable. Seguiré regresando.

Todo me gusta.

Everything. Check in easy. Staff friendly. Room really clean. Products lovely. Breakfast excellent. Free parking. Lovely quiet location. Staff also helpful

Nothing

Tru Hilton Madison West was a convenient location and a lower price. The pillows were nice. It was reasonably clean. We were only looking to get some rest, not enjoy a luxurious vacation.

The screen in the room did not block the lights from the parking lot all night or the morning sun. This made sleeping difficult and then impossible. The bed was not comfortable.

Very clean and nice

Electric car charger outside the hotel wasn't working. Even if it was, there're only two stalls.

Very clean. No carpet. Nice TV. Good location.

The modern decor is cold and spartan. Very little furniture.

Clean and friendly staff, comfortable beds and pillows, good free breakfast

Chlorine-like smell in the hallway

A good experience overall, very satisafied

Great location

Bed is hard and dented. and had tv power issues

Room was fine. Clean. Very basic items in room.

The doors are super heavy. The breakfast is very average. Lobby area not inviting. All chairs were on the tables. No coffee in room.

The hotel is clean and smells clean.

Place was very likeable.

It's clean and smells clean.

Stay was very likeable.

Clean and new. Friendly staff and good breakfast!

Overall a very nice place to stay after a long ride. Clean, friendly and as listed.

Not much! Good as is.

water fill up place

no cinnabund

I like the cleanliness of every space. The room, breakfast and fitness ctr

I liked everything about the stay

Everything

Nothing

Friendly staff

Digital check-in email didn’t work: message was website malfunction and black out window shade off track broken

Everything was great

It was very clean and modern looking, with lots of amenities.

Rooms were a bit small but still comfortable.

Very clean and lots to do. Very great spot. Staff was super friendly and helped out so much.

Staff were cordial and did their jobs smoothly and well. Nice colors and graphics in the decorations on common area walls. Contemporary furniture with clean lines. Silky bed linens, nice towels. Great breakfast.

Uncarpeted floors in guest rooms so when the folks on the floor above stomped around after 7pm the noisy noise was annoying. Only 1 comfy chair in a room where 2-4 people could stay. No desk and chair - I really don’t like using my laptop in bed. Only 2 paper cups in a room where 2-4 people could stay in 2 queen beds. No simple bar soaps or little hand lotion containers, etc., but there were “hand wash” and “body wash” liquids in ugly plastic bottles hanging on the wall near the sink and in the shower - unsightly and a pain to use.

Location Room was sparse but clean

It smelled so bad when we came into the hotel. It smelled awful for two days in the hallways and especially in the welcome area. Really bad. I actually wondered if our room would be clean enough to stay while we were just checking in.

Clean and friendly staff

Bed uncomfortable and pillows were terrible

Good value, clean and comfortable bed!

It’s a budget hotel, basic but good value

The shower was great, fantastic water pressure. Clean room.

The bed was a bit hard and the heat would not turn off, so it was hot all night.

Hand soap and shower gel dispensers were empty.

The breakfast was alright, standard. The juice was good.

The room was small and cramped, the TV was terrible and insane to use. The room was not comfortable at all. For the price it was not up to the standard I expect from a Hilton property.

That it is close to my work and it’s quite

Nothing

Good

Ok

Attentive staff

Bed was uncomfortable, pillows were lumpy, had to ask for a TV remote, no Kleenex

Clean and no frills

No pool

Consistently good! Multiple stays and it's been clean and comfortable.

Bed was comfortable, room temp was easy to control, staff was friendly

Doors on rooms close VERY LOUDLY and I was woken up multiple times due to doors closing in the hall. Also poor sound proofing between floors--could hear lots of foot stomping, people walking around in room above, kept me awake both nights of stay.

Whilst in Chicago I made a last minute decision to drive up to Madison to see a friend. I wasn't anticipating to find anything decent/affordable at the last minute, but TRU popped up. It had great reviews and the price was right. I got to the hotel quite late but there was someone there to greet me and was super friendly. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Shower was wonderful. Simple but great. The breakfast was expansive and the checkout was easy. All in all a great place to stay!

Nothing! It was perfect for my stay.

Clean

No microwave in room; ADA tub didn’t have shower bench

Breakfast was fine. Typical fair for this type of establishment.

Wish the rooms would have been bigger and a second chair.

The second sift desk clerk was wonderful. We got back late. There was no parking available in the front lot, so I had to park in the lot behind the building. She told my wife to let me know that she was leaving and that I could have her parking space.

Nice lobby area.

Had a hard time separating our bill

Staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the price was very reasonable

We didn’t have an issues to report.

Wonderful

Clean room. Helpful staff. Recycle cans in a receptacle in lobbly.

Huge lobby with games. Great breakfast. Gym is small but 24 hour. Everywhere was very clean and tidy.

Good

Friendly greeting, clean room, ample space, decent breakfast.

Great place, a new concept for Himton and I like it. Will stay at a Tru again.

No issues

This hotel was one of cleanest hotel i've ever stayed add. Super friendly staff, room was very clean, and the beds are exceptional! Would absolutely stay at this Tru again.

Clean great location Nice staff Great breakfast

Clean and friendly. Good location.

Maintenence need to rehang bathroom mirrors an inch higher so the facet levers have room to move without chipping the mirror frame or breaking the handle. I've stayed in 107, 207, and 307 and they all have the same issue.

It was a basic hotel. Nothing fancy. Mattress was stained, window curtains didn’t go all the way down so light came in, the shower floor was dirty. Had what we needed for one night but won’t stay again.

Really nice area with loads of stores and restaurants nearby. Liked the layout of the room. Breakfast was good. Coffee was a little starbuck-sie bitter, not my preference. Could not get the room-darkening shade down because the metal chain that pulls it was broken. My wife loved the bed but it gave me a sore back, it was on the firm side. Could not get the TV remote to deliver a channel. It wanted to stay on the TRU-welcome screen. Arrows didn't seem to work on the remote unless you held them down for five seconds, which took a while to figure out. Really struggled with the TV, kind of gave up after a while. Possibly the remote needed new batteries.

Easy in and out of the area

Coffee is old always

A very modern and excellent facility. Has all the amenities you would need for a terrific stay. There’s a pool table in the lobby along with an adequate gym for a quick workout. Madison is a wonderful town in which this facility is located. You could not ask for a better breakfast in the morning.

Nothing bad to say

Super clean. Really nice rooms

Nice and clean room.

It was clean, the staff was friendly and the food was was very good

No complaints

Great property and kind staff.

There is one handicapped accessible room wih two beds and roll in shower

Excellent condition. Clean, safe place to stay. Conveniently located by many restaurants and shopping. I did wish there were microwaves in the rooms.

Breakfast was fine and the staff and lobby area was really nicely done and very clean. We were only there for one night, but it was pleasant to be there. The staff recommended a restaurant we could walk to and it had great food! The hotel even provided a coupon for the meal!

It was not easy to locate, as in an area with many hotels and apartment buildings. Lots of car noise and a very busy area. No freezer to put our cooler ice pack. All this was pretty minor for one night, though.

Hands down, the most obnoxious housekeeping staff I've ever encountered. And I work in the industry and travel a ton. Check out time says before noon. We had the DND sign on the door. They started knocking at 9:45. Told them we were staying until 11:30 due to an appointment. They proceeded to knock three more times.
