The breakfast was great. Way better than expected from a continental breakfast. Eggs, sausage or bacon, breakfast potatoes, fresh fruit and so much more.

Expansive breakfast with lots of options. Better than most hotel breakfasts. The shuttle service was amazing and so convenient. We didn’t have a car and it was super handy. It rained the entire time we were there so we were grateful that the hotel had umbrellas we could use. Nice gym.

Noisy plumbing. Rooms could use a brightening update - the dark furniture made it feel dated. Rooms were on the small size. Low ceilings in the hall way.

The front desk staff were some of the most unimpressive people I have met in a hotel. There were several issues, but for simplicity, I will leave just one. I called the front desk and asked a simple question: "Can you drink the tap water at the hotel?" (I travel a lot, and sometimes it's not recommended.) She replied, "I wouldn't." OK, so how do we get drinking water? She said they have free water downstairs. "And do you have bottles for the water?" "Yes, of course." So I go downstairs, and the "free water" is the water spout in the soda machine. There are no bottles for this; there is just bottled water that they sell ($5/gallon). So we already know she's not great at answering questions. I ask again, "So the tap water really can't be used?" "Well, I wouldn't..." That's not really answering the question. Is it just hard? Is there lead? What's exactly is the problem with it? She cannot answer this question. She just waves her hand vaguely and finds something fascinating on the blank wall to stare at. Finally, in despair, I return to my room and pour a glass. I wait a minute. Nothing forms at the bottom; no deposit there. I take a sip. It's fine. I gulp it all down. It's really quite nice. What a long song and dance for absolutely no reason to just get a drink of water! Now imagine how well they explained parking at the hotel! (Fun fact: they didn't. They assumed you knew! Because, MIND POWERS!!!)

The bed and room were comfortable, the breakfast was amazing. The staff were responsible and friendly. The cleaning service by request was a great idea to spare resources, but they did come when we requested it. It was close to my parents', which was the idea, and also close to the attractions around Madison.

The worst part was the shower flooded no matter how hard we tried to keep it from overflowing into the bathroom. It was slippery and dangerous and nothing was done. The parking lot was crowded and not sure if it was secure.

The cleanest hotel we have ever stayed. Bathroom was spotless, even the corners were clean. Breakfast, included, was excellent. An array of food. Scrambled eggs or hard boiled, pancakes, French toast, cold or hot cereal, fruit, juices, excellent coffee! Staff was friendly and professional!

we had a great stay at this hotel. the room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet even though it was a holiday with a lot going on in town. the staff were very nice and accommodating. the restaurant was closed but they recommended several local places. the shuttle bus will drive within a 2 mile radius, and the shuttle bus drivers are incredibly helpful and informative! I would definitely stay here again if in town.

We stayed after an outpatient procedure that required us to stay near the hospital. The hotel was nice and quiet. The staff were very nice. The resturant was very good. Well worth the stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

The room smelled like smelly feet. The fan on the wall unit didnt work. The fridge barely got cold even on high. We also requested a room with a tub and the staff let us know that when we book through a 3rd party it cannot be guaranteed. So, we didn't get a room with a tub for personal care for our adult son. We have stayed at the Inntowner many years in the past and have never had a room that smelled as if it hadn't been cleaned. Maybe the carpet needs cleaming.

The breakfast exceeded my expectation. It offered many choices and was eggs were tasty and warm.

I stayed at the Best Western Plus to undergo outpatient surgery at the UW Madison hospital. The staff were extraordinarily accommodating. Clearly they know many of their guests are there for medical purposes, and so they are not surprised by unusual requests, like extra wash cloths.

If I had to quibble, I think they could do better with their coffee. It wasn't terrible. But a real solid cup would've put an exclamation point on the morning.

The shuttle was really convenient for around town. I wish it went to the airport too!

Hotel staff were accomidating, free shuttle service was prompt, room was nice, beds were comfortable, shower was pretty with nice scented shampoos, conditioner and body soap, quality big screen TV with Netflix options, etc, the free breakfast in the restaurant area was nice and plentiful, and the pool and jacuzzi were relaxing and perfect temps.

Very noisy but worst of all I had to rush to get on a plane after my flight was cancelled to catch an earlier flight and left my charging cable. I called and emailed them within 12 hours but no one bothered even responding.

The location of the property was in great proximity to the Stadium for the Commencement Ceremony! I loved my view of the tree lined street. Very nice!!!

The couch was very dated. The toilet seat was not mounted very well so it kept moving.

We have stayed many times when in Madison for medical appointments at UW Health. The staff is especially friendly and considerate, the rooms are spotless and breakfast is fine. Parking is available and there is an onsite bar and restaurant which we enjoy. There is a separate lounge provided by UW Health which is an added plus.

I stay at this hotel frequently when I am in Madison and have always been very pleased with my stay with two very notable, serious exceptions. I'd like to think that perhaps those were flukes, so I will list the positives first, but the negatives my last two visits were pretty significant negatives! Positivies: The hotel is clean, reasonably priced, convenient, and has good amenities. It is in a very good location - about a mile from main UW campus, 2 miles from downtown Madison, but away from most of the traffic and congestion and has free and adequate parking as well as a free shuttle, which is very convenient. It has a fairly decent free breakfast, a business center, and a washer/dryer which I have had to make use of in an emergency that was helpful. The staff is generally helpful and friendly. HOWEVER, twice in the past few months, while I have been in the room, housekeeping staff has entered the room with no warning! The first time, my son and I were sound asleep and I had forgotten to put the bolt on the door and at 7:00 a.m. a man entered the room, waking us up, saw us, and then immediately left. I jumped up and ran out of the room to chase him down. The hotel was undergoing some construction at the time and he said he thought our wing of the hotel was empty. I was alarmed and concerned and called down to the front desk and they apologized for the error and promised to speak with housekeeping. After further complaints on my part, I was offered a discounted stay, but this past week when I was there again on business and my teenage son was with me, on our last morning, at 9:30 after returning from breakfast, my son was in the shower and I was getting dressed for the day when suddenly, A MAN ENTERED OUR ROOM WITHOUT WARNING AGAIN! No knocking, no calling "housekeeping" - just unlocked and opened the door. He left immediately upon realizing the mistake and I threw on clothes and chased him down the hall. He didn't speak much English, so I pointed to the "Do not disturb" sign hung on the door and he apologized and communicated that he thought the room was vacant. Again, I called the front desk to complain and they promised to discuss the issue with the housekeeping staff. Yes, from now I will keep the bolt on the door at all times, even when I am awake in the room, but I have never had this happen in all my years of staying in hotels, so to have it happen twice in a few months is concerning. It is a major violation of privacy and security, and quite frankly, even with the bolt engaged, if I were sleeping or dressing and heard the banging of someone trying to open the door against the bolt, it would still be alarming! Housekeeping ought to know to verify if the room is vacant, knock multiple times, wait an adequate amount of time to allow for people to wake up/respond, and identify themselves through the door before ever opening a door.

This hotel was very inviting after a hard day at the UW Hospital. Location is great front desk was very friendly and the restaurant had great service as well as food. Great variety. The room was clean & fresh. Bathroom was small with sink outside of the bathroom. Rest of the room was very spacious. The breakfast buffet was nice and got us off to a great start for a long trip home. Will definitely return

Staff was nice, room was nice

We had to check out a day early because 31 inches of snow was on the way, 1/4 visibility for driving. White outs were going to occur. We bought the insurance for the trip but couldn't use it to get my 2nd night back. I didn't know we booked with you. I was on Best Western website and confirmation was from them. That's why I bought the travel insurance in case something happened they would refund my money. I was very surprised when they said, I booked through you!

This property was a great choice for our overnight stay. Friendly front desk staff. Hotel was under renovation, but it did not cause us any issues. Our room was nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed dinner at the on site restaurant, the cheese cake was to die for! The included hot breakfast was wonderfully prepared and presented, offering something for everyone. A free shuttle was appreciated to get to our appointments at the UW hospital. We would definitely choose to stay here in the future.

Although the building was being remodeled, the staff were friendly and helpful and our room was outstanding. Our dinner in the dining room was excellent and a good value.

Once the remodeling is completed in the hallways and community spaces, the hotel will be an excellent place for us to stay when visiting our daughter in the Madison area.

The price of the room for what our room was actually like. While it was wonderful to be close to the hospital which which was the purpose of our stay I feel we were overcharged for our stay.

No direction ahead of time regarding the renovations. Lots of noise heard outside of room. Room is a bit cramped, but we were only there for one night, so it worked ok for us. The refrigerator didn’t work. We didn’t realize it until we were leaving and our cold items were no longer cold.

Good location; UW-campus adjacent. Easy walk to Fieldhouse & Camp Randall for sporting events. Did not sample breakfast options.

Hotel is currently (12/25) undergoing massive update; entire floors are being re-done, including 1st floor; meaning it must be negotiated to reach temporary Front Desk and elevators, also Pool/Spa - which was open, thankfully. There was NOTHING ON BOOKING.com to indicate this was occurring. Lobby was in flux; entry was around back; rather confusing. A heads-up from this sight would've been nice.

Location, location, location. I was one of those who stayed there because of its proximity to the university of Wisconsin hospital. I have a few more appointments coming up, and I will be staying there again. It looks a little rough around the edges at the moment, because they are doing some updates and renovations. But that’s just a momentary decline in appearances. Very nice staff, good facility, pretty decent food in the restaurant.

The sheets were really scratchy and the pillows were very clumpy. Not a very comfortable nights sleep. The amount paid was way more than the value of the stay for one night. The breakfast started too late and we were not able t able to have any.
