Drury Inn & Suites Frankenmuth

The 5:30-7:00 snack was a dinner, and it was excellent. The breakfast was everything we would hope it would be. I could not find hot tea, but my friend did find it. Our room was very small. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very cold when we entered, but we changed the temperature, and it became just right.

The room was the smallest hotel/motel room I have ever been in.

This hotel was a surprise! The room was nicely appointed and comfortable. dinner and drinks was unexpected, a light dinner buffet with drinks during "happy Hour" The menu changes daily form what I understand, it was tasty and filling. Breakfast was another surprise! A full buffet with several choices from eggs, pancakes, sausage to biscuits and gravy. Cereal and toast too!

My only complaint was a chair in the room that I tripped over. It was my fault, clumsy on that one!

We loved the friendliness of the staff. The breakfast and kickback was wonderful and location was great. Everything was clean including the pool area.

There was a smell in our room. It was not overwhelming but it faintly smelled of pee. I didn't say anything about it because the room exceed my cleanliness inspection But, my granddaughter mentioned it ever time we returned to the room so I know it wasn't just me.

What not to like?! The entire place was very clean, staff was incredibly nice and the breakfast and 530 kickback was great! Would recommend this place every time.

The meals and staff were great. The room was very clean, large and comfortable.

The water pressure was low. The hot tub didnt have all the jets working and it was so dirty.

We enjoyed the drinks at night (didn’t get the dinner choices because we had already eaten..but they did look good) and the breakfast was great…many choices for everyone Every employee we encountered were so personable

There was nothing we didn’t like but…Additional outdoor seating area would be nice to enjoy our drinks outside…

Everything was great the staff especially Justin,Emily and D.J. I did'nt get the name of the lady in that was there for breakfast. The food and drinks were really good.

The only thing that I did'nt like was in our shower there was a piece of tape with hair on it on the seat in the shower, and the bagels at breakfast were on the dry side they tasted stale. and I would of liked regular cream cheese instead of light cream cheese for the bagels.

Was supposed to be dinner and snacks till 7 at 625. It was closed.

I love the location and convenience of this hotel. I enjoy the happy hour and wonderful breakfast.

All went well with our stay, it was in a convenient location, able to walk to many shops etc. staff was very courteous and helpful.

I booked a room with a view and all I could see was the roof of the neighboring building

I like that they do breakfast and kickback dinner with drinks. Serve pop and popcorn all day.

Have to watch prices when booking. Staying Frankenmuth is getting to be pricy, With all the extras it helps to stay in my price range.

Your staff was awesome, we spoke to them several times during our stay . The added evening snack was nice we didn’t take advantage of the alcohol but we did eat a couple times instead of evening meal. Breakfast was great we did eat 5 breakfast meals. All great

Our room was at the end of the hallway on the main floor. There was a loud door near our room that we could hear every time it closed. I think it was the rear exit door. Other than that everything was very nice.

In the heart of city. They fit the design & architectural style of the area so the property fits seamlessly on the street. The 4-story atrium lobby is beautiful.

Breakfast was great. Nice selection. The dinners were also great, fresh, flavorful and really added value to the stay. The room was also nice, perhaps not as spacious as some of the newer Drury locations but it was plenty of room and the bathrooms were clean. That is a rarity in hotels. The staff was amazing and friendly and my wife even commented how everyone, and I mean everyone from the manager down, did not miss an opportunity to straighten things, wipe things and keep everything looking good.

The only thing I can think of was that the room smelled a little musty....but I know it was because the air was not on cooling the room down before we walked in and there is always that smell. So, nothing bad to say.

Great breakfast. Room was clean and many of staff asked us if everything was alright . stayed at upper floor rooms which were a little more quiet as there was noise from the street out front. Have stayed at many Drury inns and always had good experiences.

You get a Hot Breakfast and a Dinner that is included with your stay, plus pop is free and you get free certain kinds of alcohol drinks.

Can't really say I didn't like anything. Enjoy the place and would go there again.

The breakfast and evening kickback were good although there was not enough Diet Coke available at any time. Staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful.

When accommodations for 2 handicapped travelers is requested it would be very helpful not to place on the 2nd floor in the very last room in the hall. Having handicapped bars in the bathroom is not the only thing needed to be considered an accessible room. My brother's wheelchair did not fit inside the room or between the beds or any other furniture.

The air conditioner was extremely loud and kept changing from what we set it at. Wife set it to 69 in the middle of the night it was showing 73. It clicked and the fan would speed up and slow down constantly.

They are renovating the building. The noise starts at 8am. Noise from 3 floors down, echoes up and makes it seem as they are working inside your room. Plus, spraying outside around windows and the fumes filtrate your room. Ugh!

Breakfast was good. A nice variety of food, both hot and cold. The morning staff who took care of the food were exceptional! The lady who was there our first 2 mornings (Wed & Thurs) was so friendly. She was a really good fit. Very attentive, kind and always had a smile and a greeting. She seemed to enjoy her work. The third morning was a different lady who was also very good. Very attentive and smiled a lot. Both were genuinely friendly with guests. The lady in the evenings who tended the bar was friendly too at first. She was very attentive to certain folks more than others.I have been in the catering industry for 4 decades. You know when being friendly is sincere or a show. We were given drink cards allowing us 3 drinks each from the bar. We each had 2 but our cards were checked off that we had 3. I never fail to tip, even when service is questionable. All three ladies were tipped by us. Hospitality guests can be ugly at times which is why we do our very best to be truly kind to the workers.

Very friendly staff. Kickstart Happy Hour was a welcome surprise since we didn't really want to go out to grab a bite to eat. The remodeling is still underway and the room we stayed in was very well updated. Breakfast was one of the best I've had for free hotel breakfasts.

Rooms didn't have complimentary mini water bottles. That's a nice touch, but not a deal breaker. Chili could have had more meat and beans..it was too light on those ingredients and soupy. Toilet roll is placed too far back on the wall and should be more parallel to the seat. Difficult to reach... impossible if one has issues with twisting motions.

Cleanliness, the food being included was excellent! The staff was excellent and friendly!

Was a bit steep in price considerations most hotels already provide breakfast and we only had on adult beverage each!

It’s great walking distance from the downtown area.

We missed our beverage comps but just a few minutes. It would have been nice for that to have still been honored. It’s gross that they place two liters of soda of for guest to share. Individual drinks would be more sanitary. Also, there was barely anyone at the front desk. The construction made for very early mornings.

Excellent location for walking to downtown. We enjoyed being able to access Frankenmuth easily from the hotel.

We specifically booked the hotel because it said it had a fitness center and a pool/hot tub. When we arrived, they told us the fitness center was unavailable due to construction - which wasn't mentioned anywhere on this website. We attempted to use the hot tub - even waiting until 9pm so that there were less kids. The pool access door is broken so you have to get staff to let you in. Then, there were kids and teens screaming, running and yelling when we came in at 9pm. To polish things off, we were there for vacation - tried to sleep in. Kids started yelling and screaming in the hallways around 7am, and construction started at 8am. A really unpleasant stay and expensive to boot. Do not recommend - you can find more affordable places just a half a mile further down the road.

Emily and Richard were wonderful, and the "kickback" snacks and drinks were honestly such an amazing bonus---- due to this experience, we would specifically choose to stay at a Drury Inn in the future---- the value was outstanding! Great location! Nice hottub as well!
