Hampton Inn Houston Near the Galleria

Clean hotel Well located. Friendly, helping and efficient staff Adequate breakfast.

No complaints. Everything was great.

Location is great. The price for me was perfect

The staff could communicate much better. At one point, the fire alarm went off and everyone evacuated the building, but none of the staff gave any instructions or updates. Guests were left confused and unsure of what to do. When the alarm stopped, the cleaners simply began going back inside, but no member of staff confirmed whether it was safe for guests to return. Everyone just assumed it was safe because the alarm had stopped. I found this very unprofessional, especially in a situation involving guests’ safety. Even the simplest level of communication and coordination would have made a big difference.

Very clean. Beds very comfortable. Pool was clean. Room was clean as well. Sheets smelled fresh and clean. Breakfast had too many option. Coffee was great.

Parking fee should be included in the price. Its a considerable amount per night.

The breakfast was average

Bit older building, other than that good experience

Clean and close to everything

Nothing

Fair - not bad but the plastic took away anything good

cleaner, not so worn out - just terrible for the price

location and food

the fact that I searched free parking and you popped up and then we get there and had to pay $29 to park we couldn't cancel because we would have been charged a penalty and have to look for another place to stay

Location was perfect and the breakfast was great

The room was so humid that all the clothes got wet.

Everything

The breakfast eggs were powdered not real.

Delicious healthy breakfast, cozy comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff

The water in the shower was not hot enough

Parking fee Smell bad at the side door closed to the pool The bathroom door is very old.

Localização, limpeza e simpattia dos funcionários

Esteve tudo dentro das minhas expectativas

The breakfast and location, the snack area, all the amenities.

The parking fees and the bed was sort of hard and worn out.

The amenities were nice, breakfast tasty, snack concession filled with great options and location was great

Parking fees and the bed was sort of hard

comfy bed and clean room, most of staff was nice but one was very rude

our shower never did get hot not even luke warm had to take cold showers. the pool was very dirty, gate key didnt work, had to call front desk every time, and one of the staff we talked to on saturday afternoon on 8/8/2026 to get in the gate was very rude and disrespectful

It’s in quiet neighborhoods, closer to places we were going to.

Breakfast is not that great. They said they will be charging $29.99 parking fee. Which was not mentioned during booking. Which got refunded later

I booked 3 rooms at this location on July the 3rd and checked in at 4am. The night auditor was nice and helpful given the time that we got there after a long drive from Florida. I checked in to room 510 which was not fit to be used as dog kennel to say the least. It was outdated with an overwhelming smell of mildew and wet carpet. I attempted to shower but to my shock the bathroom was filthy with faeces on the toilet seat and a dirty shower/floor. I BARELY had any sleep since I had to change rooms at 4.45 am and switch all luggage after being locked out of the original room. Up on my departure I realized that I was missing my IPAD therefore I called the hotel trying to get it back. Abigail at the front desk was very helpful and sensitive to my situation. She was not able to find therefore she advised that a manager will call me or email me to follow up on this situation. We also had only 1 car but got charged for parking for 2.After waiting for a week I called the 1800 number but to no avail. Hampton Inn does not care about their guests.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and I have nothing but praise for it! The hotel is excellent, the staff are wonderful and very helpful, and the breakfast is also very good. Today, however, I would especially like to recognize one of the housekeeping employees, Cintia Yasmin. All of the staff members are wonderful and attentive, but she deserves special recognition. Every time she cleaned my room, she did it with such a positive attitude and happiness, and she always left everything impeccably clean, as if I had just arrived at the hotel. Congratulations to Cintia Yasmin for her excellent work and kindness! If every hotel in the United States had employees as dedicated and helpful as the staff at this hotel, it would be wonderful. I will definitely stay here again!

we didnt try the breakfast because the place itself didnt feel clean

it was not what I chose online. We could barely move around in the room. The room smelled dirty. Upon check i did not get the $80 refund that I was promised.

Hotel padrão para o que se propõe. Tudo é simples mas bem bacana. Recomendo.

Hotel típico com boa estrutura. Roupa de cama e banho boas e ótimo atendimento.

Location and staff was friendly and helpful.

Good location, close to Galleria Mall, Target, many other shops. Close to great restaurants

Electricity went out twice, there was one day that there was no water early in the morning.

I really liked the hotel. The bed was super comfortable, and the housekeeping staff were very efficient, cleaning my room every day. The reception staff were also very helpful. My intention was to stay longer, but the hotel doesn’t have a laundry machine.

I always stay with this hotel chain because the service is usually very good and consistent. The hotel is comfortable, the room was cleaned perfectly every day, and overall my stay was pleasant and relaxing.

This time, I noticed for the first time that part of the hotel looks very outdated. The old walls, worn furniture, scratches, and overall dated feel of the room slightly affected my impression. However, this was mostly balanced by the excellent daily housekeeping and some staff members who were very kind and helpful

Location

Some areas in the room was broken o deteriored

Hello, I do not know what to say about this hotel (( Let's get started! 1. The hotel looks normal from the outside, and so does the inside! But the whole secret lies in the rooms, I've rented 2 times! Let me explain : 2 days and two different rooms! And both of them were almost similar to each other! Upon entering the room, cleanliness catches the eye! But this is at first glance! In any case, do not take off your shoes, do not make our mistakes!!!

Nothing exceptional.

The bed was so uncomfortable. The furniture looked old and damaged. The walls looked very warn. Smelled like weed.

Great location and the room was very clean!

The evening desk person wasn’t very helpful when I asked about places to walk for dinner. Maybe a list would be better if the person isn’t friendly.

the lobby was nice, well kept and clean

the rooms were dirty, run down. Everything I asked the desk for I had to go down and get it myself, lastly the 29 dollar/a day cgarge for parking- YOU HAVE SOME NERVE

Great Hampton Inn near Galleria in Houston. Near Antoes deli and many destinations

Cost for daily hotel parking.

No hubo limpieza!! Terrible!!

Breakfast was convenient, and very good.

I have traveled for the last 20 years for work, and I can honestly say that everything was exceptional. To me the staff was happy to be of service anytime needed. It felt like everyone enjoyed their jobs, and it was a pleasure to assist the people staying at your facility. I would honestly have to dig hard to find something that I didn't like, but it would have been useful to have local shuttle. I understand that adding this could add to the cost of the stay, so I would honestly rather not have a shuttle and keep the cost of the stay down. Thanks to all the staff for continuing to do what they do.

Budget friendly hotel with no frills or perks. Clean. Comfortable. Rooms were typical size for a Hampton Inn. Older hotel and in need of some updating but maintained well enough. Easily accessible location. Parking was safe and convenient. No complaints.

No water one morning

Breakfast was mediocre at best.

Not up to most Hampton Inn standards.

Great location. Breakfast gave plenty of options

One bed was a little saggy from use.

It is a good location , close to shopping area and restaurants. The staff is very nice and helpful! It is good for short stay.

The property itself worn out! I would not give it three stars! Some stains on the ceiling and walls! The AC is old and loud model! The smell of cleaning products was very strong! They do not provide a free bottle of water, but you can buy it at their reception desk.

When do you plan to repair the Left hand elevator in the North bank of elevators? It was not working last December(2025)

It was convenient

Parking fees

It was good until we faced situation with manager who is very rude, disrespectful to customer.

Charged for parking I never used. We clearly told the manager we would not park there, yet the charge was added after checkout with no warning. The manager was rude, aggressive, and unprofessional, made us liars, refused to show any proof, and completely refused to communicate. This is not my first stay here, but after this treatment I will never return. Avoid this hotel.

Not great.

Parking fees.

Breakfast was good. Glad they had coffee out 24 hours along with water. Staff was nice.

The location, excellent staff, and wonderful breakfast besides a comfortable quiet room made for an excellent stay.

Only that my shower and tub faucet only has hot scalding water. Otherwise it was a great stay!

Front desk Staff and front desk Manger

Good location

Need more light

The staff was friendly & helpful. The breakfast was yummy with many options--excellent proteins and the sweet treats I was craving too. I was nicely surprised to find bananas and boiled eggs along with a sugar free juice option!

Can you believe the hot water in the bath was too hot--I had to fill the tub and let it cool off a bit. I didn't mind as I had stayed at a different hotel chain and could not get hot water in the tub/shower--this was a wonderful problem to have ;-) LOL

Clean, super comfy bed and pillows!!

Location, location, location. And value, value, value. The place is pleasant and well run. End of discussion.

Nothing.

Everything was smooth and the staff did an amazing job making us feel welcome.

Location was good

The room smelled of urine and pets
