Came in town for a wedding which was being held at the Omni, but decided to stay here instead. The rooms are great. They’re like suites. The bar and restaurant are really nice and everybody at the front desk and in the whole place could not have been nicer and in a great location. You can walk all around the Galleria area with great restaurants and shops. I’m glad we stayed here.

The entire team has made us feel like home. We were here for a long business trip, and they really took care of us to make this place a home away from home. Also I am normally never impressed with hotel restaurants, but they are something else, each dish was delicious and I will forever miss the tuna salad!

We absolutely loved the room. We rented the space for our non profit and the space was perfect, food was delicious and the staff was amazing

The chifley was a great for us to host our business meeting. The food and atmosphere were great we will definitely come again!

Give Joy Foundation & Resource Center had a wonderful experience hosting our meeting at this hotel. The facility was clean, welcoming, and provided a great atmosphere for our gathering. The food was outstanding—I especially enjoyed the beet and burrata salad, as well as the scallops and risotto. Both dishes were beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. The staff was professional and accommodating, helping to make our meeting a success. We are grateful for their hospitality and look forward to returning in the future.

This was by far one of the most convient, clean & friendly hotels I’ve ever stayed in!!!! The staff was great and anything we needed was at our door within 5 -10 mins. The atmosphere was great and my husband & I truly enjoyed our bartender (Jennifer) & I hope she’s still our bartender when we return because she really studies her guest and knows exactly what you like and how you like it👌🏾😁oh and she makes the Best strawberry lemon drop I’ve ever tasted! Our room was very spacious and clean and I have not one complaint! Thanks for such a great stay😁👌🏾

The hotel was great! I was there to do promotions and Jennifer help us out. She was literally the best. Very attentive and sweet. The restaurant at the hotel was so good. I will be back!

The location is good as it is close to galleria mall. Also, the rooms were a nice size even though the lighting was harsh. I have to rate the hotel poorly for one main reason. The rooms don’t have a microwave so I requested one multiple times and was ignored. The microwave was never brought to my room. The hotel check in was also slow and not welcoming. I would never stay at this hotel again. The staff need to be retrained on hospitality.

We travel to Houston often. Always looking for a decent centrally located hotel that offers self parking , a restaurant, a decent size room with modern decor, a decent size bathroom and comfortable beds and pillows . Suite rooms are always a plus but harder to find nice ones that don’t cost a fortune . The Chifley checks all these boxes . The beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows were awesome ! Even the couch and couch pillows were comfortable! The only thing I would change is putting a shave bar foot rest in the shower for us ladies, a microwave , and installing better quality more reliable larger refrigerators. Ours froze all our water bottles during our stay , was very hard to get the temperature just right to avoid the refrigerator getting too warm and unsafe to store food . The restaurant staff was really very speedy and take out was very easy and quick .

Great location and facilities, all suite rooms are perfect for business with lounge and working area with kitchenette and separate bedroom, very quiet and comfortable, staff were incredibly helpful, welcoming and professional. First time in Texas and the staff here certainly gave a great welcome and impression. Very good value

We could not have had a better experience at the Chifly. Not only is the location excellent, but the valet were incredibly responsive and engaging the front desk was very kind and helpful, the breakfast and waiters were fantastic, the hotel itself is beautiful with everything that you need and the rooms had a elegance to them and we’re very clean. This will be my go to hotel in Houston. Highly recommend!

Leo at Valet made the experience exceptional! He was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain how valet works since this was my first time. Our hotel room was clean, spacious, and luxurious, I would stay here again.

Comfortable and clean, well maintained with close distance to restaurants and shopping. Hotel has x3 handicap parking near building and valet parking assistant Leo realized my needs and mentioned that he would be OK with us parking in a non-handicap first level valet spot--thank you Leo.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel near the Galleria! The location was absolutely perfect — close to shopping, restaurants, and everything we needed. Modern and very classy hotel

I recently stayed at this hotel while in town for a wedding. I had requested an early check-in due to a long day of traveling, and I was very appreciative that the staff was able to accommodate that request. Being able to settle in earlier made a big difference. Upon entering the room, there was a questionable odor, but initially I assumed it may have been from cleaning products or something temporary. Since I wasn’t in the room long before heading out to spend time with friends, I didn’t think much of it at first. However, by the next day, the smell seemed much stronger, and I noticed several spots throughout the carpet that appeared to be old vomit residue or stains that had not been properly cleaned. At that point, it became clear that the odor was likely coming from the condition of the carpet itself. At check-in, I had also asked if there was a room available closer to my friends, but unfortunately nothing was open, so I understood that I would be remaining in that assigned room. Despite the unpleasant smell and the carpet condition, I will say that the overall stay was still reasonably pleasant. As a Hilton Honors member, I appreciated receiving text communication from staff throughout my stay asking if I needed anything, and any requests I made were fulfilled promptly. The customer service aspect was definitely a positive. One area that could use improvement is the explanation of the incidental fee at check-in. I believe staff should explain this more clearly, and it should also be posted in plain sight on the website so guests are not caught off guard. Overall, while the staff was attentive and accommodating, the cleanliness and condition of the room left much to be desired.

The hotel location was easy to get to and the room was a great size. Staff was friendly and amenable. Was able to get a microwave in room with request. Loved the outdoor pool and the bar area. Good food and drinks.

The front desk staff were excellent. They were super friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and the shower was delightful.

The ice machine was out of order on my floor so I had to go to another floor to retrieve some. Also, the room service delivery person forgot my drink and I ended up having to go downstairs stairs to the restaurant area to get it.

Had a great experience at the Chifley. The hotel staff was incredible—Toni B. went above and beyond to make sure I was well accommodated and had an amazing stay. Her customer service was some of the best I’ve had throughout any of my hotel stays in all of my travels. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Houston. I look forward to staying here each time I’m in the area!!

Our stay was a pleasant one. The hotel was in close proximity to many restaurants that were in walking distance. The GM, Sal, checked in to make sure we had a good stay. The housekeeper was very nice and our favorite staff member was probably the female bartender on Friday and Saturday night.

I just want to give Ms Toni a huge shoutout! She has literally gone above and beyond with anything that was needed for this group staying at the hotel. I went down at 9:30pm asking if they sell nail polish, they don’t but she was able to get some for me instead of walking to a store at night in a town I don’t know. I’ve never stayed anywhere with that level of customer service, she’s amazing!

Leo the doorman / bellhop was extremely polite and professional in accommodating my needs. Definitely appreciated his service!

Toni B. gave us a warm welcome and helped answer all of our questions. For booking a week before our trip, the price was great. The hotel overall was quiet and clean. We look forward to staying in the future and hope to see Toni B. again!

I called before arriving at the hotel to let them know I was in Houston for a funeral and would love a quiet room. I spoke with Carly and she couldn’t have been sweeter. She offered complimentary breakfasts one morning for my daughter and me, and gave us a nice quiet room with a view. Simone and Mirantha were also very kind every time we saw them and asked if there was anything they could do for us.

Delivered to the room. Taste was awesome and the portion was plenty.

Overall the property was nice. There were far too many unchapparoned children and teenagers on the property. Apparently a basketball group of some sort was staying at the tine we visited. They were loud and obnoxious. It made moving around the dining area and lobby very frustrating and uncomfortable.

2 times I asked for wake up calls at 6:00 am at reception. Never happened

Staff checked me into someone else room without confirming my first name, we went up to the room and a dog came out. Went back down just to be given another room that’s doesn’t open. 3rd time going down the staff offered free breakfast to the guest where we walked into their room but never mentioned anything to me about the inconvenience. Staff also goes up with us to make sure the door opens to the room & yet again still didn’t open, she then goes down and gets another card to another room, I paid for a city view room and was placed in a room facing the AC unit. Overall a whole hour to check in, wouldn’t go back.

I was in town on business & had to choose a hotel for my work mates. We had about 110 room nights. This place was perfect. The rooms were large (all suites), the food was great & the people who work here are accommodating and lovely.

Refrigerator in room was filthy. Sink was dirty, too.

The bartender Diana was absolutely amazing…the drinks are a 10/10. The atmosphere here is great. We were greeted by a host before we could get out of our car. I highly recommend staying here. Oh yeah everything in the room was satisfying….nothing was dirty. Don’t forget when you go to the bar ask for Diana!!
