Provider-sourced guest reviews.
The staff was awesome and helpful. Facilities were nice and the beds were comfortable. They were able to get us connecting rooms.
We paid for early check-in but they were unable to provide when we arrived. They did not charge us for early check-in. We checked our luggage, but they did not take them to our rooms once the rooms were available. We had to go down and get them ourselves.

The location was great, the decor in the rooms is done really well. I loved the whole outdoor area. Definitely coming back soon. All the staff were super friendly.
The entire property and experience was fantastic.
Su estilo vintages pero actualizado Comodidad en las instalaciones y habitación
Great design, we loved the hot tub, bar, and overall vibe! Loved the tape player in the room with tapes to listen to.
No outside food is allowed even if you’re just hanging out outside in the back not near the restaurant and bar.
C'est plus un hôtel pour faire la fête que pour les touristes de la nature
Funky looking, very social, many people, buzzing energy. Bed was good. Easy parking.
Room had patchie parts and small moldy corners in the bathroom.
To expensive. My chihuahua pay $120.00 for one night
Staff was very helpful

I’d have given this a 10 if the prices of the wine at the bar weren’t so extortionate; the general store coffees Etc were also on the expensive side. That aside it was fantastic.
Wine prices!
After the first time we stayed here, we’ve never chosen another hotel since. It has the best vibe and the staff is unbelievable. There is so much to do, that you never have to leave the hotel. We were on a hiking trip with our four adult kids and once we checked in, we did not leave. We played cornhole, board games, shot pool, swam and sat in the sauna.
There is nothing to not like!
Friendly staff, mid-century layout - bar, fire light & warmth, and swimming pool.
The sauna was unavailable for a morning drop in before heading out.
We loved the open common area for the kids to swim and play in the grass while the parents relaxed by the fire. The rooms were cozy and cool which made us sleep very comfortably.
The food was delicious but the drinks were a little pricey. I paid $25 for a glass of wine which is a little absurd. Otherwise, everything was great!
Bellissime stanze e ristorante ottimo
Bien. Nous étions au calme belle établissement manger sur place est vraiment bien après avoir beaucoup rouler dommage que pour un établissement de se style la piscine ne soit pas chauffée Et dans la salle de bain la douche pourrait avoir un meilleur rideau car l eau va partout
The location and vibe are beautiful. Love the bar and coffee shop.
My room was not very clean. The bathroom smelled like sewer. And the bar staff was a little rude.
Communal areas. Pool and spa pool
No recycling. Not enough light in the room. Small trash cans.
Super Anlage
Nice place, for the money…I would return for a quick one night stay
It’s a little noisey, a lot of commotion going on, so again, perfect for a one night stay
Great alternative to a chain motel.
Pool, Zimmer, Lobby
Schlecht Schallisoliert. Man hört alles. TV, Gespräche etc.
Great property. Fire pits, good food and drinks. Live music. Book directly. If something happens you can cancel. Booking.com charges even if they say they don’t.
This was awesome. Lots to do.
Location very nice
No microwave to reheat food or beverage
Our family was really looking forward to staying here, but unfortunately our experience before we even arrived was extremely disappointing. A nearby wildfire caused very poor air quality, with the AQI exceeding 200 and public health guidance recommending that people stay indoors. While I understand the wildfire itself was completely outside the hotel's control, I was disappointed that management would not work with us on a cancellation despite the circumstances. What was most frustrating was the lack of communication. We had to send multiple messages and make several phone calls just to receive a response. During those conversations, we were given information about the fire and air quality that did not match publicly available reports, which only added to our frustration. I kept screenshots of the conditions throughout the process. To make matters worse, charges appeared on two different credit cards. It took multiple additional calls to have one of the charges reversed, and we ultimately had to file a credit card dispute to resolve the remaining issue. Ironically, one of the customer service representatives acknowledged that they had received many cancellations because of the wildfire, so it was clear we were not the only guests affected. Again, I don't fault the hotel for the wildfire. What disappointed me was how the situation was handled. A little empathy, flexibility, and proactive customer service would have gone a long way. We live only a few hours away and would likely have returned many times had this been handled differently. If your stay goes exactly as planned, you may have a perfectly good experience. But based on ours, if something unexpected happens, don't expect much flexibility or customer-focused problem solving. In our experience, protecting revenue appeared to take priority over taking care of guests.
No free breakfast. Few items for sale in the boutique store. Great location. High priced
I like the lights at night and the fire places
The ceiling had cracks and looked a little like black mold on the ceiling. The bed was way uncomfortable and hard to sleep and made a lot of noises
This motel looks average and is overpriced. The pictures don’t accurately represent the actual motel or rooms. The room had numerous cracks on the ceiling.
Das Zimmer war sauber, aber im Lounge/Barbereich und vor allem auf der Terrasse war es schmutzig. Auch der Pool war leider ungepflegt.
Super cute lobby and area to relax and congregate
The decor in the bedrooms were cute, but not as upscale the lobby. I would stay here again though. Great location. The bar closing at 10 is a bit hurried. They turn off the fire pits and everything.
Loved the atmosphere.
Wonderful boutique place with very well maintained grounds and plenty of space for everyone to do something (pool, hot tub, classy game room with pool table and fooseball). It was relaxing to sit on the deck while enjoying a handcrafted cocktail from a beautiful well stocked bar. The "all natural" general store served freshly made green chili stew and sandwiches that were delicious! The place felt like a cross between Palm Springs and Carmel in the mountains.
Centrally located to eatery’s, stores and gas stations.
Perhaps not enough outlets to plus in multiple devices.
The outdoor amenities were excellent. Best pool area I've seen yet! The fire pits were amazing.
The lobby, check-in area, patio, store, bar and lounge, and open spaces were all appealing, with a trendy, upscale vibe. The food at night was excellent; the gas fire pits around the place added a nice, even romantic touch. The bartender, store employee and reception desk personnel were all friendly and helpful. The room was updated yet old (as it’s a renovated older motel-style building), but we liked it overall. The functioning cassette player was a neat touch.
The price for the room, itself, is bloated. We’ve stayed in nicer rooms on our roadtrip for considerably less, so the value for the cost isn’t impressive.
The bar, dinning outdoors.
Place is too old, dark paint can only go so far.
Breakfast excellent, Very friendly staff and excellent service, billiard table, football and board games available for free, very well-maintained outdoor area and pool, cool seating options with fire pits."
Food and drink was very expensive but overall comfortable stay.
Did not like the pour over coffee
piscine froide
The ambiance was great - we liked the firepits and open air feel of the bar/lounge area! The food was good, although very pricey. The bed was comfortable. The hotel was clean - I really liked the 'no carpet' floors. We liked that it was close walking distance to downtown.
The website is misleading..... indicating that the sauna/spa is part of the hotel which it is not. The drinks and food were VERY expensive.
No need to go anywhere, great food & drinks, nice pool, quiet, great stop when on road trip
Stayed here 3 nights to keep away from the usual business/conference hotel attendees. Truly an interesting and affordable find close-in to the center of Flag. Lobby area inviting and hip (yeah, you can tell that from the pics, I know), with rooms that reflect a similar vibe. Don't expect perfection, just enough rough edge to make the place real. Shower volume and pressure amazing, mattresses and partial feather pillows were spot on, amenities like in room coffee and toiletries all great. Nice pool area and ample fire pits. Downside, they charge extra (quite a bit extra) for use of the sauna on top of charging a "resort fee" for your stay, not a huge deal but I opted out of use as it seemed excessive. The bar has some of the most expensive small town cocktails I've ever seen ($20 per, then plus tip you've got a $25 manhattan). Chose to grab a bottle of Maker's locally and pour personal bourbon on the rocks for the room! Ok, I might have wandered down to a firepit with it one evening....
Hip vibe with nice little bar in the lobby. Nice, healthy choices for breakfast in their café. The lawn games and indoor Cameroon are nice for families. Our room was clean, w'll stocked and the beds were very comfy. We had hoped for a heated pool, but it was more of a "cold plunge". The hot tub was large and comfortable. Our favorite thing was sitting around the patio with plenty of fire pits...very cozy ambiance. Least feve was a $50.00 charge to use their sauna...we did not do it because it really should be free.
They charge $50.00 to use the Sauna.
Location.
No restaurant. Heater/cooler was clumsy. Take away the presentation oy the place and it's just an upscale Motel 6.
Location was perfect. Loved the check in check out process on line made it easy and efficient. Comfortable beds nice outside property
Rooms very dark, hard to find switches. Bedding was torn. Bar was expensive
Clean, nice staff

Der Cashbsck für die Kaution, erst nach 30 Tagen. Getränke doppelt so teuer wie im Dorf
Staff was unfriendly. Kids were there for baseball tournament and it seemed like staff did not like. Not a good experience for money spent.
Easy access to rooms, comfortable,

Dog friendly! This place has such a vibe! Moody, chic, cozy. Yes, it’s a remodeled Route 66 Motel and they did it right! The colors, bedding, scents, amenities, lounge are all amazing! My room smelled like heaven when I walked in and it was probably the best sleep I’ve had in this entire trip! Very cozy and comfy. I do think the pet fee is high for what it is, but I take my dog everywhere so I was willing to pay it. Every other place I’ve stayed has charged $50 at most. Would I stay here again? Maybe, but without my dog. The motel isn’t fancy enough to justify $125 pet fee. I saw other reviews state the walls are thin. Not any more thin than any hotel/motel. It wasn’t noisy at all. I am a solo traveler and felt safe here.
We went to Flagstaff to get out of the heat in Scottsdale. This place was awesome and had a very cool vibe. They are part of the same group that owns the La Playa in Carmel. I would definitely stay there again.
Cool mid century modern design
Was missing some cabinet storage in the unit
The pool, patio, and greens are a great way to spend the day just hanging out
The rooms are clearly old with a fresh coat of paint but the doors stick and the bathroom didn't have a fan. There is no closet and the coffee station is in the bathroom.
Nice location. Good facilities. Easy to park.
$125 fee for one night for a small dog is insane, and honestly it’s not right. Food is highly overpriced. I would not stay here again.
Loved the retro yet modern vibe of the property. Great staff. Great food and amenities.
We booked this very last minute for a one night stay in Flagstaff. The prices was extremely reasonable and the decor and amenities blew us away. You can definitely tell that they revamped an older motel, but they did an amazing job and it felt quite luxurious.
There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. I also think that the hot tub was not functioning when we were there.
Cleaniness and aesthetic

Nice place, horrible management. Had a great visit, came back a couple nights later, and still enjoyed the vibe and rooms. This second time the hot tub was out of service. No problem, things come up. But that was one of the core reasons we rebooked. The front desk promised it would be fixed that night. The next morning it was still broken, and we asked to use one of the two saunas in place of the broken promises amenity. They said we could but for $75 for the hour. They came back with a “special offer” of $37.50 for a half hour of sauna use. Keep in mind these saunas were totally empty at the time, we just wanted to go between some form of hot to the frigid cold pool. So due to this truly poor management, our five star experience dropped precipitously. We will strongly reconsider any future rebooking as a result. Makes this place feel cheap, greedy, and unaccommodating. A very simple solution was there and they chose not to take it. Honestly, in scenarios like this, they should just open up the saunas to everyone until it’s fixed. Such stupid management. What they should really do is have the saunas open to all, all the time. Saunas are meant to be social gathering points, not opportunities to squeeze more money out of guests. It makes this place feel elitist and divided, when it should be a place to meet fellow travelers. Such a simple change would drastically improve the vibe here. Then I wouldn’t mind the wildly overpriced $21 breakfast sandwich. But it’s probably venture capital money, so they don’t think of the personal side of things. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
The ambiance, bar, pizza, and location. All staff were friendly and welcoming.
My shower wasn't the best with hot water and my neighbors for 2 nights smoked awful weed.
Sauna & how modern everything is
Awesome motel
I liked the ease of parking near the room.
The choice of Vietnamese pour-over coffee, while trendy, was terrible. The filter bags ripped easily and did not stay in place, resulting in a cup full of grounds.
Almost everything you could want is walkable from the HCML. Value is decent, place is a gentrified, fixer upper and cute. Products (tea, coffee, soap) are premium and a nice touch. Water pressure is exceptional!
Housekeeping let soap run out of shower on our first stay. We never got it filled. Tape player was broken in room. Little things, but kind of large too.
The area was gorgeous and people were delightful.
Nothing
The main hotel building, bars and restaurant were beautiful as were the surroundings
The room was more like a prison cell, with very little light, quite uncomfortable bed and rusty metal cups for coffee 🤮
Besides the fabulous room, the view from the excellent bar is spectacular. We stay every time we are passing through Flagstaff.
It was a beautiful area and the rooms were so comfortable. We are going to book again on our way back through the area.
There is nothing I didn’t like.
I honestly enjoyed the hotel even more than the downtown area—the property itself was so comfortable and well-appointed that I would have been perfectly happy spending my entire stay there. Looking forward to coming back and fully enjoying everything the hotel has to offer next time!
Just loved the vibe, the garden with fire pits, the lounge area and the bar. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. highly recommend!
What a hotel. Just sublime.
Nothing!
Food and beverage quality and service was excellent. Spaces indoors and out for hanging around enjoying foods and beverages were excellent. Room was well appointed, appreciated clean floors/no carpet, the dark color scheme was novel and tranquil. The gear trolley and numerous wall hooks kitted out the space for real actual people and all their stuff! The BNSF line behind the property was not a noise problem in our pool-side room. Guest voices/noises did filter into the room a bit-maybe via ductwork, but surrounding room doors/plumbing/media noises were minimal.
Something for a nightlight in the room would be nice. Maybe we were tired or maybe the signage for the guest restroom is a bit hard to find? We gave up and went back to the room. Maybe one region or in the morning, public area sound system could be softer volume, ease up on the vibe just a touch? The ambient chill hip music sound began to feel a bit inescapable except in the room… (chill oasis- yes please, disneyland- no thank you).
Good location, quirky motel, nicely decorated rooms.
Drinks and food slightly overpriced.
Rooms were nice, loved the no carpet! Beds were comfy too! Enjoyed going to the bar, fire pits and game room.
Wished the bar had been open a little bit later on a Saturday night but I get it:)
I loved the hotel decor vibe, loved the game room, lobby bar, and coffee shop.
The shower curtain smelled strongly of mildew.
The grounds and the room were very clean. Also, the staff is very clean and welcoming.
Wasn’t great was the television I’m a Chromecast didn’t work very well.
