De kamers zijn oud en slecht onderhouden, matig schoongemaakt, overal stickers met waarschuwingen en aanbevelingen. Koffie op de kamer als een zakje met poeder. Dat kan niet wanneer je net als ik €340 voor één nacht hebt betaald. Badkamer slecht onderhouden. De prijs- kwaliteit verhouding is hier totaal uit balans.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026De ligging was perfect! Het oude centrum lag vlak om de hoek. Gezellige terrasjes en lekkere restaurantjes in overvloed en op loopafstand. Het grote winkelcentrum lag ook op slechts 7min wandelen. Parking vlak voor de deur en voor een zeer schappelijke prijs, wij betaalden €15 voor 24u. Moderne tv waarop je kon streamen via chromecast. Ontbijt was prima.
Onze kamer was erg klein en had een vreemde indeling. Airco koelde niet heel erg goed en de badkamer was echt super klein. Net genoeg plek voor 1 persoon. De douche was ook niet super proper. Voor een nachtje was dit uiteindelijk wel te doen. De ligging maakte veel goed. Prijs-kwaliteit vind ik niet helemaal correct. (Zou eerder 3 ipv 4 sterren geven.)

While the lighting in the bathroom itself was excellent, you could not dry your hair there but had to use a gloomy mirror in the hallway. Lackadaisical room cleaning with something always missing: slippers, Towel, coffee capsules etc. Staff seemed unhappy about our simple request to have the extra bed made back into a sofa which we weren’t going to heave ourselves. Just one lift so always a wait.

Reviewed Jul 9, 2026The hotel’s biggest asset is, above all, its location right in the heart of the city, essentially just behind the Grand Place on Rue de la Clef. I really appreciate the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to always be helpful. The rooms are otherwise standard, equipped with a hair dryer and amenities such as an electric kettle and a basic “minibar.” Breakfast offered a relatively wide selection, naturally leaning toward the French style, so expect plenty of croissants and sweet treats, not just pastries. The price per night was more or less in line with the season and the location. I can conclude that I was generally satisfied with my stay and services provided.
Just a minor thing - there could be more vegetables for the breakfast.

Room was a bit awkward and small and cramped with extra furniture. One night the air conditioning wasn't working well and it was very very hot out. The whole place is nice but a little bit tattered around the edges.

Reviewed May 15, 2026J’ai passé un très bon séjour dans cet hôtel, c’est d’ailleurs la deuxième fois que j’y viens et j’apprécie toujours autant son emplacement exceptionnel en plein centre de Lille, à deux pas de la Grand-Place. L’accès est vraiment pratique, aussi bien depuis la gare (environ 10 minutes à pied) qu’en voiture grâce au parking situé juste en dessous de l’hôtel. L’accueil est chaleureux et professionnel, avec une possibilité très pratique de laisser ses bagages en consigne avant le check-in ou après le départ. Les chambres sont agréables, confortables et l’ambiance générale de l’hôtel est très sympathique. Le petit déjeuner est également varié et agréable.
Le seul point un peu plus négatif concerne la propreté de la salle de bain. Lors de ce séjour, la douche ainsi que les toilettes auraient mérité un nettoyage plus approfondi. On remarque aussi que certains joints de douche commencent à fatiguer et qu’un petit rafraîchissement serait bienvenu.

Hôtel vieillissant Personnel vite débordé mais sympathique Un manque de propreté, draps tachés, moisissures dans les salles de bains, peintures tachées et abîmées Problèmes de télécommande avec les tv Clim hs Bref heureusement il ne faisait 40 degrés dehors

De kleine kamer , badkamer, geen handdoeken voor twee personen aanwezig!! Terwijl je een kamer boekt voor twee personen krijg je maar een handdoek. Heel klein krap kamertje mijn man kon amper in de badkamer staan , de prijs kwaliteit verhouding is ver te zoeken.

Reviewed May 4, 2026Central location, multilingual staff, all very friendly and professional. Privilege room very comfortable and well equipped. Ample fresh towels etc daily. Good breakfast.
Lift (elevator) small for size of property and guest numbers.

De airco deed het niet, het was echt heel warm op de kamer waardoor we 2 nachten erg slecht geslapen hadden. En de kamer wasook niet onwijs goed schoon gemaakt

Reviewed Apr 26, 2026Stayed in a "prestige" room here in April 2026. Location is perfect and staff is very friendly. But the rest... Prestige room anything but prestigious with old stained carpets and wallpapers, heavily stained marble floors, shower that looks like that of a psychiatric hospital or a nursing home. Everything showed signs of heavy wear and tear including furniture. Room was hot and a/c was difficult to operate. Breakfast was of Ibis standards. If Mercure does not do better than Ibis in terms of breakfast you are better off paying for Ibis rooms. This hotel needs a complete renovation. You will feel misled by Accor if you stay here and are a loyal Accor customer. Thank god, the staff is really doing its very best. They deserve a praise (and a raise).
