Location. Staff were friendly and approachable
The room. I arrived late and although the room was small it was clean and suitable for what I needed. However the was a generator noise all night which kept me awake. So my sleep was very poor.
Die Bar ist sensationell
Location. Breakfast aircon.
Small bathroom
It was central
Where do I begin: 1. The hotel staff front desk clerk was arrogant and non compliant when checking in, i had given my name, though it was made to seem like i didn’t book at all. 2. The hotel was really outdated and the room which was advertised on booking.com didn’t live up to the pictures as a tourists i would think that the hotel would be upfront about their facilities, if i was the hotel, i’d also be embarrassed at how outdated and dirty the establishment is. 3. I had contacted the hotel (prior) to ensure that my party of 4 adults was always clear so that they could accommodate 4 for a family room, instead the hotel shoved us into a small family room with uncomfortable beds and pillows, we really couldn’t walk in that toom, to top it off , the breakfast buffet I had paid for based on 4 people only allocated for 3 people on their listing , either someone isn’t doing their job or this is just negligence. 4. The floor boards were creaking and didn’t contribute to a great stay, the floor was uneven and the carpet itself was dirty, the windows were broken and the cupboard had chips in its frame. 5. To top it off the hallways are small, and for a big hotel chain or rather big property i would think that logic would prevail for them to upgrade the hotel or even make another lift which fits more than 1 person .
Excellent location, Clean and Friendly.
There are no shelves or stool or place to put anything in the bathroom. There is no mirror in the room, only one in the bathroom. There is also limited cupboard space
Location and air conditioning. The staff were really lovely, very helpful and welcoming (apart from one of the barmen who was a bit rude ) . There’s also a lovely reception area.
The room was a little dated and small but better than most equivalent London Hotels
Geen ontbijt gebruikt. Goede kamers, goede toegankelijkheid, zeer vriendelijk personeel

Pillows and bed were terrible. Pillows too flat. Didn't sleep well whole stay. Plus bed too hard.

Staff were excellent and location ideal for event we were attending
Hotel a bit tired, trek to lift to get to our room, lift very crackly and slow, room was absolutely roasting when we got there
Breakfast included fresh fruit, nuts, interesting bread. The reception staff and restaurant staff were all very good.
On a dark, rainy morning the breakfast room was quite dark (even dismal). Still no device to warm croissants!
Location and breakfast redeemed it.
Where to start. Old, dirty, outdated, noisy, uncomfortable
My room was small but clean. The lotions and soaps were top line.
The steps to get in, not being able to adjust the room temperature, the too small shower.
Excellent location for Royal Albert Hall and across road from Gloucester Rd tube
No lamps or secondary lighting in our room just ceiling light - room dated
Excellent reception staff , breakfast was delightful, excellent poached eggs !
We were upgraded to the suite , which was lovely but smelt old .
The hotel is ideally located for sightseeing in London. It is within walking distance of some of the city’s most famous museums, and Harrods is only one underground stop away. My room was comfortable and good for a short stay in London. It was clean, and I had no concerns at all about the cleanliness of either the room or the hotel. The staff were helpful. The rooms are well equipped, and the bed was comfortable. Compared with other hotels I have stayed at, the bed was a real advantage. It was raining in London and there were umbrellas at the hotel. One of the advantages for me was the location, just a two-minute walk from the underground station. I was travelling alone and felt safe walking back to the hotel even after dark. There is also a supermarket nearby, as well as plenty of restaurants. There are many options for going out for dinner or spending the evening in the area.
The corridors in the hotel are quite narrow but I think that this is specific of the building
Weir on not working during summer time.
Personel güleryüzlü ve yardımseverdi
Odalara ulaşım zor , labirent gibi koridorlardsn geçmek gerekiyor , yerdeki kalın halı bavulları taşımayı zorlaştırıyor
Good public transport. It's a short walk to several Museums - I chose the Science Museum and the V&A. Also a short walk to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. And thank you to Janice in Reception who looked after my complicated query.
Everything fine.
Great location, staff were friendly and the restaurant attached to the hotel is really great!
Poor air ventilation in the rooms. We had the AC on full blast and the room was still very hot.
The location is perfect. Center of Kensington, just close to the park and historic monuments.
Very small rooms, old facilities.
The staff were very friendly, especially with my son.
The rooms were dusty, the carpet was coming away at the sides and leaving bits all over the floor (making me think it wasnt hoovered before our arrival), i tried 3 sockets before i found one that works, the air con didnt work and the bed was uncomfotable. The matress was too small for the bed frame, resulting in a few bumps to our legs when walking around the room. It was also hard to lean over the bath and put the shower on due to the wall, youd have to stand in the bath to put it on and be hit with cold water as it starts. There were dirty glasses left in the hallway for the two nights we were there. Wet towels were rolled back up and put on the shelf, not replaced with clean ones despite there being no signage to say towels arent replaced daily. If id have known id have hung the towels to dry and they were still damp that night from being rolled up when wet. Wallpaper was peeling in the corridors. The staff were so friendly, i felt i couldnt complain so i cant comment on how any of these issues would have been resolved but given both rooms we had suffered the same issues i doubted a move tona new room would help. The other room in our booking had a wet carpet near a window that wouldnt close because the hose of a dehumdifier was sticking out it.
The location is exceptional
Location was excellent. Room was big enough, and cleaned on a daily basis.
Extra bed was not very comfortable as well as the pillow.
Staff were amazing and helpful from check-in to check-out.. Great location
Windows didn't keep the traffic noise out
Well placed, lovely older style, pleasant staff, good restaurant
Nil
the room was not in the main floor, it was after a small stair...
Lovely area, everything you need.
Our room wasnt ready. Checking in early but would have been great to go straight to a room More towels would have been nice
The hotel is in a good location for seeing the city being that here are convenient underground lines near the hotel. The restaurant was a very good option for dinner. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was clean and comfortable but obviously older so that was a bit dissapointing. It needs updating.
The main advantage of the hotel is its location. I was travelling for business, and the hotel is conveniently located close to the university and public transport, including the Underground.
Unfortunately, my overall experience at this hotel was disappointing. I booked my room approximately six months in advance, so I was very surprised to discover upon arrival that the room I had booked, based on the description and photos shown on Booking.com, was not available. As a result, I had to wait two days before I could finally move into the room I had originally expected to receive. To be fair, the hotel acknowledged the issue and eventually refunded me the cost of one night, which I appreciate. However, I still find it strange and unacceptable that a reservation made so far in advance could not be honoured properly. I also had to spend additional time dealing with the issue and changing rooms during a business trip, which caused unnecessary inconvenience. Another important issue is that the internal telephones in the rooms were not working. This is not only inconvenient but also raises a safety concern: if a guest needs urgent assistance, there should be a reliable way to contact reception or hotel staff from the room. The hotel itself feels quite worn and, in my opinion, is in need of renovation. The overall level of cleanliness was also below what I would expect from a Radisson Blu property. Breakfast was another disappointment. The selection was rather limited and heavily focused on a traditional English breakfast. For a short stay this may be acceptable, but for someone staying for a longer period, eating essentially the same type of breakfast every morning becomes quite difficult. Finally, I was disappointed with the way the situation was handled. Although the hotel eventually provided compensation, I did not feel much empathy or genuine concern from the staff regarding the inconvenience caused. I had to repeatedly follow up myself to resolve the room issue, and during two days I had to return to the hotel and deal with moving between rooms instead of simply focusing on my business trip.
The hotel is in a great location for exploring. It was clean, comfortable and good value for money
Rude staff at the reception and I ended up not staying
Rude staff
Location perfect for the Albert Hall and underground. Decent restaurants around as well.
Room was quite small and would have liked a fridge.

The room was very bad, right next to the staircase where you can hear everything. The staff isn’t very friendly. I asked for help with suitcases as there is no elevator, they ignored me and laughed. The house keeping never changed my sheets for 10 days of stay and if I don’t go to the reception and tell me myself that I need the room to be cleaned, they don’t clean.
Excellent location and very professional and friendly staff. I was upgraded and given a free drink at the bar which was a lovely surprise. The bed is so comfortable and the room was bigger than a standard single room.. the hotel is a short walk away from the National History Museum and across the road from the tube station and supermarkets. I’d definitely recommend it.
None for my short stay but if I stayed longer I’d prefer having tea and coffee in the room, water bottles, a TV. A plug next to my bed. The hotel would also benefit from new carpet or updated floors.
Very near the underground. Great location. Clean and very friendly helpful staff
Emplacement, confort . Petit déjeuner varié, personnel agréable
Rien à signaler
It is very clean and tidy. Really friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are nice and it is very well priced. The area is really good.

Staff and breakfast was wonderful
Loft is small but fine
The location is perfect for all connections in London. There is a nice lobby and a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast was tasty, however all the same choice every day. The room and the bathroom were very clean.
We had a twin room and it was really too small for two people and their luggage. The beds are rather narrow. The hotel offers several preordered arrangements which is nice. But our bottle of wine upon arrival was not there 🙁
Location is amazing, and rooms are clean. Staff is helpful and efficient
Lift is tiny. It fits two people, and the stairs and corridors are like a maze. The building and rooms and furniture are old as hell.
Location is perfect for getting about
Rooms are a bit small and dated
The location was good for the things we wanted to do in London. Very close to the tube station.
The corridors and stair cases were shabby. The carpets were very worn and need replacing.
Rooms were a good size. Breakfast was amazing. Free sweets in reception. Refreshments and biscuits in the room.
My son didn’t like the fly painting in the urinals on the ground floor.
Very convenient location across the road from the Gloucester Road tube station, very comfortable bedding
Took a while for hot water to get going, aspects including flooring are very dated
Location
Room was like a sauna, aircon didn’t work properly and was very loud and the bed was so uneven, couldn’t sleep properly! And the staff at checkout didn’t offer any solution or refund at all. Showed zero interest.
Location, affordable and helpful staff
Nothing
This is our third time staying at the property. For us you can’t beat this location. Not too far from Heathrow but completely immersed in all that South Kensington has to offer and just across the road from Gloucester Road tube station which is on the Piccadilly line. Straight and fast access into the centre of everything. The staff here are fantastic. Nothing is any trouble. We even got an early check in this time. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel on this visit on 3 of the mornings and it was beautiful and fresh and plentiful. My daughter has coeliac disease and the staff were very accommodating. 5 stars
The rooms I believe are being refurbished bit by bit. Our room is always very similar and quite dated as are the corridors but everything is spotlessly clean and the beds are very comfortable. I’m looking forward to maybe seeing more updates on our next visit.

Great location
I had to change my room as there were 2 massive I think air conditioning machines right outside my window . Got my room changed and there was still one air conditioning unit right outside my window. Like Sleeping in a jumbo jet airplane every night. Didn’t sleep very well at all .
Breakfast is always really good here and customer service is also. This is one of my favourite hotels for a short stay in London. This hotel also offers single rooms which are great for solo travellers.
The hotel needs a bit of an upgrade in areas. The interiors look old and warn as if in need of a renovation.
Good location. Clean and very nice staff
Suited us fine.
Location is good, the neighborhood was calm. The AC was so good during the hot weather.
The room was so small. I struggled moving around and opening my luggage.
I slept really well.
Please don't leave breakfast menus on tables which are not included in the buffet breakfast.
The staff
Very small bathroom
Great location
Lift was a bit far from reception with lots of conners
The staff were all so kind and welcoming! The hotel room was comfy and perfect for the stay
Beautiful location. Staff excellent
Room very dated and old fashioned. Did not match price.
Good location, pleasant and helpful flat. comfortable bed and good quality bedding. room was very quiet.
the size and layout of the room. Oversized TV perched on the only table/counter space. small bathroom so tight your knees touched the wall when using the toilet (and we are small ladies!). tired furniture
Notified that I would receive a refund for a very noisy nights stay- this has never arrived.
Excellent location.
Service, cleaning, fresh juices and ice tea in lobby is definitely great idea! We loved it! Breakefast were great

I stayed for a one night , the team was great and helpful, The room was clean and everything was perfect

Room was quiet

The location is amazing! Breakfast is also good. Staff is friendly & helpful
The interior is a bit dated and the room felt in need of refresh
The staff were very kind and helpful. We were there for a month and they did so much to make us feel comfortable. The location is great,; right next to a lot of the best tourist places in London.
The breakfast menu is the exact same. Don't get me wrong. It was good. Just that it's fine for a week but for 4 weeks, it was overkill.
Location
Distance from reception to my room
Staff were amazing. Lots of attention to detail and added extras for a returning guest
Tea and coffee facilities were average at best.
The staff were excellent. The room was good and the bed was extremely comfortable.
We had to wait 30 minutes past our check in time for the room to be ready which was not the level of service we’d expect from Radisson. However we were compensated.
Great location, nice bars and restaurants near by very relaxed easy to walk to a lot of attractions loved it
Rooms a little tired but clean so it was not a big issue
The location was good, good double glazing led to quiet room. Comfortable pillows. Lived the iced drinks, apples, sweets etc. available in reception. The restaurant was very good, as were the staff.
No hot water for the shower, and the room did smell a bit musty.
Location and staff
Not much
I arrived from Yorkshire before check in time and was intending to leave my bag so that I could grab some lunch. However, my room was ready and I was able to check in early at no extra cost! After a long journey on a very hot day, this was very much appreciated. As a single traveller, I was also delighted to find that I had been upgraded. I loved my room! It was at the back of the hotel, between staircase landings, and was extremely comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
Location - welcome
Room a little quirky
Great location. Lovely Room. Nice to have a bar open late, even if it’s just a night porter.
It’s a bit of a rabbit warren. I don’t mind the lack of lifts and using stairs but then weaving.
Comfortable bed
Room looked tired in places, surfaces dusty, ceiling lighting had fallen out ceiling. Locating to bed rooms was confusing through so many doors and stairs.
Nice lobby and breakfast, nice historical building
Unfriendly staff and terribly noisy rooms, it was not possible to sleep. I have been to many Radisson hotels before, but this was the worst ever
Staff were attentive, location was perfect for the Royal Albert Hall , Gloucester Road tube and area and the breakfast was a good standard.
The rooms are a little tired and dated Comfortable and clean, but not great.
Location and staff very pleasant.
No glasses, or tea or coffee in the room..
Location excellent for the Royal Albert Hall and V&A museum Check in excellent and staff very friendly. Breakfast excellent
Location Comfy beds Water station for free , life saver in summer with kids Elevator
Small bathrooms Not cleaned well No luggage stand Step over bath shower Stairs into reception
Great location, staff very helpful and very friendly
Bathroom was tiny. Very difficult to turn around in
Housekeeping, cleaning was very good
The infrastructural degeneration of this hotel is sad to see. It was once my go to hotel for personal trips to London, but based on deterioration in last couple of years that will not be the case in future.
Location and facilities within the hotel
Our room had a funny smell, but was spacious enough and well equipped. Carpet looked like it was due for a replacement in places.
The breakfast was exceptional quality.

What guests love
Areas to consider
Cleanliness
6.1/10Mixed reports: several guests praised very clean rooms and bathrooms, but there are strong negative reports (filthy room, stained towel, smells and worn carpets). Overall inconsistent housekeeping quality.
Service
8.6/10Predominantly positive: multiple mentions of friendly, helpful and attentive staff (including restaurant hosts). One safety/communication lapse noted, but overall staff performance is a strong point and has been weighted up to offset weaker categories.
Location
9.2/10Consistently praised: repeatedly described as excellent/very central (close to Gloucester Road, museums, Royal Albert Hall). Location is a clear standout.
Room Quality
5.6/10Several complaints about very small rooms, awkward layouts, dated decor, unpleasant wardrobe odours and some maintenance issues; a few guests found rooms comfortable but overall room quality is below expectation.
Amenities
7.3/10Mixed but largely adequate: decent breakfast options, useful extras (umbrellas, bar), but practical issues noted (poor plug placement, limited room facilities). Overall average for the hotel tier.
Value for Money
6.4/10Mixed impressions: some guests felt it was good value, others thought rooms were overpriced given size/quality. Resolved towel issue and occasional good deals at check-in noted.
Food and Beverage
8/10Generally positive: several mentions of a good and varied breakfast and attentive restaurant hosts; bar described as nice. Food and service at F&B outlets are a relative strength.
Overall Experience
7.2/10Aggregate impression is mixed: excellent location and service lift the experience, but small/dated rooms, occasional cleanliness and maintenance problems reduce overall satisfaction. The combined effect yields a slightly above-average stay for many guests.
A Grade II listed building blends classic architecture with contemporary comforts for a refined stay.
Walk to the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum, with Gloucester Road and South Kensington stations nearby.
All sampled rooms feature a minibar, coffee/tea maker, TV, and air conditioning for convenient stays.
