Nous avions un appartement avec tout le nécessaire pour y cuisiner. Les accessoires étaient plutôt propres. La proximité avec les lieux touristiques était apprécié. Les membres du personnel d'entretien étaient bienveillants.

No breakfast. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

No notice showing us how to put on air conditioner The light in bathroom did not work properly.

Our room had a musty smell. I think it came from the chest of drawers. As well the bathroom window didn’t open

The bed was very comfortable. Location was very central.

The tv didn’t work properly. If it had it was in a bad spot for watching when in bed. Maintenance was lacking on the property.

The front office staff were exceptional during check-in. Mobility issues were dealt with efficiently and satisfactorily.

Check out time was a little early (10 am).

The rooms were good size and very clean, beds comfortable, great location.

Air Conditioner was disgusting, it was dirty and it looked like it was never cleaned and we couldn't use it. There were alot of dead bugs around the sink. The pool was not available when they said it would be. I won't go back.

The room needed a complete update, floor board uneven, needed paint , overall I did not feel comfortable in the room.

The only advantage of this motel is its very convenient location, close to the beach and all the main tourist attractions. The staff member at the reception was very friendly and helpful. He gave us detailed information about where it was convenient to buy groceries, what interesting places to visit, and provided a lot of useful recommendations. This slightly improved our overall impression of the motel.

The room is extremely small for four people, even though it is advertised as a luxury room. The price is far too high for what is offered. It is difficult for even two people to move around comfortably in the room. Everything is in serious need of renovation. There was old reddish buildup around the bathroom sink. We found other people’s hair on the pillows and towels. There was sand or something similar, with small black particles, on the bedsheet. Our neighbors were smoking cannabis, and the smoke was coming into our room, which even caused the alarm in our room to go off.

Just about everything. When you went to go to the office there were rusty nails sticking up where post caps should be. Forget to get a picture of that. Both the fridges didn't work. We got up the next morning with all our food soaked with water. People next door left early because of all the earwigs. I felt something crawling on me all night. In our daughters room there were no curtains on one of the windows and her food and drink and clothes had earwigs in them. When I walked into the tub it crunched under my feet didn't know it was safe or not to stand in for a low water pressure shower. Pool was a lot smaller than we expected, especially with all the people staying there. It got really crowded at times. No coffee packs in either room even though we had coffee perks and filters in both rooms. WOULD NEVER SUGGEST ANYONE STAY THERE.

Where our room was situated. Had to climb two sets of stairs wich my wife had a hard time to climb, staff wasn’t helpfull about finding anther room to accommodate us. Door knob on the main entrance was loose, door in bathroom wasn’t closing, no fan in the bathroom.

It has air conditioning

When we arrived the rooms had some big black bug that looked like a beetle. We killed them and then left for the day. When we returned we again found more and this time in our beds. This is not acceptable for a hotel that charged 500 a night. The electrical outlets were not up to standard as if you touched the tv cord the whole outlet didn't work.

It’s a lot better than some of the reviews make you believe. Room was cozy and AC was good. Absolutely 0 issues. Would recommend.

I liked the location as it was near to everything we wanted to do but there are other motels and hotel in vicinity. Staff was good and they did change air condition.

Ohh there were so many things not to like... its a run down place. I was seeing insects everywhere in the room, bathrooms. We were constantly having issues with Air condition. Out of 3 nights we stayed 1 night with any air condition in room it was really hot. So, I am not going to stay there again.

Overall, our stay at Anne Shirley Motel & Cottages was a major disappointment, mostly due to poor cleanliness, outdated facilities, and a severe lack of management. The couch and chair in our cottage smelled absolutely atrocious. To make matters worse, the couch is a sofa bed, meaning the person sleeping there was stuck breathing in that awful smell all night. The entire place felt old and unkempt. Everything from the shower and the kitchen sink to the general furniture has seen much better days and desperately needs to be updated or deep-cleaned. It seems like the staff is operating without an on-site supervisor, which created huge gaps in service and accountability. Their own policy states daily housekeeping, but we went almost our entire 4-night stay without it. One morning, we explicitly asked a cleaner if our cottage would be serviced and he assured us it would be. We returned at 7:00 PM to find nothing done—trash overflowing, beds unmade, floors unwashed, and no clean towels. We had to track down our own towels at the front desk late in the Management needs to step up, replace that foul-smelling furniture, and properly supervise their staff. I would not recommend staying here until these issues are addressed.

did not stay at this hotel , went to check in , people were nice , checked the room out before we checked in , bathroom was dirty , roomed smelled like a musty old wet blanket , air conditioner did not work , property and building very run down. im not a fussy person but id rather lose the $200 plus money then stay there.

Chaise extérieure déchirée. Rideaux ne ferment pas en entier. Porte d'entrée rouillée. Aucune réception et personne joignable en cas de problème. Aucune réponse aux e mails envoyés suite aux soucis rencontrés.

I asked for fragrance free bedding and towels, because of allergies. My request was ignored. The fridge had a great deal of mold in it. I booked a room with a kitchenette but when I arrived he said because of construction I couldn’t have a room with a kitchenette. The room I received had two small holes in the wall where the fire extinguisher was. There was also 4 patch repairs that were not painted. Very disappointed! $144.00 including tax, per night!

It’s been almost a year since we stay here for a few nights and I’m STILL thinking about how bad it was. Just warning others, anywhere else is better. Try venturing out to the neighbouring community North Rustico. It just feels like day and night. A highlight of our stay was the very loud mouse family in the wall near the headboards that would be especially loud at nighttime!

Very dirt outside stairs to second floor where discussing and very dirty very noisy from other gusts talking loud and running up and down the stairs all night. No pool service or hot tub location was not told and staff left door unlocked when came in just to change garbage no towels changed till day before left. Asked for easy entrance to room was told couldn’t happen and was placed on second floor next to the stairs

A little dated, as all are in that area, but clean. Easy parking and near everything. Love the fact that somebody called me to let me know about checking in when I didn't arrive before the office closed, much appreciated!

it was a great stay

The motel is a simple holiday place. It’s not luxurious, but that is not to be expected. We were cosy and happy there. The beds were extremely comfortable and everything we needed was there. I didn’t know our little motel was literally 100 steps away from why we went to PEI. It was such a dream to be able to walk to Maud’s place and Green Gables. My daughter and I had a glorious stay.

Great central location. Small bedroom small bed but it worked lol. Kitchen well equipped for 4 people. Living room/eating area good size. Bathroom with shower stall (a little small) sink & toilet. Very clean.

We had a wonderful time. Just what we wanted. Affordable price and peaceful.

The house keeping never made beds or swept floors once for us and we were there for 4 days. We had to ask for more towels. We had poor intermittent wifi in our room.

They were closed for renovations. Called two days before we were to leave on vacation. Said they had upgraded ud to another business. Green Gables cabins. It was not a up grade. The door had no handle but they put a small eyebolt so you could oprn the door. The bedroom was so small the bed just fit in the room. There wasn't even room for our luggage. We had to put them on he dinning room chair infront of the old style 19 inch TV.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. The only thing I would suggest would be to repaint the parking lines as it's hard to see the faded lines at night.

Our stay was not too bad.We enjoyed our stay.Our room was clean however the main house where the office is located needs some TLC .It needs to be brought up to standard as there was garbage in the back of the office which was facing our room and didn't look very good.Eventully it was cleaned up .We had stayed there many years ago and was in much better condition.Overall we did have a nice stay .

There were lots of vacant rooms but they stuck us in an upstairs room that the a/c wouldn’t cool the room, everything was extremely outdated and needs major renovations. Windows and screens 50 years old. I could see around the heating pipes into the unit below. Deck hasn’t seen paint in 20 years. For what we got it was overpriced by $ 100 per night. Pretty convenient that the office is closed and checkout is drop key in a box, know one to voicemail concerns with.

This is. 1.5 star property. We had a two bed room, and one of the beds had a lean to it so you could barely lay flat. Not to mention it was very uncomfortable. The shower had wood trim that was showing signs of moulding and the unit directly beside us (sharing a wall) was under construction so we heard banging etc., which we were not told about. They also had several parking spots blocked off so many families had to park a distance away. This should have been communicated. We also requested the room be turned over during our stay, and the housekeeper took the garbage and did nothing else. Same sheets, no new towels, not even a sweep of the floor. It was gross.

The pool was nice and the location was great

The stairs to the second floor were a little sketchy. The air conditioning did not work, and the TV kept turning on by itself. We had to unplug it. Also there were 2 holes in the floor that allowed you to see all the way to the suite underneath

Nice place and very convenient to everywhere in Cavendish, room is clean, staff is super friendly and helpful. I noticed they are doing renovation in some rooms, good for others but me, lol. The new pool is amazing for my family. Recommend!

The washroom was very small. The outside BBQ area was very dirty with garbage all over the ground. Have some bites on my feet that I'm hoping are not bed bugs. Very expensive for what I got.

I have been going there for over 7 years and so much has gone downhill needs a huge upgrade

Way overpriced and needs a good update, it’s a great location and could have wonderful potential. Beds are comfortable but you will find yourself not wanting to spend time in your room . We stayed on the 2nd floor of the motel maybe there is better rooms ?

No food options are available at the motel but lots of restaurants around the vicinity. Beds were ok. No coffee available in the room either. Internet access was good. Place needs a lot of work repairs to be done. This is our second time staying here and the conditions have gotten worse! Cost me almost $1000 for three nights and will definitely not be returning!

I didn't like the fact that we went out one evening and the staff came into put fresh towels and linen in the room but left our room door wide open, we checked around and didn't find any thing missing but it was still upsetting.

The room was okay, but is in definite need of upgrading, especially the bathroom. The wifi was terrible and the staff was not available in the evening or morning.

It appears there are new-ish owners who are really trying to bring this property to life. Although most of the property is “old” it was very very clean and they had lots of workers renovating. There was also a new pool. And there is no longer a hot tub. My children loved the play area. I’ll be excited to see this place in another year or two. Also loved that our accommodation was like a little two bedroom apartment. So convenient!

Okay I’m going to start with the positives- this is in a great location! Very close to all the water parks, amusement parks, restaurants: basically everything you want to be close to! The pool seemed to be brand new so we really enjoyed that. That’s honestly where it ends. The exterior of the rooms are very outdated paint chipping. The room inside definitely requires some updates. It’s very outdated, tv doesn’t get many channels, the curtains were broken in our room so a lot of sun came through, the light in the bathroom wasn’t working, some interior updates like lighting, furniture, bedding, etc could definitely help with this establishment! The worst part was that we saw several earwigs when we were showering or using the bathroom. The playground area was also extremely outdated. Lots of pieces missing, wobbly and just in poor condition. The staff were great and friendly. Overall, great location but some major updates would help!

Mouldy smell, small bathroom, uncertain water temperature control. Good location. Couldn’t use the pool because the hours of operation were not convenient. AC worked.

The staff are very friendly and come each night to see if we needed more towels etc. The room was very clean. The property is very outdated and in need of paint and repair outside. Staying in Cavendish it's close to everything. A Tim Horton's and Petro Canada are next door which was nice.
