Good location, helpful staff.
Wet carpet, nothing done about it until the next day when a very helpful young lady named Kiana behind the front desk, got us into a different room. In general, the property looks a little rundown, dirty walls, worn paint, tired furniture in the bar and lounge area.
The location
Great location for a variety of dining options (pizza, tacos,Italian etc) all located within a few blocks from each other. I found a delicious taco place about 2 blocks away and for dinner I had Nancys pizza which is just a straight walk down the street you cant miss it. Clean, enjoyable rooms and some have a kitchenette. There is also a pool and gym as well as free breakfast in the morning (pretty good breakfast btw). Inside the rooms are relatively quiet and the hotel is not on a crowded street.
The room with a kitchenette was a bit small but still enjoyable. The kitchenette room is best for 2-4 people max. You can stream services like Netflix etc by syncing your phone with the tv but it would be very convenient if the hotel simply had streaming services already loaded onto the tv,not having to sync your phone to it.
I love the views from my room was close to food & night life is enjoyed my stay!

The hotel service was excellent. The breakfast included was stellar.

We enjoyed staying in this place. It’s very clean & comfortable. Just minutes away from tourist spot. Perfect for family too it’s spacious.
Nothing. We like everything here.
Sehr gute Lage.
Clean and friendly staff

Close proximity to restaurants/bars, United Center, train station. The room had many amenities. Staff was so friendly and helpful.
Bed wasn’t as comfortable as I had hoped, but fine for a night!
Apartament był, duży, wygodny, dobrze wyposażony. Spokojna i bezpieczna okolica.

Really clean and nice staff
Too much $ and breakfast was poor quality
Location was great. Quiet neighborhood with accessibility to downtown.
Breakfast was okay, but fairly good given it was complimentary.
The room was very comfortable and spacious and the views of the city were fabulous!!
I found out that we could have parked our car ourselves and not paid as much to Vallet.
Everything besides the price
The price
Very nice hotel overall.
The bed was uncomfortable. I think the mattress needs replaced. The pillows had very little support also. That's my only complaint.
Clean, friendly staff, breakfast was good! Room was very nice
Not there long enough to notice anything particularly
The location of the hotel was amazing! We were able to take the train and walk to everywhere we wanted to go! Staff was kind and helpful! Breakfast was delicious!
Cleanness
Breakfast end at 9am and housekeeping never cleaned my room during my 3 night stay
I liked all the aplyances in the suits
The lights kept shutting off in the bedroom after about 30 minutes
Conveniently located and nice and clean. Great friendly atmosphere.
location, the 3rd floor lobby, the rooftop, and The Pancake House being downstairs
the $72/ night parking and the breakfast- but The Pancake House being downstairs make up for the breakfast on the 3rd floor
Overall a good stay as the hotel is in a good location near restaurants and music venue. The valet process is not great, requiring multiple trips upstairs to main desk. When getting car out of valet parking, phone number is central dispatch not in hotel and is inefficient. Could do better on breakfast.
The room was spacious and quiet
We didnt get to enjoy the pool due to an event that was going on until 8 and the parking as well but overall everything was perfect.
We requested extra towels and they were promptly brought to us. We also requested a luggage cart for check out. It was also promptly brought to us. The hotel attendant was helpful to answers our questions on Thursday evening. (I did not catch his name. Very friendly and willing to assist!
Thin walls. We heard other guests coming/going at various times including the middle of the night so 3 of the 4 of us did not sleep well!
Amazing place to stay! rooms are perfect and the staff is amazing! the lounge on the top floor is perfect for chilling for the evening with a nice view of Chicago skyline
Location
Rude guy at check in, bins in hallway all the time blocking our door and rate higher than quoted on booking.com
I loved the apartment vibe—it felt like we were true Chicagoans rather than visitors! The hotel was conveniently located and we loved exploring this more authentic side of the city after always staying right next to the river in the past. The unit was cozy and well-designed, especially the bathroom and closet area, to get the most benefit and storage with the space available. This is now our default spot for all future Chicago trips!
No complaints!
Our experience started on a positive note, as the entrance staff and front desk team were friendly, welcoming, and made check-in easy. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and had a great view. Unfortunately, our stay was impacted by a maintenance issue. The toilet in our room would not flush. It wasn’t clogged, but it was clearly not functioning properly. Since we had plans shortly after checking in, we weren’t able to report the issue until we returned later that night. When we contacted the front desk, we were disappointed with the response. A staff member brought us a plunger, even though the issue was not a clog, and there was no attempt to have maintenance inspect the toilet or offer us a different room. We expected the hotel to take a more proactive approach to resolving the problem rather than leaving us to deal with it ourselves. While the room and the hospitality at check-in were excellent, the lack of assistance with a significant maintenance issue left us disappointed and negatively affected an otherwise enjoyable stay.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was disappointing. I specifically booked a Queen Suite with two queen beds, a kitchen, and a high-floor location. Instead, I was given a Queen Den with only a microwave—a significantly different room than what I reserved. What made the experience worse was the lack of customer service. At check-in, the front desk employee was dismissive, and when I later asked about a rate adjustment because I wasn't given the room I booked, I was simply told that a note would be left for the manager. There was no attempt to address the issue or offer any resolution. I followed up again and spoke with a different front desk employee, who told me they could not issue a refund because I booked through a third-party website. However, I did not pay through a third party—the hotel itself charged my credit card and is responsible for the transaction. Additionally, no one from the hotel ever attempted to contact me regarding the issue. Mistakes happen, and I understand rooms sometimes need to be reassigned. What matters is how those situations are handled. In this case, I paid for a higher-category room, received a lower-category room, and felt my concerns were met with indifference. I expected much better service and communication, especially given the price of the stay. The location is cool, though.
Location
Tooo expensive
Staff is beyond. Lost my wallet and wouldn’t let me check in.. spent 5 hours on the phone with world of Hyatt. World of Hyatt kept transferring to the front desk. I then had to spend 4 hours backtracking my day. I finally get my wallet back. Pull up and the Valet at 1am screams at me when I told it was self park … by World of Hyatt. The following day I extend and I get asked for my ID again. Ok. “POLICY” that property management group is beyond.
The location was great and Chris the general manager was so friendly and welcoming. He made a big difference in my experience. I loved the ease of check out and the breakfast was really good and had a variety of items. We stayed in a suite with a kitchen that was well stocked.
The check in process for me and my second guest was challenging having booked through Booking.com. I tried to have my friend check us in while I parked and the card wouldn’t go through and they wouldn’t let her check in. Once I was there I had to insert the card. Apparently my communication via Booking.com also didn’t reach the hotel at all either as the third party communication is lacking.
The location in West Loop / Fulton Market is great and convenient. Hotel room was clean and comfortable, and staff was friendly.
Kitchenette with appliances
Everything was great no complaints
Everything we needed. Most staff were awesome. Valet guys super great. Room was big and comfy.
The ‘pantry’ to buy water/pop and other goods had a kiosk. It wouldn’t accept my room # so I asked the front desk and she literally could not charge waters to my room. She said it was a third party thing? So if the kiosk doesn’t work I guess you get nothing. Lol you should be able to charge waters or anything else to your room easily. Also, ground floor elevator area was a bit a mess. Empty and uninviting. Would suggest more comfy places to sit while you wait for your valet or the elevator (which was very slow always). Not a big deal…we would stay again. The goods outweighed that bad.👍
So I waited to see if the hotel cleaning service was going to make any attempt to locate my items left behind before I left a review, but since I recieved no response whatsoever from the website they referred me to I have no problem detailing the experience I had. The cleaning service was sub-par at best, I personally don’t even request service all the time when staying for a month as I was, but I do appreciate my coffee being replaced , which almost never happened without me having to call the front desk. I was left a note by ‘Shantria’ who was cleaning my room that detailed she was accepting tips for her service. I am not used to tipping the cleaning people, and since I hardly requested cleaning I did not feel the need to give extra money for doing their job. Apparently this constituted the cleaning lady aiming the shower head out the shower so it sprayed whoever turned it on in the face or all over the toilet and floor of the shower. Very clever , and totally uncalled for petty move on the cleaning ladies part. Very clear it was done deliberately , in fact my colleague also slaying in the hotel dealing with the same cleaning lady had the exact same thing happen to them. Besides basically being harassed by the cleaning team and getting almost nothing replenished in the room the hotel was fair to ok. Even though the valet severely damaged the rental vehicle on one occasion, they were pretty nice overall.
Tamanho
A lava louças estava quebrada com uma placa desde meu check in
Nice size rooms and loved the sitting area/kitchenette size. Nice outdoor roof deck.
Breakfast was ok, but very happy to have it regardless. The scrambled eggs were funny - were they powdered by any chance? The oatmeal was excellent! All the meat seemed to be turkey based, that was yuck. The coffee was very good. The breakfast staff were very attentive and very friendly.
I didn't like the scrambled egg consistency or the turkey breakfast meat. Everything else was super!
A recepção fica n 3o andar, no térreo dá acesso apenas aos elevadores, mas sempre tem pessoas disponíveis e dispostas a auxiliar. Acomodação limpa, confortável e de bom tamanho e ótimo atendimento da equipe.
My stay at Hyatt House Chicago West Loop Fulton market was outstanding from start to finish. Teh exceptional service began the moment I arrived, when a valet greeted me immediately, assisted with my luggage, escorted me to the front desk, and even brought me water after my long drive. The hotel is perfectly located in the Fulton Market District and within walking distance of my conference at Morgan Manufacturing. My room was spacious, quiet, spotless, and offered plenty of workspace along with a great city view. While the price was on the higher side, the service, atmosphere, and location made it worthwhile. I did ask for a replenishment of the water and coffee in my room, which was there when I returned from a long meeting. I would definitely stay here again.
Great location
Scratchy towels, no linens provided for the pull-out couch. Very disappointing for the price.
The room was amazing and the location was very convenient to walk everywhere we wanted to go.
Front staff very friendly and very helpful
Front desk staff is so friendly and helpful. They attended to my needs constantly throughout my 6-day stay. You can feel the warmth and kindness of the people. I also like the location which is in the center of West Loop and such a walkable and beautiful neighborhood. (I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that they're right above The Original Pancake House.)
Spacious and clean suite. Nice lounge and breakfast area. Parking is quite expensive but you can park in the parking ram nearby. We would come back.
I liked the location, it suited our needs. We were comfortable in our room and I’d rate it 8.8 for sure. We like the walkable area of west loop.
Breakfast nicely laid out and better than alot of hotels but is good basic which is okay.
The service - from the cheery valet guy at the front door to the reception staff and friendly bar staff, we were made to feel so at home/
the early breakfasts.... thats our bad though!
I recently stayed at the Hyatt House Chicago / West Loop-Fulton Market during a conference trip. While the hotel itself was comfortable and conveniently located, I unfortunately had a disappointing experience with housekeeping and customer service. When I returned to my room one evening, I noticed that a paper bag was missing from the desk. It contained a gift I had purchased for my daughter, along with some conference papers and receipts. The room had been serviced earlier that day, and the housekeeper had left a card with her name on it. Although the missing items were not of major monetary value, it was upsetting because I had no opportunity to replace the gift before my early morning checkout the next day. I immediately reported the issue to the front desk and provided the housekeeping card. I was assured they would follow up with housekeeping and contact me if the items were found so they could be shipped to me. At checkout the following morning, another front desk associate again took my contact information and promised an update. Unfortunately, I never received any follow-up communication. I later called the hotel multiple times and was eventually advised to email the manager, which I did, including a separate message to the guest services manager. To date, I have received no response. What has been most frustrating is not just the missing item itself, but the complete lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through from hotel management. I expected much better customer service from a Hyatt property.
Location and room was really nice
Didn’t care for the breakfast but overall a nice stay.
The hotel room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Service was very prompt, friendly and helpful. Security is excellent.
The location was perfect, and the staff was incredibly friendly!
The description was misleading, as it was billed as two bedrooms, but both beds were in the same room with a four foot wall partition.
The breakfast was nice, they even had gluten free options. The location is great.
There was no blanket for the couch bed, just a sheet, we had to ask 3 times before one was delivered. no housekeeping to replenish towels. (2 night stay)
Very clean property and an outstanding staff. Excellent food and beverage options and a location that was very convenient location.
The area is very nice The employees were very nice and answered every question and the room was very clean and everything
there’s nothing i didn’t like.
Great!
NA
Great location with restaurants and night life within walking distance. Street parking is limited but available if you pay. There is a garage that has limited space (first come first serve for $68/night on weekends). A Original Pancake House is under construction on the street level which will be fantastic for future hotel guests!
The room, the pool, the staff, valet parking, food. Everything
The price on the liquor
Great location. Rooms are nice, lobby/bar area nice. Lots of amenities on-site.
Valet and elevators are slow.
Nice an clean
Every thing was perfect!
Excellent Hotel in the heart of the West Loop. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff is very professional and friendly.
Very clean, comfortable, and spacious! Great hospitality and the breakfast was great.
Friendly staff
No pictures or paintings on the walls in the bedroom area
Location was great. We could walk to all the places we wanted to. We had a great view of the city from our room. Clean comfortable room and beds. Big roomy bathroom

We absolutely love this hotel - it was more apartment complex, great breakfast, pool was nice, great gym and walkable distance to our event (NHL game). We will be back!!
Disgusting experience! My son was sleeping on the sofa bed. Third night he spilled water so I stripped the bed. The mattress was covered in cracker crumbs. My son said the fitted sheet was on, so he assumed it was clean. He slept on dirty sheets and a filthy mattress for two nights! Replacement blanket sent up was also dirty. The manager, Jacob, offered to give me points but claimed he was waiting to hear from corporate. He has since not responded to calls or emails. Really upsetting experience.
Le personnel très disponible Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié Un bar dans l’hôtel
Un peu loin du métro Le parking n’est pas inclus dans le tarif et est très cher
Was really impressed with how spacious our room was. Loved the view from the top floor balcony. It was conveniently located to our destination.
Parking was expensive at the hotel but front desk let us know of parking very nearby that was half the price.
Good morning, I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for Christian, the night front desk manager, for the exceptional service he provided last night. Due to weather-related flight cancellations, I had to secure 9 rooms for a group of ladies traveling with me, and Christian was incredibly helpful throughout the process. During what was already a very stressful situation, he was kind, professional, patient, and truly went above and beyond to assist us. His support made a difficult evening much easier, and I am very grateful for the care and attention he showed my group. Because of this positive experience, I will absolutely keep your property in mind and recommend it for any future group trips we have in Chicago. Please extend my thanks to Christian for his outstanding hospitality. The room was spacious
The pool was not opened and it was the reason why I chose the hotel.
We stayed 4 nights at the Fulton location. Room was nice and comfortable. Check in/out easy. The staff is very nice. Breakfast was typical, nothing to rave about. Often the breakfast was out of things during busy time. No housekeeping, not even every other day. For the nightly price you pay I don't feel you should have to ask for a cleaning and trash removal with a four-night stay. The location is good with a famous deep-dish pizza around the corner and a Walgreens just a block over for any forgotten toiletries or medicine. A uber or Lyft ride to any tourist attractions is about 15 to 20 minutes ranging from $15 to $30 depending on the day and time. Other than the housekeeping it was a good stay.
Substantial accommodations but not as nice as other Hyatt locations I’ve stayed at. Apparently there was a plumbing issue. It caused issues in my room. Maintenance helped as they could. When we checked out there was an unpleasant odor in elevator & lobby.
They overbooked their rooms and tried offering me a lesser room for the same price I paid for the king suite. Worse Valentines Day experience ever had I'll just stay at home next year.
Met my needs as expected. Was clean and room was spacious. Service was friendly and helpful. Breakfast could have been more interesting.
Comfortable
View
Came in after 10pm on a Friday night. Storms made our flight delayed for 5 hours. Tough travel day for sure. When we arrived the valet parking was nowhere to be seen. Waited over 15 minutes for someone to show up. When he did he yelled at me for sticking 5 feet past the sign blocking his ramp to the garage. What a jerk! I bit my tongue and didn't say a thing. Rooms were clean and larger than I expected with microwaves and a frigerator and sink. Street noise on lower floors was an issue for my son whose room was on the 4th floor. Lobby area on 3 was spacious and comfy but you only get one chance to make a first impression and the valet made it for the entire hotel. Sorry but lose that guy or get him some serious customer service training.
Very spacious rooms. The little divider between the two beds is a nice touch when traveling with family. The living space is a nice addition. Location was within walking distance to the areas we needed for when WWE was in town. Breakfast was good! No waffles, pancakes were a bit stiff but fruit, potatoes, hard boiled eggs, and apple juice made up for it.
The bathroom doesn't have a vent so after a shower, it gets hot and the steam comes into the room.
The property was by far one of the cleanest and nicest hotels I’ve ever been to. The rooms are very spacious, clean and organized. The staff is very friendly and respectful. Beautiful high floor view.
It was spacious and quiet.
No real info about valet parking. Like needed to check in before no one even approached to tell while you are waiting for someone to take your car.
I liked the location, the continental breakfast was satisfactory, and the room was nice. I also liked that there was cheap parking lots located near the hotel if people did not want to valet.
