The breakfast buffet was very good. The A/C in the room worked very well.
Nice hotel in a good location
The property is in a good location, the rooms were large and clean. The hotel is just pretty old. The ceilings are low, it’s dark, the colors are brown, and it just comes across as needing an update. Staff was great very friendly.
The property is super close to the highway so you have highway noise, sirens, all day and night. It lightens up in the night but always there. The hotel is dark and comes across as outdated. The hotel gym was small, dark with low ceilings and not a place I wanted to spend time in. I went outside for a walk instead.
It was a great location very close to attractions and restaurant was really good.
Our t.v had bad cable connection kept going in and out about every 20-30 seconds couldn’t watch a full tv show. No microwave in room. Did not like the fact we had to pay for parking garage daily. For the price I had to pay it wasn’t worth it.
Convenient access to parking garage.
The hotel is old. Staff customer service was okay.
The service at the front desk was very good.
A little run down and somewhat dirty
The location is in a cool neighbourhood but it’s right on the noisy highway
Elevators not working causing long waits. Older property in need of a refurb- flickering lights in room, doors no longer able to be closed internally, lumpy old pillows
The area, it was close to Fulton market. The gym was pretty good and they cleaned our room each day.
The beds were too soft. We had 4 people in a twin room and we always had to ask for extra towels since they only gave us 2
The security seemed to be really good
The hallways in the elevator smelled like marijuana for no smoking hotel. He sure smelled marijuana a lot, and we don’t like that smell.
Location
Noise. Very VERY noisy, but still enjoyed my stay.
the location
parking, it should have a parking for their guest specially if it’s only a day and free.
Good location and the king suite set up was ideal for my family. Staff were very welcoming and even my dog felt welcome. Facilities were clean
Crowne Plaza: Proof that “Crowne” is just a fancy spelling and not an actual upgrade. Don’t let the name fool you. “Crowne” does not mean crown. It does not mean regal. It does not mean nicer. It just means someone in marketing thought an extra “e” would make the 1980s carpet feel more prestigious. The room was a masterclass in dated disappointment. The carpet hasn’t been touched since shoulder pads were cool and it shows - loud, tired, and somehow still collecting regrets. Chunks were missing from the bottom of the door like the room itself tried to leave and only made it halfway. The balcony was there in spirit (and in concrete), but chairs were apparently optional. You can stand outside and reflect on your life choices, but you can’t sit down to do it. The bathroom rounded things out with a few mystery hairs that were definitely not mine and felt like they’d been there longer than the wallpaper. Everything had that special sticky-dusty energy of a place that stopped trying sometime around the Reagan administration. I’ve stayed in older hotels that still felt cared for. This one felt both ancient and neglected at the same time - an impressive, if unintentional, achievement. So no, Crowne does not mean crown. It just means you should keep driving.
Location in close proximity to vacation venue.
Unexpected challenge related to paying for breakfast that was included in Booking.com reservation. The additional purchase was not visible to hotel staff and we had to cover food on the 1st day. Hotel mgmt asked for proof of purchase of meals for following day. Res confirmation clearly stated meals were part of the room rate. 3rd party booking created more hassle than we had expected.
room was spacious - with a balcony and the location is prime!
I wish it had a pool :)
Good location, rooms clean, friendly staff. Good breakfasts
Regina, Regina, Regina! From check in to every time help was needed or an interaction with her was had she was professional and courteous. Even when I expressed the bad service from a staff who was working the night shift Vernell, I believe was his name, she was shocked and appalled informed me of him being a manager and apologized for his lack of professionalism. Miguel came to deliver the services that Vernell refused when he abruptly hung the phone up while I was asking him for fresh towels. Miguel warm smile and politeness made the interaction with Vernell slightly fade. Ms. Regina deserves a raise and promotion, she was always moving and assisting Guest each time I seen her, which was often as I wash in and out periodically. Her compliments on my hair on a bad hair day made my day as well, lol. Miguels quick response time, professionalism and empathy need to be recognized as well. This is the type of employee's is who I'd like to interact with when I'm checking into a hotel. Even the breakfast staff was pleasant and food was awesomely prepared.
Tiana was great. I was so relieved to have a helpful smiling face greet me. Will stay again.
Nice hotel

Regina at the front desk was amazing, she went above and beyond for my reservation and made sure all my request were handled seamlessly. God bless her
Close to everything.
No smoking area & no security patrolling just outside doors for smokers, especially late at night & limited cameras.
Best part about the trip was Regina at the front desk front making sure everything ran smoothly for my lady’s birthday
I had the distinct pleasure of interacting with Regina during my check-in experience. I arrived not having reservations and I was stressed. It was also the holiday weekend so the city was quite busy. That woman calmed my nerves. She was pleasant and she took her time to find me the best accommodations for me and took extra steps that went above and beyond. If this is the type of people that they hire, this is the poster child for excellence. Customer service is not dead. In fact, Regina is an example of what customer service should be. I tipped my hat applaud you for your kindness and your professionalism. If there is an employee of the month it should be Regina. 🤗
Our reservation was cancelled without our knowledge. We learned when we arrived. The first reason given was "inventory issues". The second reason given was that I failed to call by 3pm to update my credit card info (which I had, by 1030am). Rude, dismissive staff at the fromt desk. We were only staying one night, en route to another destination. We ended up driving 3 more hours then originally planned and scrambled to find a place to stay at 1030pm on the way. Avoid this place.
I had no problems with my staying everyone was pretty nice. When I got there Regina was very helpful and nice she made my boyfriend and I feel very welcome. It was a great experience
West Loop is a nice neighborhood but make sure your room is not facing the highway - it's incredibly loud.
The hotel is severely outdated and incredibly loud due to highway proximity, but our primary issue is the highly unprofessional staff and a completely botched room booking. Room Downgrade: Upon a late night check in, staff informed us our booked twin room (two beds) was unavailable. Instead, we were placed in a room with a pull-out sofa and one bed. Though labeled a "suite," it forced one of us to make our own bed and sleep on a sofa mattress. Poor Communication & Room Forfeiture: The next morning, the front desk called to say our twin room was ready. Because we were still sleeping, we were going to check in with the front desk later that morning. We were never warned of a time limit, yet when we went downstairs with our belongings, staff informed us they had given our room away. Displacement & Lack of Communication: Within 12 hours, we went from the wrong room type to no room at all and were forced to put our luggage in storage. Staff promised to call us the moment a room opened up. Instead, they left us entirely without updates for over 7 hours (from 10:30 AM to past 6:00 PM). We only discovered a room was finally available when we returned to the hotel that evening. Unprofessional Staff: Throughout this ordeal, the front desk was rude, impatient, and treated us like a nuisance rather than guests experiencing a hotel-caused error. Breakfast vouchers did not make up for this treatment. Lack of Accountability: Booking.com attempted to contact the hotel on our behalf to cancel the remainder of our stay, but the front desk never picked up their phone calls or respond to emails.
Good location.
Most of the front desk staff was very nice and professional. One was not. Will not mention name but was talked to very rudely and unprofessional. Will not be staying here again. Bathroom was not clean but rest of room was. Waited for 3 hours to get into our room after check in time.
It was clean, and the staff was very kind and helpful. I love the fact that WholeFoods was around the corner!

Breakfast was good and the location ideal fit my vacation.

Room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Bed was comfortable and clean. The location was safe and within walking distance of all my activities I planned for my stay.
The only issue I faced was my thermostat on the wall turned off and I couldn't figure out what happened with it. This was on my last day so it wasn't a big deal.
Our room was in dire need of an upgrade and soundproofing. Our room was on the 14th floor overlooking the expressway from a balcony. It was absurdly loud until after midnight. The front desk gave us earplugs to help. The TV was not chrome share compatible, couldn't mirror my mobile so, bring an adapter to plug into the unit to direct share. However, the front desk staff were excellent and on top of their game. Rye Deli has a solid breakfast buffet and they make great lattes to help wake you up. Service at the Rye was also excellent. Overall not bad if you don't stay on the side of the expressway.
Service was impeccable. Robin was awesome

Location
1. Cleanliness 2. Decor very outdated 3. Turn carpet in our room 4. Sink too small 5. Toilet was too low to ground. 6. Lobby outdated and uncomfortable and nothing seemed clean. 7. Ice maker out of order 8. Called front desk as no toilet paper in room and was told I’d have to come down to get it. This was at 11:30 at night and had to wait 25 min. before I was waited on!
clean and had a nice restaurant
was charged for a room before check and was not notified of this.
Location
I booked online for a double bed and queen bed. Paid a little extra for a queen but got two double beds.
The location was excellent.
A lot of noise, we could hear the highway during the whole night. The AC was too loud
The hotel is so close to the parking garage; you do not have to cross a busy street to get to and from. They will hold your luggage until a room is available for check-in. The location is amazing; Walgreens and two other grocery stores on all sides, and great food within blocks.
Nothing - literally nothing. We loved everything about the hotel. Cannot say enough good things about this hotel!
Was a great expirience!!
nothing because they didn’t even let me stay there, even tho it’s been paid for and i never cancelled it
you guys didn’t even let me stay, even tho i called around 4pm yesterday to ask about the hotel and not once did the lady tell me she was gonna cancel my hotel stay, the miscommunication is insane and telling me my room is cancelled after driving 2 hours to get there is just not right, you also never gave me my money back and you guys say you don’t have the money but it was charged.
Location.
The alarm clock starting going off at 5am and there was no off button it looked like it was broken off so had to keep hitting snooze. The toilet seat is so low to ground it’s really strange. The balcony window was very dirty.
Clean roomy comfortable. All three people I dealt with at the front desk were awesome!!
I would like to commend Vernell Moore. A true host and a positive addition to the start (or end) of a day. 5-Stars

Great location
There was noise entire week . No warning while booking . Breakfast quality food is not so great , could be better
We stayed at the hotel for one night. The staff was so friendly and helpful. You need to give these people a raise.
Wish we could have had a glass of wine at Rye before 2:30 pm. We were on vacation for one night.
Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great location and felt very safe.
Good location
Great stay
Balcony, location, size of the room
Bathroom was nice but if they could remodel them, it would help a lot. Also switch to hard wood floor
It was in a less busy area..
The ENTIRE time we were there it stunk of marijuana. We called the front desk several times and they never offered to do anything but just said “well I guess we can move you” I paid over a $1000 for my stay and it was terrible.
Staff was great easy in a good location for the salt shed
The parking- we had to go back out and move the car which was kind of annoying but not a huge deal
Todo
Se filtraba un poco de aire por la ventana, pero todo estuvo grandioso!
Parking situation stinks. The hotel switched our room on us as well.
staff, room
Wifi didnt really work so major fail
Convenient, clean
Hotel bar closed at 5pm on Saturday
We had a great stay at the Crowne Plaza Chicago West Loop. The hotel was very clean and affordable, which made it a great choice for our time in Chicago. Check-in was smooth, and we even got to enjoy happy hour drinks at the hotel restaurant, which was a nice bonus after a day of travel. The staff were very helpful and provided us with a list of nearby restaurants, all within walking distance, which made it easy to explore the area. We ended up going for pizza and had a great night out. The location is excellent, very walkable to shops, restaurants, and the Riverwalk, making it easy to enjoy everything the city has to offer. Overall, a great stay and a perfect base for exploring Chicago!
All was great!

Location was good for our needs The general manager was very friendly and the staff at the desk were helpful
Facilities a bit tired, needs updating, room was small and spare
Bed & view
No microwave no extra blanket Improve customer service
was very clean
room is very small and inconvenient spot for a room choice even after requesting.
Good location for United Center events. Walkable! Friendly staff. Bar closed on a St. Patrick’s day 3/14/26 at 6pm. Missed opportunity for a lot of business!
Location was great for us. Walking distance to everything.
The restaurant’s music was excessively loud, spilling into the lobby and making it difficult to have a conversation.
