The location was good for access to most walkable Montreal must see attractions, restaurants and shopping.Good response to our request for a lightbulb replacement. Complimentary breakfast was sufficient.

There are only two old slow elevators and one was out of service our entire visit. The furnishings and carpets are dated and not very clean. I appreciate an effort to be green and conserve water but I don't like eating off cardboard plates with flimsy wooden utensils.

The balcony and the clean rooms

The location was great, very close to downtown. We could walk everywhere and there is pod coffee in the room.

The carpet was very dirty, it really needs replacing. Very sticky and lots of dark stains. We were on floor 11, but that was not enough to escape the noise from the bars and clubs in the street. The rooms are not soundproofed at all.

Rue commerçante sainte catherine au bout de la rue. 2) excellente literie. chambre propre et bien insonorisée avec petite terrasse. 3) chambre bien équipée: micro-ondes+ réfrigérateur+ café+ petit-déjeuner inclu 4) très bon acceuil nous recommandons cet établissement.

The breakfast room did not have enough space and breakfast items were limited. Also, the elevator was very slow.

The room had a old, used, damp smell. The pull-out bed could not be used. It was dirty, torn and smelt musty.

Le canapé lit est inutilisable : on aurait dormi sur des barres métalliques et ressorts... et par ailleurs le matelas était dans un état de propreté déplorable. La seule solution a été de faire dormir notre fille la plus jeune sur le canapé sans le déplier. Il est honteux de proposer un tel équipement comme un lit, même d'appoint. On nous a proposé de changer de chambre, mais il en était exactement de même.

Bon emplacement dans Montréal où de nombreuses choses peuvent être faites à pied, bon accueil, chambre en hauteur avec une belle vue sur le quartier et petit balcon très appréciable.

Un petit coup de "neuf" pour les chambres serait bienvenu !

It was quiet, and mostly clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable.

The sink was cracked badly, and some things were in disrepair, like a hole in the wall. The staff couldn't get me pillows for the sofa bed, and there were 2 sets of sheets/blankets on the bed, one of which had dried blood on it. The sofa bed wasn't comfortable - the mattress should be replaced. More attention should be paid to making up the sofa bed to make sure things are clean.

I received an upgrade to a nice little suite … lots of room … quiet spot … clean room… friendly service… great breakfast… would recommend and stay again!

Having paid in advance for my stay, I was asked for a $100 deposit on my arrival. It’s now over a week since I checked out and my deposit has still to be refunded. Terrible. I have chased them and they claim it’s a banking issue. Yet I have stayed in 5 other hotels during my trip and in each case my deposit has been refunded in 48 hours. This seems like a scam- don’t stay here

O quarto era bem espaçoso, mas não estava muito limpo. Banheiro grande e limpo. Localização boa, perto de restaurantes e transportes públicos. O café da manhã também foi muito bom, apesar de não ter muita variedade.

Os cantos do quarto tinham teia de aranha e alguns papéis de parede estavam descolando, demonstrando uma certa falta de cuidado.

Location was ideal. Close to bars & restaurants and subway. Hot breakfast was nice as well.

amazing location. close to tonnes of restaurants and shops. 2 stops to old town. in between 2 subway lines so it's super convenient. the free breakfast is good. they have a waffle machine! the beds and pillows were comfortable. rooms were clean and spacious enough. the room balcony had a great view.

the elevator was very slow. no water fountain to refill water. breakfast area is small. we had to eat in our room one day.

The room we had was a decent size for fitting 5 people: two beds and a sofa bed. In the lobby, there's a small corner for getting iced water (with lemon), which is nice. The breakfast is quite good, with a good selection of food: scrambled eggs, hard-boiled eggs, sausages, yogurt, bread, apples, oranges, cereal. There's a waffle machine and toasters. (On our last day, they didn't have the waffle maker out, but they made pancakes, which is not bad either.) They have instant hot chocolate and instant oatmeal as well.

The area around the property is a little bit sketchy. There was construction at one end of the road, so the property was hard to find (we needed to drive through a narrow alley). At night, if you're walking around the property, it feels a little unsafe with some people gathering around bars/clubs. If you're driving, the parking situation is not ideal. You basically have to use the valet service (extra $40/night) where your car is parked in the underground parking of Holiday Inn across the street. If you do take your car out during your stay, they won't park it back if you come back late at night (after 8 or 9 pm). The room doesn't have a normal kettle, only a Keurig coffee machine. If you need to boil hot water for drinking, cooking cup noodles, etc., it's not ideal. There's "hot" water from the lobby, but it's usually lukewarm.

Chambre spacieuse avec machine à café à disposition dans la chambre et dans le hall. Le personnel est au petit soin, merci ! Suite à un problème de toilettes bouchées, nous avons pu récupérer à minuit une ventouse à l'accueil et la discrétion du personnel est à souligner tant pour la remise que la réception de cette ventouse malgré la gêne évidente dans cette situation.

Trop de queue au petit déjeuner pour accéder à une place malgré presque 30 places assises, sans parler de l'unique gaufrier pris d'assaut et parfois monopolisé par certains qui ne se soucis pas des autres (et oui le partage ça s'apprend !).

The rooms were extremely outdated and extremely DIRTY!! Wall paper was peeling from the walls, carpets were lifting and dirty. There were "stains" on the ceiling - disgusting. Looked more like a "by the hour" hotel.

Location was great and the room was spacious. Steps away from shopping, restaurants and the Bell Centre. Check in staff was helpful. Was helpful to have a sofa bed. Bathroom seemed to be updated.

Hotel is quite dated. The room felt damp all the time. Elevators are extremely slow, you’ll have to wait a good 10 mins during peak time to be able to use it. Check out staff was not pleasant.

Great location, but because of construction the hotel was very difficult to find and access by car. The staff person I talked to gave great directions and we very helpful.

It was very dated and had dirty carpeting. There were french fries on the floor in the hallway for the 3 days we were there.

The property is a bit run down. Could benefit from some fresh paint, new carpet and new furniture. The fabric on furniture in the room was very worn. The table was broken.

The continental breakfast was good. They were able to accomodate a higher room to be away from street noise. The location was close to our venue.

The extra expense to "valet" parking was frustrating. The lack of on site parking was frustrating. The street leading to the hotel was closed, it made it challenging to find.

I liked that it was easy to find my room and where to go. The staff at the front desk were nice and that the AC worked really well making it comfortable with the extreme heat there was.

I didn’t like that the hotel room we had, had dirt on the carpet, holes in the wall, and the shower didn’t drain very well so we were standing in a pool of water when showering. I also didn’t like that when asked the staff doing the breakfast a question she wasn’t very nice and started talking and laughing about us with other members. There also was not much selection or space to go so often couldn’t eat because there was no where for us to go to eat in the room and no space to grab anything even when we went earlier for breakfast. I also didn’t not like the fact that we had to park far away because there is no parking and had to pay extra on top of the hotel for the parking where as parking should be included even if it was parking down the street there should be a parking pass for guests.

Think twice before booking at this hotel. Condition of room is disgusting, wall paper peeling,fowl smell coming in the corridor of the room and fowl smell coming from the AC. I had to vacate the room next day on 4th July 2026 by 9 a.m and went to Holiday Day Inn at 1390, boulevard René-Lévesque Ouest, H3G 0E3 Montréal, Canada. If Holiday Inn had room availability on 3rd July 2026, then I would not stay one night in this hotel with my wife and 2 kids.

Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich hatte nur irgendwann keine Lust mehr zu diskutieren.

Im ersten Zimmer hatte es Scherben am Boden, Haare im Bett, Verpackungspapierchen rumliegen... es war nicht sauber. Ich fragte dann nach einem Wechsel, welcher auch gewährt wurde (inkl. Entschuldigung). Im neuen Zimmer war es auf den ersten Blick besser. Habe dann aber auch verspritzte Bettdielen, Glasreste und Verpackungsabfall gefunden. Scheint also leider Standard zu sein. Die Umgebung ist sehr laut und die Vorhänge decken die Fenster nicht ganz, deshalb erwacht man tendenziell gerne Mal. Das Frühstück war okay, aber nicht gut, ausserdem gibt es dort nur Wegwerfgeschirr, was ich nicht zeitgemäss finde.

Dirty, filthy, old furniture, staff is never there, spoiled and rotten food inside the mattress in the room, cracks and holes in walls. NO PARKING. Extra 35$ for overnight parking provided by another hotel. Completely overpriced for the services paid. Better use Novotel nearby or anything else, they are all cheaper than this hole. Breakfast has no selection of healthy options and only powdered eggs. Do not waste your money and time. Do not bring kids.

Loved how simple and easy it was to check in, valet parking, comfortable rooms with balcony city view !

Hard to find room balconies in downtown hotels, this has one which was great. Perfect location!

I forgot to put a review but the hotel staffs are 100/100!!! I love them especially those two staffs at the front desk, i dont know their names but they were so welcoming. The room is so clean and I got the 14th floor. It was a nice view and the breakfast is good! Will come back again. Everything is walkable especially the Centre Bell since I attended 5SOS’ concert :))) I had a great stay!

Not military friendly at all. Booked a non refundable room a month ahead. Week later, 3 weeks before the trip date, requested a free cancellation. As a military member you know how hard it is to book a vacation... Got change of plans unfortunately. Choice global customer service was willing to cancel it for free and the booking.com was willing to do that too, however the property itself declined it. The lady on the phone at the property was rude, and after back and forth with my explanation just hung up on me. I understand the consequences of non-refundable room booking, however, there is an option at the discretion of the property for a free cancellation. Been with Choice and Comfort suites for a while. I think its time to try something better. The company that should provide service has failed its single purpose. So the room will be empty but paid. And even after the reply on my review on Google, their answer was - no and hang up the phone. Never again

Location is great. 10 min walk from train station. 5 min to metro. Room was spacious. Fridge was large.

Room was very dated. Not dirty but definable not sparkling clean. Wallpaper was peeling in multiple places. Breakfast buffet was very limited (eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal) so good for the first day but same thing everyday after,

Upon arrival, we discovered a toothbrush left behind by a previous guest. In addition, the room was extremely dusty. As I am highly sensitive to dust, I spent the entire night sneezing and was unable to rest properly. The room was also missing towels and extra blanket. Furthermore, the charging outlets we attempted to use for our mobile devices were not functioning. These issues were reported to the front desk but remained unresolved. To make matters worse, reaching the front desk was extremely difficult. The line was constantly busy, and our calls frequently went unanswered. As a result we were left without assistance despite repeatedly attempting to contact the hotel. The breakfast experience was also disappointing. The selection was very limited, offering and the quality of the food very cheap and below expectations. We believe that the quality of our stay fell well below the standard reasonably expected from your property.

The location of the property was perfect, the staff was phenomenal and went above and beyond for our stay. We had a wonderful time.

Tiny elevators & hallways made navigation through the hotel with my 3 kids in a stroller/wagon a bit challenging, but it was passable. I don't recommend stepping outside after sunset... the streets are a scandal.

both bed frames had what appeared to be vomit stains, our hand soap was hidden on the inside of a coffee cup, our tea bags were pre torn, the balcony was visibly deteriorating and looks like it could collapse. We found someone's vape just lying on the floor from I presume the previous guest
